Peter Tykwer

"You desire mercy? Well you came to the wrong man."

0 · 181 views · located in The Institution

a character in “The Outside”, as played by Ceoltior

Description

~Name: Peter Donnovan Tykwer
~Age: 47
~Gender: Male
~Skills: Peter is skilled with the rapier and fencing but sharper than all of his swords is his intelligence and cold remorselessness. He is a neurosurgeon, a robotics engineer, and a pretty run-of-the-mill jack of all trades.
~Description: The left half of Peter's face is burned off and he walks with a slight limp on that same side, courtesy of the 'accident' caused by his son Michael. He has vivid blue eyes and messy blonde hair. He wears a mask around other individuals to cover up his recent deformity. In private he takes it off to brood and stoke his rage against his son so his revenge will be even sweeter.
Appearance: http://fc03.deviantart.net/fs31/f/2008/211/2/3/We_called_you_Harvey_Twoface_by_Buuya.jpg
Mask (ignore the body): http://th06.deviantart.net/fs70/PRE/f/2011/012/1/5/bio_mech_by_darkgeometryart-d3727a0.jpg
~Personality: Peter Tykwer is cold, calculating, incredibly intelligent and arrogant, but most of all, relentless. Peter has been used to a life where he has to earn something if he wants it. However, unlike most individuals, he has no threshold on what he believes can be his. If he wants something, he will get it or die trying, anything less is an intolerable weakness and a personal failure. Tykwer doesn't care who he tramples over to get what he feels he needs.
Peter has a fragile ego. Because of this he doesn't take well to being belittled, humiliated, or opposed. Nothing gives him more pleasure than overpowering revenge on someone who offended him or underestimated him somehow. Peter is unopposed to killing those that infuriate him or otherwise try to tarnish his name. In fact, Peter will usually try to ensure that those he hates die belittled and barren. He has a personal grudge against some of his old schoolmates that ridiculed him and takes satisfaction in the thought that he is superior to them, but he'd most like to see them groveling for mercy that he would deny in payback to their ridicule. He is quick to anger, but is good at keeping his temper under control.
Peter has little tolerance for laziness or weakness. If someone stands up for themselves and works hard he will respect and applaud them, if they do not keep discipline or happen to fail in some way he will despise them and trod upon them.
~Fears: Damaged pride. Being demoted. Heights.
~History: Peter Donnovan Tykwer was born and raised in America by his father Ivan Tykwer and his mother Julia Tykwer, a pair of Russian immigrants seeking a better life in the Americas. Unfortunately for Peter, his mother fell ill while he was very young and regrettably passed away. Peter was 5 at the time. The death of his mother left him under the care of his grieving father who turned to his entrepreneurial endeavors to distract himself. Yet this created a distance between Peter and his father Ivan. His father became very wealthy, but also turned to alcohol. Peter's school life was horrible due to everyone at the school making fun of him for various reasons. When he came home crying every day, his father simply dismissed him and drowned himself in his drink and his business.
This lead Peter to have a very fragile ego and be generally bitter but instead of letting it get him down, he continually strove for his fathers approval. He rose to be not only better than all those who had made fun of him, but even became the most successful student in his class. Still though his father payed him no mind. Peter was in high school by the time he was 12 and by age 18 he had graduated from the university. It was then that Peter's father followed after his wife and passed away.
Peter, having lived life independently, decided to leave behind his distant fathers legacy and move on towards other fields of work. He worked in the field of robotic prosthetic but was often discredited due to the pain involved in the integration with the nerves that his designs would cause. Frustrated, he turned towards his father's business contacts, one of which was the Lab.
He was originally appalled by the lab's brutal treatment of the humans, but when he saw the potential benefits, he signed on. One such benefit was the quiet disposal of certain unwanted people in his life. He had discovered shortly before his signing on that a prostitute he had slept with was bearing his child. Not wishing publicity or scandal, he waited till the boy was born, then had her murdered and then took the child for himself. To his chagrin the child was blind in one eye and had a deformed arm as well. Wishing to distance himself from the boy and the sour memories he brought back, Peter gave him over to the Lab calling him Michael.
Peter, though, was quickly and ironically put on the task of tending to Michael and testing some improvements on him. Likely for Peter's very apparent ambition to some day take more power than he was due. Several years later Michael performed his rebellion and destroyed the entire northern facility with a core overload. Peter was not killed in this accident, but he had half of his face melted off by the flames. He escaped the wreckage and made his way back to the lab. Peter's mishandling of Michael has demoted him which has caused the man significant grief and has stoked the fires of his anger like nothing else. Michael has damaged his body as well as his pride and Peter will not rest until he has his revenge. . . .

