I pushed both doors open to Music Room 3, breathing in its familiar scent. The new school year was starting, and boy, was I excited to get things started with the Host Club! With a new year comes new people, you know, and I just couldn’t wait to meet all of the new guests we would be getting this year. My Host Club members were always the best of the best when it came to entertaining the ladies, though of course not better than the original Host members, as no one could even come close to them, but we do our absolute best to be our absolute best for each other and our esteemed guests. I’m rambling… I walked into the room, brushing my fingertips along the wall, ecstatic to begin the new year. I hadn’t planned any theme for the day, which was honestly unusual, but nonetheless, it would be a wonderful day; I could just feel it.

♫”I come home in the morning light/My mother says when you gonna live your life right/Oh mother dear we're not the fortunate ones/And girls they wanna have fun/Oh girls just want to have fun/The phone rings in the middle of the night/My father yells what you gonna do with your life/Oh daddy dear you know you're still number one/But girls they wanna have fu-”♫ I was dancing about the room, singing my most favourite Cyndi Lauper song, as girls really do just want to have fun, I mean, look at our Host Club, when I was interrupted by more of our members coming into the room. I clapped my hands together in excitement. ”Welcome, my treasured comrades! I’m so happy to have you here! We have a big day ahead of us! We are going to have many, many ladies to entertain, and we must do our finest, finest job to make sure that our guests have the best time that they can possibly have with us!” I smiled big, from ear-to-ear, really.

This was going to be a great year, I could just feel it! And like many Host Club members before them, most of the Hosts had a free first period so that they could set up the Music Room for the day. I was thrilled to be a part of the Host Club, and I had a feeling that this year was going to be very special.

Ichiro shoved his hands into his pockets, sighing as he walked across the grounds towards the front doors of Ouran Academy. It was his first year as a high school student here, and he wasn’t entirely sure how he felt about it. He knew that there was one specific thing that he couldn’t stand. The Host Club. He’d heard about it countless times from overhearing the girls in middle school talking about it and how excited they were to get to be guests when they got to high school. He couldn’t help but roll his eyes, even just at the thought of the Host Club. How can they run such a despicable club? ‘Entertaining the ladies.’ What does that even mean?! How do they have ‘too much time on their hands’ so often?! Don’t they have things like homework or something they need to worry about instead??

Ichiro pushed through the front doors, making a ‘pfft’ sound as he did so, exasperated just thinking about the Host Club. He brushed his hair out of his eyes. I didn’t put quite enough Fekkai hairspray in this morning. My hair is going to be a flop today… I knew I should’ve brought my travel size with me just in case. What a great start to my first day in high school. He sighed, brushing his hair off to the side again. In the midst of his messing with his hair, he managed to bump into someone walking in the opposite direction. It was a cutesy looking boy with snow white hair and reddish eyes. ”Hey. Why don’t you watch where you’re going?” Ichiro huffed.

Kyo skipped into Ouran Academy, excited for the new year. It was April, spring, her favourite time of year. The cherry blossoms were going to start blooming soon, and she couldn’t wait. She loved the way they smelled and how cute the little blossoms looked all over the pretty, light pink trees. She also couldn’t wait to become a guest at the Host Club, and she knew exactly which Host was going to be her absolute favourite. Yukio! He was the cutesy type, and she loved all things cutesy.

As she skipped through the foyer, the noticed Yukio walking towards Music Room 3 when a blonde boy, seemingly preoccupied with his hair, bumped into him. She looked on nervously, hoping that Yukio was okay. Ohmygod. I'm probably staring. Ohno! She could feel her face turning pink and she rushed off to class, not wanting to seem like more of a weirdo than she already was. As she was hurrying down the hallway, she bumped into someone. She recognized her as a member of the student council, Miku Fujiwara! "I-I'm so sorry!" Kyo said hurriedly.

[[OOC: I decided to put Shigure in first person to make him just that much more “extra..” XD All of the other characters should be in third person, like normal. I just thought it would be kind of funny if Shigure was just like Tamaki in how “extra” he tended to be.]]

Well it had finally come; the third year. It had been grueling for Iro these past few years, putting on a brave face and pretending those around him mattered more than they actually did to him. He had formed a close bond with many people but the people seeking his admiration the most often went back to their homes empty handed, not to any fault of their own. You see Iro had no time to think about separating his time when all he could think about was keeping his family happy; His parents proud and his brother satisfied. Iro was more than proud to help his family out while his parents provided the money the family had learned to become so accustom to, but Iro was so tired.

