{Appearance}
Layden stands at 5â11â and weighs in around 180 lbs. Laydenâs body is incredibly toned from living his whole life in the wilderness and fighting every day to survive. He is not particularly bulky, nor do his muscles burst from his seems. They are form fitting and defined. He definitely has the build of a Martial Artist. His skin is tanned from spending every day outside. His hair is an off-white that is kept in a sort of messy spiky style that seems to have little direction behind it. He never really saw a need to do anything with it. His eyes are a deep forest green that hold a lot of pain for one so young.
He always wears the same attire. A short sleeve white and black hooded trench coat with gold trimming and designs. He wears nothing under the coat and always leaves it open, showing his bare chest. He wears dark navy blue pants with gold trimming complimented by black boots with real gold in them. Layden also sports a pair of black and gold fingerless gloves.
Layden states that his greatest treasure is the large gold medallion he uses as a belt buckle. It is obviously ancient and has an ancient depiction of a dragon on it. He states it was his fathers final gift to him.
{Tattoo}
It will be located on his right forearm in a stark white.
~ Mentality ~
{Personality}
Layden has been hurt in his life. Hurt bad. He is very withdrawn and doesnât really enjoy talking to people. He never particularly scowls or is out right mean to people, he simply prefers to be alone. It is very hard for him to trust people and will often treat people with suspicion. He can be a little harsh at times and a little inhuman at others. If you were to describe him, he sort of acts like a wounded animal. Very defensive , untrustingâŠâŠâŠ.and afraid. Itâs hard to tell from his outer shell, but inside heâs really just a scared little boy, crying for his daddy.
If you had somehow earned his trust and broken through all the layers of defenses built over the years of his life, you would find an incredibly kind and sensitive guy. Layden cares many living things, especially life. He believes all life is sacred, even down to a small flower or bug. He has a profound sense of compassion and detests people who try to dominate others or hurt others in any way. Even from behind his defenses, he will stand up for a stranger and die for them if he felt it was right. No second thoughts, no last regrets.
The thing you really ought to see, if you manage to befriend him, is his smile. Itâs like a burst of warm sunlight on a moonless night. A Beacon.[/center]
{Magic-Types}
Dragon-Slayer Magic: An ancient form of magic created during The Dragon Wars. The Dragons that fought on the side of humanity taught them their magic in order for them to do battle with evil dragons who wanted to enslave mankind. The user essentially becomes part dragon themselves. Obtaining increased senses, incredible strength, a massive endurance and durability and the ability of an element. All Dragon Slayers are immune to their respective elements and imbibe them in order to gain strength or heal themselves. Laydenâs element is Light, also known as White Dragon Slayer magic. Layden can consume light, darkening an area he has fed off of. His magic is almost purely offensive, having very little defensive techniques.
{Signature Spell}
White Dragon Flash - : His namesake attack, Layden emits an incredibly bright white light from his body very briefly. When the light dies down, he is gone. What he does is he briefly alters his body to move at near light speed in a quick short burst. He is not able to sustain this form but for maybe 2 seconds. But, he can use it in succession. It gives him the appearance of being able to teleport around the battlefield, but in fact he is simply moving at incredible speeds. He uses this in conjuction with his advanced hand to hand fighting style to take down his opponents.
{Spell List}
~White Dragon Roar: The one common ability among every Dragon Slayer, the Roar attack. Layden breathes in, then releases an incredibly focused beam of pure white light from his mouth. The attack is absolutely devastating.
~White Dragon Claw: Layden covers his hand or both of his hands in pure white light and attacks his enemies with it, often slashing or punching them.
~White Dragon Talon: Layden coats his feet in white light and attacks with rapid kicks. Often used in conjunction with his White Dragon Claw technique.
~White Dragon Tail: Layden coats his leg in pure white light, he then raises it into the sky, then brings it down with a tremendous amount of force. When it hitâs the ground, it releases a slash like wave of white light at his opponent.
~White Dragon Wings: Layden leaps into the air, crossing both arms in an X shape in front of him. He gathers a large ball of white light in each hand, then quickly opens his arms and releasing the light. Resulting in a giant white X to fly at the opponent.
~White Dragon Gun: Layden forms his hand to look like a gun and gathers white light at the tip of it. He then fires off a quick concentrated light bullet at his opponent. He also has a rapid fire and dual wielding version of this.
