Kishan

"Okay, so I tried to kill you, but that doesn't mean we can't be friends, right?"

0 · 753 views · located in Anywhere but the Lab

a character in “The Outside”, as played by BlueWind_22

Description

Name: Kishan

Age: 20

Gender: Male

Mutation:
- ShapeShifter: Just like Kyra he is half tiger half man. He can shift whenever he wants to.
- Telepathy: He can read minds but he isn't too good in that area. He can communicate with humans when he is in his tiger form but he can't dig into people's head like Kyra or Nudge.
- Inhanced abilities: Like Kyra he is super fast and incredibly strong. There is something different about his abilities though. He is way stronger then Kyra but isn't as fast.
- Emotions: This is something different. He can feel other people's emotions and he can sort of make them feel different, feel things that aren't real and he can even bring out the hidden emotions in people.

Weaknesses:
- Tiger instincts: Unlike Kyra, he is alot closer to the tiger in them then her. He acts more tiger, more animalistic then Kyra and listens to his instincts. You can say he is more attuned to his tiger self and sometimes forgets his mission or goal. He gets so angry his tiger takes over and he is a boiling pot of rage. He is very dangerous when this happens but he forgets his mission. He also likes the feeling of being free so he rarely finished his missions because of his laziness and tiger self.
- Lightning and Thunder: Even though he won't admit, he hates thunder storms because he's afraid of Thunder. The loud noise just freaks him out and he runs off, tail between his legs.
- Dogs: So he is a cat and he dislikes dogs. He isn't afraid of them but they annoy him with their constant barking and drooling so if you have pet dogs. Then just set them loose and he leaves. He tries to avoid them best he can but if he sees a dog he takes off, not wanting to hear their barking sounds.

Description:
Human Form:
In his human form, he is about six feet tail and weighs twice as much as Kyra. He has black hair and cobalt blue eyes that glow in the dark. Just like Kyra his eyes change color, but they can only change two colors and that is cobalt blue and a blackish blueish greyish mixture. He wears a black leather jacket with a white shirt underneath and wears black jeans.
Image
Tiger Form:
Kishan is a white tiger that is larger then Kyra about five or six inches. His fur doesn't change colors like Kyra during the season but stays white all the time. His paws are large and have retractible claws that are somewhat shorter then Kyra's while his teeth are about four inchs long in this form. He can purr but he doesn't do it often.
Image

Personality: Kishan is a very odd person. He enjoys poetry which is totally weird for a guy like him to like that. He is a very confident killer and can match Kyra or anyone in a fight any day. He likes to get into trouble alot and even causing trouble for his employers and allies. To him, thats just a way of having fun and exploring. He is very curious of things but is silent and thoughtful when observing new objects or creatures. He examines their behavior and basks in the trouble he causes them later on. Kishan has quite a temper that even blows past Kyra anger. He can get extremely angry and will often use violence as a solution to every problem that gets him.... unreasonable. When angry he can't think and just reacts. Despite his temper his can be funny and actually tell jokes when he wants.

Fears:
- Thunder/Lightning: This is also one of his weaknesses because he is afraid of the loud noise. Loud noise like music or a bomb won't freak him out but the thunder and lightning will. He high tails it out of places that rain alot and have thunder storms. He isn't afraid of electricity or technology but the sounds.
- Different hair color: He likes his natural hair color and freaked when one of the expirments tested in him turned his hair red. It was only red for awhile but he did take his anger out on the labs sciencetists and gaurds. So, he is afraid of his hair turning white or grey or any other hair color but black.
- Losing his friend: Kyra has been his friend.... well since she came but they aren't in a good spot now, since some intense arguement when Kyra was eight. Even though he is angry at her he doesn't want to lose his friend.

History: Kishan chose to become what the Lab made him today. He wasn't forced to become a shapeshifter but chose to, willingly. He enjoys it and doesn't like normal humans or mutants. He didn't grow up in a cage or behind bars like most mutants did but lived in a giant house with the 'Creepy Man.' Today he has his own estate though in the mountions far from any humans. He learned regular kid things and became the U.S's top mercenary, er, underground mercenary. No ones knows about his abilities but Kyra who had probably forgotten about him.

So begins...

Kishan
Kishan watched the scene unfold. Matt had just used his shadows to conceal him and the human girl that had been with them. Then the ambulance people came out did some things to Kyra like checking her pulse and other stuff, but when they put her in the back of the ambulance, he stepped out of his car and stalked over to the back of the door quickly. He yanked the metal door off it's hinges, dragged some lady out of the back and through her harshly into the pavement. He heard a loud thud and some cracking, he approved of the sounds and dashed to the front of the truck. Opening the driver's door he pulled the guy out by his shirt and practically shoved him at the two suprised police officers. He heard some shots rang out, but they were just missed fires. Walking very quickly to the back of the ambulance he jumped in and jumped out holding the unconcious Kyra to his chest.

Not even bothering to look at the spot where Matt and Sabrie had vanished at, he moved directly to his car. He opened the door as he held Kyra with one hand, and then leaned in placing Kyra in the passenger's seat. He jumped, started the car and drove the heck out of there as if his tail were on fire.

