◉Weaknesses◉
Arsonphobia- Fear of fire | Absent-minded | Unsociable

Image◉Personality◉
Independent | Phlegmatic | Polite | Cynical
Very little is known about Ai to her classmates because she appears to enjoy her own company. However, avoidance isn't completely possible with field trips, group assignments, and other compulsory teamwork. When she is grouped, she has an agreeable nature and cooperates with others even if the ideas sound terrible.
Despite being surrounded by high school gossip, the need to make friends and popularity, Ai seems immune to it. She doesn't participate in any drama and blends with the lockers, keeping quiet and to herself. If not for a silly cinnamon challenge, she might have succeeded in not existing at all to her cohort.

Ai views herself negatively but doesn't know where to start. She's been a loner for the most of her life with her parents' inattentiveness and a lack of friends. When she is approached, she also can't help but think negatively too, bringing their motives into question. It was a small idea but an idea nonetheless that maybe the Host Club could help her break out of her shell and routine.

Image◉General Background◉
Ai lost her pet dog named Shigure when her house was engulfed in flames with an undetermined cause. She was 12 years old at the time and although the rest of her family was alive, their lives restored to normal eventually, she never forgot. "Time heals all wounds," They'd say but Ai was never the same after that and the burn scar on the back of her left arm never completely faded away. She's very afraid of fire that even a fireplace can make her freeze stiff. She still loves dogs as much as she adored Shigure but only ever manages to reach out and never pet them.

Her family is wealthy but distant with each other due to their careers taking priority. Her father Eiji Kimura is a Politician, a member of Japan's cabinet under the prime minister as one of the nineteen ministers of state. Her mother Amane Sugawara (maiden name) Kimura is a Chief Physician/Chief of Medicine for a hospital in the heart of Tokyo. They're rarely home, trusting Ai to take care of herself.

xxxxAi walked through Ouran's hallways with her nose in the books not registering anyone else's presence. Habit had made the school layout recognizable enough that she didn't need to look up once as she maneuvered through people. The atmosphere was lively with everyday greetings and gossip but Ai would continue on her way with all of that information falling on deaf ears. She looked like a bookworm but she actually disliked school and studying, only doing so out of necessity and boredom. Besides, she'd feel worse if the teacher sprung out a pop quiz and she got a low mark!

xxxxShe paused with one foot up a staircase to flick to the next page. Her life really was uneventful the more she thought about it, closing the book and pressing the hard cover against her lower lip as she gazed up at the ceiling. A strange idea had passed through her mind. I've never attended the host club before. That would be an event, wouldn't it? The club was really popular among the students and it had been bragged to have the 'most handsome' hosts. Since her first-year learning about the club's existence, she had been on the fence and neutral about it. After all, in a sense, it was just a business catering to people's needs and desire. It was a matter of each to their own.

xxxxAi was a little curious and that's all it took for her to decide that she would visit later today just to satisfy that curiosity. However, deep down she was lonely and longing for companionship. She could attend the academy every day without missing a beat in her routine and ignore the drama around her but by the end of it, she wasn't... happy. Many times she had mistaken a wave that was not meant for her and it would be nice if there was at least one person in the world who would give her that much. She tidied her fringe and fixed the angle of her eyeglasses before reopening her book at the page she had stopped at. If person A won 42 out of 63 matches in their career, find X the number of matches they must win in a row to raise their win percentage--

"There we are!" I said ecstatically as Toshiko came out of the dressing room, where the few Cosmetologists that the Club had on hand had been making her appear more as a male. They had placed a teensy amount of makeup onto her job, making it appear as though she had a bit of stubble, which might have bit a bit over the top, even in my humblest of opinions, and we'd probably need to scrap that during future gatherings of the Host Club. They also bound her chest to make her appear flat and more masculine; this touch I would likely have them continue in the future, otherwise Toshiko's cover might be blown.

