Deathlike, The Changling's Story

Tommy just sighed. "Neither of you are reasonable." he said. it was funny that he called the one person that seemed to know everything ignorant. "You have no idea what the kid'll be like so that just makes no sense." He said and the Alex said he didn't care for his opinion. " I'mma give it to you anyway, you should know that by now." He said and Alex started shifting forms. "Ugh, here we go again." He said as Alex shifted. "You know what, whatever." He said, he was not in the mood the deal with any of this right now, all he was doing was fighting lately and the last thing he wanted was to fight another friend. Though the line between friend and enemy has been blurred as of late. Tommy started walking away. "Sorry about your brother." He said honestly and made his way into the hotel.

Erieda sat in front of her life tree, her legs folded and her eyes closed. Tree branches arched around each other creating a portal. A girl appeared about the age of 17. She had dark skin and long brown hair that was held a braid that hung down to the floor. More importantly, She was human. " General Erieda," She said to her, Erieda stood up, looked at the girl. " Deathlike, I have a message for the Queen." she said, her head held high. Deathlike nodded. " Tell her, Under recent circumstance, I am unable to complete my mission. I seek permission to return the Eolande." She said and Deathlike's eyes widened briefly. " Yes, Ma'am." She said and disappeared into the portal. Erieda sighed and held her stomach. "i'm sorry." She told her unborn child.

Erieda ignored Alex’s call. She wanted nothing to do with him now. She needed to get back to Eolande and have her child in peace. She knew she should tell Tommy but she wasn’t facing Alex’s right now. She couldn’t.
Soon the portal opened up again. Deathlike appeared and she bowed. “ Your request has been granted. Congratulations on your child, General” She said, her braid falling over her shoulder. Ereida nodded. “Thank you.” She said formally, her face held no emotion. They both heard Alex call her name and Deathlike, rose, two small platinum daggers in her hands, “At ease, Deathlike.” She told the changeling. Deathlike was spirited away as a child as well, Much like the real Thomas Vincent was however Deathlike was a powerful assassin, though she had no ability, she was a master in stealth combat. Erieda trained her herself. Deathlike looked at her strangely. “Are you sure, General?” She asked and Erieda nodded. “Yes, Let us take our leave.” She said and Deathlike made her way into the portal. Erieda looked back at Parkwood for a moment before stepping inside herself. The portal however didn’t close right away.

Erieda and Deathlike passed through the portal with ease. Erieda took a breath. SHe was home but she felt empty. Alex wanted nothing to do with her or the child and though she was angry, she was heart broken. Deathlike looked at Erieda. "Are you well, Ma'am?" She asked and Erieda didn't say anything. As they walked the cobblestone streets of Eolande, Erieda heard her name, she turned to find Zii standing there. Deathlike, dropped into her stance. "Should I attack?" Deathlike asked. " No." Ereida said and then cocked her head confused. " Of course not." She said, appalled. "Do not speak of my child like it's something that can be discarded." She said and started walking. "If that's what Alex, wanted then he could burn in hell." She said bitterly. Deathlike, kept her eyes on Zii as Erieda walked on. Erieda fought tears as she walked away. She wanted to stay angry, so she would feel hurt.

Deathlike was ready to attack but Erieda waved her off as Zii spoke. She took a deep breath, held up her head. She turned to him. "We are safe. We are safety here, then would ever be there." She said and continuing her walk. She could see the Palace in the coming closer. Soon, she'd be back in her chambers. She stopped in her tracks when he said Alex needed her. "Then he should have came through the portal himself." She spat and quickened her pace. " Deathlike, Tell the Queen I have arrived." She told the girl and Deathlike nodded. "Aye," She said and disappeared.

Tommy felt Erieda's presence disappeared and he nearly panicked. He wordlessly took off toward her life tree to find Alex, sitting there. Tommy's face was hard. " Where is she?" he demanded. The last thing he knew she was pissed off at Alex and now Alex was here and Erieda was no where to be found. Her life tree was still here, which meant sh was still alive so that put him at ease for the moment.