The night before Iro had spent almost all night trying to make sure Satoru had everything he would need for the new year; books, pencils, and headphones when he got bored. This errand trip had kept Iro up until the early morning hours and upon completing his errands, Iro had very little time to deal with his own health. He's an adult, he can take care of himself... But he's never really had to before... What will he do when you're gone..? The debate raged on in the elder brother's mind, knowing well that if something were to happen to Iro then their parents would likely try to hire a nanny again to run their lives. The last caretaker didn't treat the boys as adults so Iro begged his parents to let him take on the duties, he never regretted a single choice he made that day.

It was around that time, time for free period first thing in the morning. So Iro would likely meet up with his family in Music Room 3. As he jostled his guitar, a sunburst Gibson, and shuffled his way down to the room he could hear what sounded like outdated music being sung somewhat off-key. He rounded the corner and saw a few other of the boys waiting outside the door. Amateurs..

He chuckled to himself and gently passed through the others telling them, "Well dont wait for me guys. I know you hang on my every word, but you should feel free to go in by yourselves!" This was his third year in the Host Club, and he had finally come to think of the boys as family because they always made him smile. As Iro pushed open the door the source of the sound was then seen. It wasn't that of a dying critter, but that of the little prince Shigure. Quickly the little one Yukio snuck passed Iro, greeted the prince and went to the kitchen. "You'd think that we'd all be more musically inclined since we have this room," He joked with a warm smile and sat down in a chair within speaking distance of the boys feeling his belly rumble from not eating this morning.

A new school year always held new promises, and this year was no different, especially with the addition of the Host Club to his endless list of things to attempt. He would venture to guess it wouldn't be quite as terrible as the sewing class he took but not quite as successful as his first attempt at flambé, which was still quite the disaster.

He knew the halls in the school quite well now, perhaps as well as he knew the halls of his own home, and had passed by the "unused" music room on many occasions. He had never ventured inside before today, however.

Koichi could hear singing coming from inside Music Room 3. 'That must be Shigure,' he thought to himself, thinking about what he had heard about the other boy. This was Koichi's first real day as a host despite being a third-year student. Even as a third year, he had heard of Shigure Inoue's ostentatious personality. He probably would have never had a desire to join a club like this if it hadn't been for Hiroki, his younger brother.

Quite a few people were gathered outside of the Music Room, a couple even bumping into each other, but Koichi slipped right past them and through the door to gain entrance into the room where he was able to catch the end of Shigure's greeting.

"Hello and good morning. I'm Koichi Tachibana. It's a pleasure to meet you." He gave the other hosts a small wave as he looked around the spacious room, taking in the details of the furniture and finely placed art. He found himself a comfortable spot on one of the couches, just ever so slightly out of the way, and nestled into the cushions quite easily.

Her first year at Ouran Academy, so far it was pretty much the same as her all girls school. She'd gone to the office to do some paperwork and discovered that she would have to join a club by the end of the day in order for her scholarship to be valid. A club. She wasn't the type to join clubs. The woman in the office gave her a list of the school's available clubs, which was nearly a whole page long. Luckily this was a free period so she started on her list. As she walked she tried to blend in. The week before she had cut her hair shorter so she would look more like a guy but not to short that when she was outside of school she wouldn't look like herself. Her guardian, who she calls Ena, thankfully didn't notice much of a change except that her hair was just a little shorter than it used to be. Ena didn't ask many questions about her academics. It isn't like she just ignores Tosh, she just knows that Tosh is a good student so that is one less thing she has to worry about when it comes to Tosh. Quite honestly Ena worries more about Tosh making friends which she does but they are never real friends. According to Ena, friends go to each others homes and study or spend time there. Tosh had never done that. She had been invited but never went and has never invited anyone to her home.

So far she has crossed off half the list in her hand, she started with the clubs she knew she would be interested in but they were full, then she moved on to more nonacademic clubs and so far most of them were full as well. There were only two left, some kind of tech club and The Host Club. What kind if club is that?

She went to visit this tech club to no avail. It was full which meant in order to stay in this school she had to join The Host Club. So she went in search of this club. It was in a strange place, a music room. She stood at the door just staring into the room quietly. Right now there were five others who arrived before her. She just watched from the door. Did she really want to join this club? No. Did she have to for the sake of her education? Yes.

I was more than excited to see all of the familiar faces I knew, and one that I didn't yet, but by the sound of his name, I knew that he was our new "Cool" Type. I welcomed him with open arms, and he made himself at home in no time! I smiled at my little hosts, excited for the others to arrive. I looked around the room and noticed that the door was cracked open just ever so slightly, and I could see little eyes peering in from behind glasses. I pranced over to the door, flinging it wide open, and grabbing the newcomer by the wrist, whisking her into the room. She was a cutie, alright!