I stood inside of Music Room 3, the rest of the Hosts standing behind me but also around me, in a sort of half-circle, surrounding sort of pattern, all of us ready to welcome our guests for the day. I grabbed the door handles and thrust them towards me, into the room, allowing them to rush open dramatically. "Welcome, ladies, to the Ouran Host Club!" I announced with a large smile painting across my face, motioning back to the other Hosts, who were all standing waiting for their guests with smiles that I'd love to believe were all absolutely genuine, though I knew it was difficult for some to put on their happiest of faces. The Hosts began to take their spots around the room, and I gestured for the ladies to enter the room, extending my arm and bowing slightly, my other arm at my waist; I was quite skilled in being gentlemanly.

Once all of the lovely ladies had entered the room, I shut the doors most of the way, leaving them slightly cracked for anyone who might want to join a bit later, as the Club did go on for quite a bit of time. It did tend to take a good amount of time for us to get to each and every one of our guests. I took my seat on one of the long couches, where a few of my regulars were sitting, waiting for me. "I apologize, my sweet ladies, for making you wait, but a Prince does have his duties," I said, sighing as if I were exasperated, and my guests collectively gave an "Awwww!" while one said "You're so thoughtful!" and another swooned with an "Oh, Shigure! You must be exhausted!" while simultaneously offering me a cup of tea. I sighed in appreciation. "Thank you, ladies, thank you. You're all too terribly sweet!" I took the cup of tea from the one girl's hands, a Second Year by the name of Reina, and clasped her delicate hands within my own. "My sweet Reina, you're too kind," I said softly, my face close to hers. "But, please, my dear, don't cater to me. I, as a Host, am here to serve you." The girls around me squealed with delight as usual when I were to say something to heartfelt and caring.

An unfamiliar face entered the room, though I recognized her as a Second Year by the name of "Ai" from what I could vaguely remember, though I could have sworn she usually kept to herself, so I never would have expected her to show up in a place such as the Host Club, where socializing was a huge part of what went on. I stood, excusing myself politely from my guests, and made my way over to the doors, opening them just a bit as to allow for the quiet, seemingly timid girl to enter. "Welcome to the Host Club, my dear lady. I am Shigure, the Host Club's Prince!" I said enthusiastically, motioning
for her to enter the room, though she seemed to react slightly odd to me introducing myself.

Ichiro stood dumbfounded that this new, foreign girl had fallen prety to the Host Club. They've gotten everyone?! he thought to himself, continually more and more disgusted with the Host Club. "I'm Camila, by the way. I never got your name." Ichiro wasn't even sure if he wanted to give her his name, especially if she was going to be associating herself with the Host Club. He wasn't exactly interested in people who wanted to waste their time on such ridiculous, unnecessary things. "Uh, Ichiro," he said rather dryly. "I can't believe you're just another Host Club airhead." With that, he huffed and turned away, walking the opposite way down the hall.

What an absolute joke... he thought to himself. I need to figure out a way to take down the Host Club once and for all. First I need to figure out who else doesn't like the Host Club... Where to start...?

The doors of Music Room 3 opened before her eyes, and Kyo could feel them sparkling with excitement. Shigure greeted them, motioning for the many ladies to enter, a typical Shigure greeting. Kyo smiled brightly as she passe Shigure, practically making a B-line for Yuki, her favourite host, a cup of peppermint tea in her hands, Yuki's favourite. He was just so adorable, and Kyo couldn't help but make goo-goo eyes at him. He was so sweet and thoughtful, and he was truly a quite wonderful artist. Kyo always wondered how he was so talented. She set the cup down before Yuki, smiling ever-so cheerfully. "What're you sketching today, Yuki?" Kyo asked, her hands under her thighs as she sat on the edge of her seat.

Kyo almost couldn't handle how adorable Yukio looked today, and she realized she was staring again. Ohnonono... I'm staring again! Kyo thought to herself, immediately moving her eyes to look down at her knees, her cheeks flushing and turning pink. Ohnono... Yuki probably thinks I'm such a weirdo! I'm so stupid! Yuki was the one person that could make Kyo feel flustered in any way. She was usually very put together and strong-minded. Two of the main things that drew Kyo to Yuki in the first place was his love of art and cute things. Maybe that's why she felt so odd around him. They had things in common, something she couldn't normally find in a boy.