~White Dragon Egg: He creates a large egg shaped mass of white light in his hand about the size of a football. He has two separate attacks with this technique. The basic one is he simply throws it at his opponent and it detonates on contact in a massive light explosion that sounds like a dragons roar. The second one is he shoots them randomly into the ground over the duration of a fight. Then, when his opponent is in the perfect position, he causes all of his eggs to âHatchâ at the same time. Causing a massive explosion that usually leaves a rather impressive crater.
~White Dragon Dance: Laydenâs body starts to emit a white light of a low spectrum. You can still see him, he seems to just begin to glow. Every time he moves, he seems to leave an after image of himself. This is meant to confuse and disorient his opponent, never knowing which one of the 7 arms is actually going to land the punch. He uses this technique often in accordance with his Dragon style and White Dragon Flash techniques.
~White Dragon Beacon: Layden gathers all of the light he can into his body, causing him to become a pure white being. He then release this energy straight up and in a 35ft. radius around him. Itâs power is overwhelming.
{Non-magic Skills}
#Martial Artist: Layden and his father Anima, The White Dragon, developed a fighting style based on the movements of how Dragonâs fight physically. So his physical attacks are reminiscent of a how a dragon attacks with it s claws fangs and tail, but instead using his arms and legs, seeing as he has no claws, fangs or tail. It is a very fluid yet powerful fight style.
# Tracker: Laydenâs Dragon Slayer powers give him inhuman senses of smell, sight and hearing. He is able to identify different scents and even able to follow them over very long distances. If he has met someone before or has an article of their clothing, he can find them, period.
# Singer: Through his lessons of history with his father, he found when he sang the ancient hymns, that he sang them rather beautifully. Well, Layden never thought he could sing that well, Anima stated that he did and wished he would sing for him often. Layden doesnât really like to sing for people he doesnât know, it embarrasses him.

{Biography}
There is a place spoken in rumor throughout the world. It is called the Garden of Aethyra. It is a place of True Magic. A place of life, hope, renewal.......of Light. It is a place where no human has ever set foot. Except one. The first human to see it was a little wide eyed babe carried there in a Dragon's claw. This Dragon, who was called Anima the White Dragon, was the guardian of this sacred place. Though he had taken a solemn oath never to allow a human to set foot within the Garden, his heart could not ignore the cries of a lonely child. A child that had been cast aside within a hollow tree. Anima took this baby in and decided to raise him as his son. He taught him how to read and right. He taught him how to hunt and find out which plants were safe and which were poisonous. He taught him magic to defend himself. But, most importantly, he taught him what magic meant and what he was supposed to do with it.
Layden and Anima were as close as any father and son, probably closer. Anima called him son and Layden called him father. They were both very happy. They would figure things together, make things together, stare at the stars and scare the squirrels. It was a blessed life.
That is, when Layden came back from the spring they drank from with fresh water, Anima was gone. Layden waited for him. He waited four years in the Garden for Anima to return......all alone. He ended up developing even more animal like tendencies and and retreated into the mind of a beast for a time.
One day, he came across some men with weapons attacking a group of people on a carriage. He had accidentally left the Garden and entered the Wood in which it was hidden in. It was the first time he saw another human in his entire life. He was 17 years old. He used his skills to save the people from the bandits and they thanked him in gold. Anima had a great treasure so he knew what gold was. Meeting thses people sparked in him what he had forgotten, all of the lesson Anima had taught him. He found out how this world worked and how to belong in it. He ran as quickly as he could back tot he Garden and dressed himself in the clothes Anima had made for him for his original departure day. Layden decided today was that day. He left the Garden and into the world.
He made a name for himself as a Lone Mage, doing odd jobs for people to every town he went to. whether it was fighting off monsters or helping to build homes. It was then when he met a man. He met him in a tavern. Said tavern owners and patrons were being harassed by some deserters posing as Royal soldiers. Layden fought them when they carelessly knocked aside a small girl. After the fight had ended, the man came up to him and stated, "IF ya ever need a place to fight and get drunk, your welcome at Onyx Nightstone." At first, Layden declined the invitation, preferring to be alone. After about 2 months, he started to think about what Anima woulod want for him. He would want him to be with his kind and maybe find a new family. He would want him to be happy. Besides, perhaps there would be someone at this guild who could help him find his father.
He is now on his way to Mizore, following the man's intense alcohol ridden stench all the way to the isolated yet bustling town. He intends to join the Guild and hopefully find something he's been looking for for 5 years.