"Now, tell me, my cute little mouse. What has brought you to our illuuuustrious Host Club, my dear?" By the look on her face, she seemed overwhelmed by my taking notice of her and bringing her into the room so swiftly and gallantly. I sighed, flicking a piece of hair from my face, clasping my hands together with my eyes closed in an melodramatically exasperated way. "Oh, my sweet little mousie. Don't tell me! You're Haruhi's biggest fan, aren't you?? You wish to follow in her little footsteps and be a Host Club member even though you're a female! Not that Haruhi particularly wanted to join the Host Club, but nonetheless, my dear bespectacled little Haruhi worshipper, I humbly accept your wanting to be a Host Club member! Though we will have to a work on your look juuuust a teensy bit while you're hosting, make you look more believable as a male. Thankfully, many of our lovely guests enjoy the company of sweet, cute-looking, even slightly girly men! So you will fit in just perfectly fine, my sweet muse! Our aesthetics team will make sure you appear more believable as a model man when you are here hosting! My adorable little one, we accept you as our newest member! You will be our new 'Natural' Type, continuing to follow in Haruhi's footprints and taking her place, though you will never be able to truly replace her, as I don't think anyone really could if I'm going to be honest with you, just as even I will never be able to genuinely take the place of our dearest Prince Tamaki before me!" I rambled, draping my arm over my forehead dramatically.

"So, my little muse, are you prepared to take on your esteemed roll as a member of this Host Club??" I asked, grasping both of her hands, my face fairly close to her own; I could feel my eyes sparkling in anticipation.

Hisashi sighed softly, just leaving the bathroom. It was the second time he needed to adjust his chest-binder. His steps echoed down the hall towards Music Room #3. He double-checked to feel that he was flat. Thankfully, he was only a B-cup.

I knew I should've brought my kendo binder... Ah well. After the meeting for the club, I'll change to the girl's uniform and take a break for History. That should be enough time for my ribs.

He smiled softly, satisfied with his plan. Opening the door to the club, he stepped in quietly. Chatter could be heard, disregarding the others outside the door. There was a loud burst from before him, a young lady before a young man. He guessed that the young blonde was Shigure Inoue. But he wouldn't interrupt the moment. He simply stepped to the side, then took a moment to look around. The room was rather large, the windows having the best view. He walked over and looked outside for a moment, getting a bit lost in thought.

He snapped back into reality after a moment. He thought a moment, I ought to find a changing room. After club hours, I could simply change. Hisashi shook his head. He'd worry on that for another time. Hisashi looked over his shoulder, taking the time to look over the others. He didn't know many here. Alas, he'd come to know them in due time. He'd sit down in one of the chairs, quietly enjoying the overall air of the club.

Another year in highschool, another year in Host Club. Satoru had a weird feeling as this would be his last year in Host Club together with his brother. Satoru was glad Iro had made sure he had everything for the new year, as he the thought had barely passed his mind at all. “I wonder how next year will be. I can’t drop out of Host Club, can I? Of course not what a silly thought Satoru. Iro expects me to be there just like he is.” He was waken up from his thoughts when he realized he should already be at the club. He had been heading there whole time but had paused to look out of window that was facing the front gate and all the students, new and old, coming in.

He quickly looked around him seeing he wasn’t too far from the Music Room #3 and speed up his walking but didn’t run. He wasn’t in that much hurry. As he arrived he saw the Prince hurdling over a girl Satoru had never seen before. Perhaps a new guest who couldn’t have waited for the club to officially open? He greeted them both and looked at Shigure. “Don’t start all the fun without me.” He joked a bit and passed them going into room.

He gazed around and saw others were already gathered around the room, but what he was really looking was Iro. As he noticed him, Satoru headed towards him. “Iro, how are you feeling? You look tired. Maybe you should take a nap?” he placed his hand comforting on his shoulder watching him closely. His tone was affectionate as he had always worried for his brother. Of course he had noticed Iro was struggling sometimes, everyone did, but that made him want to help him even more. “I don’t want you to fall ill from exhaustion. Even if I wouldn’t mind taking care of you for a change.” he spoke softly smiling at his brother.

His first day in the Host Club and Hiroki was already running late. This didn't dampen his spirits in the least, however. He was so overjoyed at the opportunity to get dressed up, that he had spent a little too much time on his makeup (he still was not adept enough to put it on very quickly). He now dashed through Ouran Academy's hallways, wearing his favorite lolita coord in shades of baby pink and white, with white stockings and cute pink flats. When he was close to his destination, he stopped to check his reflection in the window and smooth his hair and dress a bit. He never wore a wig, nor breast form, as his goal was not to pass for a woman. He winked at his reflection and then entered the music room at last. His eyes shone with excitement once he saw all the people inside.