Kishan was on the dirt road to his... house... Well he didn't live in a house but a Mansion where the creepy man would show up at later. He didn't want to see the creepy man or do his dirty work but how could he have turned this mission down, when the mission included seeing his best friend again. He glanced at Kyra as he turned a corner. She looked peaceful and almost human, but he knew better. Underneath her human disguise was a tiger waiting to be released to kill and destroy... and even love? He looked back at the road, cursed, and quickly changed the direction of the car, missing a tree by an inch or two. He looked back at Kyra, shook his head and shut the car off, parking in front of his mansion.

Kishan
Kishan whistled a tune as he opened the passenger door, picked up Kyra and carried her into his house. When he entered his house he didn't expect the Creepy Man to be there... waiting for the arrival of the package. The creepy man was sitting in the library which was where Kishan headed following the scent of cigars and other things. He gritted his teeth, practically tightening his grip on Kyra, who let out a moan in return of the harsh handling. Relaxing his hold, as he tried to calm himelf, to stop himself from hurting the creepy man who could easily dig in his pocket, press a button and Kyra would be dead. He couldn't allow his best friend to die even by her own father. He stepped in the library.

"Kishan... Set her down, and let me take a look at her." The creepy man stood, strode over and pointed at the sofa. Kishan set Kyra down gently only because of wanting his hands free to strangle to creepy man to death... in his imagination not for real. It was sad to visualize such a thing when the real thing was in front of you. Kishan was bored, angry, and silent, trying not to insult the man who could kill him and Kyra pressing only a button. "She's... asleep." The creepy man raised his eyesbrows, then dug in his pocket, pulled out a remote and pressed some buttons. "She should be awake in a second or two.... You'll need to... twist her memories... Remember I can't be around when that happens. So the papers on the counters of... our version of her memories..."

Kishan listened with half an ear, completely focused on Kyra for the moment. He didn't even notice when the creepy man left.

Kyra
Kyra felt the pull of... something. She opened her eyes. The light was blinding but only for a moment as she sat up observing her surroundings, including Kishan who was staring at her weird. It freaked her out but she shook it and growled, "Where am I?" "Six? Number six don't you remember me? I'm Kishan... remember? Your... friend." Kishan replied, way too quickly. Kyra blinked, as she stood without thinking moved in front of Kishan and punched him right in the jaw using the entire force of her right arm. Kishan staggered for a moment, then grinned at Kyra. "You do remember... Well remember even though you don't remember." Kyra shook her head confused.

The Calico Cat
The Calico cat was called many things but he was content with just being called Calico or Biluata. He could clearly see Matt and Sabrie, which made him meow as he walked right into the shadows flaunting right up to Sabrie's knee. He started to rub himself against her as he purred. "The goddess, Kyra." He meowed. "Is in the, woods. With her..... friend. I can lead you to her... If you pet me." He said the words clearly to Sabrie, knowing the curse should be working now and that the human would understand. Plus, he knew Kyra stuffed the cat language into Sabrie's head before getting sick.

The Calico Cat
The Calico cat puffed up, and half hissed, half meowed at the arriving stranger, named Camelion. That human wasn't a good human, darkness followed him like a cloak and it's wasn't the good darkness like Matt's shadows. He let out another hiss and raised his tail forward like a scorpion raising it's tail to defend itself. His ears laid back he spat at the trouble maker in disguise. "Not a good human. Don't trusssst, him. Follow meee... Run!" The cat spoke to Sabrie before taking off for the trees running from the shadows thinking Sabrie and Matt were following.

Kyra
Kyra licked her lips then looked around again, looking for a way out here. There was something familiar about Kishan, and there was also a feeling of... anger at Kishan. She didn't know what he did but she was angry at him. She couldn't remember so she was just going to do as he says. It was also sort of a relief to meet someone who knew about her past. She wondered if Kishan knew Matt or Sabrie, but she snapped to attention as Kishan cocked his left to his head and stared into her eyes, as if searching for something. Then she felt a cool then warm sensation in her mind as Kishan's eyes locked on her eyes again.... Then she felt it: A twisting and ripping feeling in her head. She didn't know what happened but she was mad now.

Kishan
Kishan stared into Kyra's natural blue eyes as he started to work his magic. He probed her mind for hidden feelings, thought and instincts that he could use against her. He went through her head again and... Bingo! He knew Kyra was angry and mad at the white coats, and the world but he didn't know she was that angry. He jumped at the hidden emotion and twisted it into anger at the other mutant, not the white coats. He ripped her anger apart and multiplied the peices, encouraging it to grow and build like wild fire. It didn't take long and then he broke eye contact and saw the outcome.

Kyra
Kyra growled, as Kishan started speaking quickly, not wanting to get clawed to death. "The mutants you were with... Matt, Dusk, Amp and Nudge, every mutant that you were with are all liars. They're the bad people, and they're trying to destroy our... friends." She shook her head then her nails became claws as she felt the ripping sensation in her head again. Than she remembered all the mutants she had been in contact with in the last 42 hours. Their faces went through her mind and she knew they were responsible for her... amnesia. In return she would destroy them. Crush them to peices and throw the peices into the ocean and watch as the sharks devoured every particle of them. Angry, she bared her teeth and shifted into her tiger form snarling and roaring at nothing in sight. She was coming up with ideas on how to slowly, painfully make every one of the those liars pay for erasing her memory and trying to hurt her friends.