So begins...

Scientist

The older gentleman walked down the hall at a brisk pace. It was about time! He thought to himself, it had been ages since he had been brought someone to test out all the experiments that he had planned inside his head. So many ideas ran through his head constantly, it wasn’t a surprise that he was the head scientist here. It may have been the fact that he preferred fantasy more than reality while he was young, or that he thought constantly how he could bring that world to this one. Yes there were tons of trials and errors but it was worth it in the end, it was always rewarding.

He reached the experiment room that he had claimed as his own and went inside, swiftly closing the door behind him, his white lab coat billowing about him as he turned to the boy. He was older, late teens about. Good, he may be strong enough to survive a harsher test. He hum a little tune to himself as he moved about the room, acting as if the boy were asleep or possibly not even a boy at all and something else. He looked at the needles he had about and the odd contraptions hanging from the walls. He couldn’t decide which one to use! He turned back to the boy, he found it amusing to see what the subject asked or begged for, thinking it was the least painful or jumping on the chance to change themselves. ”So boy, have you ever wanted to improve yourself? If you could what would you change?” This also helped him think of new ideas for later on. He hadn’t had much time for experimenting anymore and children’s replies were sometimes really inspiring.

She had been in her office maybe half an hour, but it felt more like ten minutes. She never got as much work done as she wanted and something always came up that pulled her away from it. Not that she complained, she hated all the paperwork that came with running something. She would have to have someone else to the slack, make sure everything was correct and file it all. No one could do it alone yet she seemed to always be shorthanded when it came to dealing with all the paper. She had to make sure that all traces of any of the people were being taken care of, that all the expenses were covered under the keen eye of the normal government.

While in the middle of the paper work she was procrastinating on doing, she heard a commotion outside her door. Sounded like someone was trying to get in, luckily she always had a guard or two outside her door; it was common for mutants to try and riot, granted she could take care of herself. She looked up, making sure she looked like she was busy doing something as one of the guards poked his head in and told her that someone was here to see her.

She nodded her consent to have him let in the person that was waiting outside the door. She staked the papers on her desk and stood, as the man came in. She couldn’t see his face as he had some type of metal mask over his face. She frowned slightly, she liked to see the faces of the people that came to her, but that wasn’t always the case. She crossed her arms, and looked down at the man as her desk area was set a step above from where he was standing. ”What did you want?”

"Thank you. . . ." The masked individual said with a foreboding edge in his voice, giving the guard a snarly glance before entering Carmine's office. His annoyance didn't show on his face, but was very clearly in his voice. The man did not enjoy being held up for any reason, be it legitimate or no. He marched into the spacious office and stared up at the woman standing above him. The woman's presence reeked of power and an imperial air, oh how Peter hated how it filled the room in an all-too oppressive manner, but he also admired it. Few people could run things as Carmine, the iron grip and unwavering mercilessness that she harbored were an inspiration as much as they were a kick in the pants to Peter. The masked man's blue eyes locked onto Carmine and his fists clenched in fury as she spoke.
"What did you want?"
That voice, so calm and in-control and so condescending. His already inflamed spirits grew only more angry. She didn't even recognize him; one of the senior members of the Lab and a fairly well-renowned one and she didn't even remember or even remotely respect him. Not that she would. Peter thought in the confines of his headgear. She's like damn royalty! He gathered himself in spite of this and sighed. His voice was dry and breathy, like he had been breathing exclusively through his mouth for the past month.
"Really, you don't recognize me?" He reached up and tugged the mask to the left, revealing only the good half of his face, only one angry blue eye. "You don't recognize the man who was one of the managers of your recently-eradicated northern Lab?" He paused, hoping it would all sink in. "I'm Peter Tykwer, Carmine," Peter resisted the urge to suffix that phrase with 'your majesty'. "Albeit, with some new. . . additions we'll call them."
"I've come bearing some. . . Substantial news." He muttered. "You do recall the destruction of the Northern Lab, correct?" His sentences were interjected with pauses so that Carmine could acknowledge him. He would at least have that. "Do you also recall that nearly all data pertaining to that facility is gone?" He scowled behind his mask. "The mutant responsible for destroying the lab, Michael Tykwer, is running loose. Worse still, he has the entirety of the northern lab data in his head. I had thought him dead in the rubble of the facility, but he apparently made it out intact," he growled. The thought of that child running loose, tarnishing his good name enraged him even more than working with Carmine did.
"His tracking device just re-activated a short time ago. It's sending out pings from the local hospital." He leaned forwards with a quiet edge in his raspy voice.
"Need I tell you what will happen if he's discovered by anyone?"

