Eiko Winters

Music's the only thing that speaks to me. It can touch my heart and opens the gateway for me to touch others.

0 · 653 views · located in Taketori City

a character in “The Night's Dance”, as played by Eiko B. Winters

Description

"If you were to ask why I love music, well it's the same as asking why you love breathing. Music is a part of me, it's my passion, my true love. Music is what keeps me standing, and I'm not going to give something so precious up."

Name: Eiko Winters
"My name means peace in Japanese. I love my name!"

Age:16
"Well, I am in Highschool after all!"

Gender: Female
"Tomboy all the way, though!"

Role: Girl 2
"Loyal member to the team...unless they piss me off"

Theme Song: Dear (Super Sonico)
"I miss my sister so much. I would give anything to see her again."

Personality: Eiko is an outgoing person, constantly taking things to extreme and always going the hard way just to get a little adventure. She has a bit of a punk style, not following rules and doing things her own way. She's reckless and immature at times, but knows when to be serious. She has quiet the mouth on her, speaking her mind as she sees fit and doesn't care what people think. She's creative. It's rare you ever see her without a guitar. When in a difficult situation, she chosen to leave herself to her IPod, her favourite bands include Three Days Grace, Green Day, RED, and Sleeping with Sirens. She's also a natural born Otaku, and would rather watch an Anime Marathon than interact with people.
"I may be immature, but at least I know how to have fun!"

Appearance: Image
"Cute, huh!"

History: Eiko never really cared much for her parents, as they never approved of her being a musician and wanted her to focus on an athletic field. However, her older sister and her were as close as close can be. They would often go exploring together and her sister would gladly listen to her music. They were best friends. Her sister even gave Eiko her guitar as a 10th birthday present. She got into punk music when she was thirteen and started playing it. She formed a band with her friends at school, and they were known as "Neon Wings". Her band got invited to play the highschool dance, an offer they couldn't refuse. However, right before they started playing, a mysterious man appeared, along with an eerie yet beautiful song out of nowhere. He asked her sister (who is a Highschool senior at the dance to encourage Eiko) to dance. Eiko couldn't help but stare as they danced around the room. It was so mesmerizing, she just couldn't turn away. A few days later, her sister disappeared, and she was left heartbroken. She didn't want anyone else to lose someone they love, so she decided she would catch this man before anyone else disappears.
"My sis is awesome. Not as awesome as me, but a close second"

What drew you into investigating the mystery?:To prevent anyone else from losing the people they love
"No one in this world deserves to be alone"

RP Sample: Eiko tuned up her guitar before standing up on the stage, the entire highschool watching her and her friends stand up there proudly, heads held high and huge smiles plastered on there face. Eiko took the microphone, loudly and clearly, announced her name.

"Hey! Why so quiet! Can we get some cheering?" The whole room erupted in screams of excitement. "Now that's more like it. Well, without wasting any time, we're Neon Wing!" Cheering got louder as the other two raised there hands and waved. Eiko laughed, raising her hand in the arm in union with the other two, and saying there catchphrase loudly. "Let's Fly!" And then, everyone copied, screaming "Lets Fly!!" Loudly, echoing though the room in an excited fee. Eiko then tapped the microphone to silence the room.

M'kay! Time to get this show on the road!" Her figures danced across the strings on the guitar, falling in sink with the drums and keyboard, as Eiko opened her mouth and started to sing.

"Ahh, there's nothing to do again today, huh?"

A figure was saying, in a very bored tone. A boy, who looked as if he was 16 years old leaned against a seat in the theater. He was looking up at the ceiling, that no one could see his face, unless they looked at him from the back. He snapped forward, strands of pale blonde hair flying forward as a black hood soon came to cover his head. "So boring in here. It's almost maddening." He kicked off, landing on his feet and starting to walk around. The guardians were patrolling, anyway, so--

Wait. The guardians were patrolling.

"That means the barrier's not up!" He thought as he looked at the doors. They weren't there. Grinning, he focused himself and, in a cloud of darkness, he disappeared from inside the theater and reappeared outside. He smirked. "Score for Yurasaki." He then dug around in his jacket pockets and took out a black spray can, grinning at the glare that the full moon gave it. "Today may not be as boring as I thought." Yoru whispered to himself as he ran away from the theater before any of the Spirit Guardians found him.