"Hello! My name is Hiroki Tachibana! I can't wait to get to know you all~" He gave a little curtsy and then winked at the room at large in a good natured manner.

"There we are!" I said ecstatically as Toshiko came out of the dressing room, where the few Cosmetologists that the Club had on hand had been making her appear more as a male. They had placed a teensy amount of makeup onto her job, making it appear as though she had a bit of stubble, which might have bit a bit over the top, even in my humblest of opinions, and we'd probably need to scrap that during future gatherings of the Host Club. They also bound her chest to make her appear flat and more masculine; this touch I would likely have them continue in the future, otherwise Toshiko's cover might be blown.

I stood inside of Music Room 3, the rest of the Hosts standing behind me but also around me, in a sort of half-circle, surrounding sort of pattern, all of us ready to welcome our guests for the day. I grabbed the door handles and thrust them towards me, into the room, allowing them to rush open dramatically. "Welcome, ladies, to the Ouran Host Club!" I announced with a large smile painting across my face, motioning back to the other Hosts, who were all standing waiting for their guests with smiles that I'd love to believe were all absolutely genuine, though I knew it was difficult for some to put on their happiest of faces. The Hosts began to take their spots around the room, and I gestured for the ladies to enter the room, extending my arm and bowing slightly, my other arm at my waist; I was quite skilled in being gentlemanly.

Once all of the lovely ladies had entered the room, I shut the doors most of the way, leaving them slightly cracked for anyone who might want to join a bit later, as the Club did go on for quite a bit of time. It did tend to take a good amount of time for us to get to each and every one of our guests. I took my seat on one of the long couches, where a few of my regulars were sitting, waiting for me. "I apologize, my sweet ladies, for making you wait, but a Prince does have his duties," I said, sighing as if I were exasperated, and my guests collectively gave an "Awwww!" while one said "You're so thoughtful!" and another swooned with an "Oh, Shigure! You must be exhausted!" while simultaneously offering me a cup of tea. I sighed in appreciation. "Thank you, ladies, thank you. You're all too terribly sweet!" I took the cup of tea from the one girl's hands, a Second Year by the name of Reina, and clasped her delicate hands within my own. "My sweet Reina, you're too kind," I said softly, my face close to hers. "But, please, my dear, don't cater to me. I, as a Host, am here to serve you." The girls around me squealed with delight as usual when I were to say something to heartfelt and caring.

An unfamiliar face entered the room, though I recognized her as a Second Year by the name of "Ai" from what I could vaguely remember, though I could have sworn she usually kept to herself, so I never would have expected her to show up in a place such as the Host Club, where socializing was a huge part of what went on. I stood, excusing myself politely from my guests, and made my way over to the doors, opening them just a bit as to allow for the quiet, seemingly timid girl to enter. "Welcome to the Host Club, my dear lady. I am Shigure, the Host Club's Prince!" I said enthusiastically, motioning
for her to enter the room, though she seemed to react slightly odd to me introducing myself.

Ichiro stood dumbfounded that this new, foreign girl had fallen prety to the Host Club. They've gotten everyone?! he thought to himself, continually more and more disgusted with the Host Club. "I'm Camila, by the way. I never got your name." Ichiro wasn't even sure if he wanted to give her his name, especially if she was going to be associating herself with the Host Club. He wasn't exactly interested in people who wanted to waste their time on such ridiculous, unnecessary things. "Uh, Ichiro," he said rather dryly. "I can't believe you're just another Host Club airhead." With that, he huffed and turned away, walking the opposite way down the hall.

What an absolute joke... he thought to himself. I need to figure out a way to take down the Host Club once and for all. First I need to figure out who else doesn't like the Host Club... Where to start...?

The doors of Music Room 3 opened before her eyes, and Kyo could feel them sparkling with excitement. Shigure greeted them, motioning for the many ladies to enter, a typical Shigure greeting. Kyo smiled brightly as she passe Shigure, practically making a B-line for Yuki, her favourite host, a cup of peppermint tea in her hands, Yuki's favourite. He was just so adorable, and Kyo couldn't help but make goo-goo eyes at him. He was so sweet and thoughtful, and he was truly a quite wonderful artist. Kyo always wondered how he was so talented. She set the cup down before Yuki, smiling ever-so cheerfully. "What're you sketching today, Yuki?" Kyo asked, her hands under her thighs as she sat on the edge of her seat.

