Personality:
Shayde is the type of guy you love to hate. He is charismatic and charming, which leads him often into the limelight. He is a man of high intelligence and often has a calm way about him that can be unsettling. Casual by nature it is hard for him to genuinely bond with others or form any lasting relationships. The world could be crashing down around him and he would keep going about his business like nothing happened at all. Shayde doesn't often concern himself with the affairs of the world and cares little for the affairs of humans and immortals alike. Due to his circumstances, he has a touch of a superiority complex knowing that he will be around long after others are gone. He is also not a grudge holder for the same reason, it's hard to hold a grudge when you know everyone else will eventually die yet you will remain. This also makes him a patient man willing to wait for anything he wants. Occasionally he participates in the world and enjoys grand parties, the finer things in life.

He knows the design of the world and that his part in it is large. Everyone has a role to play and Shayde has accepted his role long ago. He has emotions but they are rarely shown, as he has no one he really trusts. His softer side has been seen by very few and he normally appears apathetic towards others and their struggles.

To people meeting him he is likable, charming, intelligent, cultured, and refined. A dignified sort of person that others enjoy having around. Most people don't know him long enough to see how removed he is from the world emotionally, how hollow he is. Shayde is driven by divine purpose, as far as he knows being the only one of his kind that purpose is his burden alone to bare and it's quite a crushing weight.

Flaws:
Apathetic, unfeeling, and globally minded. He doesn't normally concern himself with the small things in life as nothing has caused him to slow down enough to even notice. His life feels like a blur that has sped by.
