AJ Lark's Story

Samuel
"Alright that's fine Miko, just keep yourself protected. You'll be with Skyler, Dorian, & Baylee fighting Wolfe if he shows up." Samuel confirmed. "Are there any other things you guys would like to go over?" Samuel asked the group.

As Dorian put on his own plan Samuel listened, there were some good parts. "That's pretty good Dorian, except I can't run at the speed you'll need me at without a full suit, that's y i positioned myself at a long range distance to fire from a distance, otherwise I'd take out the grunts without breaking a sweat. Also Baylee doesn't know how to use her powers on more than one person, so she can't distract all those soldiers. Since Wolfe would be most powerful at night, which is nine out of ten when he'll attack we have to weaken him as much as we can, which is why I placed Baylee with the main group." Samuel said as he put forth some thoughts.

"I was about to get to you Isobel. I would like you to take on Malice if she shows up. I know I should be the last person talking about trust, but you're the only person I know won't harm Malice if she shows up" Samuel said. He actually wasn't going to mention anything to Isobel until they left because her part of the plan involved Malice.

AJ
Footsteps are heard in the hallways of The Organization compound. Wearing a more slender version of Samuel's flame retardant suit is his cousin AJ Lark. The guards tense up as she walks by, holding what looks like a biker's helmet in one hand. While walking down the hall, AJ hears a loud crash from Wolfe's office. She casually strides in to the office to hear Wolfe frustrated on the phone.

"Aww the all mighty demi-god is too tired to fight, boo hoo. So you guys found that group of freaks and you weren't able to take em' out, pathetic" AJ said antagonistically as she leaned her shoulder on Wolfe's doorway.

AJ turned around to see Malice when she heard someone approaching. "Oh it's you" AJ said as she gave Malice a glare. AJ wanted to kill Malice for a long time. She had seen how Malice operates and she found it revolting. Out of all the people she'd come in to contact with that had abilities Malice was her least favorite, but unfortunately they were on the same team.

"Your boyfriend is on his period as you can see, maybe you should come back with chocolates so you don't get a black eye from domestic violence. Matter of fact, I'd like to see that, head right inside" AJ said as she stepped to the side so Malice could walk in.

"Oh is that why you got your ass handed to you when those group of freaks came and rescued those other freaks." AJ said with a smirk on her face. "Now Wolfe got his ass handed to him too, you guys make the perfect couple. Two losers who can't get the job done" AJ said as she laughed at the both of them who failed The Organization. "If it had been me the problem would already been solved, but unfortunately management under estimates me" She said with a sigh.

Wolfe Vicero

The flame that burned earlier today restarted as soon as AJ walked into the room. She was cold, arrogant and just annoying, Wolfe sighed as she entered the room shaking his head at the antagonistic nature that would soon spark up. " You guy's? ha you mean one vs about seven or six, also beating the hell out of everyone and getting hit with magic to port me away was their only option. At least, I can take a whole team AJ oh sorry for stepping on your toes your cousin would be more useful" With that Wolfe dropped the topic, and relaxed for a while. He would need almost a full day to recover his power from burning up his hell-fire ability for to long. The Lightning was no be deal and could be fixed easy, looking up to malice as she walked through the door. Once again she was different, her aura was changed and she felt like how malice normally felt.

Shaking his head in as AJ once again felt like starting problems someone, Slamming his hands on the desk shooting flame out of his mouth a short distance, not far enough to harm any of them. Listening to AJ ramble on about her power and how Wolfe failed, which heated him up more the red glow in his eyes sparked up brighter. Swiftly swinging his hand the desk was incarcerated from his fire, looking her down while walking towards her "That could be you if you don't stop". Calming down and walking to his chair stepping over the ash he left on the floor" AJ, that's enough don't hate because someone actually can handle it rough" Wolfe said with a slight smirk leaning back into his chair " Look, we have to chrush them tomorrow hold nothing back and just stomp them into the dirt. Dorian, my brother, and a few others must be taken back alive... However there is one with a mind control ability to project some fear something that harbors in your head, take her out first she has to focus in on me. Another reason why they lived, I can try to resist it this time because now I'll be expecting it to happen."

Closing his eyes "That's all you need to know for tomorrow, it shouldn't be hard for us to win...Skyler will be our Ace in this fight." Wolfe said as he dissmissed AJ, looking towards malice "how are you hun?" Wolfe asked.