Kyo almost couldn't handle how adorable Yukio looked today, and she realized she was staring again. Ohnonono... I'm staring again! Kyo thought to herself, immediately moving her eyes to look down at her knees, her cheeks flushing and turning pink. Ohnono... Yuki probably thinks I'm such a weirdo! I'm so stupid! Yuki was the one person that could make Kyo feel flustered in any way. She was usually very put together and strong-minded. Two of the main things that drew Kyo to Yuki in the first place was his love of art and cute things. Maybe that's why she felt so odd around him. They had things in common, something she couldn't normally find in a boy.

"Ow.. Ow..." Iro mumbled as all of the women flooded in and he hobbled to his spot in Music Room 3. He sat down with a big sigh and looked as the girls scurried around the room. As the waves came in, he couldn't help but notice some new faces that hadn't been with them last year. Many of them first years, but some were classmates of his. His regulars came over and immediately asked why he was hobbling and in pain. "Well it's kind of a funny story, but you cant tell anyone!" Iro hushed the girls in vain over the incredibly chaotic room and leaned in to tell them the story.

Earlier that day

"Get ready to run!" Iro spoke with intermitten laughs in between while holding a small device. Since it was the beginning of the Host Club's sessions Iro wanted to get things started with a bang.... literally. As against the rules as it was, he had decided to smuggle in a medium sized string of firecrackers attached to a sensor. Iro decided he wanted to mess with some of the Cosmetologist club members as they came in to work on Tosh, so he placed the firecrackers in their makeup bag.

When the time came and the students were next to the bag, Iro carefully pressed the button connected to the sensor. A few seconds went by and.. nothing happened. Iro looked up inquisitively from behind his hidey-hole and started frantically pressing the button. The group of boys walked over to the bag as the students left again to get more supplies to cover Tosh's beautiful face, and make it more manly, and one of the boys opened the bag and picked up the string of firecrackers. "It's a dud!" He laughed and bounced it up and down.

"Put that down you idiot, it may still go off." Iro sneered and looked on in shock as the boy threw the firecrackers to another student in the group. Finally the boys threw the fireworks to Iro and Iro, being the fire safe pyromaniac he is, decided not to catch it. Sadly the crackers hit Iro in the leg and connected a circuit that had become loose and started going off. The explosions wrapped around his leg and burned the pants leg slightly. "Run!" Iro yelled and felt the slight singe on his leg, hobbling off to the Host Club's opening, laughing in tears.

Current

"It didn't go as plan, but it's a good story!" He laughed rubbing his leg a bit and took some sour taffy that one of his guests had made for him. He smiled his kind smile and popped the candy into his mouth, Too sour!! I can't spit it out though! Ah! He smiled and swallowed the candy discretely looking up to the door. Hmm. The crowd's pretty sparse today, I wonder if anyone new will come and see me today?
He smiled a slight smile, with very little hope that anyone new will stumble in those doors just for him.

Some of the girls looked at him questioningly, noticing he wasn't his normal overtly confident self. "Are you okay hon?" One asked and Iro smiled a big, but false, smile taking her hands in his.

"Why wouldn't I be? I'm surrounded by the people I care about!" He laughed as the girls swooned. He knew this was a lie, but he had to keep up the facade of an average "host". They each started talking about their own hobbies, but Iro was lost in thought and was only half listening. Of course, why wouldn't I be..?

Hisashi smiled, silently greeting many of the girls with a gentle smile. He extended a hand, holding out a lavender rose.

"Welcome to the Host Club," his voice was warm. Just like how he had practiced with Morinozuka.

He handed one of the roses to a bright, bubbly girl. She squealed, Hisashi guessing she liked the gesture. He lead the girls towards a table, then grabbing a tea set from the kitchen. He served the three girls, silent as he listened to them talk. Finally, one of the girls asked him a question.

"Hisa-senpai, why don't you talk more? You're always quiet."

Hisashi thought on this a while before speaking, "I like listening to others. If I talk too often, I don't get to hear your voice. And your voice is something I wish to cherish, for who knows when I'll ever hear it again."

The girls, naturally, squealed as they gushed over how honest and kind he was. He chuckled a little to himself, as they seemed to talk about their days. He listened well, Hisashi enjoying the chatter and making sure to let them know he was listening. This was how it was with most of the guests that came to visit with him. Many were kind, one even giving him a small bear keychain to show her appreciation of a good chat. He smiled softly, thinking a bit as the girls giggled and chatted.

I'm thankful for this club. I can make others happy, even when I can't be.