She couldn’t quiet place at the moment where she knew that man from. Albeit he had a metal mask covering face, but the blue eyes had a fire in them that she should have remembered. Then it hit her, right as he moved the mask to the side, revealing only half of his face, but enough so she could know his identity.
"Really, you don't recognize me? You don't recognize the man who was one of the managers of your recently-eradicated northern Lab? I'm Peter Tykwer, Carmine, albeit, with some new. . . additions we'll call them. "
Peter Tykwer. Yes, she remembered the name, she placed him there as one of the scientists in charge. He was angered easily, hated being in positions of submission, where he had to look up at others instead of giving the orders. She nodded once, showing that she knew who he was now. The additions as he called them probably had to do with the mask that now covered his face.
"I've come bearing some. . . Substantial news. You do recall the destruction of the Northern Lab, correct?" This brought out another short nod. The recent destruction of the place was giving her more headaches than she would ever care for in a month and have gotten in just a few days.
"Do you also recall that nearly all data pertaining to that facility is gone? The mutant responsible for destroying the lab, Michael Tykwer, is running loose. Worse still, he has the entirety of the northern lab data in his head. I had thought him dead in the rubble of the facility, but he apparently made it out intact." All that information...intact? She knew she had lost a lot, that facility seemed to continually send in their reports late, lose files, giving her more headaches than necessary.
"His tracking device just re-activated a short time ago. It's sending out pings from the local hospital. Need I tell you what will happen if he's discovered by anyone?” She shook her head. This was better than what she was expecting. Finally some more good news about the Lab, and with all the data, she could figure out if that cat-girl was telling the truth or not.
”This excellent, and disappointing at the same time. Disappointing because he got the data in the first place, and should be punished accordingly. But excellent because now I will be able to check files and reports that seemed to be misplaced at that unorganized place.” Then the name dawned on her, Michael Tykwer. So the mutant was the man’s son. She remembered placing him specifically to keep an eye on him, to keep Peter in his place, so he knew who stayed in charge. No point changing that now.
”Find men to go and collect him. I want that data.”

Michael------

Michael feared his detection was in full, the human might have spotted him. Judging by the silhouette's size and shape against the curtain, Michael thought the figure to be male and to be of a younger persuasion than most of the other humans walking about the hospital.
Avoid detection! Remain conscious, blood loss critical. Avoid detection! Discovery imminent!"
Blood was pooling out from under the bed he was hiding under and it was growing ever larger. His arm just wouldn't stop bleeding! His left eye flickered and began to shut. The right bionic one still remained wide open and locked on the man, boy, adolescent, whoever had seen him and was approaching the curtain.

Peter------

Peter frowned behind his mask at the woman's response. It gave him joy she was not aggravated. . . But it was for that same exact reason that he was enraged. He had almost wanted her to get upset so his own anger would have some justification, but it was probably better he didn't have the chance to become extraordinarily angry. He'd have his day soon enough, but first was Michael.
"Carmine, i am not sure you understand the gravity of this situation. Michael might seem frail but he could be the most destructive and dangerous mutant we have created. I'm going to need top operatives. Might i suggest your own personal attache?"
A knock came from the door and he turned his head narrowing his eyes at the, currently shut, aperture. "We will speak later director." He said the last word with some hostility. He didn't want her position, even if he was skilled in eight different professions he was still unqualified, no, he just wanted her to feel inferior to him.
The man turned and opened the door, giving the man there a vehement glance. Peter hated being interrupted. He strode down the hallway at the brisk pace that was normal for him, holding his head high despite how bitter he was at the moment. He had to find Eriyk, he really wouldn't trust anyone else with the task of taking down Michael non lethally. Of course, he still didn't trust Eriyk, he was far too devoted to Carmine for Peter to like him. Peter respected him certainly, Peter gave everyone a certain measure of admiration if they were good at some profession or task and he was pleased with how Eriyk's personality displayed such indomitability but Peter despised how that indomitability couldn't be turned towards his own agenda. Nonetheless, there was a task to be done and Eriyk seemed the best choice for it so he strode off looking for the soldier.