Skyler Vicero

Skyler listened very carefully at both plans making sure there was close to no openings within them, making sure that no one would get hurt because of the battle that would take place. Looking to Isobel and pulling out a few strands of hair, "that should be good enough right?" Skyler said handing them to her. "well magic is a good way to fight against me and my brother respectively, it works but it has to be strong like what Isobel was doing earlier was strong enough to ward off few attacks." Skyler commented while thinking more about the task that would be put ahead of them. Standing up as he was satisfied with the planing " Baylee, stand far enough back... you blacked-out today I can't live with myself if you were to die. Oh and Isobel meeting outside once again." Skyler said laughing as he walked back outside the door way waiting for her.

She could be a turning point in the fight tomorrow if they win, it would be because of her on there side. Now Skyler was more confident, that well they had a fighting a war that could be won. But if Wolfe assulted tomorrow night, his unrelenting power would end up showing a power that even Skyler feared...

AJ
AJ smiled to see that she gotten on Wolfe's nerves. She walked over to the pile of ashes and crouched down to them. "I apologize Wolfe, I didn't know you were so powerful...when you're fighting desks." AJ said as she turned to him with a smile on her face. She stood back up and walked back to the doorway. "Us? By us you must mean Malice, yourself, and some lackeys because I'm not letting you tarnish my hunting record by going on some half ass scheme of yours. If you don't like it, take it to management, they won't do anything to me, they can't afford to." AJ said with her shoulder leaned on the doorway. "When you and Malice fail again, I will be there to take your spot and then I'll show you how a real hunter works. Give my cousin my regards." AJ said as she quickly turned around giving Malice and Wolfe the middle finger on her way out.

Samuel

"We'll need to be well rested for this attack, I suggest everyone relax. I'll go get some food, unfortunately I can't get pizza from Chicago like i did last time, but I'll find some place close. I'll be back in about an hour." Samuel said as he walked out the door. With his suit gone he couldn't run fast and even if he ran slower, extended amounts of time running would cause him to heat up. For the first time in years Samuel had no choice, but to walk like a normal human being.

"Anyone want to come with? Someone might steal my purse." Samuel said as he continued to walk out, not checking to see if someone followed.

AJ

AJ who continued to walk down the hallway suddenly tackles a solider to the ceiling with her flight. "Give me the coordinates of Malice's location when she ran away with my cousin." AJ said as she held him by the throat. "I'm sorry I-" The soldier began to say until AJ flew forward, dragging the mans head across the ceiling. "OK!" the soldier screamed as he teared in pain.

After dropping the soldier to the ground AJ flew to where Malice was earlier, but high enough so that she could barely be seen. She took a quick look around the area. "A school? Lame." AJ said as she flew away from the area.

AJ perched herself on top of a tree when she saw that Organization helicopters were on their way to the school. She watched the fight from above and others fighting The Organization were doing okay. She wondered where Wolfe was or even Malice. She considered this attack to be pointless because she felt the soldiers were weak even though they did out number them. Without any leadership or overwhelming strength, the assault was a massacre for The Organization. She wanted to jump in, but this was Wolfe's downfall, so she just stayed watching.

"Boooooring!" AJ shouted from the top of the tree as she watched the fight. She gave a smile to everyone below.

Samuel
Samuel sped off back to the school as he dodged cars in between. As he arrived he saw the battle already taking place, it looked like it just begun not too long ago, so they'd arrived just in time. "Hold on Katey, we're going to hit a couple speed bumps" Samuel said as he sped to Organization grunts that had their backs turned to the school. Samuel's car shook as he ran over a chunk of The Orgnization soldiers. He sped past everyone else and headed straight to the school where he crashed through the front door with the car. "We're not staying here anyway" Samuel said as he laughed

He turned to Katey. "Sorry about that I guess I got carried away, c'mon lets kick some ass" Samuel apologized while smiling at her and holding the back of his neck. Samuel darted up the stairs to the roof of the school where he could get a better view of everything.

AJ
Aj who was watching the whole this looked on with dissatisfaction when Malice was captured by Isobel. "You got captured already?! You suck Malice!" AJ shouted from the top of a tree nearby.

AJ
AJ who was still at the school surveyed the remaining people there. She watched as a new guy entered the school, not sure of what his powers might be. She also watched as Skyler got struck by lightening and rise up afterwards. She had not clue as to why he'd be excited for that, but it seemed like he was begging to be stricken. She figured it'd be some demigod thing she couldn't understand, but Wolfe might know.

On any other occasion she would have approached everyone there, but there were too many unknowns for her to start a hostile confrontation. AJ decided it'd be best to head back to base and tell Wolfe what she saw. She began to fly back at the same speed as Samuel.

