Personality

Midnight is fun and quirky at times. She just loves to have a good time and sometimes that is getting away from everything and everyone to be herself. The pressures of perfection make it hard for her to relax and let go, but she has been trying to let her hair down more now that her children are grown.

Midnight has grown a little colder since Gabriel's fall eighteen years ago. She has enjoyed raising her children and gave them every ounce of love she had. Still her children weigh heavily on her. Her son Jace is a loose cannon, her daughter Selene dramatic.

She loves Koda still but resents his inability to admit flaws with the children. Sometimes she thinks Koda lives in a fairy tale more than Selene does. Jace is still his rambunctious teen and Selene his darling princess. Midnight hates this because the children grew to be spoiled. Midnight never believed in spoiling the children, she came from the school of making them earn everything they had. Like how she raised Garrett. It is no secret she is most proud of him, the other children appearing to have no desire to make anything of themselves. She always believed in their abilities, gave each child independent attention, cultured their passions, supported their dreams, and emotionally loved them no matter what they did. Midnight loves her family no matter what and it is killing her that her own children take no pride in their lives or strive for more in the organization. She honestly wouldn't care what they chose to do with their lives as long as they picked something and dedicated time and energy. She can't stand that they have no goals.

All in all she is similar to her former self and she will always strive to make things perfect for everyone. She has become quite the example for the children and even though she thinks of many things in terms of furthering the organization, she has never judged them. Many of the children come to her for advice when they don't feel comfortable going to their own parents. Midnight is the warm guiding light that is honest and just, and never judgmental. She shares a special bond with her children, they can tell her anything. Midnight has always been open with others but especially with her own children who are her proudest accomplishment in the world.

Pros: Midnight is still kind and loving, always there for others and strives to make the people's lives around her as happy and fulfilled as possible. She is an amazing organizer and accomplished leader. She strives to lead all people to their potential, and leads by example in her own life. Though she is always working her door is open at all times and she will always make time to talk to anyone that needs her. She especially takes time out of her busy schedule to counsel the children of the organization.

Cons: Midnight works entirely too much and even when she is not working she is thinking about work. The running joke being she having a love affair, with her laptop. Sometimes she is obsessed with her work and tends to spend more time with Garrett, Aubrey, and Arucan than with her own husband. Since Arucan and her are working together to groom Garrett and Aubrey to take over the organization she spends a lot of her free time training the teens in combat and in the art of politics. Not to mention Midnight has a scary dark side that few see, most of those that have seen it don't get to live to tell anyone else.

Equipment

Attire: Midnight is quite the fashionista. She indulges in her love of fashion daily and is never seen looking anything less than perfect. She lives a stressful life but no one would ever know by looking at her.

Equipment: Midnight uses all weapons and is so well trained in combat that she is personally heading the training of the younger generation. She is always armed to some degree with some type of concealed weapon. She can often be found with her computer and phone on her.

History

Midnight's timeline. (I am glossing because writing it all out would take days)

She was born into the Delegates, the daughter of Anne Winter and Byron Alesten. She was an illegitimate child and was raised by Anne and her new husband Christopher. Midnight was raised believing that Christopher was her real father. Soon though it became apparent that Byron noticed her talent and he stepped in to derail her happy life. Her parents were killed, drown to be exact which instilled Midnight's fear of water. She was trained by Byron and Aubrey brutally until she was the pinnacle of a Delegate. She was the the best of the best.

Her time at Hq didn't last long because as soon as she graduated training she was sent to head up the Sleeper organization. While the secret organization was run by Michael, her current lover, Midnight helped to train the people given over to the organization. It was in the sleepers that she made the greatest friend she would ever have, Amirah.

It did not last though, the way the sleepers were operating made her sick and she could no longer stomach being apart of it. So she left, back to Hq to train a new group entering the Delegates. Then she gained rights over a boy names Shisou, a cold boy that was bitter and angry at the world. Soon after a happy carefree child was given to her, Grant. They were together for years before the last addition joined their little family, and the last addition was Dakota Bravo. He was a dedicated, rambunctious teen that gave her perhaps more hell than all the boys combined. Still despite all that she had a strong connection with the teen, and quickly grew to love him.

Trails were nothing new to Midnight by this point and soon she would face more. Koda went missing, later being revealed that he wasn't missing at all, he was blinded and kicked out. Ten years later a chance encounter had him reunite with Midnight and the team. They returned and Midnight took over the delegates. After 27 years of knowing Koda, him and Midnight finally realized their feelings for each other and admitted it. They enjoyed a brief romance before life was shaken again and the Arucan betrayal shook the delegates to the core. She returned with a child, Koda's son, Garrett. Arucan was dealt with and Gabriel defeated.

Finally recovering from that situation and building the delegates up again there was yet another crisis. This crisis came from all angles, Midnight was pregnant, with twins and it couldn't have come at a worse time. The Delegates faced an adversary they couldn't defeat with traditional means and Midnight turned to her one year old son, and a former Ex agent for help. The combines efforts proved helpful and Gabriel fell just one day after she gave birth to Selene and Jace.

Since Gabriel finally fell for good Midnight and the Delegates have enjoyed a time of peace and joy. She has spent the last 18 years elevating the delegates and raising her children to the best of her abilities.