"Ow.. Ow..." Iro mumbled as all of the women flooded in and he hobbled to his spot in Music Room 3. He sat down with a big sigh and looked as the girls scurried around the room. As the waves came in, he couldn't help but notice some new faces that hadn't been with them last year. Many of them first years, but some were classmates of his. His regulars came over and immediately asked why he was hobbling and in pain. "Well it's kind of a funny story, but you cant tell anyone!" Iro hushed the girls in vain over the incredibly chaotic room and leaned in to tell them the story.

Earlier that day

"Get ready to run!" Iro spoke with intermitten laughs in between while holding a small device. Since it was the beginning of the Host Club's sessions Iro wanted to get things started with a bang.... literally. As against the rules as it was, he had decided to smuggle in a medium sized string of firecrackers attached to a sensor. Iro decided he wanted to mess with some of the Cosmetologist club members as they came in to work on Tosh, so he placed the firecrackers in their makeup bag.

When the time came and the students were next to the bag, Iro carefully pressed the button connected to the sensor. A few seconds went by and.. nothing happened. Iro looked up inquisitively from behind his hidey-hole and started frantically pressing the button. The group of boys walked over to the bag as the students left again to get more supplies to cover Tosh's beautiful face, and make it more manly, and one of the boys opened the bag and picked up the string of firecrackers. "It's a dud!" He laughed and bounced it up and down.

"Put that down you idiot, it may still go off." Iro sneered and looked on in shock as the boy threw the firecrackers to another student in the group. Finally the boys threw the fireworks to Iro and Iro, being the fire safe pyromaniac he is, decided not to catch it. Sadly the crackers hit Iro in the leg and connected a circuit that had become loose and started going off. The explosions wrapped around his leg and burned the pants leg slightly. "Run!" Iro yelled and felt the slight singe on his leg, hobbling off to the Host Club's opening, laughing in tears.

Current

"It didn't go as plan, but it's a good story!" He laughed rubbing his leg a bit and took some sour taffy that one of his guests had made for him. He smiled his kind smile and popped the candy into his mouth, Too sour!! I can't spit it out though! Ah! He smiled and swallowed the candy discretely looking up to the door. Hmm. The crowd's pretty sparse today, I wonder if anyone new will come and see me today?
He smiled a slight smile, with very little hope that anyone new will stumble in those doors just for him.

Some of the girls looked at him questioningly, noticing he wasn't his normal overtly confident self. "Are you okay hon?" One asked and Iro smiled a big, but false, smile taking her hands in his.

"Why wouldn't I be? I'm surrounded by the people I care about!" He laughed as the girls swooned. He knew this was a lie, but he had to keep up the facade of an average "host". They each started talking about their own hobbies, but Iro was lost in thought and was only half listening. Of course, why wouldn't I be..?

Hisashi smiled, silently greeting many of the girls with a gentle smile. He extended a hand, holding out a lavender rose.

"Welcome to the Host Club," his voice was warm. Just like how he had practiced with Morinozuka.

He handed one of the roses to a bright, bubbly girl. She squealed, Hisashi guessing she liked the gesture. He lead the girls towards a table, then grabbing a tea set from the kitchen. He served the three girls, silent as he listened to them talk. Finally, one of the girls asked him a question.

"Hisa-senpai, why don't you talk more? You're always quiet."

Hisashi thought on this a while before speaking, "I like listening to others. If I talk too often, I don't get to hear your voice. And your voice is something I wish to cherish, for who knows when I'll ever hear it again."

The girls, naturally, squealed as they gushed over how honest and kind he was. He chuckled a little to himself, as they seemed to talk about their days. He listened well, Hisashi enjoying the chatter and making sure to let them know he was listening. This was how it was with most of the guests that came to visit with him. Many were kind, one even giving him a small bear keychain to show her appreciation of a good chat. He smiled softly, thinking a bit as the girls giggled and chatted.

I'm thankful for this club. I can make others happy, even when I can't be.