Samuel

Meanwhile back at Samuel's mansion in the Rocky Mountains.

A mess of The Organization soldiers bodies lie all over the ground. Most of them burned and curled up, similar to the bodies found on Pompeii after a volcano consumed the island. The entire base The Organization set up at the mansion was gone as far as soldiers, there were still remnants of equipment there, but not much. Inside the mansion there was a trail of burned floor, which was the path Samuel took when he ran into the basement, and into the room where he now was. The room was filled with the coldest of ice at sub zero temperatures.

All of a sudden a hand shot out of the blue vat of gel. Samuel had finally woken up from his unconscious state caused by the pain he'd put himself in by reclaiming his mansion. Samuel was lucky to be alive because he'd torched himself by running at his highest speed with no suit to cover his upper body. Samuel crawled out of the vat, he was shivering from the cold. The skin on is upper body was unrecognizable and rough,his hair was completely gone from his scalp. Samuel had not felt the exposure of air on his raw skin because it was so numb from the cold.

When Samuel got his strength back he began to walk slowly past the litter of dead and charred bodies that lay around his home. There was a medical station in one of the rooms The Organization used. There were a couple soldiers still alive, but unconscious on the beds. A was in the corner of the room staring at Samuel completely paralyzed by fear since she'd seen the bodies from the window. Samuel looked back at the doctor with no expression on his face. "Wrap me up" Samuel said roughly as he sat in front of the doctor. The doctor nervously pulled out bandages from the drawer as he hands quivered in fear. She began to wrap Samuel's charred body, trying not to stare at his face.

When the doctor had finished, Samuel had his entire upper body covered in bandages, except a small area where is eyes were. "Thank you" Samuel said as he rose up from the chair. "You're we-" The doctor began to say, but Samuel suddenly snapped her neck and her body fell to the floor. Samuel then walked over to every unconscious solider and snapped their necks at high speed as he passed.

After leaving the med bay he headed to his room, which to his surprise was untouched, except for the bed which someone had obviously slept in. Samuel pushed in a panel on the wall and the wall began to move downward as it revealed all of Samuel's suits. Samuel too one off the mannequin and put it on, replacing the half suit that was torn from the spar with Skyler. He looked at himself in the mirror and seeing his new appearance for the first time, he started to cry. He let out a terrible scream and dashed off. Samuel went rushing off to The Organization base with the intent to kill.

AJ

AJ appeared next to Wolfe & Malice. "I saw your whole disaster at, once again you couldn't get the job done." AJ said as she walked around the both of them. "Before you get all defensive and parade around about how you captured two of the guys, you should probably know that they have a new member and that Skyler guy-" AJ began to say before she was interrupted by something that sounded like a large explosion near by.

Samuel

Samuel arrived at The Organization base at little to no time. A huge trail of fire stood behind the man who's only recognizable feature was his patented flame retardant suit. The rest of his body was covered in bandages, including his face. His eyes were full of rage that pointed at the base. Samuel who now had his flame retardant gloves was able to throw things at the same speed he ran without getting burned. He grabbed a rock and causal tossed it up and down in his hand before throwing it at the engine of an Organization vehicle and causing it to explode.

Samuel then dashed through the wall of the base, killing Organization soldiers on the way there. When he dashed through the base his intense heat had made the surface of the wall easier to break, but it still hurt Samuel. He was blinded by, so much rage that he didn't care anymore. He began to walk the halls looking for two people, Wolfe and Malice.

Samuel took the brunt of Wolfe's attack feeling the electricity jolt through his body. He jumped back and re bandaged his arm and rolled up the suit back up. Without saying word he stared at Wolfe with murderous intent. He dashed off towards Wolfe and circled around him, getting rid of the oxygen around him. He was hoping the lack of oxygen would make Wolfe drowzy, at least momentarily.

AJ walked away from the scene since she didn't want Samuel to know she was a part of the group just yet & because she hated Wolfe as well

AJ

AJ dashed to the cell where Katey and Issac were being held. Her face was slightly angered because she'd been resting and the noise awoke her, she was a light sleeper. "If you don't shut your damn mouth I will kill you right now. I don't give a rat's ass about what these nerds want with you, when AJ doesn't sleep, Aj beats people to death!" AJ shouted as her face boiled red. Her fists were clentched in fury. She gave a look to the girl beside Issac. "That goes for you too ug mug" AJ said as she shot a glare at Katey.