Kishan
Kishan hid a smile as Kyra fell for the mixed up memories and feelings. She had run right into his hands and it was easier then before. He knew this was too fast for her, so he took it slow and started re-shape her memories and emotions, forming them into what he was asked to do. He made memories of the white coats friendly and relaxing, while making memories of spending time with her friends horrible and terrifying. He just switched the feeling of the situations do as he pleased. He stared into her icey blue tiger eyes and kept switching her memories and feelings around, and bringing out the destructive beast that she kept hidden all the time, to the surface.

The Calico Cat
The Calico cat turned and hid behind one of the bushes. His eyes were wide and his fur was still standing on edge as he waited for the humans to follow. He saw Matt get hurt and growled. His ears flexed backwards as he sat down, waiting for Sabrie to notice the wounded human. He was their guide not their healer and so he would wait until they realized whats happened. He also needed to tell Sabrie that they needed a vehicles to take them to their destination. You need to hurry, time is running out. He looked up at the skies and nodded. Remember they need to choose.... which path... they take. The voice in his head went on, pausing between words then faded. He looked at Sabrie and meowed.

Kishan
Kishan sighed as he watched Kyra fall over. He did that sometimes, use his power for too long on another mind and they would fall unconscious as they started to tolerate their messed up mind. He was also hungry from the loss of energy, which was lost in the process of.... twisting Kyra's memory around. He walked into the kitchen, peered inside his frigerator and snorted. "Humans and their tastless food."
Kishan stalked outside, his movements becoming more fluid and... predatory like. His eyes brightened as he shifted, into a white tiger bigger then Kyra. His sneezed and took off into the forest following an unseen trail to his usual hunting grounds where deer were plentiful for the entire spring going to summer time. During winter he usually had to go higher into the mountians to find food, which was his favorite time of the year. He stopped and waited when he didn't spot any deer in the feild.

The Calico Cat
He saw Matt run off with Ash and growled as Sabrie and Kinarie joined him in his hiding place. "There is a path. It goes straight to the mountion. Follow it. It leads to the house. Kyra and... friend are there. Caution. Follow it." With that he shot out of the bushs sprinting after Matt and Ash. He was going to claw his eyes out for running off. They chose this path. Guide them. He glanced up and nearly tripped which made him angry. Cats didn't trip and they weren't supposed to be running after humans. He didn't even want to be running. Why!? Why couldn't they just do as they were told? He stopped, meowed then sat down and just merely looked up. With an angry meow his eyes shimmered then he faded.

Kishan
Kishan trudged into the house, still in his tiger form, he yawned then closed his mouth with a loud snap. There was no blood on him but you could tell he had fed from the way his stomach bulged a little. He sniffed as he thought of the large buck he had hunted down. It wasn't quite a beauty from all the scars it had but it was food and it gave Kishan some more energy to do some more memory twisting. He glanced at the couch. Then again he could just fall asleep and do that later. He thought it over for a second then decided to just lounge around for awhile which of course would lead to falling asleep for about... six hours. Careful not rip the expensive leather material he stepped onto the couch and lied down, resting his head on the black pillow. With a hmmruppff he was out.

Kyra
Kyra blinked. She had watched the white tiger fall asleep on the black leather couch and she was staring down at him now. He was huge! Taking up all the room on the couch and was using a giant pillow that was the exactly the same size as his head. She blinked again then inhaled. There was the scent of deer flesh on him but not a drop of blood on him. There was also a faint smell of blood on him. Licking her teeth, not even realizing she was five inches smaller then Kishan she walked out the open sliding doors. She wasn't angry anymore mostly because there wasn't a mutant in sight she headed in the direction of the town. Something was driving her that way but she didn't know what. She just knew she needed to get there, to see something. A feeling of wrongness filled her as she thought of seeking out the mutants and killing them. She shook it off and then she smelt him. The creepy man. He was behind her. She looked around then focused on him.

"Tch, Tch, Tch. You should know better Krista. You can't leave without it." The creepy man was holding a giant thick white collar. Inbedded on its side were real diamonds that looked like spikes, and they looked very sharp. She hesitated but shifted into her human form and took a step forward. Before she could reach out for it, a voice spoke out from behind the creepy man. "Hold it." Kishan walked out of the house staggering a little bit.

"I thought... You said she wouldn't be ready for her first mission until we were sure the.... Twists in her head would hold." Kishan spoke carefully with his eyes on Kyra. The creepy man grimaced then glared. "She clearly looks fine. She should be able to deal with those.... ruffians within 24 hours. Unlike you who was spending his time lazying about when you should be helping her take them out!" The creepy man was yelling now and it hurt Kyra's ears. "I'm not your pet!" Kishan yelled looking like he was seconds from shifting. Kyra wanted to leave and fight something and she wasn't going to let them argue about it.

"I'm fine. I can... deal with these... R-ruffians." Kyra spoke a little unsure about talking. Kishan looked at her, his face clear of any emotions now. The creepy man stepped forward and then put the collar around her neck. She pulled back as soon as she heard it snap shut. "You know their names and what they look like. Destroy them." Kyra turned ready to race off when the creepy man halted her. "Hold it. Here." He held something out again. It was a jackal knife. She knew what it was and who used to own it. She grabbed it and then shifteded. The knife would be in her hands when she phased back so she didn't worry about it.

The collar on her neck didn't feel right in her tiger form but she ignored it as she raced toward the town. She was using the path that the Calico had told Sabrie about. Of course she didn't know about that so she kept running, nothing but a blur.