"Excuse me a moment, ladies." He stood and went to Yukio. He pulled out the keychain, thinking it might fit Yukio better. He simply held out his hand, the cutesy keychain perfectly fitting in the palm of his hand.

xxxxAi arrived on time before Music Room #3 for the host club's opening but stood back, behind the crowd of huddled, excitable girls not wishing to get pushed or shoved around. "Welcome, ladies, to the Ouran Host Club!" She heard the announcement but that was all with the others blocking her view of the welcoming act. The girls ahead of her rushed in, some with less grace than others like a stampede of hormones until she was the only one left standing in the desolate hallway. The doors had shut most of the way but she could hear the joyous social noise coming from within. Ai was having second thoughts about trying something new. I don't want to turn into that.. She shook her head as an outlandish brief imagery crossed her mind of her becoming one of the girls to run into the host club, head over heels and starry-eyed. She had always had a solid calm disposition and very little could change that.

xxxxI'll take a peek so I didn't come here for nothing. She originally intended to just peek through the gap between the doors but unknowingly took a single step into the room drawn by the quality decor and happy atmosphere. Everyone seemed to be having a good time and showed different sides to the ones she saw in the classroom. Ai was starting to wish she brought her professional camera, photography one of her few hobbies that she was passionate about. She wasn't sure how the hosts or guests would feel about her taking photos of them but at the very least, she could photograph the interior design. It really looks like more than a simple music room. They went all out. Her eyes lowered to the floor ready to retreat because what was she thinking? She didn't belong here. She'd probably ruin the mood. She took a step back safely positioned behind the doors again that separated her from the greener grass on the other side. At the very least, her curiosity had been satisfied.

xxxx"Welcome to the Host Club, my dear lady. I am Shigure, the Host Club's Prince!" Ah. It was too late. Someone had spotted her. Already her day was changing and she'd only set one foot inside the music room. The blonde boy was enthusiastic and full of energy as he opened the doors a bit more encouraging her to enter. Instead, she lifted her head and parted her lips as the name clicked expressing a silent gasp of surprise. "Shigure? He had the same name of the family dog she grew up with and adored but she probably shouldn't say that outright. It would be impolite to compare a person to a dog. However, it didn't stop her from doing the comparison in her head. The Shigure before her and the dog Shigure's faces crossed over in her mind. Well, they both looked happy and cute. What if her dog was reincarnated into some sort of prince? No, wait that was not possible because of Shigure's age. She snapped out of her thoughts once she heard an imaginary Woof! It had gone too far.

xxxx"Kimura, Ai." she introduced herself formally but her voice was soft because she barely spoke to anyone unless it was necessary. She wasn't even accustomed to the sound of her own voice, her inner voice during thought more familiar. She probably couldn't excuse herself and retreat anymore if the host club prince himself was the one welcoming her inside. He was the one in charge, right? "Thanks for the warm welcome." she continued, expressionless now that her surprised moment had passed. She wasn't an open person so she kept her history with the deceased dog Shigure private. "I'm.. not sure how to proceed." she admitted both to herself and to Shigure a little awkwardly as her hand clasped tighter around the strap of her school bag. She was alien to these extra social gatherings.

I smiled quite widely at her timidness over being unaware of how the Host Club was to work exactly, thoguh it was to be expected of someone who's first time it was visiting the Hosts. He took her hand gingerly in his own, looking deep into her eyes. "You may sit with me today if you wish, my dear. I will show you the ways of the Host Club, and you can figure out for yourself if it's something for you, though I'm sure it will be. We are quite popular, you know," I said smoothly, giving her a friendly wink as I led her over to my area. A few of the girls shifted over on the couch, allowing us both room as we sat down beside one another. "Miss, would you like some tea?" I asked, offering her a cup.

It wasn't long before everything sort of fell into place; my other guests were surprisingly very welcoming to Ai, not being their usual pretentious selves, and I wondered if they were secretly planning something, but I shook the notion from my head, as my guests were better than that.

About fifteen minutes passed before one of my regulars excused herself, wishing to get herself a cup of tea, wanting something a bit sweeter than the Earl Grey I had chosen for the table. Understandable. Upon her returning, she tripped, managing to spill her cup of fairly hot tea all over Ai, a bit of it splashing onto my pale blue blazer. "Oh no! I'm soooo sorry!" the girl said, a First Year named Hana, who was known to be a possessive, jealous type. She didn't sound genuine in her apology in the slightest.