Samuel

"Yeah seriously man, we were invited...both of us. This is a package deal, that's not a problem now is it?" Samuel asked as his face remained unchanged, but the tone in his voice communicated emotion for him, it seemed automated. Samuel knew that Malice was uneasy about the situation and he knew that everyone else wouldn't welcome her with open arms as they did for him when he double crossed them to save Malice. Samuel's best hope would be Isobel who remained with the group when he left, provided The Organization hadn't done a raid of the group.

Katey sat quietly as AJ shouted."Wow someone is grouchy isn't she?" she mumbled.She got of the ground and stood next to Isaac."Look we want to help."

Samuel
"Maybe it's best if we stay somewhere else" Samuel said as he looked away and started turn around, but then he suddenly stopped. "Hold on a second. You said I could be healed right?" Samuel asked Dorian as he turned his head. "Well I think I should be healed...now" Samuel said as he started to remove the bandages. His face was burned, but there were patches of skin that remained untouched. His hair was patched up and as he removed the bandages around his arms you could see that they'd been burned the most, his skin there was leather like. The air around him burned the exposed parts of his skin.

AJ
"Maybe if you weren't such an idiot you wouldn't have trouble thinking" AJ said in a sharp tone as she turned away from Carlee. "As far as a plan goes I'm tired of working with failures like you. First Malice fails, then Wolfe, and now you. So here's the grand plan you so desperately yearn for: you listen to me and keep your mouth shut" AJ said fiercely. She was tired of everyone messing up with a small group of people.

She looked at Katey. "You want to help, you know the last guy who said they wanted to help stabbed us in the back, we'd be stupid to trust you two." AJ said as she paced in front of the cell. "You know I've seen you before, with my cousin. Looks like you two were on a date when you went to that pizza place if I didn't know better, too bad he already had someone else." AJ smiled teasingly. "I bet that made you angry, maybe even jealous. I mean she's even a vampire, just like you. Wouldn't it have all been better if Malice was out of the way?" AJ asked as she brought her face by the cell. "But no matter it seems like you find someone else to move on to anyway...and so quickly too. I'm glad my cousin chose to keep pursuing Malice instead of going for you" AJ said as she laughed and moved away from the cell.

"I'll tell you what, Malice is gone and we need a vampire, so we'll let you help. By you I mean only you, your boyfriend stays locked up here...unharmed..." AJ continued as she leaned against a wall. "...or my bestest buddy Carlee will take your boyfriend for a little stroll, you can manage to do that, right Carlee" AJ asked as she turned to her in a relaxed way. "Maybe you can have him jump in front of a train, or how bout jump off a skyscraper, or even make him shoot himself right in front of Katey. That would be fun now wouldn't it." AJ said as she smiled, waiting to see Katey's reaction.

Katey glared at AJ,she felt as if she were on the verge of tears so she turned her head and clenched her fists."Samual and I wern't on a date and I surely don't give a hell about him and Malice!"she yelled,now facing AJ and Carlee."I'll tell you what,Malice is gone and we need a vampire,so we'll let you help.By you I mean only you,your boyfriend stays locked up here....unharmed..."Katey looked down at the ground and bit her lip in frustration."I
-I." she stopped herself and thought about what AJ said about Carlee controlling him and making him practicly kill himself infront of her."One Hes not my boyfriend and two,I'll help you guys j-just don't hurt Isaac." she said trying not to let her voice crack.

AJ
AJ was happy that her plan was working with Katey and she was just about to release her until Issac decided to teleport behind her. She could feel her blood drip a bit from the press of his blade. AJ didn't want more than one of the others in The Organization, she was planning to use Issac as leverage, and the fact he already pulled a blade on her made him a liability.

AJ quickly reacted with her super to turn around and grabbed both blades from Issac and in literally less than a second, pushing him away. She sounded the alarm for the guards seconds later and a blaring alarm echoed throughout the facility. AJ knew Issac was a teleporter from the data The Organization had previously collected. If it'd been someone else she would have tackled them miles above ground and watched them drop to their death, but it seemed her signature move would be useless against him since he could easily interrupt the fall.

AJ watched as the guards began to make their way down the halls. "Don't you even dare think of moving or things will be much worse for you" AJ said as she pointed one of the blades at Issac.

Samuel
Samuel watched as Dorian was out of breath, still trying to hang on to what remnants of the dysfunctional group he managed. He couldn't help but to shake his head at him. He turned to Malice to see her reaction, she seemed distraught. "This isn't any of your fault Malice" Samuel said as he intertwined his pinky with hers.