Kishan roared as he swiped a vase off its pedistal and turned right before it shattered against the wall. Why!? Why now of all times! He thought angrily as he looked down at his claws, replaying the conversation with the Creepy man right after Kyra bounded off...

"You said she wouldn't be called in until we were sure!!!" Kishan has practically roared in the Creepy Man's face doing his absolute best not to phase. Of course, the Creepy Man didn't do anything but walk back into the house dropping a cigar bud on the ground. "Kishan. I got another job for you. Were having some... complications with one of our inventions. We need you to capture and retrieve one of Krista's mutant friends." Kishan growled then settled on a price that would be pay back for sending Kyra out so early. "Fine. 90,000 dollars should do. The creepy man looked at Kishan with hate-filled eyes. "15,000 dollars and no more" Kishan sighed then nodded as the Creepy man left....

Kishan snarled once more before clawing his black leather sofa in half. He shifted into human form and managed to push the rage back, so he wouldn't shift again. Whistling a melodic tune, and feeling melacholy he stalked out of his mansion and jumped into car, than drove away.

Kishan
Kishan spat on the ground at the thought of stepping into that place, and coming face to face with one of those... Insects that thought they could change his Kyra into a... A tamed pet! He growled at Kyra for no reason and then stepped forward, his movements stiff and brisk. Snatching back the peice of cloth he'd thrown at Kyra he turned and threw it into a bush. "Dumb, Idiotic, Mother Flipping, Plant eating, Monstrous Human! Why?! Why would you do such a thing Kyra?! Fraternizing with the inferior beings! Because of your little tricks and ideas of fun yo-" His words of rage were cut off as his phone started ringing. He took one look at the caller ID and snarled. A human wouldn't have been able to see what he had done but Kyra could. He had turned and threw the phone at a tree smashing it to peices, then was back in the same place looking at Kyra as if she was a rat in the kitchen.

"Now we have go to that... Hell hole and talk with some normal human!!!!!" Kishan was beyond rage now. What happened to his Kyra? The one who enjoyed slitting throats and ripping humans to peices? That was his Kyra, but this newer version of her, wasn't his anymore, but someone else's. Matt. Dusk. Amp/Blast. A low gutteral sound started in his throat. He could still smell them on her even though she hadn't been in their presence for sometime. She belonged to them now. Not his, but theirs. He had claimed her first and so she should have remained his, but no! They had to come along with their ideas of escape and friendship, and taint her with... The idea of peace and being a true human.

Kishan snorted at the idea. There could never be peace. At least for a long period of time. Humans weren't built for it. They would always try to claim what they could not have and make a fuss over that, which would lead to war or battle.

Kishan raised his hand, ready to strike Kyra, but then... He dropped it and looked away. "Lets go before we draw someone's eye. Just follow me..." He stopped talking and added the rest using telepathy. "We're supposed to.. Contact some human dubbed Carmine and report to her about 'Project Black Lightning.' Anyways, your mission has been put on pause for awhile." Kishan rubbed his jaw for awhile then sprinted into the forest.

Kyra
Kyra just watched and listen. Kishan was acting a bit... Off, but then again this was how he always acted. She didn't really bother anymore. Funny how this seems to be... Normal for me, even though I just came into contact with him this morning. She smiled at the thought. Normal. Hah! There was nothing normal about her or Kishan. They were, in a normal human's perspective, Werecats. As Kishan took off, she stayed around for a minute observing his direction and the weather, then leaped and shifted into her tiger form. Shaking out her fur coat she sprinted after Kishan, totally unaware of where they were going.

Kyra
Kyra didn't where she was. All she did was follow Kishan and ended up... Here in front of a building. They had traveled for sometime which meant they had travaled for about three or two hours for a human, but they weren't entirely human so it took an hour or so. She didn't mind running but running behind a fuming mad person? It wasn't at all a nice experience. She didn't know how mad he was, but everything within a mile radius of them was probably dead from his sucking their heads clean. That was something Kyra was never really good at. Sucking someone's head clean meant taking a creature's energy until nothing is left, leaving only a dying person.

Anyways, returning to the man topic, Kyra, still in her tiger form stared at the building, studying it's structure and angles. The building seem to just be a soda can that was ready to burst, holding in a bunch of sorrow, pain, desperation, hatred and anger. So much evil feelings bottled up inside, she was suprised it actually looked like an average building. Then again, thats how humans were. Wear a mask or disguise, pretend to be something better just to hide the secrets and lies they wish lay unseen. She shook herself, barely realizing that Kishan had already shifted into his human form.

"Come on, bilauta." Kishan scowled which made him look... like a pirate. Kyra morphed back into her human form, which seemed to make him stare. "What?" She looked around her then returned her gaze on him. "What are you looking at?"

Kishan
Kishan was... distracted. He was watching Kyra. She was in a crouch, her left hand on the ground while holding the Jackal knife in her right. Her brown hair and the icey blue eyes. His Kyra. She will be his Kyra from now on, and no one else's. She was his beautiful Kyra. He diverted his gaze then remembered his objective: Warn Carmine. He nodded, turned and strode up to the door with Kyra silently following. He didn't care who got in his way, but they would die with one swift blow or a good mind sucking. Practically throwing open the doors, he stalked into the building ignoring any stares that were directed his way. He wasn't good at sending thoughts to others but he was good at sucking them clean and location people. Right now he was searching for Carmine.