Erieda sighed as she watched Alex walk away. She just let him go. She'll let him talk to her when he was ready. It was then that Deathlike appeared. "Master, You look a little pale. Are you alright?" She asked and Erieda nodded. " I'm fine, It's the child." She said with a light smile. Deathlike looked concerned but nodded. "What about your mate?" she asked. Erieda looked over at her. " His name is Alex." " My apologies. What about Alex." She said correcting herself. " He'll be fine." She said and because she was able to say it, it was true. "Do you remember when I slay the Dark Lord." She asked her and Deathlike visibly flinched. " Yes, Master, I do."
"It is the same. I gather. He is unsure how to feel. As it was his father he slay." Erieda said and decided to go to her LifeTree. She was very tired suddenly. She figured that must have been the child as well.

Tommy sighed at Kristina's question. " I honestly don't know." He said. He felt a lump in his throat as he thought that it was his fault that both their parents were dead. Sure he didn't kill his mother but if he weren't for Thomas Sr constantly trying to kill him and his mother taking the blows, she wouldn't have drank herself into an early grave. He sighed, "Maybe we just take this as rare moment of peace." He said and knew deep down something was around the bend. It always was.

Tommy crashed the heads of two warlocks just as he noticed Alex with Erieda. He wa glad for that at least. She’d be somewhat protective from her own pride. It was then he heard screaming. He turned to see Belle, just before she’d disappeared in the arms of a very large man. “Shit! Belle.” He stood stuck. He wasn’t sure what to do. He couldn’t leave Kristina. She was injured and his girlfriend but he couldn’t just let Belle go. Though it was really already too late. A Rock and a Flippin Hard Place. That’s where he was at the moment then he heard fall back, just as something stabbed him through the chest. He looked down to see a blood red blade protruding through his chest. He looked around to find that all the warlocks were gone. “ You have got to be kidding me.” He said and saw Erieda’s eyes widened and her come for him. He moved her away. “Get. Belle.” He said before he passed out.

Erieda caught her brother as he passed out. “ Burn it all, Deathlike? Where are you?”
“ Here. Maste...By the Queen.” She gasped as she saw Tommy bleeding. What was worse was that he was in Dryad form. Erieda sighed as she assessed the damage. “ He’ll live but he’ll be unconscious for a few days in order to heal.” She told Deathlike. “What about the Witchling?” “ Her name is Belle. I’ll scry for her. See if I can find where she’s located.” She told Deathlike, sounding much like the old General Erieda.
“ Aye, Master.”
“ We have much too many injured to go after her now.” She said. Erieda closed her eyes, summoning her power to try to find some trace of Belle. “Burn it all... I can’t see anything yet. They’ve covered their tracks.” She said and began to think. Than A thought struck her. “They aren’t going to kill her. Otherwise they wouldn’t have gone through all the trouble to cover their tracks so thoroughly.” She said more to herself than to anyone else. “ master, Your brother?” Deathlike said. “ He’ll live. I told you that. It was a silver blade. So He’ll be fine so long as he rested.” She said and gestured to the ever closing gap in his head. Deathlike still looked unsure. “ Aye, ma’am. “ She said. “ Scan the Area, Deathlike.” She said. “ Tell me what you find when you are finished.” She said and Deathlike nodded and disappeared.

Kristina was fighting, but of course Tommy was doing most of the work. She couldn't work to hard or she will start to be in pain again. She heard someone shout Fall back and then Tommy had a blade through his chest. She was behind Tommy, but it didn't reach far enough to hurt her. Erieda tried to help, but he rejected her and told her to save Belle. He passed out and Erieda sent deathlike to do as he asked. Kristina was in tears. She sat down next to him taking her hand in his and stroking his cheek. Erieda said he wasn't going to die and that he would be just fine, but it was still sad to see him this way.