Image"Miss Ai, I apologize. Come, let me show you to our changing rooms, I'm sure we can find something for you to change into. We can't have you stuck in wet clothes now, can we?" I said, helping her up and smiling brightly. I brought her over to the changing rooms, searching as quickly as I could for something simple enough for her to wear. Then I finally found something. It wasn't quite school appropriate per say, but it would have to do. I was from one of our many costume-themed events, and it looked as though it would fit her perfectly.

When she came out of the dressing room, I held my hand to my mouth, suppressing my smile and attempting to hide my cheeks as best I could with one hand, as they were turning quite increasingly pink. She looked so cute! I cleared my throat, attempting to compose myself, though I could feel by the heat of my face that it was still flushed. "Shall we?" I asked nonchalantly, gesturing towards my usual area.

Why am I so flustered? I never get this way! What's wrong with me? She's just in a cute dress! she really does look so cute... Shigure! Get it together, man! You have guests to continue to tend to! I began making my way back towards the couch, Ai close besides me, before sitting down again and rejoining the other ladies, who were all seemingly staring in awe at Ai.

"I've had just about enough of this Host Club... I mean really." Ichiro heard a voice mutter. He'd been leaning behind some lockers, staying out of sight, even though the hallway was empty; he didn't particularly like unwanted interactions. "Chss. Right?" he scoffed, emerging from the "shadows," seeing a rather angry-looking girl walking towards him in the hall. "The Host Club just seems like a waste of time to me, but still, so many people attend it?!" He laughed, bewildered by it. "I've been trying to think of ways to take it down somehow, but it's so damn popular that I can't figure it out." Ichiro sighed, shoving his hands into his pockets.

"Hey, maybe we should team up or somethin' to try to take down the damn useless thing," he chuckled, meaning it as a joke, but at the same time he was also slightly serious about the idea. Maybe this girl was the key to the Host Club's demise...

Kyo took Yuki's sketchbook as he handed it to her, her heart skipping more than a few beats. He was such a talented artist. "Y-yeah, I paint on occasion. I haven't really done anything lately though... I haven't really been feeling too terribly inspired," she said, absorbing the emotion that Yuki's drawing was evoking in her. She felt...happy, but at the same time a little bit sad, but in a good way. "Do you wanna bake an apple pie with me??~" Kyo looked up at Yuki, who was smiling nearly from ear-to-ear, and she could feel her face filling from bottom to top with red. She looked back down at the sketchbook, her face still obviously very flushed. "I-I'd like that a lot!" she smiled, still blushing.

A cute-looking girl came up to the two, no doubt drawn in by Yukio's cute, approachable appearance. Koichi approached them not long after, inquiring about the dessert that Yukio had asked to make with Kyo, a gaggle of girls trailing behind him, all giggling with excitement. Kyo's face was no longer blushing, and she made a pouty lip. She quickly put on a smile, though. "We were going to make an apple pie, I think! Right, Yuki?" she beamed, though she was nearly fuming on the inside. She was finally going to be able to do something special with Yukio, and now a bunch of others were going to be in on it too, but she didn't show that she was upset. She knew she had to stay strong for Yukio; he couldn't know that she was kind of upset over it or he'd get upset too.

Before she could even take in what she was watching someone grabbed her and pulled her into the room. "Now, tell me, my cute little mouse. What has brought you to our illuuuustrious Host Club, my dear?" Tosh didn't say a word, not that she had a chance to. She wasn't given much time to compose herself before he began ranting and raving about nonsense she had no clue about. "Oh, my sweet little mousie. Don't tell me! You're Haruhi's biggest fan, aren't you?? You wish to follow in her little footsteps and be a Host Club member even though you're a female! Not that Haruhi particularly wanted to join the Host Club, but nonetheless, my dear bespectacled little Haruhi worshipper, I humbly accept your wanting to be a Host Club member! Though we will have to a work on your look juuuust a teensy bit while you're hosting, make you look more believable as a male. Thankfully, many of our lovely guests enjoy the company of sweet, cute-looking, even slightly girly men! So you will fit in just perfectly fine, my sweet muse! Our aesthetics team will make sure you appear more believable as a model man when you are here hosting! My adorable little one, we accept you as our newest member! You will be our new 'Natural' Type, continuing to follow in Haruhi's footprints and taking her place, though you will never be able to truly replace her, as I don't think anyone really could if I'm going to be honest with you, just as even I will never be able to genuinely take the place of our dearest Prince Tamaki before me!"