It was a good thing he had taken the life energy of the forest creatures because this would take alot of energy. For Kyra it would probably be an easy task. He thought bitterly of how strong Kyra was mentally... And physically. He growled then tried to focus but it was hard, for he could feel Kyra's silent presence behind him, following him.

Kyra
Kyra turned her head to look inside some rooms, but after looking into the first one... she didn't like it. So she kept to watching Kishan's back and occasionally sparing some strangers a few glances. Just like Kishan she was using telepathy to search the minds of the people here. Like a elastic band she stared from one wing, finding some tortured souls then going into another where some scientists were. But.... Then she felt some other minds. Minds that were familiar. So familiar. Dusk. Nudge. Faith.

Like a beacon calling out a distress, Kyra stopped following Kishan and started her way toward their location. She felt angry, and... Something else she could not name. Within two minutes she came to some weird door. A door. They were behind it. She tried the handle. It was locked. Her jackal knife was in her hand. It wouldn't work on this so... But... No... They were the enemy... Enemy, not friends... What was a friend? She couldn't think straight. Her memories told her they were bad and... the opposite of what the scientists and gaurds were.

Kyra tried the handle again, but this time she broke it. She paused... She wanted to rush inside and tear them to shreds... But another part of her... Wanted to rush inside and... Protect them. She didn't know what to do.

Dusk? Why here?
"They found me" she managed to gasp out "At the hospital, they wanted information"
He moved over to her and almost fell against her side. She let out a small gasp, as instinctively her body recoiled to avoid being hurt.
Dusk okay? No, Nudge stupid, Dusk not okay. Dusk hurt. Need make Dusk not hurt.
She gave him a weak smile.
"I'll live" the sentence instantly made her loose the smile. Not for long. The thought was completely unwanted. How long would she last here? She wasn't use to this treatment she doubted she'd live over a month. In some ways that was better then living here. She looked down at Nudge. He was so much smaller then he should have been. That could have been me she thought, it could have been anyone. Truly she shouldn't pity herself, he'd gone through more pain in a day then she had her whole life, except for maybe today...He obviously wasn't much better off.
Dusk no sleep. Stay awake. Nudge need Dusk no sleep
"I won't" she whispered "I promise"
She couldn't if she tried. The pain stopped it. Sometimes pain made your body slip into subconsciousness, however Carmine had down her job too well. Her wounds weren't something that would allow you the luxury of sleep.
Suddenly the door crashed off it's hinge, and Dusk's eyes widened as she cringed, expecting a nurse to come in and haul her back to where she'd come from.
That was when she saw Kyra.
"Kyra!" her voice was raspy, but she was just so relieved "Thank goodness you're alright…"
Her sentence caught in her throat.
"Don't tell me they took you too."
If Kyra was here, who else had the lab taken...That was when she caught sight of a young man with jet black hair and changing cobalt eyes. She shrank back from him. She could feel his anger, and she didn't want to be near him.

Nudge

When the door suddenly burst open, Nudge jumped and moved closer to Dusk, in the hope that she would realise he was scared. He recognised Kyra, but her mind was all wrong. It was Bad, cold. Like the way the guards and scientists at the Lab thought. But at the same time, he could sort of sense the real Kyra underneath that. Only just though. The man who was with her? His mind was scary. So angry, so cruel.

Dusk?...Kyra-mind not right. Bad-mind. Nudge not like. Nudge scared Kyra-Bad-mind..., he 'said' to Dusk, sapphire eyes darting between the newcomers, and Faith, who was still asleep. It had been too long now, was Faith...? No, that wasn't right, he could tell she was still alive.

Maya

Daren pulled his phone out again, making it play the same tune, and the two people, the suckers they were, were following them! This was going exactly as planned.
Once they were far enough, out of sight of the building, she motioned for Daren to stay where he was, while she changed position, so that she was behind the two scientists. Just in case they tried to run back. Daren wouldn't be able to stop them, he was still hurt, but she might be able to catch them off guard.

Aramay

Aramay hides back around a corner of the hallway. More footsteps could be heard from around the bend of the hallway. The two guards Jason and Eli didn't seem to notice Aramay who was just out of sight but Diamonte did catch a good glimpse of her before she slipped further back. This was not how she wanted the situation to turn. A persistent buzzing in her head made it hard for her to focus. She could leave now, but they would still eventually figure out that she was roaming about. She looked back again one more time. A man that she hadn't noticed before now spotted her, Kishan. One glance and she could see that his eyes seethed contempt for her. Yet she had never met him before.

A sound permeated through the air. An inhuman growl followed by a female, Kyra, does something that Aramay would never have thought possible. The sight of a large tiger attacking the guard in question. Aramay jumps back as though Kyra was attacking her. "No way." She gasps under her breath. All of her muscles tensed. She could see all of them now and undoubtedly they could all see her as well. And, without need of words she put enough together to realize. The situation that she thought she was in turned out to be both far weirder, and worse than she could imagine.

"-And lock those ones and that one back up!"

"No." She blurts to herself in both protest and denial, backs up, promptly turns on her heel and sprints the down the hall away from the group with her adrenaline hopefully helping her long enough to run into another room to evade her pursuers.

