Alex smiled and let his chin rest on the top of her head. He let out a content sigh and tightened his grip on her. "Do you not like them, hun?" He asked, "Chris means no harm and you've no need to feel threatened around Juliet, she has a thing for Corbin. She lets her thoughts roam so freely, I'm surprised you can't hear them." He explained. "If they've done something to upset you, then please tell me so I can sort it out.. It's not pleasant seeing you so frustrated and annoyed".

Juliet came to an abrupt halt as her sensetive ears picked up Alex's conversation. She turned back and shot him a harsh glare, before storming back to the hotel and inside. Chris had attempted to grip onto her arm but she broke free. Her eyes fell on Corbin and her face dropped. He was inside, and they were right outside the door. An audible distance. Chris entered soon behind her and his hand hovered near her back. "What that little twit said wasn't true. It wasn't!" She shouted.

He stopped as Erieda yanked onto his shoulder, and when he sensed her anger his increased. Alex let out a loud roar and drove his fist right into Erieda's stomach, aiming to push her back a few meters. "None o' your business, tha's what" He muttered. He wasn't expecting his body to react that way, but even Chris said that he would be extremely hostile and unpredictable.

Juliet darted forward and grip on his right arm, Chris on his left. Whilst he was being held down, Juliet slammed her palm into his forehead and his entire body went limp. "Violent little buggar" She spat, leaning over his motionless body. She then turned to Erieda. "Don't worry. That's not Alex. I was the same in the first part of my Wraith life. I got over it and am able to control it. I was sent here to help him. He didn't mean that, and he'll be back to normal soon".

Chris lifted Alex onto his shoulder and walked into the hotel, waving to Theresea and Layla as he went. He placed Alex down on the sofa and sat on the arm. Juliet then walked up to Theresea and Layla and held her hands out to them both. "Hey, I'm Juliet. Nice to meet you both!". Chris walked up and stood beside Juliet, but didn't bother to say anything. He remained silent.

"Hi, I'm Theresea." She smiled giving a grin. Juliet seemed really polite, but the boy seemed a bit shy. Theresea had seen a chain of events happen, she didn't want to change her mood to figure out what just happened then, so she let the others boss each other around, and smiled at Alex leaving. Poor, Layla hadn't exactly seen the others at all, and this was not a first impression to remember. "Oh, um so...I'm Alex's friend. Part of the main six, the group, and you are...I mean in relation to the group?" Layla stood by my side, not exactly wanting to talk to anyone but Theresea, pulling on her sleeve signalling to leave.

Alex was awoken by the gentle tapping on the door. Immediatly he became aware, his glare fixing on the source of the sound. His eyes narrowed and he climbed off the bed, slowly stepping towards the door. His hand wrapped around the handle and turned it, exhaling deeply as it clicked. The door swung open, and without even a thought as to what it was he was doing, he shot forward and pinned Erieda against the wall, his hand only an inch away from her throat. He'd managed to stop himself just before he did anything he would regret. Alex backed away and went back into the room, his hand gripping around his forehead, the other tugging on his hair with enough force to have almost ripped it out.

(I'm just bringing Juliet back in because she's kind of stuck...)

Juliet wandered down the dark streets of Parkwood, her hand holding onto her other arm. An uncomfortable breeze whipped past her face, causing her to shudder and halt. Something was off. Very off. The barely noticable smell of blood lingered around her nose. She then began to pick up her pace, becoming faster and faster until eventually she broke out into a sprint.

When she reached the hotel, she noticed a few people, dressed only in ragged cloth and feathers trying to clear away Thorn's body. The cause of death was clear to her as she saw a huge hole where his heart should have been. That was surely Alex's doing. She sighed inaudibly and entered the hotel, spotting Chris sat alone on the couch.

Juliet took a seat beside him, and stared at him silently. Chris arched a brow. "Something wrong?" He asked, but was caught off guard by a loud thump upstairs. It couldn't possibly be the dropping of an object, there was too much force behind it. Juliet followed Chris' upwards gaze. "D'you reckon Alex has flipped out or something?" She asked. Chris just shrugged. "I'm not entirely sure...".