"Just another day for the black sheep of the Hayashi family."

Tsubaki thought as she finished packing the numerous crayons scattered around the room into the old toolbox that they now used as a crayon case of some sorts. She wiped some sweat off her brow, and looked at the sleeping child on the table. She sighed and poked the little girl a few times. "Hana. Hana. Wake up." The girl muttered something- gibberish, Tsubaki had thought- and then said, "Five more minutes."

"You've been asleep for 20 minutes and counting, and if you don't wake up soon, you'll miss the lights." The girl immediately sat up, rubbing her eyes. "Onee-chan.." Tsubaki crossed her arms over her chest and sighed. "They appear at 9:30, right?" Hana nodded enthusiastically. "Let's go to my room. I have a better view in my window." The little girl leaped off her chair and started trotting up the stairs, nearly tripping. Tsubaki caught her and lifted her bridal style, smirking as the girl laughed sweetly.

She placed Hana down on the armchair she had conveniently placed near the window so she could read and look at the sky and think all at the same time. As Hana looked out the window, she walked over to the fridge in her room. Since she barely went out except for school, most of the normal things she needed was there, in her room. Fridge, food, a small kitchen, hell, she even had her own bathroom. Bookshelves were lined on one side, and near her bed sat a few plushies and dolls Hana was learning to make. Her computer- used for research- was also at one corner, near the bookshelves. Digging around in the fridge, she pulled out a small red and white bottle, and another, a can of soda. The soda was for her, of course, since she was warned not to let Hana drink the "acid". Milk was for the little girl sitting at her armchair, since Hana had told her, "I wanna be as tall as Onee-chan!" and she knew that she also liked milk since it was creamy and cool.

She walked over to Hana and handed the red and white bottle to her, opening the can after lifting Hana and letting the child sit in her lap. The younger one took small sips from the creamy milk while Tsubaki took swigs from the can. "Look! Look, Onee-chan! It's there!" Hana pointed at the fireflies that started coming up. They looked like snow falling from the sky, except they were going up. She smiled softly. It was calming to her, how they went up. Like her spirits, when she was pumped up to fight.

When the light show ended, Hana had fallen asleep. Tsubaki carried her again, put the half-finished bottle of milk away, and brought her back to her room. After tucking the little girl in and slipping a teddy bear into her arms, she went back to her room and looked out the window.

"That light show got my spirits up, so.."

She stretched and went to the corner, booting up her computer and quickly sending all her groupmates for the thesis e-mails, each containing the same message.

"Hey, it's me, Tsubaki. You feel like coming over tomorrow, after school? Let's discuss the subject of our thesis and see what information we gathered." She leaned back and waited for the replies, looking at the full moon.

"Let's see what the night brings, and if you come again, Mr. Spirit Dancer." She dared.

Kyon stood at the edge of the curb checking his watch, it had been a long day at work and if one more cubical worker called him Xerox he might snapped. 'Ungrateful ignorant pigs' thoughts similar to the preceding one filtered through is overworked mind. After picking up a 5 hour shift with a business after school he was ready to collapse on his bed. Obviously there were still things to be done, but the impatience was beginning to add more exhaustion to his mental state. The Mitizizumi boy couldn't remember the last time he had a cup of tea and just rested after school. A slight mumble to himself, "One, two, no mom and I argued that time, three." Coming to the conclusion that it had been at least 3 years since the last time he'd relaxed and had a cup of tea.

A hiss of air filled his ears as the bus doors swung open in front of him. "Getting on?" All Kyon could offer to the driver was a simple nod, and the scanning of a bus pass. A reassuring beep came from the register, and before Kyon was even seated the bus was in motion again. 'Thank whoever it is up there for bus passes' a quiet sigh left his mouth as took a seat. Sliding all the way to the wall, Kyon rested his head on the window.

"Stop that Kyon, you need to socialize" Kogme Mitizizumi was a stern woman when it came to socialization, and it seemed as if he did everything in his power to agitate that.

"I will not go out to see those uncultured imbeciles." A thirteen year old Kyon sat proudly at his desk, immersed in his studies. The rest of the memory was his mother calling him names, and making fun of his intelligence. The thing that pierced him the most was the last thing she said.