Dusk

Dusk?...Kyra-mind not right. Bad-mind. Nudge not like. Nudge scared Kyra-Bad-mind…
Nudges thoughts made Dusk back up slightly, before letting out a small cry as her stomach sent tongues of fire through her body.
"Ack! Now we've seen the zoo animals, now let's go. You don't want fleas or ticks now do you? She's covered in them."
Dusk gave Kishan a dark look, before the look in Kyra's eyes stopped her short.
"There's a cure for that. We could drown her in water or we could just do it by hand. Or should I say knife?"
The knife flicked between both of Kyra's hands.
A thrill of fear sped through her once again. She couldn't cope with another, not again. Her bandaged hands shook slightly before
"Hey, did you hear me! Explain your- oops...Explain yourselves!"
Dusk looked up fearfully as she saw what she assumed was another guard. Please let him send them away and just put me back in the healing hall Dusk prayed without much hope.
"... Nudge...Dusk..."
Dusk jumped slightly as Faith appeared next to Nudge, her head resting on his shoulder. She had been unaware until now that the girl had that ability. Even this seemingly abnormal happening didn't faze her as she turned her green eyes back to Kyra and the knife, waiting.
"Found this door busted, I assume the two, the boy and the girl, busted it, so I got suspicious, But I assume you can take care of it now, I have duties to attend to," The guards words spun Dusk's head. She couldn't be left with Kyra...not in this state.
For some reason Kyra and Kishan attacked the guard, and Dusk felt hope rising that perhaps, they were on her side after all.
There was a sudden flash of light before the rather strangely changed guard gave a queer speech and rushed down the halls.
"Take this puny human to Carmine. And lock those ones and that one back up!"
Dusk felt a rock sink to the bottom of her stomach before she realise "and that one" was a girl around the corner. Suddenly the girl took off and Dusk was left to try and figure out what to do. There was no way she'd be able to avoid the two, so the only other option was stopping the strange girl, and Nudge and Faith getting hurt to much.
"Don't you dare" her voice was shrill with panic, as she tried to stand. Her feet wouldn't hold her and she slid back down the wall. She glared at Kishan as she spoke "Please. Just leave me. You've done enough."

Aramay was already having a hard time getting around when she woke up. Now that she was sprinting down the hallway it quickly became evident to both her and the guard, Eli, that something was wrong. She wavered heavily as she ran; using her arms and twisting her body in an almost flailing motion as if in an attempt to help propel herself forward. The sound of the guard's footsteps gaining on her throws her into a panic. Her adrenaline kicks into high gear but instead of going faster the jolt causes her to trip up. It was evident that something was greatly affecting her already hindered capabilities.

At the last second she makes a turn for one of the doors. Instead of stopping so she can open the door she slips and falls to her side letting out a painful, "Ahh!" Her breathing is labored to the point of gasping like an asthmatic without their inhaler. Still, she manages to open the door and scramble/half crawl into the room which appears to be another lab. The door closes behind her.

There would have actually been a chance for her to hide inside the room if it wasn't for the persistent wheezing and gasping that clearly gave away her location. Inside the lab, there's clear evidence that she plowed through with little regard for what was being knocked over and broken. Aramay can be seen in the furthest corner sweating through her clothes. She's barely standing and has to use the wall to prop herself up; leaning the side of her body against for support. The arm that's closest to the wall is clutching at her chest as she continues to struggle with her breathing. In her other, wavering hand is a sharp instrument that one would guess would be used for either surgery or torture, aimed right at whoever comes through the door. Her squinting eyes dart around wildly unable to focus on a set point making it appear that she's looking through or past whoever she attempts to focus her attention on. Her face is severely flushed red. The entire time she's slowly slumping to the floor.

Dusk
Image

A slight blue shimmer suddenly appeared her eyes. And Dusk leant back suddenly in surprise. She glanced behind her at Nudge, whose face was creased with concentration. The amount of energy he must be using worried Dusk, however with consideration of the situation, Dusk concluded it was probably far better to be exhausted then beaten senseless. Faith managed to gasp out her name, and the tremor in her voice was unmistakable. Dusk turned to see sharp blades escape her forearms, the sound of them unsheathing made her cringe slightly.
"Kyra"
The unchecked anger in the word was clear, and the look on both Kyra and Kishan's face made Dusk cringe. Her eyes were torn away from them when one of the guards drew out his gun and aimed it straight at her. Dusk's mouth went dry. Sure, Nudge was creating some sort of force field, but she doubted he'd have enough energy to repel a bullet. The male refused to look into her eyes, and he held the gun out steadily in front of him. The expression on his face seemed to hold determination, but a little uncertainty, and Dusk prayed the latter would prevail.
"I don't have time for this bullshit!"

Dusk let out a weak cry as Kishan's face contorted into a mask, and the knife became evident. His dark eyes drilled into her own, and her own eyes widened in both fear and tension. Kyra's face portrayed her anger, and Dusk wanted nothing more then to run, except for the pain in her feet, hands and torso. Her body tensed as Kyra returned to human form and took the knife from Kishan. The look on Kyra's face however, held Dusk's fears on a balance of uncertainty. On one hand she looked furious, yet there was a sort of protective emotion playing on her face as well. Her breath caught in her throat, as she waited to see whether she was to be stabbed or shot.

