Ever since you were born, you've felt different. You've felt a close relationship with one thing or another, or were superbly good at something.
Why is this?

Introduction
Many years ago, there were three ultra-powerful forces in the world. Light, Dark, and Evil. None of them had genders, for none of them could reproduce. Now, you'd think that it's unfair that there were two basic 'evil' entities- but no. Dark was not evil, simply neutral. An invisible night, a moonless cover of darkness. Dark, Light, and Evil were supreme. They ruled with iron fists. Back then, everyone, be human, animal, or monster, had a power, as you might call it.
The powers consisted of everything you could dream of- and more. You see, they weren't really Earth-based entities, not all of them. Some had the power to call down metiorites from the skies, some could cause a star to twinkle and some, if they weren't careful, could spontenously open black holes with a flick of their fingers. Light, Dark, and Evil were not human. They were animals, in fact. And that's why we are so flawed, what we now pass off as human nature- because humans are abominations. They weren't created by Light, Dark, or Evil. In fact, the Three were unsure where exactly we come from- but more on that later.
Their exact forms are unknown, but it is said that Light was furry, Dark was scaly, and Evil was a bizarre mixture of both, because Evil was a combonation of what the Two both had inside of them, and it became so strong that it manifested as a new entity. The Twins, as they called themselves, were extreamely frightened of Evil. Their warriors were not stronger, since every one had a bit of it within them, and once it has entered, it shall not bid goodbye. So Evil figured out how to wriggle it's way into the hearts and minds of the warriors. Dark and Light, hearing of this, were dismayed. They glanced at Evil's warriors and said, "If we have vunerablity, so must they."
But Evil's warriors were unpenatrable. First Light tried, then Dark, but none prevailed. Finally, the Two took it upon themselves to create a new sort of being. They tried it upon animals first, of course, since animals were the perfect specimen, but since animals weren't as able to learn as humans, reluctantly, Light and Dark combined their powers into one human- a woman by the name of Hectate...
Continuing The Line
Hectate started the brand of what are nowadays known as "Witches". She lived in what is now called Egypt, one of the original Aryans to invade the province. The fact that she was a girl had no bearing on her powers, for in the light of the Two, gender had no difference. They poured into her all their magic, and in return got the greatest witch of all time. She was wise, strong, faithful, and beautiful. Light and Dark were more than pleased with her, and content to pour their magic within her. She grew old without confrontation, and with her husband, gave birth to twins, a boy and a girl.
Evil spotted their doings. Hectate was a girl that shone of wisdom, and sent out an aura of magic, which is how it discovered her. Instead of trying to wriggle into her heart, it decided to create another being, one of the same extreme power, yet as Hectate was reliant upon Light and Dark to support her with their magic, the being, a man, could survive without Evil if another is fearful, angry, vengeful, ext. All traits that Evil was composed of.
Light and Dark failed to see the attack. They were held off by the manifestation of Evil. Understand- Evil had not appeared in any Earth form for over a thousand years. Earth had evolved since then. Dark and Light fended off Evil, whilst Hectate was slowly seduced by Evil's perverted charms. She did not have any power to rely on. She was a flawed human; Dark and Light were preoccupied. Hensforth, she killed herself to prevent Evil from taking her. But Evil did not care for her kids. They never thought that Light and Dark would possibly grant her children their powers.
The Beginnings of a Feud To Last Many a Lifetime
Dark and Light slowly became obsessed with destroying Evil. Their feud was so filled with descructive magic, in fact, that it nearly destroyed the world in the form of falling asteroids, tsunamies, earthquakes, ect. Dark and Light were terrified of wiping out their animals and humans. So they spread their influence over another Reality, christened simply the Other Reality.
Beings of Light and Dark, as well as Evil, were "transported" when their powers manifested within them, into the Other Reality, to fight. And as Dark, Light, and Evil spread to encompass the universe, strange beings began to take on the traits of Dark, Light, or Evil, and be transported as well. Some of them weren't even vaugely human.
What You Can and Cannot Do
It is said with firm words they can only manipulate magic through words and spells. This fails to be true. Every witch has a spot of magic in them, whether it be boy or girl, animal or human. They can call upon forces of Dark or Light, either or. The powers vary. Your powers are presented to you in your eyes. You are immortal, for the time being, unless you, you know, are killed.
Powers
Ajla: Akio Nakamura (Akionakamura)
The power to control and manipulate light, in any shape or form.
Your eyes may glow or flash; you may seem transparent at times; you may float or find yourself being pulled by the breeze; you may dislike the night.
Amadhay: Zarya Bakal (KapugenWolf)
The ability to control and manipulate water. This does not give any control over elements such as soil with water, nor rocks nor living beings. Only water can be manipulated.
You may find yourself growing gills or any other thing compatible with whatever system you have. You may find yourself having adversion to fire and feel at home in the wild.
Anil: Solanna Keenan (TheHappyHag)
The ability to control and manipulate air. Can create tornados and such when powers are fully developed.
You may find yourself becoming transparent; speaking to the wind as if it were your friend; speaking aloud to create commands.
Aodh: Alexander Keith Sith’ri (deathrisesagain)
The power to control and manipulate fire.
You may find yourself with a slight adversion to water; you may find yourself adapting the qualities of fire; you may find yourself lighting up a room.