As Isobel came down Samuel was relieved to see someone a bit more on their side of the situation. He felt a bit embarrassed from his appearance when Isobel reacted the way she did. "Hey don't hate me because I'm beautiful" Samuel jokingly said to her to hide his insecurity about his appearance, as she walked towards them.

Samuel gave a nod to Isobel as she told him not to disappear again. In the back of his head he knew that he would indeed disappear with Malice once the war was over. He didn't know if Isobel wanted to tag along, she was like family to Samuel and cared about Malice probably as much as he did.

Matey starred at Isaac as he drew a blade on Aj.As soon as AJ used her speed and pulled the alarm she jumped and yelled at Isaac." Just don't do anything sly,right now."Katey then turned her stare at AJ."Just let me out and I'll help take care of this."

((er I know it's short and sucky but just to get the plot moving along))

Samuel
Samuel shot up from the ground in an instant. He felt a bit ashamed for faltering during his run and Malice seemed disappointed at him as well. Samuel behind Malice to see a trail of embers from where he'd ran from. "Right...no attention to myself." he said as he looked back at Malice. He took a moment to calm himself down and looked back at her with a familiar look in his eyes. "Hey, I love you Malice" Samuel said as he grabbed her hand, intertwining his fingers with hers. He had a clear head for the moment, realizing that Malice would have to ease him in to this

AJ
As moments passed and Katey had still not gotten out of the cell AJ opened, the guards began to surround Issac. AJ walked away when they'd fully surrounded him. She looked over at Katey. "Well are you coming or what? There's work to be done." AJ said before continuing to walk.

Samuel
"I'm sorry Malice, the whole thing felt off to me, I apologize." Samuel said before kissing the top of her head and wrapping his arms around her. Samuel now had his right sense of mind back and his emotions were more stable and less sporadic. Despite feeling comforted by Malice, Samuel looked up to see the scene they were in. The man was passed out, bloody, and had a broken leg. Samuel could still taste the blood and was willing to bet there was some on his mouth, so he wiped it on the sleeve of his suit. "Perhaps we should get away from here" Samuel said as he looked back to Malice.

AJ
AJ had walked off to her office not waiting to see if Katey had followed. She felt like The Organization was falling. Ever since Malice escaped with Samuel, Wolfe was nowhere to be found. He knew that he had a thing for Malice, but to go into some emotional retreat was quite pathetic to her. Then there was Malice who AJ never really liked because she didn't choose this job like she did. Her only other allies were Katey and Carlee. She'd not seen Carlee in a while and Katey was subject to betrayal. AJ got by a P.A system and decided to make an announcement that she'd long awaited. "Ehem...attention all Organization employees, time after time we've seen our people die because they were under the leadership of people incapable of leading anything. These people were demi-gods and vampires, barely human at all." AJ began to say as she sat down and propped her feat on her desk. "Why should we take orders from freaks like them? The higher ups in this place don't care about us. When's the last time you've seen any of them? I sure as hell haven't seen one fucking higher up" AJ yelled across the intercom and banged her fist on her desk. "I'm tired of this, so I think it's time for someone else to take charge and I think that person is me. Our prisoners Katey and Issac will be joining us, they are like us. They know the trouble of following incapable leaders like the one that killed our family. Forget capturing Dorian alive, I want revenge, Dorian must die. Every knows I'm a caring woman, so I'm offering you all a choice. If you don't like the way things are about to run around here you can leave now...or die later." AJ said before tossing the intercom. She sat at her desk either waiting for soldiers to take her away for treason or soldiers begging to be under a new regime.

Samuel
Samuel smiled at Malice and wiped the tears away from her face. He stroked her cheek gently. "Back to Dorian's we'll need to plan the final attack on that base" Samuel said before dashing off back to the school. He was much more adapt at running at his increased speed since his senses were enhanced.

AJ
AJ got her feet off the desk when Ethan showed up. She respected Ethan a little bit more than the others, but she wasn't going to lose her new found power. "Well a group of freaks got together and decided to go against us. Wolfe and Malice tried to fight them off but they failed twice. Malice ended up going awol when this base was attacked by a flaming idiot. Wolfe hasn't been seen since that raid and now it's just me and Carlee. There are two others that won't to join but one of em pulled a knife on me already, but I'm willing to look passed that since there's a shortage of soldiers here. Since no one seems to be stepping up to the plate I'm assuming control of this place" AJ said as she leaned against her desk casually. She was secretly preparing to kill Ethan at that very moment, she didn't anyone getting in her way.