Belle ran upstairs and when she saw Alex smiling at her, she almost froze. She waved back shyly before zooming to her room and shutting it behind her. “Weird....she muttered.” before walking over to her closet to find a decent pair of clothing. After a little bit of rummaging and make up time she finally put herself together in the perfect outfit. Once she looked herself over in the mirror she descended the stairs and twirled. “Good?” She asked Chris, but someone else caught her eye. “Juliet.” She said

A large grin appeared on Chris' lips as Belle twirled and asked his opinion. "Stunning," He said. Juliet rolled her eyes and went to stand up, but when Belle spoke her name she froze momentarily and sat back down. "Yes, Belle?" She asked, getting comfortable once more. Chris cleared his throat and forced himself to stand up, closing the distance between him and Belle. "Perhaps it's time for us to go," He suggested, holding his hand out for her.

Alex turned and huffed. "I acted without thinking. I'm sorry," He replied, avoiding eye contact. "I'll... I'll be more careful when the baby's here. I'm just a bit freaked out right now, y'know". His excuse sucked, and he knew it, but nothing else would come up at that moment. His mind was blank. He found it hard to think, to process each action before it happened.

His fingers curled into his palms and his entire body was shaking. He needed rest. Without another word, he walked towards the bed and lay down on it, staring up at the ceiling with eyes that held no life.

Belle stood her ground when Juliet went towards. It was that moment when Chris stood up. "Perhaps it's time for us to go," he said hinting not for her to do anything stupid and she almost would have too. “Okay.” She said before taking his hand in hers and walking out.

Chris was just glad Belle had left without flipping out at Juliet. That fight would not be pretty. He allowed her to lead him outside, and he began to walk in the direction of Parkwood. He had a basic idea of where to take her, but it wasn't exactly a classy restaurant. It was more like a pub, that also sold food. Nice food. He let the silence linger on as they walked, hands joined. "So, what you got againt Juliet?" He asked after a moment. His eyes scanned her features, a light smile curling the corners of his lips.

Alex exhaled deeply and placed his hands over his eyes. "I don't want to talk right now, Erieda" He said, rolling to face the wall. He closed his eyes and remained silent for a while. It wasn't that he was in a mood with Erieda or anything, it was kind of like a mixture of not knowing what to say and hoping he didn't say something stupid.

Corbin sat in silence on his bed, staring blankly at the door. Juliet was gone, Theresea was off to save her family. He was alone. One choice he had was to let his mother know he was there, and have to suffer through a boring reunion, with the added frustration of having to listen to his mother's constant lecturing. The other choice was to head back to the hotel and be part of whatever drama was going on. Truthfully, he'd sooner go back to the hotel.

Without wasting another moment, Corbin pushed open the window and climbed out. He dropped to the floor, but before he came into contact with it he was in his wolf form. He shook his fur and stretched his legs out, before padding out of the back garden. He began to pick up his pace, eventually he was at his limitations for speed. Fortunatly, that was quite fast. He managed to reach the hotel in a matter of minutes.

Inside the hotel was Juliet, and only Juliet. He figured the others must have been elsewhere at the time. He nodded to Juliet and jumped up on the sofa. "Nice to see you again" Corbin said.

Alex nodded as she'd finished speaking. "Thanks for your concern," He mumbled quietly. He then felt something pressing against his back. It was an uncomfortable feeling. He turned his head to Erieda, then his eyes trailed down to her stomach. It was the child. He made no other movements or sudden actions, no words left his lips. There was silence.

Juliet's eyes fell on Corbin as he entered the hotel in his wolf form. She immediatly looked away, a light grunt escaping her mouth. When he jumped on the sofa she could've slapped him away. Then he spoke. Juliet rolled her eyes. "I'd say it's nice to see you again, but I'd be lying," She said bluntly, crossing her arms. She still avoided eye contact.

Chris smiled as Belle choked on her own words, trying to give a decent reason for the whole misunderstanding between her and Juliet. "Yeah, Juliet does sort of jump to conclusions at times" He said. It was then that he sensed a certain presence. It didn't feel good, infact it was anything but good. Almost frightening. He was snapped out of his thoughts when Belle asked where he was taking her. "Now, that's a surprise.. Just wait and see".

He tightened his grip on her hand as they approached the pub. It looked better than he'd thought. It was a friendly looking place. Decent enough to eat in. "Here we are," He said. He approached the door and held it open for Belle to enter first.

