They had made their pitch to the best of their persuading ability which was generally where the mind control came in handy, but she had died too. Physical force was by no-means an option. Despite how tempted Darren may have been. The three remaining from the last massacre; Raven, Sebastian and Darren did not specialize in persuasion or public speeches or any leadership kind of role. They were clunky with their new yet essential responsibility. But they so desperately needed the remaining gifted to come together to increase all their chances of survival. For if they were alone, they would be easy pickings to the government and worse, Dreadiers and Valkskins. So after every visit, they left remote coordinates for the kids to decide.

The modern stronghold waited for its new guests. Sebastian and Darren likewise, waited for the next generation to show in the middle of the large empty room. As each minute ticked by they grew more and more doubtful. Darren was the first to speak his mind. "Not one of them," he commented, distaste at the tip of his tongue. "Well I'm going to enjoy experiencing death again." Darren turned on his heel to leave. Sebastian glanced at him. "You're pessimism is unappreciated" he retorted. Though he too, worried that it may have been their fate to re-suffer. He didn't need to know the kids personally for his heart to sink at the thought of them going about their regular business then being snatched and torn up by the creatures that had a special nose for gifted.

Sebastian released a defeated sigh but maintained his post.

Thea wasn't aware of the time, she was sitting on a park bench sketching away on her large notebook. The only thing that gave her any indication that time was passing was the occasional leave that dropped onto her page. Today was was dragging a murder scene. There was a dead body laying ripped open the in the middle and everyone else's faces were twisted in looks of shock and horror. Though the thing that made the drawing truly creepy were the occasional people Thea drew, who liked like the were enjoying the scene ever so slightly.

Whilst drawing away Thea's thoughts fell to the co-ordinates and the scrap of paper in her back pocket. The place was less than a block from the park she was currently in. She had checked it out earlier, it looked pretty normal from the outside. It wasn't as if she had choice, she had no money and no where else to go. So she'd go, she was just waiting. Putting it off, she didn't know why, she just knew she didn't want to go just yet.

A police Siren whizzing past her, drew Thea out of her thought with a start. Out of instinct she slammed her notebook closed and jumped up from the bench. Though when she realised it was just a police car driving past, she relaxed a little. That was when she notice the layer of frost that covered all the greenery within a metre of her. The leaves were all front over as was the grass. She plucked a leave from the tree over her and wiped at the frost. She struggled controlling her ability, but truthfully, she still couldn't believe it was her doing all this. She noticed he shadows had gotten significantly longer since she had sat down and she decided it was now or never, so she reluctantly made her way to the co-ordinates she had been given. Her note book tucked under her arm and her bulging backpack on her back, full to the brim with everything she owned.

She entered the facility and found herself in a giant empty room with three people watching her, she felt like she was on show and she did not enjoy it. "You, told me to come?" She asked bluntly holding out the scrap of paper with the co-ordinates. She looked past them and let her glassy eyes study the large building, completely ignoring the three strangers watching her. Thea tended to do that, ignore things that made her uncomfortable, and strangers? They were at the top of the list of things that made her uncomfortable. "Well, I'm here. Is there supposed to be others?"

The journey there was more daunting than she imagined. She expected a little to and fro'ing in her own mind about leaving home for this vague quest that was apparently going to help things get better. Reduce her headaches and so on, but the coordinates were more remote than she visualized. Charlotte kept expecting an ambush of some kind. Even within the vacant building, she felt her footsteps were too heavy and too loud, as if it were a giant's foot placing one in front of the other, announcing their presence.

Charlotte stepped into the room where there were others. Others like herself, to her very limited understanding. Though they looked normal. Having considered that, she looked normal too, if not slightly sleep deprived. What was she expecting, magic auras clouding each of them? Charlotte stood near the blonde but at a respectable stranger distance. Charlotte wanted to show her own, 'here, here' to the blonde's attitude and queries. If they hoped for some stare down, they'd get it. She eyed the three carefully, at least one looking familiar from knocking on her door one day. This time, they looked burdened and ran down.
"You said you'd help both advance and tame my abilities," she chimed. She looked back to the blonde around her age and held out her hand, probably appearing somewhat schizophrenic or to hold ADD. Charlotte imagined them to be in something of the same boat so there was no need to be rude to her or lack acknowledgement. Besides, if she interpreted the important recruitment speech right, they'd get to know each other at one point or another anyway. "Hi. I'm Charlotte by the way."

In all honesty, Raven had to admit to herself that she was a little nervous. Feeling death definitely wasn't fun, so she hoped the youngsters were going to show up, especially if they valued their precious little lives. She was going to feel like she wanted to mother them, and protect them at all costs. "Well I'm going to enjoy experiencing death again." Raven looked over to Darren. "Dramatic as ever I see. I have faith that they'll come." Faith prevailed too, because two of them had turned up. Two blonde girls. A welcoming warm smile appeared on Raven's face. "Told you." She quietly stated to both men.

Raven loved their inquisitiveness, it reminded her of herself when she was younger, trying to contain her own abilities which seemed almost impossible at the time. She was going to let Sebastian speak, and remain in the background for now. Shockingly, she was laid back this morning. Raven folded her arms in a chilled stance, waiting to see what was going to happen next, and if anymore of the other gifted were going to show up.

"Woah woah, what am I doing?" RJ said aloud to himself as he stopped in his tracks several blocks from the area he was heading towards. He shoved the letter he received the other day with the meeting location back into his pocket, suddenly regretting his decision to meet these strangers. How did these people track him down? And if they were really trying to help why not just show themselves from the start instead of setting up some mysterious meeting that felt more like a trap than anything else.
After a few minutes of hesitation RJ decided to just keep heading towards the meeting spot.

When he was only a few blocks away he'd stop and stare back and forth from a roof to a group of trees a few times before holding out his arm in the direction of trees. He focused his energy on the biggest tree until it lifted up from off the ground and fell back against the wall of the building with a noticeable thud.
"Damn I'm good!" he said, seconds before the other two trees unexpectedly splintered and fell to the ground - causing him to have to quickly run up the tree leaning against the building and onto the roof to avoid the falling debris.
"I meant to do that dammit!" he spat, before continuing in the direction of the meeting spot via the roof. He liked the idea of having a viewpoint advantage over whoever, or whatever, he was meeting here.

Five or so minutes after the debacle with the trees RJ was nearing the edge of the roof, and subsequently the meeting location. It was a flat roof with no fence-like structure at all so squatting was completely pointless but he still did, and moved slowly until reaching the edge, where he'd spot a group of people. They all appeared to be around his age and none gave off the vibe of a government agent - something RJ had gotten pretty good at detecting. More importantly than that however was the fact that there weren't any Dreadiers or Valksins in sight.

"Hi. I'm Charlotte by the way" he barely heard the dirty blonde say before holding her hand out towards another blonde standing beside her.
"Okay they're definitely not the feds" he thought, before slinging his legs over the edge of the roof. He was pretty sure these guys weren't enemies but he still felt more comfortable sitting up on the edge of the roof, so he'd stay put.
"Nice place for a get together. All that's missing are some mood lights and rose pedals" he called out before a shit-eating grin appeared on his face. He seemed to not be taking the situation seriously, but he was, he always took his safety seriously. Humor was just the comfort zone he was going to stay in as he tried to get a better read on the situation and the strangers before him.