"You will die alone"

"Last stop kid, your apartment complex correct?" The driver was standing from his seat and stretching. The only one who generally took the bus out this far was Kyon and a few other independent students. During the ride, Kyon must have fallen asleep because he was now at his building. With a quick nod, he'd leave the bus and move to the building. In this building there was no buzz in feature, the doors only had locks. If you knew what was good for you, it'd be common sense to keep it locked and not leave the room from midnight until 5 am.

So, Kyon finally made it into his apartment. Inside was only a few objects, and immediately he found his computer. Checking his email was priority, and inside was an email from Tsubaki Hayashi. Kyon replied to all in the affirmative and shut the computer off, finally heading to bed.

Sure, I'll need an address though. How long are we thinking?

-Kyon

After running for what seemed like an hour, Amiya and the boy found an alleyway to hide from the odd prescence.
"We should be safe here..."
Her phone buzzed and she saw that she had two e-mails. One from Tsubaki Hayashi and the other from Kyon Mitzizumi. Her eyes widened when she saw those names.
"Ah, sorry but I have to check these out..."
Amiya checked out Tsubaki's e-mail first.

"Hey, it's me, Tsubaki. You feel like coming over tomorrow, after school? Let's discuss the subject of our thesis and see what information we gathered."
Amiya smiled a bit. She always regarded Tsubaki as a second mom and admired how she stood up for herself. Amiya then checked out Kyon's e-mail.
"Sure, I'll need an address though. How long are we thinking?

-Kyon"

Amiya giggled a bit. Kyon was as blunt as ever. She always thought Kyon hated her and just never spoke it aloud. The sick part was that Amiya was okay with being hated. As long as she was remembered, she was okay with all opinions of her. Amiya thought about her response a bit before typing it out.
"Hi, Tsubaki-chan, Kyon-kun, Eiko-chan, Takamori-kun, Misaki-chan, Kiyone-chan~
I'd be okay to stay however long it takes and wherever we decide to go. My mom and dad are out on a buisness trip... again... Ah, but I'm okay with it! Ehehe~ But if we do stay at my place, please be gentle with the house. I don't want them to be mad at me for cracks in the wall. Thanks~
Love you all~
Amiya"

Amiya pressed send and the message was delivered instantly. Amiya then remembered the boy with pale blonde hair was still there.
"Sorry. A bunch of friends and I are doing a thesis and we were just confirming a meeting place. Are you going to be okay? I could help you get home if you want."

Laying flat on her back, staring at the ceiling above, while wasn't at all exciting, was all Eiko could think to do at that moment. The window by her bed was wide opened, revealing the bright stars and letting in the cool breeze, blowing back her curtains and causing all her drawings and lyric sheets to scatter across the room. She didn't care. Her room was a mess anyway. The moonlight shined down on her face to make the only light in this otherwise dark room, beams of light hitting all corners of her room, reflecting off the red and black guitar leaning against her bed.

Eiko sighed and turned over on her back, letting her red hair fly across the pillow. The who house was silent and it annoyed her to no end. Sighing in boredom, yet again, she finally rose from her bedside, taking a look out the window before she took her guitar by the straps attached and threw it across her shoulders.

"Onne-chan would be proud" She mumbled, rememdering all the times her and her sister had snuck out of the house at midnight.

Eiko tossed her legs over the window sil, stretching her arm as far as she could to grab onto the nearby tree branch. Taking hold of it tightly, she jumped, dangling on the beach before she let go and fell to the next, and the next, till she was abruptly on the ground with only a few scratches.

She smiled at herself in pride, then taking notice to the lights in the sky. Her nose scrunched up and she grimaced.

"damn night dancer"

Running out of the gates of her house, she walked slowly into town. Instead of going to her old tree house in the woods (which was her original plan) she decided to do a little bit of investigating.

Eiko was standing by an old street light. The wind was wild that night, so it blew her hair back quiet wildly. The moon was bright and the stars were scattered all over the clear sky. Fireflies were everywhere, buzzing around and occasionally landing on Eiko's shoulder. She didn't mind though. In her hand she held the notebook which contained the notes she had gathered for the investigation. Most of it were the recent crimes relating to common Night Dancers schemes.

