Claire is fabulous, well dressed, beautiful, young, and always in trouble. She is fun, flirty and a bit of free spirit. Free spirit meaning she took after her mother in the bedroom department. Claire is what would be called sexually liberated, she views all things as being natural or unnatural, and sex to her is a perfectly natural thing that should be enjoyed. She is a total mommies girl and emulates her mother a lot, not to say she isn't a daddies girl because she is as well but she understands what works with her mother doesn't work with her father. Claire knows how to manipulate her parents to get what she wants and she is damn good at it.

She is fun loving and kind but also has a possessive streak, men that she sleeps with she tends to claim as hers, which can cause problems because on the same token she isn't wanting a relationship. Claire believes in being free and feels like it is unnatural to be monogamous. She is aware that even her parents who are together don't exclusively sleep with each other, they bring others in on the mix. Claire isn't stupid and it doesn't even bother her, it would bother her if her parents didn't have sex. Claire is in tune with the world and thinks herself more mature than the other teens on a lot of levels, even if she isn't. She has a bit of a superiority complex.

Her strange personality that seems to be a random draw of a lot of traits creates issues with the other teens. She is almost constantly in competition with Selene and tends to piss her off by hanging on her twin. Claire loves Jace, not in the romantic way, she just loves that he is great for torturing Selene. Jace is just as opposed to relationships as Claire is. It is just perfect though, since nothing is good enough for Selene and Koda wont let a guy within ten feet of her, Claire gets to flaunt her freedom with the boys. Even if she is always competing with Selene she doesn't dislike her, they are actually friends. They have one of those love-hate friendships.

Despite her sexual nature with men, Claire doesn't enjoy sleeping with them. She finds it unfulfilling and bland. The only pleasure she gets out of it is an ego boost and a powerful charge from being in control. Claire is a lesbian, though no one knows this and she has made sure no one would even suspect it.

There is one man in particular that can get an emotional reaction out of her and that is Aubrey, she doesn't know if it is his ego or his principles but for some reason Aubrey is the one boy that wont give in to her. This just about drives her nuts. Claire doesn't handle rejection well since she thinks so highly of herself. Her mild infatuation with him is a product of being rejected, she feels bitter about it since he is the first boy to tell her no.

Her personality isn't all self centered and entitled though, Claire has a loving streak and can't hold a grudge. Her dad always raised her with this love of others and an understanding that grudges take far too much time and energy to maintain. Why be mad when you can be happy. She adores Helena and all her little quirks thinking the girl genuine and sweet. She is fiercely protective over the girl and anyone else she loves. Claire has a protective streak and even if she doesn't show it she loves her fellow teens.

Respect would be another thing entirely though, Claire isn't quick to give respect to people unless she sees a good reason to. That lack of respect has made it difficult to train her, so it was left to her mother since her parents are just about the only people she truly listens to and obeys.

Where as Selene is a princess, Claire is a diva.

Attire: More casual than her mother, Claire will wear anything as long as it looks good. One day she can be fully dressed in a fancy cocktail dress and 6 inch heels and another in cut off jeans and a halter top. Her parents allow her to express herself with her attire and her body. Which is why she also changes her hair color regularly, blond, brunette, red head, pink streaks... and so on. Claire loves to change her appearance much like Mimi can do which is amazing in her mind. Claire looks up to Mimi in a way.

Equipment: Claire has advanced weapons training because of her mother and tends to carry some form of weapon with her, knife, gun, tazer. Whatever can be concealed in her outfit that day.

Claire was the unexpected product of a lot of sex between her parents. Tons to be exact because it is rather difficult for vampires to conceive and even harder if a vampire is on birth control. So a year of almost constant sex and along came Claire. Though she wasn't planned she was well received and well loved. Her mother spoiled her and her father doted on her. Even after her birth however her parents didn't follow the traditional path of getting married. Her parents relationship was a tad unconventional and so was her upbringing.

Claire never had the restrictions that her fellow teens did. She was responsible enough to be trusted with most things, like going out. Claire shares everything with her parents, every emotion, every exploit, and every action. She is probably the most open with her parents out of all the teens. She was always home on time and maintained that she wouldn't get into too much trouble. She couldn't say that her father was happy to hear she started sleeping with boys and girls when she was fourteen but he still tried very hard to keep the parental control to a minimum.

There is one thing about Claire that even she doesn't share with her parents or anyone and that is that very secretly Claire prefers women, in bed and as companions. The attention that she pays to the male sex is only for show and also a weapon. Claire knows how much power being a woman holds and she is the first one to use it. She first noticed when she was fourteen and she found women more pleasing than men in every way. Her attraction to men is only a psychological desire to control them and the only way she knows how is with sex. Claire is actually a lesbian, not that anyone would know by her actions, the posters of men on her walls, or her choice of partners. Sleeping with men still gives her pleasure to a degree but she finds it impossible to get off. The attraction and appeal just isn't there. Not like that stops her and she still finds male partners to satisfy her ego quite often. That is the only part of her that she can't share with others because she cherishes it so much. Something she can't see anyone else understanding.

Her life is wonderful and full of ups and downs but it is still beautiful and she loves everyday of it.
