Alter Ego: Astral
Age: 16
Appearance:
She has medium dark brown hair and crystalline blue eyes. Juliet stands at about 5'5" and weighs around 110 pounds. Because of her weight and lack of muscle she's quite frail and easy to damage physically, though she hates that fact. Juliet normally wears hoodies that are excessively large and other casual clothing. She can generally get quite unhealthy at times, especially when her astral form is constantly detaching from her body, making it so that she doesn't get enough food and gets too much sleep. She still keeps an adequate complexion though, and looks like a normal teenager, if just a bit unhealthier.

Powers/Abilities:
Astral Prjoection.
Through meditation, sleep, or anything that leaves her body unconscious, or close enough to it, Juliet can take on an astral form, detaching from her body. In this form, she's invisible to the common eye and can observe others without them knowing. In her astral form she's intangible, thus she can phase through objects and people. Through practice, she may be able to affect physical objects around her while in her astral form. In this form, she can levitate. Juliet can also enter an astral plane, which as of now is empty, but dark and light entities may be lurking inside of it, she still needs practice entering the plane though, and most of the time she only enters accidentally.
Her astral abilities also have offensive capabilities, though they need much more practice. She can possess the body of others, taking control of their functions, though the conscious of the body she's inhabiting, if strong enough, can push her out. Not only that, but she can persuade people by whispering messages into a persons ear, tricking them into thinking it's their own thoughts if done correctly.
However, though there are positive sides to her powers, there are negatives and limitations as well. A limitation to her power is that when her astral form detaches from her physical form, her body is immune to physical harm and danger seeing as it's practically without a mind. Occasionally, she can't control when her astral form detaches from her physical body, usually during sleep.
Personality:
Juliet is a calm and collected young woman. She tends to think on a more rational and intellectual sense. She enjoys working with and solving puzzles, always wanting to keep on focus, there's always a danger that if she daydreams or blanks out that her astral form will detach from her body. She enjoys the company of her fellow Titans, even though she enjoys taking a more quiet, observing stance instead of a more outgoing one. She feels as though they can help each other because they've all probably gone through problems similar to one another, whether they want to say so or not. She is also an extremely determined girl, stopping at no lengths to do what she thinks she has to, even if she's about to die trying. All in all, she's a pretty maintained person, on the outside at least.
Juliet can have her times where she's not as strong as she likes to be, or to portray herself that is. She frequently over exerts herself and finds flaws and inadequacies in herself, and blames herself when things go wrong, even if there was nothing she could do to help. Basically, she has a pretty low self esteem. Because of this, she always wants to improve and better herself, for everyone's, and her own sake. However, she tends to not share her feelings and grief with the others, not wanting them to pity her, even if she wants someone to help her badly.
Equipment:
Juliet always carries things she can work with her hands, that also exercise her brain, such as Rubicks Cubes. She carries a taser and pepper spray for self defense, though she knows they probably won't do much.
History:
Juliet thought she lived a normal life, because it was pretty normal, she had two parents who had a stable income, and they lived in a good area, though there were many pretentious people. However, when she got older things started changing. Children began spreading rumours on a wider, more vindictive scale around this age, and for the most part, Juliet survived them. But again, things changed when she got to high school.
The 'popular girls' in school were notorious for throwing intensely fun parties, but at the same time they were known for spreading deadly rumours that could make your life a living hell. Juliet was for some reason invited to one of their parties, for reasons she didn't know why. She wasn't exactly anyone of social status, she tended to stay away from cliques and things like that and primarily kept to herself, with a few friends. But it wasn't like she was going to reject them, doing that could definitely give them thoughts of destroying her life.
The party was loud, crazy, there were tons of people everywhere and a lot of drinking. Though she was drinking, and enjoying it, she wasn't fond of the giant crowd. So, she decided to leave, go into a room and relax for a while. After stumbling into a few rooms that were a bit too intimate for her comfort, she finally found an empty room to calm down. She could relax, the intoxication of all the alcohol causing her to get woozy. Unfortunately, this is when she first experienced her powers. Her astral form detached from her body, leaving her body vulnerable on the bed. Obviously, someone took advantage of this. Juliet didn't know what was going on, she thought she had to be dreaming, but this was too vivid...too horrifying. She screamed all she could, but nobody could hear, she was forced to watch herself get raped and she couldn't stop it from happening, and she hated herself for that.
Once it was all over she saw people discover her, the rapist probably telling his friends about what he did. There was so much laughter, it was as if they thought it was a joke. They said that she deserved it, that it was what she got for drinking so much, at least that's what the popular girls said, and everyone followed. She was only fourteen, had been raped. She looked for comfort, for help, but she was turned down, she was a slut they said, she wanted it they said. Comments were sent to her on every social media site, texts sent to her on her phone, all about how much of a slut she was. Her life took a turn for the worse...but all she wanted was revenge...and her newfound powers could give her that.
First it was the popular girls. She used her powers to spy on them, reveal their every secret, destroy their lives, their statuses. As much as she wanted to kill them she couldn't bring herself to it, though it may have been because her powers weren't exactly that offensive. But there was still the man who raped her. He...he would die. She couldn't find him though, he didn't go to their school, or live close to her for that matter. He had eluded her grasp, and her bloodlust turned into depression.
Finally, when she was fifteen, she and her parents finally moved away from that area, her parents knowing the strife her school was putting her through. Soon they ended up in Hillcrest when her family went through a financial crisis. It was a horrible place but Juliet thought it was better than her old home, for the time being anyways. She continued her life normally in Hillcrest, until she enrolled in one of its schools, where she saw her rapist. She knew it was him, it was impossible for her to forget. But he didn't remember her, or so she thought. Apparently he was part of a major gang, and he certainly remembered her, he just wanted to have more with his friends.
He followed her home one day with some of his gang members. They broke into her house and brutally murdered her parents, consequently raping her again, taking turns with her body. She forced her astral form out of her body, wanting to escape the pain, and that was the first time she ever possessed someone. Her astral form went out of her body and into her rapists, taking control of him she wasn't sure what was going on, but rolled with it. She used a gun he had in his pocket to kill his gang members, but when she was finally going to get to him, he shoved her out, and escaped, causing her to feel more regret and guilt, she knew it was because she hesitated...she hesitated to kill him...
So, she began fighting crime, wanting to do everything in her power to stop things like that happening to anyone else, and to finally get closure for what that man did to her. Since she started fighting crime she began leading a better lifestyle, and began to cope with what happened to her.