In her other hand, she was checking the text on her phone.

"Hey, it's me, Tsubaki. You feel like coming over tomorrow, after school? Let's discuss the subject of our thesis and see what information we gathered."

She smiled, running her fingers over the keyboard to reply "Sounds like a plan! See you then, Tsubaki-chan!

It was getting really late, and she guessed that tomorrow was going to be a long day, so she would need her sleep. But not wanting to go home just yet, she walked across the street to the nearby park. She looked around, seeing it empty gave her a little bit of an uneasy feeling, but at the same time comfortable, as screaming kids often annoyed her. She loved the swings more than anything, so it was easy to tell where she was headed.

Instead of pushing off immediately, she unwrapped her guitar from her shoulder, placing it on her lap and putting her fingers on the strings.

Though it may be odd, but whenever Eiko was feeling anything, happiness, sadness, fear, she would play. It's her was of showing her emotions in a unique way. And with no one here to hear her, along with the shimmering moonlight hitting the park, it was perfect.

Eiko, time to wake up!

Eiko's eyes fluttered open softly, so meet the stern eyes of her mother, who was currently shaking her violently. She glared, sitting up and running a hand threw her hair, not listening to her mother's annoying rant over waking up on time and some other useless crap. Finally, her mother left the room, leaving Eiko to sit there for the next few minutes before looking over to the clock.

6:57

"Holly-! She cursed, jumping out of bed and running to her closet, then realizing she had fallen asleep in her uniform. Her hair was a mess, but she honestly didn't care. Grabbing her backpack and guitar, she bolted out of the room, passing though the kitchen and grabbing and fresh muffin off the counter and stuffing it in her mouth in one bite.

Luckily the school was rather close to her house, so she got there with seconds to spare. She was running though the halls, ignoring the glares of people and the yells of teachers.

"Oi! Eiko-sempi!" Eiko heard calling. She turned and waves to her blue haired friend, but didn't stop as she had somone to find and virtually no time till school starts.

She spotted Tsubaki and Amiya up ahead and waved. She stopped running once she was in front of them, but at that moment all the exhaustion of running the 3/4th mile between her house and school caught up to her, and she breathed heavily, resting her hands on her knees.

"Good morning Tsubaki-chan, Ami-chan" she said as she panted. Tsubaki and Amiya look at her with concern.

"late again" She said, seeing the two nodded as they knew Eiko was often late.

Yoru had started running back home before any of the Spirit Guardians- No, he wasn't gonna let them find him this time- and reached the the theater, panting as he had suddenly had an outburst at Siren and he transformed himself into a cat. Of course his legs were aching from all that running as his figure started to change, turning from a cat into his real figure as he stumbled into the theater. His black hood was blown back by a gust of air as he practically heaved his tired- and slightly battered and bruised- body to the door. He didn't even bother completing his transformation so a pair of cat ears stood up straight and proud from his head and a tail was swaying stiffly behind him. He kicked the door open, letting the others still in the theater hear it. So that they knew that the Spirit Dancer was back, and he wasn't in much of a good mood.

The tired boy practically collapsed as he entered. He even barely managed a "I'm back" to the others in the theater. Shutting the doors behind him he started to enter one of the larger rooms, and as he did, he noticed two of his prisoners, and Liberia. He rolled his eyes. "Great." He muttered. "I just got back from the other spirits half-torturing me based on a false accusation, and now I have to deal with her."

Tsubaki sighed at Eiko's tardiness. "Yep, definitely late again." The rest of the day in her classroom was pretty much boring- only the loud voice of her teacher kept her awake. She even nearly fell asleep but her seatmate shook her awake, nearly landing her in trouble with the teacher. "I'll have to pay her back." She made a mental note to herself. During her free time, she went back to her research. Some of the rumors about the Spirit Dancer made no sense to her or looked pretty much cliche, so she sighed in frustration. "Damn these rumors. I'm not getting any information with this."

As the bell rung for them to leave, Tsubaki started packing up her things and preparing her mind for tons of people in her room later. Misaki couldn't come, though, so she decided she'll tell her when she comes around. If she doesn't, then she'd e-mail her. Hopefully the girl would come next time, though. She really appreciated it when she asked Misaki for her opinion- Even if she was easily scared and was extremely cautious, she still had a logical and rational mind in making decisions.