What is he talking about? Who's Haruhi? She straightened her glasses. "I don't know what you are talking about. All I know is that this is a host club, whatever that means, and I thought I did a pretty good job with the whole boy thing." Well except the chest part but she figured that could be done before going to her first class. Whoever this was, he seemed pretty excited about this club and wanted her to join. This means there was a spot open and she would be eligible for her scholarship!

So she agreed and was wisked away to help with her boyish looks. They bound her chest and dressed her a little more masculine and even did a tiny makeup stubble, which she didn't like at all. They wanted to cut her hair a bit more but that was a line they couldn't cross. She stepped out for all to see. Before she knew it the room was flooded with squealing and excited girls who seemed to gather around the other 'hosts' drinking tea and eating tiny snacks. She was somewhat glad she'd been ignored and made her way to a table by the window and pulled out a book. No time to waste, studying was a priority and she already knew which classes she had so she got the books in advance.

xxxx"You may sit with me today if you wish, my dear. I will show you the ways of the Host Club, and you can figure out for yourself if it's something for you, though I'm sure it will be. We are quite popular, you know," It was a reasonable suggestion. The only way for Ai to know if she'd enjoy Host Club was to give it a try. But is the hand holding necessary? she thought, staring back into Shigure's eyes. The dog comparison wasn't over as she pictured a pair of dog ears sprouting from his golden locks. Shigure winked at her but Ai was ever phlegmatic as he led her deeper into the music room to sit down with a group. She was cooperative, sitting down beside the Host Club prince without saying anything but she could feel the intense gazes upon her from his other guests. She wasn't usually the center of attention so when she was, she was very conscious of it. "Miss, would you like some tea?" She carefully reached for the cup offered to her, holding onto it elegantly like she'd done this before. "Thank you." she said softly before taking a sip. She wasn't nervous venturing out of her comfort zone but the tea did manage to soothe her.

xxxxTime passed just like that, sitting down on the couches drinking tea. The Host Club was more relaxed than she imagined. It was just like having a tea party, only with one male host to lead or motivate the conversation. "You're new to Host Club right?" One of the girls sitting with them asked her. "Yes." Ai answered simply. Conversations continued just like that, Ai going along with the flow but giving short responses to any question directed her way. She was polite but she had just met these people. She wasn't going to blurt out her whole life story. Although, some of the girls did their own in an attempt to gain Shigure's interest and attention. Ai's eyes would subtly glance over to Shigure next to her to observe a host in action. He really was like a prince, an energetic one whose battery never run out...

xxxx"Oh no! I'm soooo sorry!" The peacefulness had crumbled because of one girl's 'mishap'. No, you're not. Ai wasn't being cynical. She could have sweatdropped at how obvious the girl's lie was. Her eyes lowered to her clothes that were soaked. She couldn't feel too much of the heat so that was a good thing. If the tea had spilled on exposed skin, it would have hurt and she might not be this calm and collected. "Miss Ai, I apologize. Come, let me show you to our changing rooms, I'm sure we can find something for you to change into. We can't have you stuck in wet clothes now, can we?" Ai held back a sigh, accepting Shigure's gracious offer but quickly, she was dragged to his pace. If Shigure was a dog, then Ai was having difficulty pulling back the leash. It wasn't until she was standing alone in an unfamiliar dressing room with a dress she did not choose for herself, that she released the sigh. Well, it is a Host Club for males. I should be thankful they have something for women in my size to begin with..

xxxxAi exited the dressing room. Although part of her wanted to stay inside until the club was over, Shigure was waiting for her on the other side and she should just get it over with instead of delaying the inevitable. His reaction was... unexpected. Etto.. He looks as happy as Shigure the dog did whenever I set down his pet bowl filled to the brim. "Shall we?" Gazing at Shigure the Host Club prince, that's when she realized her dog never blushed though. ... Huh? Ai wasn't the brightest when it came to understanding boys. She nodded and followed Shigure back to the couch, sitting back where she once sat like nothing had changed. Although, the stares directed at her felt more intense... like she was being burned alive by the sun. Ah, the dress does make me stand out more. she mentally noted about to sip her tea but feeling the cup had gone cold from the time she took to get changed.