Corbin released a deep chuckle and ruffled his fur a bit. "Don't pretend like you're all pissed at me. I've done nothing wrong here," He said, his voice soft. "If you want me to start being rude then I will, I don't care. But I'm trying to be nice here, so don't hate on me". It was true. If Corbin were like his old self, he'd have snapped and probably destroyed something by now, however he was still calm. That was a good sign, one that shouldn't be taken for granted.

Chris shrugged. "I'm not ending up with either of them," He said simply. "It's not like I'm not going to get a girlfriend at one point. I just need to fall in love with that special someone. But I guess that kind of sounds a bit too.. girly for a grown man". He shook his head and walked towards the bar. The man behind it looked at him expectantly. Chris looked at Belle. "What would you like to drink?" He asked.

Juliet stood up. "And don't you act like you actually care about being nice to me. If I weren't immortal, you'd probably have snapped my neck for even looking at you. You want to hurt me? Go ahead, I don't care! I'll woop you so hard you'll be bleeding out of your ass" She spat at him, her eyes narrowed. Words could not explain her feelings towards Corbin at that moment. She hated that she loved him, and that was both confusing and frustrating at the same time.

Alex sat up, watching as Erieda's sudden awareness of his emotions. "I think so," He said, "Though I can't be sure. It's odd". He moved his arm and placed a hand on her stomach, shuddering as he felt the child's energy. "Yep, it's the baby". What a strange feeling. It's not like he was used to being around babies, but he was pretty sure they shouldn't feel like that.

Corbin shook his head and closed his eyes. His muzzle crinkled as a low growl emerged from it. He didn't want to attack Juliet, she was too much of a good friend. Though that hadn't stopped him before, so it shouldn't now. Without so much as a warning, he launched forward and pinned her to the floor. He then shifted into his human form and pushed down her arms with his hands. "Stop!" He shouted, probably loud enough for anyone within a great distance to hear.

Chris chuckled. He turned to the man behind the bar and said "Two beers and a coke, please". The man nodded and proceeded to fetch and make their drinks. Chris looked over to Belle. "I remember my first beer," He said, "It was quite some time ago. Probably around 30 years, I reckon". A few people in the bar turned their heads towards Chris, and he could've almost facepalmed. He'd either be thought of as a liar, or just a very young looking man who was buying beers for a young girl. That was a reputation he did not need on one of his first visits to Parkwood.

Juliet watched his growl, and a harsh shudder raked up her spine. All she saw was a flash of black, then a giant pressure on her front. Her vision became clear when Corbin shifted into a human. The position they were in was extremely awkward. Probably not for him, but it was for her. A small blush crept onto her cheeks and she looked away. "Could you please get off me?" She asked, her voice almost as quiet as a whisper.

"The baby.. has power," He mumbled, soon followed by a deep frown. He sighed lightly and covered his eyes with his hands. "This is going to prove troublesome, you know. How are we going to send it to school? What if it shifts in the middle of a play fight? What if it starts to glow green like you do, or poofs into a demonic tree creature? If it is figured out for an immortal, it could risk revealling all of us to the outside world aswell. Then a normal life would be too far out of reach. For all of us".

Corbin's eyes were glued to her face, but she looked away with a blush. She asked him to get off and he nodded, lifting himself up. He held out his hand for her to take, not like he expected her to, it was nice to offer, or so he thought. "Listen, I'm sorry for snapping at you. I'm not exactly the most calm person in the world. Sometimes I don't react well when people raise their voices. A lot like you, in a way". He lifted his other arm up and scratched the back of his head, his eyes creasing as a small grin crept onto his mouth.

"Nice work Chris, now everyone thinks you're a pedophile." Belle said. Chris dropped his head slightly, "Don't you think I've noticed that?" He asked rhetorically. When the bartender served the drinks, Chris grew more and more nervous. He curled his fingers around his own drink and took a quick sip as he watched her chug down hers. That wouldn't end well, especially because it was her first.

He moved a closer by an inch as she started coughing. "That was horrible." She said, "God, I feel so woozy all of a sudden...". Chris let out a roar of laughter. "Well, no wonder, you chugged it down like your throat was on fire," He added, "Maybe you should stick to the soft drinks for tonight". He took another sip of his beer and smiled, turning to the bartender once more. "I'll get a cheese burger and chips, with a side of beans. And Belle, what do you want?".