She spotted Amiya and another girl up ahead, but she had something to do before she left for their discussion. Disappearing into an alley she smirked as she started to execute her plan for revenge on the person who shook her awake just a while ago. After a few minutes, she left, running over to Amiya. "Hey." She greeted with her normal, monotone voice. Again, after about 5 minutes, her phone started ringing. "Excuse me." She walked away from them, turning her back on them, and answering.

"TSUBAKI!!!!!!!!!!!" "I know, love you too Shinya." She stated bluntly, trying to hold back a snicker. "DID YOU JUST STEAL MY SODA!?" "What if I did? It's called sweet revenge for nearly getting me into trouble in class a while ago." "Y-YOU BETTER PAY FOR THAT!" "Nope, you're still the one who bought it, you still hold responsibility." Then she hung up and ignored every other call Shinya gave her. Snickering to herself as she came back to the group, she decided to keep quiet while waiting for the others.

Siren smiled at Alastrina.
"Thank you Sister... I'd like the company..."
Siren was grateful for the darkness to hide her slight blush. The Dark Spirit always had a bit of a crush on the Pink Spirit, but she dared not reveal her crush. She was almost certainly convinced that Alastrina may have feelings for the Spirit Dancer. The thought would always anger her a bit but she always kept her composure. For now, her thoughts were turned to getting to the port as soon as possible. Siren looked up at the night sky.
"The memory in question... It was a nice one. I was playing with a blonde haired girl. We both were young at the time of the memory. I'd like to say we were six..."
Siren smiled to herself. She always felt comfortable talking to Alastrina about her memories. She always felt a slight pride when regaining a memory of hers. She was approaching the port already and stood beside Alastrina.
"Has there been any disturbance yet?"

Amiya smiled at Tsubaki. She could tell that the stoic girl was happy.
'It must have been a prank. I want to be able to do that one day. I better have Tsubaki-chan teach me at some point.'
Ria raised an eyebrow.
"What's she doing here?"
Amiya looked over at her.
"Ria-chan, Tsubaki-chan is actually one of my group members. I think Kyon-kun is in my group too, and Misaki-chan and Eiko-chan and Takamori-kun and Kiyone-chan..."
Ria's eyes widened.
"Lucky! All I'm stuck with is the gossips that hang around class E-5. I swear, they never learn to shut up when it counts. Why do you get all the interesting people, huh?!"
Amiya's arms were raised up in surrender.
"I-It's not my fault! The teacher just picked us for a group, that's all!"
Ria smiled a bit.
"Amiya, I'm just messing with you. I just want to make sure they treat you right is all."
Ria cast a smiling glare at Tsubaki's direction as she said that. Amiya felt a nervous chuckle escape.
'Oh dear, Ria-chan's in trouble now...'

Eiko sighed, stretching her arms up and putting then over her head. She walked over to the door, picking up her bag and jacket sitting in a nearby chair. Her friend, Sora looked at her, confused.

"Leaving already? Will still have the practice room for another 45 minutes"

Eiko shrugged her her shoulders lazily. "Sorry, I have to meet up with a group to discuss some things"

Sora starred at her, but Eiko just winked and stepped out of the room, leaving her three friends to gaze questioning at the spot where she just stood. The practice room was right by next to a window that held one of the schools many fire escapes. Most people would say that's dangerous, but Eiko didn't mind. Stepping out the window, she jumped a few floors down, landing on her feet but stumbling a bit. Still smiling, she took the rail of the platform above her and swung herself to the ground, then rounding a corner where she was faced with all the busy students busting about.

She saw Tsubaki and Amiya in the distance, along with somone else that Tsubaki was glaring at.

"Uh Oh...hope everything is okay" she said quietly to herself as she walked slowly to greet them.

The street lights flickered as Kiyone pushed herself up from the ground spitting out a mouthful of blood. She has just gotten a good punch to the face which broke the inside of her lip and made her nose bleed. Her opponents today were three guys from school, the captain of the soccer team and two of his buddies. This little fight all started earlier in school when Kyou was napping in a tree and the Captain was arguing with a nerdy girl underneath. He was going on about how she didn't finish his project in time and got a bad grade for it. Things escalated quickly so Kiyone took it upon herself to intervene and help the girl. He was just about to hit her when Kiyone jumped down from the tree landing on him and walked off with the young girl while he got up.