xxxx"Ai, you're so quiet.""Talk to us!""How about.. dislikes?" Ai stared at her lap contemplating the question. Unlike the other questions, it wasn't closed-ended requiring a mere yes or no. The girls waited on her, particularly Hana who was the one to think asking about dislikes was a good idea. She thinks I'm stupid, doesn't she? Most people asked about hobbies or interests, not dislikes. It tipped Ai off that Hana was planning to use that information against her. For a moment, she considered passing the question over to Shigure and skipping it entirely. It was his job to entertain the women and surely, they would like to hear him speak more than her but something stirred within her as she clenched one of her hands into a small fist. "I dislike people." She wasn't through, lifting her gaze so her eyeglasses reflected Hana's face solely. "--who try to ruin a good thing for others."

My regular guests seemed to want to push Ai away, not being very welcoming of a newcomer, I guess. I was sitting up straighter than I normally would sit, feeling tense, my hands balled up into fists and resting on my knees. Inside, I was sweating nervously, but thankfully my exterior remained dry. "I dislike people...who try to ruin a good thing for others." I was quite taken aback by Ai's forwardness and bluntness with her statement. I sat quietly, the girls around Ai and myself gasping, probably quite as equally taken aback by her statement as I was.

I poured myself another cup of tea, still sitting very stiff and straight, sipping it quietly, unable to find the words to say in the situation we were in now, very unlike me, if I must say. I was nervous, quite nervous, sitting next to Ai, who quite honestly looked very adorable in the dress I'd put her in and her statement had really caught me off guard. She has continued to surprise me since she arrived at the club. I realized that I was bouncing my leg, something I did whenever I was nervous, which honestly happened not too frequently. I stopped it and continued to sip my tea in silence.

Ichiro wasn't entirely sure what they would be doing with the universal key. What the hell is this chick planning? Can't she lose her position on the Student Counsel pulling some stunt like this? Ichiro thought to himself. "Well, I don't think you should risk your position like that... Maybe..." he paused, his fingers resting on his chin in thought. "I have an idea. We're going to set you up as a guest. Get close to the hosts destroy them from the inside out... There's no better way.[b/] Ichiro had a devious smile across his face, quite proud of his plan, though the girl seemed less than enthusiastic.

[b]"I know it's not ideal, but it's the best way to move forward, I think. And you won't be risking anything but your pride in the process, really,"
he said, shrugging, not thinking too much of it.

Kyo pouted a bit as she made her way over to Yukio, wishing to at least do part of the pie making solely with him, though a couple of other girls came over to his side as well. Hmph. I was so hoping for more time alone with Yuki... She helped them make the filling for the pie, quietly, which was very unlike her. Being quiet wasn't exactly one of her strongest suits. Once the pie was made, it looked really quite nice. It was very cute, the top of it adorned with squiggly lines rather than the traditional straight ones. Yuki's idea, and Kyo just adored it.

"It looks really cute, Yuki! You should be the one to cut the pieces since it was your idea to make it," Kyo said, smiling from nearly ear-to-ear, trying her best to not be upset that so many people had joined in on their baking fun. The pie they had all made turned out quite delicious, but in her opinion, the bottom crust probably could've been a bit thinner than it was, though she wasn't much of one to complain about such little things, especially when Yuki looked so pleased and happy with what they'd made.

xxxxAi looked around as the group of girls gasped at her statement which must have been surprising given her timid exterior. If you react that way, it only makes you more guilty.. she thought, expecting at least one of them to agree with her as something worth dislike. Seems she was wrong. Nobody said anything for a while. The silence was thick with tension that the atmosphere could be cut with a knife. Ai did the honor, noticing the Host Prince was acting out of sorts. "Shigure, are you alright?" she asked, turning to him having spotted his knee bounce. He was also very quiet.. much unlike the Shigure she had gotten to know in this short amount of time. Did his battery run out at last? Ai didn't know he was surprised too because the words were directed at the girls only. She just assumed he was tired. Being a host did seem like a tiresome activity.