Carmine

She watched Gabriel go down the hall. Dinner? She didn’t think she would have the time if her days continued like this one. She had met with so many people today, had a pile of paperwork on her desk that she would have to have Eriyk help her with later and she had to go make sure that the mutants were still in their place. She ran a hand through her hair, letting the dark locks swing across her back as she turned back towards Peter. Then he explained what he was doing, he was searching for Eriyk and couldn’t seem to find him. She sighed a little, there went her help for the paperwork, and fool in front of her probably didn’t think to look for Eriyk in the training room, it was where he spent a lot of his time anyway. ”Fallow Gabriel to the training room, then get moving before someone else gets that information.”

She turned the man and pushed him on his way, and he seemed willing enough as he fallowed Gabriel and started asking him questions. This day was going to be a long one and she was already getting more frustrated than she was before. There was another man that came up. By the looks of him she could tell he was another that could be easily frustrated and pushed over the edge, he seemed feral to an extent, animal like. Then she placed him, Kishan, one of the controlled tiger mutants. Their keeper must have sent him for something, which her thoughts were correct as he mentioned a Black Lightening Project. She nodded towards her office, letting him fallow her back inside. ”I’m assuming you are here to report, correct? Go ahead and speak, I have things I need to do.” She turned, pinning her dark gaze on Kishan, hoping he would speak quickly so she could get something truly productive done.

~Carmine~

She watched Kishan and Kyra, neither of them looked too happy about the situation. Kishan especially, he looked like the project seemed to bother him too much, which she found slightly understandable, as the project could harm and/or kill him if it was successful. Kyra on the other hand seemed aloof, more like she didn’t care what was going on and didn’t care either way for what was going on. The two looked at each other and she started to tap her foot, getting a bit annoyed that she hadn’t been told yet what the report was. Then she heard the girl’s voice in her head. It’s complete. The anti-mutant force field is working. They’ve tested it on some rejected mutants and the outcomes were all the same. Dead bodies or nothing left but ashes.

She smiled and nodded her approval. ”Excellent, our clients will be glad to hear that the project is done. Tell your master that I need to see it for myself then I will start sending the fields to the clients.” She put a hand on each of their shoulders and led them over to the door, in a few swift steps getting them there, not caring if they tripped over their feet or tried to resist her. ”If that is all that you came to tell me then you are free to go now.”

She was about to close the door on them when one of the guards came running up to her. It was a loyal one, as the others knew that she wouldn’t hesitate to strike them down if they showed the least bit of fear. They were guards after all, they were supposed to be tough and fearless. ”Carmine, there is someone yelling outside for you. Do we let him in or not?” She frowned, tilting her head a little, letting a few of her slightly dark red bangs sweep across her eyes. ”Him? Yes let him in, keep a close watch and bring him in.” The guard quickly nodded and rushed off to get the man outside.

Eriyk

He was in the weight room, staying off in his corner. Lift, clank, lower, clank, lift, clank. He lay there, staring at the ceiling. Pushing the weight bar up and down, holding easily over a hundred pounds on each side. He didn’t bother to count the weights anymore; he just filled it until he couldn’t lift the bar then stopped, and tried until he could. The room was filled with other guards, all of those that were off duty or those who lived in the building like he did. They were trying to outdo one another, lifting more than the others, getting into the ring and knocking their opponent around a few times. He found all of their games somewhat childish. Granted that was because all of them knew he would knock them unconscious in any kind of match, he was light on his feet, had a strong punch and never held back.

He set the bar down and wiped his forehead with a towel as he saw two men walk into the training room. One had a mask on, which he found odd but then again not too many things here would surprise him. He had seen a mutant that had controlled electronic systems, ones that had controlled the natural elements themselves. A man in a mask was the least of his worries. The other was a tall man like himself; he had white hair and a cigarette in his mouth. He didn’t know what the two wanted but they headed right for him.

Scientist

He looked down at his clipboard; there were some new mutants that had been caught from the outside. He read what little had been written down about them, one was a girl with wings, blade could protrude from her arms and she had a strong connection with shadows. The next was a boy, his physical abilities were low just by the looks of him but they found he had strong mental capabilities that would have to be further tested. The next was another girl, she seemed healthier than the others, already a sign that she was only recently changed; she had quick movements, bright green eyes and claws that slid out from her fingers.

The scientist figured she was some type of feline mutants, he didn’t need to know the exact type of feline but he did need to find out all the effects of her being change at her age, and what all she could do. By the looks of the others, they had files somewhere that could be read first. But the cat-girl had to be tested, all her physical abilities, strength, and weaknesses found and recorded. All the positive and negative effects of the serum that was used and what else could be done with her.

He nodded and made his way to the cell that was written down that contained them. He looked inside, slightly wondering why the three had been placed in a single cell. Usually the mutants wouldn’t be allowed to be near one another unless it was in the arena. He smiled a little at the thought. That was always a good way to test a mutant to find out their true limits. He found the cat-girl, coiled to one side of the cell and went over to her, grabbing her wrist and dragging her out, making sure to lock the door behind him. ”Don’t make trouble for me or I can make the next experience one of the worst you will ever have.” he kept a firm grip on the girl’s arm, mentally checking to make sure he had a sedative ready in his pocket just in case she decided to try and avoid the next tests he would have for her.

Kyra
Kyra sent the rest of the message into Carmine's head as they just walked out of the door. "The... Project, also has some flaws. It needs alot of energy to ru-" Her message was cut off short when she felt a tearing inside her head. She could feel the floor fall out from under her, and her vision went white hot. It felt like someone was squishing her out of her own body, and she was leaving it, no matter how hard she clawed or held onto it. Then... She wasn't in her body anymore.

