Appearance ~ Well over six feet, Khalid is a lean but well muscled man. His mixed racial background has given him skin the rich color of caramel and eyes like almonds. His hair is such a glossy black that it appears blue in certain light. Tattoos adorn his person, as well as a pair of dark horns that protrude from his head and just poke out through his thick hair. His eyes, as well, are inhuman as they have the slit pupil and bright yellow shade of a cat's.
Personality ~ Khalid is one of the ancients, an age old Warlock with immense power and a flare for sequins. Khalid is every bit as glamorous and eccentric as he is powerful. Having been alive for so many countless decades, Khalid has found it necessary, in recent centuries, to spice up his life some. He lives a lavish life of adventure and hedonism. A flaming pansexual, Khalid is open to just about anyone in his bed. Whether they be male, female, immortal, or human. He is not particularly picky with his companions, as they often expire as the ages continue on.
Khalid is an essentially lonely person, deep down. He has lost many people over the ages, and even with time, that heart ache does not seem to go away. He does not mind though; because pain is better than feeling nothing at all. He has heard horror stories from the other ancients, who have forgotten what it is like to feel; to love and to hate. Immortality has made them numb, but not Khalid. He is determined to feel as much as possible. True immortality is hard to come by, and Khalid does not intend on wasting his.
So, he continues to make the most of his endless life. He has traveled the world, making sure to experience whatever he can. As a result, his story telling ability is a thing of legend. He tells insanely lavish tales, having dined with kings and queens and popes over the ages. There are few historical dealings that Khalid has not had his hands in. The death of Julius Cesar, the discovery of the New World, the Spartans last stand at Thermopylae, the Russian Revolution. He's been involved all of it; his stories too plentiful to tell.
Over the years, he's made many friends. He's a cheerful companion, witty and playful, but also a powerful ally. His magic is boundless and dangerous. Despite his eccentric, fun-loving personality, Khalid is an ancient through and through. His power is immeasurably valuable. He's the kind of guy you want on your side.
History ~ Khalid's is a history too vast to portray. He himself has difficulty remembering some of the earlier years. Though he knows he was born the son of a very powerful, inter-dimensional demon. As such, Khalid has always been successful as a powerful magic users. His summoning abilities are invaluable, as well as his spirit healing and general offensive magic.
He has stayed out of Delegate dealings for the most part, not wanting to get mixed up in something so new and messy. As course will have it though, he had a few run-ins, most notably with their previous leader, Byron, whom Khalid has a particularly vicious vendetta against. Other notable characters who have had the pleasure of Khalid's companionship and eventual rage include the IOI's Gabe, Vampire Supremacists like the Ex, The Witch Queen of Wales, and countless dictators and autocrats.
Khalid and government never mixed, until of course, a couple decades ago, he met a young, blind werewolf named Dakota Bravo while living in Venice. Khalid befriended the boy and eventually learned that he was an ex-Delegate who had been kicked out, on the premise of being useless, after being blinded in a training accident. As such, he often spoke ill of the organization.
Khalid eventually began a relationship with the young Dakota, or as he dubbed him, DJ, who was an avid party boy with a definite preference towards women. Of course, that didn't matter to Khalid who would never dream of monogamy. The two eventually moved in together in a grand mansion on the coast of Spain where they had some truly legendary parties. Exotic demon drugs, hallucinogenic faerie drinks, and sex everywhere. They had themselves some wild times.
Eventually Koda left, as they all do, and Khalid found himself another amusement and then another. A decade or two back though, he received an invitation to Koda's wedding, to the head of the Delegates, of all people. Khalid attended of course, and it proved a rather nice occasion. The two have kept sparsely in touch since, but now that Koda has summoned, Khalid has come running - or rather teleporting. Ready to offer whatever assistance he can.
After all, with great power and an even greater head of hair, comes great responsibility.