xxxxShe extended an arm to reach out to him, her index finger poking the Prince's knee that had bounced before questionably. "Don't touch him!" Hana growled, staring daggers at Ai. Instead of feeling threatened, Ai was confused about why the girls were so protective and hostile to begin with. She hadn't done anything worth hatred as far as she was concerned. It was also just a poke. Ai dared to rest another finger on Shigure's knee, then another and another, watching as the girl's expression grew angrier each time. Huh? Hana was so mad, one could almost see smoke coming out of her nostrils and ears. "That's it! That's it! I can't take it anymore! Shigure, she's new and rude!"

xxxxAi didn't say anything as the girls started discussing Hana's point. She didn't believe she had been rude at all. If anyone, Hana was the rude one. Sigh, I really don't belong here after all. Ai stood up and dusted off her clothes about to voice out that she was leaving but it became chaotic quickly, the girls seeing an opening to sit next to the popular host. "Ack!" she stumbled back, shoved away as the huddle of girls fought for the seat she had abandoned. Ai felt her back hit against someone behind her, her glasses sliding off her nose in the shock and falling to the floor. Her vision was blurry so she couldn't tell whom she had disturbed but she should apologize even if it was not her fault. "I'm sorry.." she said softly, turning around to see who it was. As best as she could see currently anyway.

Hisashi the company of the girls before time was up. They had enjoyed the cake Koichi and Yukio made, Hisashi not really being one to judge any cooking as he lacked the skill to. Yet, he enjoyed it much more as it was made by friends. If he were allowed to call them friends, that is. The girls chatted all the while, only guessing at what Hisashi could be guessing at. All were rather charming guesses, though none of them were particularly true. Soon the girls ate their cake, having many "Goobye!"s and "Thank you, Hisa-kun!"s. He smiled slightly, before noticing a change in mood. Koichi seemed to be tired, a little worn for wear. He quietly stood, seeing as no one would be coming for a while.

He walked over to Koichi's table, his eyes quietly encouraging his fellow Host as he knelt down slightly. Being tall meant the ridiculousness of needing to stoop down to grab things all the time. It would never escape him. He looked at Koichi in the eye, holding out a strong and slim hand. He felt his heart padder a bit harder than usual, he never really considered how Koichi was handsome. Hisashi mentally smacked himself, this was no time to be staring. It was time to help lighten the burden.

"Can I take these plates for you?" His voice came out a bit more honeyed than intended, making his cheeks color a tad. A few of the girls at a different table squealed, looking over.

After reading for what seemed like forever, she never knew how long she'd actually been reading even if it was required reading. She looked up and glanced around the room, everyone was having a great time except there was a small conflict around Shigue. One of the girls had tea on another girl. Tosh rolled her eyes, she never understand jealousy. She watched as Shigue lead to to a room and the girl came back with a new dress on. He was an interesting guy, he had so much energy it made Tosh uncomfortable to even watch him for too long.

She turned her gaze to the rest of the room. Watching each host and their guests. The girls were so happy to be sitting around with their hosts but she didn't get it. The club seemed useless to her, they sat around drinking tea and chatting. However it did give her the scholarship she needed so she was grateful it existed.

Well, I am a host. I guess I should get some tea. She thought as she closed her book and stood from her seat. She tucked the cook under her arm and made her way to the middle of the room, where the tea was. About half way there someone had bumped into her. She put out her arms to try and help balance the person, dropping her book in the process. Once she was balanced the girl turned to her apologizing. It was the girl who had tea spilled on her earlier. Tosh gave her the best smile she could "Don't worry about it." She doesn't do well with being touched but given the cercumstances there wasn't much the girl could do about avoiding the collision.

Tosh found both her book and the girls glasses a little ways away from them. She picked up the glasses first to protect them from getting destroyed and placed them back on the girls face before going back for her book. "Would you like some tea?" she asked slightly unsure of herself on this aspect. It did seem like the girl was leaving but it seemed like the polite thing to do since the club seemed to be about entertaining guests.