From the group both of the captains friends were carrying baseball bats but Kyou really didn't think much of it. " You guys are annoying you know that?" With that she swiftly kneed the guy to her right in the stomach, knocking the air out of him and causing him to fall over clutching his stomach in pain. Picking up his bat Kiyone didn't waste anytime striking the guy to her left with the bat behind his legs then in the stomach, he too stayed down groaning in pain. Now the only one who was left was the captain and right now he looked frightened, he panicked and grabbed the other bat charging at Kiyone with it as he swung. Kiyone blocked it with her bat but she hit so hard that the bat flew out of his hand. As the captain looked toward Kiyone after the shock of having the bat knocked out of his hands passed, all he saw was a red streak and that's when Kyou's knee connected with his face.

A couple of seconds after she stuck the landing Kiyone picked up her school bag, adjusted her headphones and began to walk home after hearing that 'Thud' that told her that the captain had gone down. When Kiyone was finally home she was greeted by her older sister Ryuko who sighed upon seeing her sister in this state. " Who was it this time?" Ryuko asked as she grabbed the small first aid kit that she always kept stocked because of Kiyone. " Some guys from school, I took care of them though, They won't be bothering me or anyone one else for that matter. " Pinching the bridge of her nose Kiyone made her way to the kitchen counter where she sat up on as Ryuko worked her magic stopping the bleeding and putting a bandage across her younger sister's nose and one on her bruised cheek. Ryuko only nodded at at her sisters answer and began to put everything away.

" Your food is on the table, I made your favorite Miso Soup and Fried Shrimp, Lucky you it's still hot." Kiyone looked over to where her sister said and saw her food sitting at the table all ready to eat. With a big smile and a peck on the cheek Kiyone hopped off the kitchen counter and sat down to ear. " Thanks Sis!" Ryuko sighed a slight smile creeping onto her lips as she turned to her room. " Yeah, Yeah just make sure you clean up after you eat." With that Ryuko had disappeared into her room while Kyou was left gobbling down her food.

After eating and a hot shower Kiyone felt her eyes grow heavy, it was 11 at night now and she was ready to sleep. Climbing into her bed wearing only a tank-top and and panties she quickly wrapped herself in her blankets but that's when she remembered that her phone had vibrated in her pocket when she was striking down those annoying guys. She stretched out her hand towards her night stand where her phone rested and flipped through her e-mails finding one from Tsubaki.

"Hey, it's me, Tsubaki. You feel like coming over tomorrow, after school? Let's discuss the subject of our thesis and see what information we gathered."

Placing her phone back Kiyone thought she would send her reply in the morning since she was falling asleep just reading the e-mail. With her room now dark except for the faint glow coming from the moon, Kiyone was out like a light.

Morning came and the blue-eyed girl was downstairs eating a toast with jelly while her sister got her lunch ready. When she was done eating her toast she slipped on her red leather finger-less gloves and grabbed her school bag where her sister placed her lunch in and headed out the door. Kyou pulled out her phone and looked at the bandages that covered the bridge of her nose and her cheek with the reflection of the screen and scowled a bit. " Little crap. " She mumbled remembering how the captain punched her in the face. Shaking the memory from her head she turned on her phone sending a reply to Tsubaki.

" Yeah, sure I'll come over Just tell me where. (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧ " Kiyone pressed send and placed her hands behind her head as she walked, a yawn escaping her lips. Kiyone finally got to school and sneaked her way passed the crowed halls until she got to her class where she slipped into and sat at her seat in the back and quickly put her head down immediately falling asleep.

Amiya noticed that Eiko was coming over.
"Hi, Eiko-chan~!"
She hugged Eiko as she greeted her.
"Did class go okay? Oh, don't mind Ria-chan over there. She and Tsubaki-chan are at a bit of a disagreement. I think we're waiting for Kyon-kun and Kiyone-chan..."
Ria on the other hand continued to glare at her.
"Bring it on. You don't scare me."
That got Amiya's attention. She let go of Eiko and stepped in-between the two.
"Please don't fight..."
Ria blinked and then sighed.
"Sorry... I just get protective of you, you know? Ah, crap, that's my ride! Talk to you later, Ami!"
And with that, Ria ran off. Amiya waved goodbye to Ria and then turned to Tsubaki and Eiko.
"So, do you guys have an idea on what our thesis should be about?"