"Excuse me a moment, ladies." He stood and went to Yukio. He pulled out the keychain, thinking it might fit Yukio better. He simply held out his hand, the cutesy keychain perfectly fitting in the palm of his hand.

The school day went relatively smooth even for him. First days didn't usually consist of much so he couldn't let himself take much of the credit for his smooth transition into his third year. As the day wore on, his anticipation as his first day as a host grew more and more. He had spent some time getting tips from Kyoya-sensei but he still wasn't sure that he could pull it all off. Still, he stood dutifully there with a smile upon his face as the doors to the club were opened and the guest came pouring in.

Koichi preferred to stand back for a moment and watch the other Hosts at their craft before attempting anything himself. He didn't consider himself particularly intimidating, but he certainly wasn't the friendliest face in the room either.

Even so, it didn't take long for him to be approached by a gaggle of giggling girls. Strength in numbers, he supposed.

"Hello, and welcome to The Host Club, ladies." He did his best not to stumble over the words and let them flow out smooth and sweet as syrup. The girls giggled and awwed, a reaction he genuinely wasn't used to in his social interactions. It caused a small smile to tug at the corners of his lips, a genuine one this time.

He had an ear out for all the other club members and their guests. None of it caught his attention until he heard the words "bake". Cooking and baking were some of his only strengths. Although he failed at most any activities his parents considered appropriate, he was a whiz in the kitchen and, as it was the only thing he was really good at, it was also the only thing he enjoyed.

"Would you ladies care to join me in the kitchen for a little after school dessert?"

'That was smooth, right? Oh god, someone please tell me I'm doing this right.

The girls giggled again and agreed. Koichi led the way over to Yukio. "Were you guys going to bake a cake? Mind if I join you?"

I smiled quite widely at her timidness over being unaware of how the Host Club was to work exactly, thoguh it was to be expected of someone who's first time it was visiting the Hosts. He took her hand gingerly in his own, looking deep into her eyes. "You may sit with me today if you wish, my dear. I will show you the ways of the Host Club, and you can figure out for yourself if it's something for you, though I'm sure it will be. We are quite popular, you know," I said smoothly, giving her a friendly wink as I led her over to my area. A few of the girls shifted over on the couch, allowing us both room as we sat down beside one another. "Miss, would you like some tea?" I asked, offering her a cup.

It wasn't long before everything sort of fell into place; my other guests were surprisingly very welcoming to Ai, not being their usual pretentious selves, and I wondered if they were secretly planning something, but I shook the notion from my head, as my guests were better than that.

About fifteen minutes passed before one of my regulars excused herself, wishing to get herself a cup of tea, wanting something a bit sweeter than the Earl Grey I had chosen for the table. Understandable. Upon her returning, she tripped, managing to spill her cup of fairly hot tea all over Ai, a bit of it splashing onto my pale blue blazer. "Oh no! I'm soooo sorry!" the girl said, a First Year named Hana, who was known to be a possessive, jealous type. She didn't sound genuine in her apology in the slightest.

Image"Miss Ai, I apologize. Come, let me show you to our changing rooms, I'm sure we can find something for you to change into. We can't have you stuck in wet clothes now, can we?" I said, helping her up and smiling brightly. I brought her over to the changing rooms, searching as quickly as I could for something simple enough for her to wear. Then I finally found something. It wasn't quite school appropriate per say, but it would have to do. I was from one of our many costume-themed events, and it looked as though it would fit her perfectly.

When she came out of the dressing room, I held my hand to my mouth, suppressing my smile and attempting to hide my cheeks as best I could with one hand, as they were turning quite increasingly pink. She looked so cute! I cleared my throat, attempting to compose myself, though I could feel by the heat of my face that it was still flushed. "Shall we?" I asked nonchalantly, gesturing towards my usual area.

Why am I so flustered? I never get this way! What's wrong with me? She's just in a cute dress! she really does look so cute... Shigure! Get it together, man! You have guests to continue to tend to! I began making my way back towards the couch, Ai close besides me, before sitting down again and rejoining the other ladies, who were all seemingly staring in awe at Ai.

"I've had just about enough of this Host Club... I mean really." Ichiro heard a voice mutter. He'd been leaning behind some lockers, staying out of sight, even though the hallway was empty; he didn't particularly like unwanted interactions. "Chss. Right?" he scoffed, emerging from the "shadows," seeing a rather angry-looking girl walking towards him in the hall. "The Host Club just seems like a waste of time to me, but still, so many people attend it?!" He laughed, bewildered by it. "I've been trying to think of ways to take it down somehow, but it's so damn popular that I can't figure it out." Ichiro sighed, shoving his hands into his pockets.