The ability to control and manipulate lightning.
You may find your hair becoming electrified; you may find yourself falling to the ground for no apparent reason; you may find yourself with a slight adversion to water; you may find yourself getting dizzy or blacking out.

The ability to send out mental brain waves; hear the thoughts of others; project one's thoughts into another's head.
You may find yourself seeing thoughts, thinking that another's thoughts are your own.
Haaron: Monique S. Walker (dawnfire07)
The power of seeing the future- in visions, transporting there, in dreams. Sadly, cannot see the outcome of the battle between the Three. Pity.
You may find yourself getting future and present confused. You may travel further than you intended if transporting there, you may experience slight nasua, headache, dizzyness, or death.
Issam: Khalid Moses (Maeve)
The ability to create sheilds and weapons from this cool-looking metal stuff that isn't found on Earth or the Other Reality but just appears out of nowhere when user is in need.
You may find yourself speaking to the metal, temporarily blacking out and thinking your part of the metal, loosing nerves in your hand, going blind.
Jasuner: Kai Suzumi (Fallen)
The ability to heal all wounds, though saddeningly, bringing somebody back to life isn't really possible for you.
You may realize that to heal somebody else, you will exprience their pain while healing it. You may find yourself becoming sick more and more often, becoming wary, becoming frightened of battle.
Kenaz: Blaze (dawnfire07)
The ability to track any species through earth, air, water or fire, the ability to see through invisibility and smell others; the ability to shapeshift when the sun is out.
You may find yourself becoming OCD, not eating or sleeping for days while tracking, going insane.
Tarmo: Liade (Forensica_X)
The power of mind- the power to use telekinesis, the power to manipulate emotions, the power to control another's actions- as long as they are not attactched to any "element", a.k.a. earth, wind, water, and fire.
You may find yourself becoming evil and controlling, fighting more, appearing like you have anger issues, recognizing lies, and getting commited to an "Other Reality level" insane asylum.

So basically, the Three Entities:

have existed since forever.
And Light & Dark (L&D) are real afraid of Evil's capabilities. So they pour their powers into this human vessel after it failed in the non-thinking animals that also occupied Earth, and whoop-de-do, there's the first witch. Her name was Hectate. But Evil saw their plans to defeat it and instead of trying to worm it's way into Hectate's heart (the good yet evil choice), Evil decided to create a human vessel too. Yet this vessel didn't rely on it's maker, rely on the actual Entity of Evil, simply the components of Evil, such as anger, angst, ect.
Evil manifested and distracted L&D so that it's vessel could go and seduce Hectate over to the dark side. Yet Hectate killed herself so she wouldn't give in, and L&D couldn't assist her in fighting it because Evil was distracting it and they were too busy fending off Evil to help their wittle human. :(
But Evil didn't kill off Hectate's kids, and they inherited a portion of her powers. Oh yeah. SUCK IT, EVIL!
Aaanyways, L&D and Evil were slowly destroying the world with the battles that followed. L&D lured Evil off to spread across the Universe instead of physically destroying the Earth. So the Three entered this "Other Reality", where it was a planet too. And slowly people over ALL realities were sucked into this Other Reality, all different speices, all somehow deeply affected by the intense magics L&D and Evil gave off in their neverending battle. These people drawn in are called either witches or warlocks.
They all have nifty powers and stuff. This is about what exactly they do about being sucked from their world and dragged into some battle. Will they hang out? Eat some muffins? Discover the latest in technology? Go on a murderous rampage?