The glare the other was giving her only seemed to ignite Tsubaki's "Oh? Are you now?" The girl was cracking her knuckles behind her back. Just then Amiya stepped in between them.

"Please don't fight..."

Tsubaki shrugged and leaned back, shoving her hands in her pockets. When the other left, Tsubaki muttered to herself, "The hell's her problem?" and sighed. She was gonna have to land a good prank on her friend in the other city. Speaking of, she hadn't talked to him in days. "I guess I'll drop him a message." But just then Kiyone replied to her e-mail.

" Yeah, sure I'll come over Just tell me where. (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧ "

"Just try to meet us after class. The meeting's hosted in my house, anyway." She replied and started to look for her friend among her contacts- which she never really dialed unless it was very important- and when she found him she immediately called. "Hey, Kanato."

"T-Ts-Tsubaki! What made you ca-- GET OFF ME! DAMMIT!"

"Hey, are you scoring girls in there? Never thought you'd be a two-timer." Tsubaki teased.

"AM NOT! I'll have you know that I am faithful! And they're the ones that come to me, so--HEY! GIVE THAT BACK--Hey there, Hayashi-chan~"

Tsubaki laughed a little. Phone calls with her friends had never been this hectic. Especially when her friend was an extreme anti-social and was practically invisible like her. "Hey there. How are you guys? Are you coping with the area?"

"Geez, you sound like my mother, Tsubaki. Everything's fine, though Kana-kun may be lying about the faithful thing. Maybe."

Tsubaki laughed when she heard her friend's angry voice screaming in the background and lots of laughter.

"Whoa! What the hell was that for!? A book!? Seriously!? Sorry, Hayashi-chan, but looks like he's on Extreme Annoyance mode already! Call you back later!'

"She must have been chased all around the house again..." Tsubaki chuckled to herself as she ended the call. Back then, there was never a boring day for her because of the two. They moved to the other city, but they still keep in touch usually.

Amiya suddenly felt her own cell phone ring.
"Hello?"
"A-Ah, Domen-san?"
"Miku-chan..."
"Y-Yes... C-Could we h-hang out somew-where at some t-time...?"
"Of course, Miku-chan. What day were you thinking?"
"N-Next Saturday..."
"Well, that will depend on how my group meeting goes."
"O-Okay... It's j-just... you and C-Ciel-chan are my only f-friends... I don't want to l-lose you..."
"Miku-chan, you won't lose me... I promise."
"I... C-Can I tell you something?"
"Sure?"
"I-I think I have a cr-crush on someone... S-Should I tell hi-him?"
"Yeah, go for it! The worst that can happen is rejection and even that doesn't matter~"
"O-Okay... A-Ah! Ciel-chan is calling for m-me... B-Bye Domen-san!"
"Bye-Bye, Miku-chan~"
At the dial, Amiya hung up her phone. Miku-chan was always so shy and mousy. That was part of why Amiya liked her so much. The other parts were that Mikuru seemed to look up to her and that she was slowly getting more and more confident. Amiya couldn't help but feel proud. Amiya kept her eyes peeled.
'I wonder what's going on with Kyon-kun and Kiyone-chan?'

Eiko stood there awkwardly, watching the other two talk on their phones. Reaching into her pocket, she pulled out her own, but saw that she had no text or calls, only the little notification box lit up to remind her that she had an event planned for later that week. Eiko looked around the schoolyard in search for the other two, and wondered when they were going to get there. Eiko saw no one coming their way, and figured the others may be a little while. Sighing boredly, she put her phone back. Then, digging around a bit in her bag, she pulled out something else, her IPod, along with a pare of blue earbuds.

Her eyes scanned over her playlists, scrolling down the many songs she had, she eventually decided to put it on shuffle, and was delighted when a song she knew quiet well came on. Eiko smiled widely as she turned up the volume a bit, and very quietly as so no one would hear her, hummed along to the song that was playing.

"I wonder when the other two will get here..." She thought as she continued humming.
