Personality:
While saying angsty teenager is a cliche, Mia can be very much a stereotypical teenage girl. Brought up on the streets with her mother she hasn't had the easiest life. Her rough around the edges personality reflects that with her contempt of authority and rebellious nature. She is a user and quite a manipulator if she thinks it will get her what she wants. On the surface Mia is petulant, abrasive, rude, and angry at the world. But underneath all that she has a desire to please people and to be liked. She never made friends and more often than not walked through life alone she has a lot of pent up anger. She has a dislike for the privileged, with their rich kids that never knew what it was like to be on the streets. Secretly that is rooted in a jealousy since she was raised by her prostitute mother and no father. She never did get why other kids got to have it all when she always got the short end of the stick. Life never seemed fair. Mia has a lot of bad personality traits, she has an addictive personality, severe jealousy issues, mommy and daddy issues, a short temper, she has a huge flare for drama and she is quite possessive. Not to say she is all bad, Mia can be loyal and loving, kind, and fun. She takes responsibility seriously when it is given to her but she wont ask for it. She is very capable and comes across as a bit of a badass. She loves to be around others and doesn't like to be alone.

History:
Mia was born at some hospital clinic in Brazil. Her mother was an "escort" that serviced the elite that gathered every year in her small town for some big diplomatic meeting. Mia grew up with her alcoholic mother and never knew her father though she often heard her mother speak of him on one of her drunken rants. Most beautiful man she had ever seen her mother always told her. Mia heard the story over and over again as her mother was a bottle deep in cheap tequila. She had gone to the party with some foreign diplomat but his wife showed up right as they had gone up to the room. Her mother hid in the space between the diplomat's room and some strangers room so his wife wouldn't find her. The rooms were joining. The guy on the other side must have heard her in there because he opened his side of the door and out fell Mia's mother. She took one look at him and fell in love. She claimed it was those eyes, as blue as a clear sky. He was hiding from the party and was very drunk, she kept him company for a time and eventually left while he was sleeping. A few months later Mia was born and the rest is history.

Mia's mother spent years trying to track him down but he was only seen once at the gathering and never again. Times got rough when the meetings just stopped, that's when the cash stopped flowing in from the strange and alluring gentlemen that paid for her mother's company for the evening.

They moved around a lot after that from place to place. Mia was never given proper schooling or had any sort of proper childhood. Her mother died last year and ever since then Mia has been on her own. She had somehow managed to get across the country tracking down her father. Leads are rare but they had been paying off recently when she ran into a strange man in Florida that promised to take her to her father though he seems very hesitant. Armed with the one thing she has of her fathers, a crumpled picture of him and her mother in a very incriminating pose with what looks like a bottle of whiskey, she is determined to find him. He is all the family she has now, and she has no desire to be alone.