"Hey, maybe we should team up or somethin' to try to take down the damn useless thing," he chuckled, meaning it as a joke, but at the same time he was also slightly serious about the idea. Maybe this girl was the key to the Host Club's demise...

Kyo took Yuki's sketchbook as he handed it to her, her heart skipping more than a few beats. He was such a talented artist. "Y-yeah, I paint on occasion. I haven't really done anything lately though... I haven't really been feeling too terribly inspired," she said, absorbing the emotion that Yuki's drawing was evoking in her. She felt...happy, but at the same time a little bit sad, but in a good way. "Do you wanna bake an apple pie with me??~" Kyo looked up at Yuki, who was smiling nearly from ear-to-ear, and she could feel her face filling from bottom to top with red. She looked back down at the sketchbook, her face still obviously very flushed. "I-I'd like that a lot!" she smiled, still blushing.

A cute-looking girl came up to the two, no doubt drawn in by Yukio's cute, approachable appearance. Koichi approached them not long after, inquiring about the dessert that Yukio had asked to make with Kyo, a gaggle of girls trailing behind him, all giggling with excitement. Kyo's face was no longer blushing, and she made a pouty lip. She quickly put on a smile, though. "We were going to make an apple pie, I think! Right, Yuki?" she beamed, though she was nearly fuming on the inside. She was finally going to be able to do something special with Yukio, and now a bunch of others were going to be in on it too, but she didn't show that she was upset. She knew she had to stay strong for Yukio; he couldn't know that she was kind of upset over it or he'd get upset too.

Before she could even take in what she was watching someone grabbed her and pulled her into the room. "Now, tell me, my cute little mouse. What has brought you to our illuuuustrious Host Club, my dear?" Tosh didn't say a word, not that she had a chance to. She wasn't given much time to compose herself before he began ranting and raving about nonsense she had no clue about. You will be our new 'Natural' Type, continuing to follow in Haruhi's footprints and taking her place, though you will never be able to truly replace her, as I don't think anyone really could if I'm going to be honest with you, just as even I will never be able to genuinely take the place of our dearest Prince Tamaki before me!"

What is he talking about? Who's Haruhi? She straightened her glasses. "I don't know what you are talking about. All I know is that this is a host club, whatever that means, and I thought I did a pretty good job with the whole boy thing." Well except the chest part but she figured that could be done before going to her first class. Whoever this was, he seemed pretty excited about this club and wanted her to join. This means there was a spot open and she would be eligible for her scholarship!

So she agreed and was wisked away to help with her boyish looks. They bound her chest and dressed her a little more masculine and even did a tiny makeup stubble, which she didn't like at all. They wanted to cut her hair a bit more but that was a line they couldn't cross. She stepped out for all to see. Before she knew it the room was flooded with squealing and excited girls who seemed to gather around the other 'hosts' drinking tea and eating tiny snacks. She was somewhat glad she'd been ignored and made her way to a table by the window and pulled out a book. No time to waste, studying was a priority and she already knew which classes she had so she got the books in advance.

”Oh. Well, inspiration comes and goes. Sometime I’d really like to see what you’ve made,” Yuki said sweetly as he finished stuffing the colored pencils into his school bag and zipped it up; he laid the bag down on top of the table before leaning over to take back his sketchbook and place it by his school bag.

”Fantastic!” He cheers while pushing his chair into the table. Yukio then holds his hand out to gently take Kyo's hand, helping her up before pushing in her seat for her. As Hisashi approached them Yuki was quick to noticed what he held in his hand. “Awwe! It’s mini Rila-chan! Hehe~” With a spring in his step he gave Hisashi a quick hug before snatching the tiny bear as if he were a dragon and that were his precious little jewel. “Thank you, Hisa-kun.” After examining it for a few seconds with all smiles he set the bigger Rilakkuma on the table while he clips the keychain onto his bag before whipping back around as Koichi inquired about what they would be baking and at that moment he also took notice of a new guest whom he assumed to be a first year.

“Yup! That's right,” he points his index finger up, “but no one gets a bite to eat unless they help.” Yuki states before giving a wink and leading the group into the kitchen. From one of the cabinets he received an apron and a tiny chef’s hat which he then pinned onto Rila-chan’s head. Once he had his apron tied, Yukio began handing out aprons to the others, “Someone look for the recipe. It's in that big cookbook.” He said referring to the book which had to be at least 6 cm thick. It surprised Yukio how fast this one girl found the recipe.
Woah she's a quick one! At most it takes me a few minutes...

