The answer was in his eyes, she pulled him in and kissed him long on the lips, he was warm, a warmth that Rissa hadn't felt for thousands of years. Rissa was cold. Dead. Or at least, she should be dead.

SHe then got out of her car and went up the stairs. "Arcturus! Where are you?" Kristina said, seeing Demetri by the door, and hoping he wouldnt talk to her.

After Kristina left, Rissa turned back to Troy. "You know what's strange? We've kissed twice, and I still don't know your name. Peculiar, isn't it?" She asked, laughing a bit. "Do you want something to drink? We've got...water and wine, I think Demetri might have raided Kristina's fridge, there used to be beer here, too."
She sighed and brought out the wine before Troy could say anything, and poured it into two wine glasses. She gave one to him, and then sat down at the small table.