The time was ripe. Arch could feel it in her bones, a ripple in the ocean, the butterfly effect.
The river was timid that day, with the sky stretching to encompass the world, it's sapphire blue span clear and unmarred by clouds or mountains for miles; as far as the eye could see. Her eyes, green and lovely, reflected the light of the rising sun as it topped the horizon. Her lips curled up into a slight smile. She could feel a void tearing through the atmosphere- the feeling was more of a tug in her gut that told her what she needed to know. With a snap of her fingers, the air that surrounded her began to pull in on itself, and accompanied by a small pop, Arch disappeared.
"Ahh," she sighed when the familiar surroundings of the Market engulfed her. The hustle and bustle of the ABRs, with their stocky movements, perfected expressions. "Hello," she cried cheerfully to the closest, a female rabbit (doe) with shaggy black hair and sparkling silver eyes. The ABR wiggled its small tail, immediately beginning to hop over for a chat, but Arch turned away, signalling dismissal. The ABRs did speak; Arch found communicating with others rather comforting. Though perhaps the new arrivals would not, if they had the gift of, well, ears. Once a blob had turned up from a foreign planet. It obviously could see and breathe, but did not hear nor bleed. It unnerved her. Arch had been almost glad when it died.
She shook away the memory, content to perch upon a nearby chair. When the echo of a small whisper, a scratch, really, caught her attention; Arch turned her head, blonde curls bouncing, already knowing what would be before her. A small white rabbit observing her. She moved her pale fingers to her shoulder, patted it once, then sat still for a moment. The rabbit approached her, sniffing the air delicately before leaping unto her lap, and after her shoulder. They both examined the scene.
The Market was in truth a collection of stores- like an outdoor mall, one of the transportees had commented. Arch nary understood what in fact a mall was, and concluded later that it was an indoor version of the Market. She was near the cafe, the only source of fresh food for many miles. Munching on a strange orange vegetable, offering small bites to the rabbit. Arch was happy to wait, ready to welcome the new arrivals.

Khalid was nervous; though someone would have to look closely just to say she was alive. She sat, unmoving, in a desk chair beside the heavy oak door. Her long fingers, appearing pink under the glare of the flourescent lights, were curled around one another, but rested limp in the cross of her legs. She was wearing makeup, something Khal had never done before. The mascara felt heavy on her eyelids, and she despised it. Every other moment, she had to repress a stifling urge to rise from the uncomfortable chair and walk away. She wore dress pants and a fancy blue spagetti-strap blouse, covered by a black cardigan. Something she'd only ever wear if forced, and if she wanted this job, she needed to wear it.
God, as soon as I get home, I can't wait to put on my jeans. My jeans! She shifted just as the door opened. The butterflies in her stomach turned to steel, dropping to her feet. I'm dreading this interview, not just my clothes, realized Khalid with some shock before a void tore itself open before her. She swore, flailing her arms wildly.
What is this? she tried to scream, but her mouth wouldn't open for her. She was about to call for help, call for anything to pull her out of this despair; before remembering she didn't ask for help from anyone. Not anymore. Her stubborness getting the best of her, Khalid kept her mouth firmly clamped, trying to get a grip on her emotions; trying to wrap her mind around what was happening, before she lost her footing. She fell, and the darkness caught her...

Monique rushed through the city. She was running a fast as she could, dodging through crowds of people and jumping over small booths. She ignored the "Hey!"s behind her. She couldn't miss this, no way. Not when something like this happened. She stopped in front of her destination. Finally, this was it. The 75% off sale. She pushed her way through the girls, mostly by intimidation, and exploded into the store when the doors opened. She swiftly looked through the store, picking up everything she favored. Then she saw a silver and blue striped tank top. Oh that shirt! Monique felt as if she could die for it. She ran as fast as she could and grabbed it, only to find someone else with their hand on the tank top. Monique glared at them. "Back OFF! This is MY shirt."

Monique had in fact won the shirt and stalked off from the store, smirking and nodding her head proudly. She felt thirsty, so she went to the cafe. "One cafechino please." she told the waiter. She noticed a girl sitting with a bunch of rabbits. "Wow, she's a rabbit magnet." Monique muttered. She decided to go over and introduce herself. She walked to the table and place one hand on it. "Hi! I'm Monique. Nice to meet you." Monique didn't really care if she knew thew girl or not. Really, she would have to make her first friend on this planet sometime. She looked at one of the rabbits and petted it. "I know a place this little guy would love, it's a moor with a big forest behind it and a huge lake not far off. I'm going there right now. You could come along if you like." Not waiting for the girl to answer, she grabbed her waiting cafechino on the counter and stalked off to the moor. She sat under a large, beautiful cherry blossom tree. She sipped her cafechino and sighed. "This is the life."