Kyra was in someone else's mind. Camelion's mind. The cold one. It hurt to be in his head, but it also felt familiar. Then, she saw Carmine and forgot about the pain coming from the Cold one's mind. Carmine looked different through Camelion's mind. She could also feel how he felt about Carmine. It... Seemed almost impossible for him to like someone. So, she burst out sending a laugh through his head.

Kishan
Kyra was falling. One minute she was just... Doing great, and then she was falling. It took him a few more seconds for him to react, but he caught her before she fell. "Kyra." Her name slipped off his tongue like a chant as he tried to get her to wake up or something. He shook her, thinking her limp body was going to tense back in a few seconds and she'd punch him for holding her... Too close. She was too close, mostly because his tiger genes were kicking in, making him think the close she is, than the safer she'd be. "Kyra! What the hell happened?! Kyra?" He shook her again, but more harshly.

She may not have looked it but she was paying attention to what Kyra was telling her. Her feet just kept marching towards the door, wanting to be rid of them as soon as she could, she wasn’t in particularly good mood and was most likely going to end up breaking at some point and will have to take her anger out on someone. She paused slightly as Kyra’s message was cut short, Carmine understood what she was going to say, but it was strange enough for someone to cut short their sentence with her, it rarely happened anymore. Then the girl collapsed.

She crossed her arms, letting Kishan deal with it, instead of doing anything herself. She wasn’t feeling helpful and wasn’t going to lend any type of helping hand to the pair. She rolled her dark eyes as Kishan starting yelling at Kyra, basically begging her to wake up. She wasn’t going to deal with this anymore and snapped her fingers at the guard next to her office door. ”Take these two to the Healer’s Quarters. Find out what happened with the girl and send them on their way.” The guard nodded once, and took a hold of Kishan’s arm, leading him down the hall.

She ran a hand through her hair, noting the dark light outside the window in her office, one of the very few in the building. She wondered briefly if she had eaten today, most likely not, she would go get something soon, maybe have someone make a round to the mutants. That was basically when they got fed, when she remembered she hadn’t and the mutants crossed her mind at the same time. Then she turned her dark gaze to the man that was being brought to her.

Not much stood out about him to her, he seemed pretty ordinary except for his eyed colored eyes that she found notable. "My name is Cameron Leyon; you might know me under the mutant-file Camelion. I have come to you for.... help, and for a job." She frowned a little, thinking about the files she had obtained, it took her a few minutes but yes, she knew which one he was. Able to change into any other person at will. He was most likely very useful in interrogations and for spying. She nodded, ”I know who you are, and where you came from. Why would you come to me for a place, when you already have one?”

Kyra and Kishan
Kyra was trying to contain herself from pulling out of Dusk's mangled form and into her own. She wanted so badly to destroy something, anything that she could get her hands on. She knew that Dusk was guilty and she wasn't going to have it. Dusk, pull yourself together. I know what happened. Kyra's anger seemed to cool for a moment. You didn't betray them... You DIDN'T. I'll come for you... Just hang on a bit longer. Kyra pulled out of Dusk's head.

The first thing Kishan did when he saw Kyra's eyes open was let out a sigh of relief which was quickly followed by fear when he felt the anger and energy rolling off her. Kyra snarled, baring her teeth and punched Kishan in the jaw. She heard a sickening crunch and knew she had probably shattered half his face. Kishan pulled away and morphed into the white tiger, gnashing his already healing jaws. He knew she wasn't under his control anymore. Her eyes weren't baby blue anymore, but a feirce glowing type of gold.

"You son of a bitch!" Kyra spat at him as she ripped the collar off her neck and threw it at his face. "Lying, murderous, idiot!" She was shaking with anger. Her fists were clenched, and dripping red from her own claws. I should rip you apart! Tear you limb from limb! Gut you like a catfish! Tear your eyes out and stuff them down your throat so you can watch as my claws rip you apart! She shouted the rest into his head, forcing him to listen to her screaming rage, and from the looks of it, he wasn't at all happy with it.

Kishan was trying to move, to slap Kyra and force her to listen as he used his power on her, but he couldn't. Kyra was controlling him, making him stand still, making him listen. His cobalt blue eyes were shining with determination and anger, but that did him no good.

Kyra's eyes were flashing from golden to green, constantly changing, never staying the same color for more than a second. She wanted to kill him, but she needed to get to Dusk. Dusk. Dusk. Friend. Friend. Not enemy. The tiger side of her was surfacing but she pushed it back down and... She changed.

Kishan tried to change shape but he couldn't, because his stomach was burning. The blood in his veins felt cold, and strange, painful, while his insides were burning. It hurt so badly! He felt the need to vomit and to claw at his stomach to rid himself of this pain, but he stood frozen, transfixed on Kyra's changing eyes. I want you to feel this pain. Feel it, and live with it. Until one being finally cares about you will the pain stop and the one who cares will die. The voice in his head was magnetic, compelling and yet, filled with so much sadness.

Kyra released Kishan from the stiffness she placed in him and watched as he kneeled over. She watched him writhing on the ground, clawing at his stomach and smiled at the blood that he cut free himself. Her eyes were a deep black abyss, nothing in them to show. Giving a nodd of approval she walked down the hallway, toward Dusk's location, beheading anyone who got in her way with one quick blow.