“Okay, we’re gonna split into two main teams. Whoever wants to make the crust go over to that side with Miss…?” He paused for the young lady to introduce herself, “...and whoever wants to make the fillin’ stand by me!" Once everyone picked their team he spoke once more, "Alrighty, let's get started shall we?”

When Naoko approached the growing circle she was quick to observe a few things. Her eyes glanced at the albino with the stuffed animal. So his name is Yuki... She then glanced at the quiet and strong Hisashi. That guy there must be Hisa? ...And we're about to bake an apple pie? I can handle this.

She quietly followed into the kitchen with the others. Although she was a little nervous, it wouldn't hold her back from having a good time. When Yukio needed help to find the recipe, Naoko took the big blue cookbook and started flipping through. Just as she could run she could read: fast. In total it took her less than 45 seconds to locate the recipe for Apple Pie. “Found it.”

Naoko looks down at the recipe then looks back up to ask Yukio, “Half of us can make the crust and the other half can make the filling. We would get things done a lot faster that way?” He agreed and then instructed everyone to separate into teams, but she introduced herself as “Naoko” in the middle of the introduction.

Rather startled by a sudden Chss (though not visibly alarmed), Miku stopped and stared emotionless at this guy who just came out of nowhere. For a second she wasn’t sure if she was even in the mood to listen to a single word he had to say, but it only took three words to catch her attention. This guy…
Huh. Well, things are starting to get interesting, aren’t they?

”Shutdown The one of the most popular clubs at Ouran Academy? Is that some kind of joke?” She snickered teasingly as a microscopic smirk gradually grew and her eyes glowed with dimly lit ambition..
“That’s not such a bad idea.”

“If you seriously want to do away with this “club”  we will need to convince the Student Council that The Host-Hooligans are less than beneficial to Ouran. To do that we may have to do some dirty work... Luckily, I have this." From her bag she pulled out a single key on a ring and started to spin it around her finger,“This is a universal key. Only teachers and members of Student Council are allowed to carry this key. Normally I wouldn't take advantage of my privileges, but maybe it will come in handy in sabotaging their reputation.."

Koichi prided himself on his crust-making abilities and was quite relieved at Yukio's directions to split into two teams. The girls that had followed him into followed him as well into the crust station.

His eyes scanned over the recipe quickly, noting what filling the other team would be making. 'That's not quite the flavor I would go for myself... I'm sure they won't mind a little change.

"Now, ladies, we won't be following this recipe exactly. I have my own little plan in mind." He gave a small half-smile. 'Be cool, be cool. Just like Kyoya showed you. Making the crust was simple enough and he certainly could have done it on his own, but he didn't see that being very Host-like. Instead, he gave out directions to the girls, who giggled and attempted to gossip with him the entire time. He didn't know any gossip, never quite caring enough about other people's business to retain the information or pass it along.

The girls did rather well following the directions, certainly better than he expected at least. If the crust was a little too thick in some places and rather thin in others, it was all expected during a first attempt. Overall he found himself rather pleased at his ability to dictate the steps to others to form a relatively good finished product.

Despite being naturally aloof, he couldn't help but feel slightly ignored by the others. He took his slice of pie and returned to a corner of the main room to eat in silence. 'That's fine,'
he thought, 'Leaves me less to worry about anyway.'

Of course the girls joined him soon after getting their own slices, and it wasn't until then that he truly thought the Host Club may not be for him. It was overwhelming to be unable to escape them to be alone with his thoughts and recharge his energy. 'How does anyone stand it?'

Hisashi the company of the girls before time was up. They had enjoyed the cake Koichi and Yukio made, Hisashi not really being one to judge any cooking as he lacked the skill to. Yet, he enjoyed it much more as it was made by friends. If he were allowed to call them friends, that is. The girls chatted all the while, only guessing at what Hisashi could be guessing at. All were rather charming guesses, though none of them were particularly true. Soon the girls ate their cake, having many "Goobye!"s and "Thank you, Hisa-kun!"s. He smiled slightly, before noticing a change in mood. Koichi seemed to be tired, a little worn for wear. He quietly stood, seeing as no one would be coming for a while.

He walked over to Koichi's table, his eyes quietly encouraging his fellow Host as he knelt down slightly. Being tall meant the ridiculousness of needing to stoop down to grab things all the time. It would never escape him. He looked at Koichi in the eye, holding out a strong and slim hand. He felt his heart padder a bit harder than usual, he never really considered how Koichi was handsome. Hisashi mentally smacked himself, this was no time to be staring. It was time to help lighten the burden.

"Can I take these plates for you?" His voice came out a bit more honeyed than intended, making his cheeks color a tad. A few of the girls at a different table squealed, looking over.