Juliet was relieved when Corbin lifted himself up with no hesitations. She just lay there for a second, propping herself up with her elbows. She watched Cameron enter, and closed her eyes with utter shock, this musn't have looked good from anyone else's view. When a hand entered her vision, she looked up to find Corbin holding it out for her, offering to lift her up. That was nice of him, but she was going to refuse just to prove a point. She was not his friend.

"Listen, I'm sorry for snapping at you. I'm not exactly the most calm person in the world. Sometimes I don't react well when people raise their voices. A lot like you, in a way." Corbin said. Juliet scoffed. She accepted his apology, but his excuse sucked. And she was not like Corbin. Corbin was a cheat, a liar, and a hopeless excuse for a friend. Why she was interested in him was beyond her.

No words left Juliet's mouth. She walked silently across the room and took a seat on the sofa, her gaze not wandering to Corbin for a second.

Alex listened to Erieda as she tried to think of ideas on what they were to do with their child. "We could send him or her to a school in OtherWorld. I mean portals are easy enough to..." She suddenly stopped speaking. Alex raised a lone brow. "Homeschooling...perhaps," Was her next big suggestion. "Sure, because either of us know how to teach a child what they teach them in school. At best we'll be teaching them how to be an emotional, power-crazy, psycopathic mess" He spat.

There was a lingering silence, Alex just assumed Erieda was thinking. But when she explained that she didn't know what to do, and shot him a sad look, he sighed. He wrapped his arm around her and pulled her closer. "We'll figure it out. Though right now, let's just cuddle and rest".

Corbin felt like an idiot when Juliet walked off without saying anything. "Fine, suit yourself" He muttered, exiting the hotel with forced steps, each making a loud thump as his feet slammed against the floor. He took a seat on the steps outside the hotel, shortly after exhaling slowly and quietly. He rested his elbows on his knees, and his palms were pressed against his chin. He hoped Theresea came back soon. She was like the only person left who he wasn't afraid to talk to.

Chris watched her walk away and rest her head on the table. He held out a finger to the bartender, gesturing for him to wait a second. He then wandered over to Belle and kneeled beside her chair. His eyes glared deeply into hers, and soon after he chuckled again. Her eyes were dazed and she could barely see, she wasn't fit for standing up. She was drunk. He wrapped his arm around her and lifted her up, bridal style. "Let's go. I'm not having a meal with someone who doesn't, or can't, make sense".

Juliet rolled her eyes at Corbin. But she'd be lying if she said his forced footsteps didn't make her flinch. She watched him sit down outside the hotel. She was considering saying something else. When she finally decided on it, she began to walk towards him. "Co-" She stopped immediatly when Theresea came and announced her arrival. A panicked gasp shot from her lips, and she ran upstairs. She didn't know the hotel, so where she was running was beyond her. Once the realisation of how foolish she was being kicked in, she came to a halt. Juliet took a seat on the top step of the stairway.

Alex liked cuddling with Erieda. It comforted him, however the extent of his pain. He rested his chin on the top of her head and grinned happily. It was then that the silent was now filled with a distant voice, of which he could only assume was Theresea. "She's back. Want to go say hello?".

Corbin's face brightened when Theresea approached the hotel. He stood up immediatly. A panicked gasp emerged from behind him and he turned to find Juliet speeding up the stairs. His eyes wandered back to Theresea, with a face of confusion. Theresea wasn't that scary. She was a healer. The worst that could've gone through Juliet's mind was 'Attack of the killer nurse'. He chuckled slightly. "Welcome back, Theresea".

The screaming from downstairs was loud enough to wake her up. She groaned and rolled over realizing she was alone in the room. She sat up, rubbed her eyes, and ran her ingers through her hair. A yawn escaped her lips as her feet hit the floor. She pushed herself up and walked out of the room. Caneron was standing there and she raised an eyebrow at him. He just waved her off and walked into another room. She shrugged walked down the stairs to see Corbin, Julia, Tommy, and the irreplaceble Theresa. She was almost in shock, but then again so many weird things go on, so it seemed normal. "Well hello there." Tommy was going to annoy her about walking down the stairs, but it's whatever.