Blaze padded through the moorland in her jaguar form. She reached a hill and looked out over the water. It looked beautiful, shining with the reflection of the sun's rays. There was only one thing that threw her off. To Blaze, that water was death. Usually her kind loved water. But not her. It killed her mother, and even though she would never admit it, she feared water would be the reason behind her end as well. But she ignored the water and smirked. This place was PARADISE, to her anyway. A forest to play in, a moorland to run around in, and all the food you could eat. The only negative, water. She tried her best to not mind though. She took 3 steps and then froze. She sensed someone up ahead. Blaze crouched and let out a low growl. Her eyes flashed. Blaze was not welcome to people intruding on her territory, it was her instinct as a jaguar to be territorial.She let out another growl and ripped through the bushes, ignoring the branches from the plants and tree scraping against her skin. She burst from behind one last bush and leaped, landing in front of a startled girl that had a cafechino in her hand. Not for long though, since Blaze knocked it away with her tail. "Who are you? And why, are you on my territory?" She muttered threateningly.

She noticed a girl sitting with a bunch of rabbits. "Wow, she's a rabbit magnet." Monique muttered. She decided to go over and introduce herself. She walked to the table and place one hand on it. "Hi! I'm Monique. Nice to meet you." Monique didn't really care if she knew thew girl or not. Really, she would have to make her first friend on this planet sometime. She looked at one of the rabbits and petted it. "I know a place this little guy would love, it's a moor with a big forest behind it and a huge lake not far off. I'm going there right now. You could come along if you like." Not waiting for the girl to answer, she grabbed her waiting cafechino on the counter and stalked off to the moor. She sat under a large, beautiful cherry blossom tree. She sipped her cafechino and sighed. "This is the life."

Blaze padded through the moorland in her jaguar form. She reached a hill and looked out over the water. It looked beautiful, shining with the reflection of the sun's rays. There was only one thing that threw her off. To Blaze, that water was death. Usually her kind loved water. But not her. It killed her mother, and even though she would never admit it, she feared water would be the reason behind her end as well. But she ignored the water and smirked. This place was PARADISE, to her anyway. A forest to play in, a moorland to run around in, and all the food you could eat. The only negative, water. She tried her best to not mind though. She took 3 steps and then froze. She sensed someone up ahead. Blaze crouched and let out a low growl. Her eyes flashed. Blaze was not welcome to people intruding on her territory, it was her instinct as a jaguar to be territorial.She let out another growl and ripped through the bushes, ignoring the branches from the plants and tree scraping against her skin. She burst from behind one last bush and leaped, landing in front of a startled girl that had a cafechino in her hand. Not for long though, since Blaze knocked it away with her tail. "Who are you? And why, are you on my territory?" She muttered threateningly.

Alright, No problem, quick question, the Other reality, what is it like and are there any people who inhabit it and how advanced are they? And you may want to PM me on where you were planning to go with this (Not the whole thing of course but just enough to keep us occupied until you return)

Sorry guys, I'm going to be gone for a few days- heading to Phoenix.
Firstly, I have an important question- Axel, would you mind being the Co-GM? I need someone to help me keep this RP going, & I feel bad because I'm gonna be gone. :)
You either have been in the Other Reality for a while or are just getting sucked in. I prefer we start in The Other Reality simply because it'll get the RP moving faster. Also, feel free to post anytime, you like, even if I'm not here.
That brings me to another thing- I'm in multiple active RPs, which is why I may not check or update here for two or three days at a time. Sorry, but that's the way it is. :3
And all the characters don't have to all be together. They can break off and do their own things and whatnot.
You all just POP UP somewhere or another- a dumpster or the cafe or inside a voo-doo shop. Have fun with this. :P

@Eskay: You can make another power if you wish, just like Axel did. But it has to be well-developed, and have some relativity to the story. Maybe he could be some long-lost brother of one of the characters. You can collaborate with other players to create some drama. If he's great, I'll add him to the list.

[Check the 'roles' if still confused.] And...well.. I consider lightning more of plasma than electricity, so technically he could control plasma such as lava as well as lightning, but if that isn't accurate enough, then just say he could control electricity in his normal world, but in The Other Reality, the electricity has some kind of quality that makes it unmanageable.
Since all spots are now full, we may begin. :D

So a medival-current mixture.
Yes, I would except a phenomenal character if it isn't on the powers list, but believe you me, it has to be brilliantly well-developed. But go right ahead- your chances are also increased by the fact that I love creativity, and ORIGINAL characters. :3