"Too bad, I was really looking forward to that burger." Belle said. Chris nodded. He'd simply just get them to go. He'd sooner have her tucked up in bed with a nice meal than having to sit in a bar full of strangers whilst she was drunk. A barely noticable blush appeared on his cheeks as she buried her head in his chest. "You are totally embarrassing me and you're probably enjoying this, aren't you?" She added, looking up at him. Chris merely shook his head, his brown eyes staring into hers with a slight shine to them.

He was attention was drawn from her when the bartender began to snap his fingers. Chris turned his head and glared at him, but the bartender shoved two plates towards him. He walked closer to the bar. "Is it possible that you could just put all of this into one of those little take-away tubs? I think that beer affected her more than us both had expected". The bartender sighed and disappeared into the kitchen with the plates. He came back out a moment later with two tubs. Chris took them both and nudged them onto Belle, gesturing for her to hold them.

Chris exited the pub and began to walk towards the hotel, and entered without even glancing at Corbin, Theresea and Kristina in the doorway. He'd greet them later on. Chris walked upstairs, past Juliet, and stopped in a random doorway, placing Belle on her feet and taking one of the tubs. "However brief, this night was very enjoyable. Thank you".

Juliet scooted over to the side as Kristina walked down the stairs, mumbling an almost inaudible apology. Then she saw Chris holding Belle like they'd just got married, and she had to move over a smidge more. She gripped onto her forehead and released a low grow. "Why are there so many damn couples here?" She spat, closing her eyes.

Alex too got up, taking Erieda's hand in his. "Time for a reunion," He said, slightly unsure. He went to open the door, but when he saw Chris and Belle walk past he slammed it shut. His expression was horror-stricken. "My brother and my ex.. Jeez". He shuddered, his entire body suddenly going cold with annoyance. He let go of Erieda's hand and punched the door open, almost sending it off it's hinges. That's when he heard Juliet's comments on couples. He ignored it, and just stormed downstairs. Once there, he remained silent and took a seat on the couch.

Kristina rolled her eyes. "I just wanted to kill the noise, but it was just Theresa." She said seriously. She waved at her, but he mood changed along with almost everyone else in the room. She could sense emotion lingerig from inside and outside the hotel. She was just enjoying the peace. "If we stay silent will they go away?" She asked knowing the answer. She felt a slap come to the back of her head an by instinct she elbowed it. Se heard a groan and laughed. Cameon should leave er alone. "You didn't have to attack me Kris. Dryad keep control if your dragon!" He shouted as a joke but Kristin just hit him again. Cameron backed away from her and could sense what everyone else was. "Maybe we should move all the vulnerable people." He looked at Kristina and knew Erieda was somewhere. "Out of the way. Whatever is out there is pretty strong."

Bells had just finished her chips when she delta chill roll down her back. "Oh shit." She whispered before jolting up and looking out the window she ran a frustrate hand through her hair and ran out the room and stumbled down the steps and out the door just as quick. She looked around and saw them. All 79 to be exact. "Shit, shit, shit." She repeated before walking back inside. She faced everyone with scared eyes. "You all need to leave, like now." She said running back to the window and looking outside. "Shit, why the fuck can't they leave me alone." She muttered watching them approach even closer.

"Jeremiah!" He yelled and a teenager with the muscles of a god came. "Yes sir?" Jeremiah asked. "As soon as we enter i want you to grab Belle with one arm and fight with your other, understand?" Jeremiah nodded and he ran towards the house followed by the army. "Let the games begin." The warlock chuckled and followed

Corbin too felt the multiple presences gathering around the hotel. A thundering snarl rumbled in his chest, causing him to shift. "You've missed quite a bit," He said to Theresea, before darting forward to join the fight. A few ran towards, poking staffs at him. "Fools" He spat, launching forward to maul them. They were harder to kill than average humans, but not hard enough to prove troublesome. Erieda and Kristina seemed to be cutting through them with ease. Funny.

He would have been able to fight at full force for quite some time, but one of the warlocks raised their staffs and sent a powerful gust of wind into his ribs. He whimpered. Corbin's anger increased. He eyed the warlock who'd injured him with cold eyes, but a large small. He shifted back into his human form and in a flash he was gone. Suddenly Corbin was in the air above the warlock, dropping down on him at an amazing speed. He slammed his fist into the warlocks head, then again, shattering the skull. Corbin then picked up the staff and stabbed it straight through the warlock's chest.

He shifted back into his wolf form and began to tackle and maul some more warlocks.