She watched Peter, he didn’t seem satisfied with her answer, and she knew he wouldn’t be. She was furious that he had let someone get away, but she knew how to control her emotions and liked the effect it had on the man. She could see in his eyes that he was getting furious himself, that he wanted a rise out of her. But she wouldn’t let him have it, she would make sure that all of the information was secure first, that she could get what she wanted out of the mutant before she let rage take over and she let it out on someone. She raised one of her eyebrows at his last response that they would talk later. He was giving her an order? The hostility there showed that and she wasn’t sure whether to be slightly impressed with his tone at her, or really annoyed that he would actually do it.

But there was a knock at the door, and Peter pushed the man in. Another person for her to see, it was definitely one of those long days. She looked over the man in front of her. He seemed older, maybe a few years older than herself, blonde hair, cigarette in his hand. He seemed like someone she would hire to work here, she knew their staff was not the best at the moment, she needed knew workers, people who knew how take things seriously around here. She crossed her arms across her chest and tapped her foot, letting her black red tipped hair brush against her bareback and torso. ”Who are you? What do you need?” She always got right to the point, no reason to beat around the bush.

The man laughed, letting it ring in the air while he turned back to his instruments. ”What AM I going to do with you? I’m not sure, but there are a few things that I have in mind.” He picked up an eye glass and went over to the boy in front of him, looking at him closely. Looking over his eyes, mouth, poking at his arms and legs, deciding what would be best for results.

Peter Tykwer

"Damn illusive soldier. . . ." Peter hissed spitefully into the air. He had scoured the facility looking for Eyrik and still the man had not turned up. How did Peter expect to recapture Michael if he did not have the best of the best working on the case? Eyrik was Carmine's attache, and one of the most proficient soldiers he had seen. But he was still one of the most illusive! Where was that man?! Peter grasped the edge of his mask in frustration, the metal smooth but obtrusive, heavy. He sighed loudly, the air made a grating noise in his throat as it was forced out by his lungs. He was so thirsty, his throat was so dry, but it had always been this way since the accident in the lab. He entertained the thought of getting it fixed. He wouldn't be in constant pain and his face would be once again bearable to look upon. But he had entertained the idea before, and just as before he instantly dismissed the thought. These scientists were skilled but some were. . . broken. He wouldn't put it past them to do something horrible to him while he was under the knife. Besides, he wouldn't feel right correcting his disfigurement until the individual it reminded him of was brought to --for lack of a better expression-- justice.
He stormed along the halls looking for the soldier. Peter even resorted to asking some subordinates where the man was. Nothing useful came of it. In fact it just made him more lost. He felt humiliated, like some being above was looking down and laughing at how fate was treating him. Like he was some puppet that was being controlled and forced into a comedic relief role. Peter stomped down the hallway, one of what seemed to be millions, and was so wrapt in his own thoughts and the indecipherable map of the facility that he collided, or nearly collided, with Gabriel. The masked scientist whirled, even more flustered; was slapstick now in this farce of fate too?
"Watch it!" He snapped. He grumbled; grand, now he seemed petulant and brutish, but he still wasn't about to apologize. He gazed at the other subject in the near-collision, something seemed familiar about him.
"You were that one outside Carmine's office weren't you? While I was leaving." He paused, trying to judge the man. He seemed poised despite his lax nature. His blonde hair fell down in an almost messy and careless manner but the man's demeanor seemed to speak anything other than careless and messy. His eyes were scrutinizing and alert.
"Who are you?" Peter demanded. He felt the man would answer in a very sparing manner, the kind to provide information on a need-to-know basis, so Peter suffixed the phrase with: "And why are you here?"

She expected the man to be slapped down the moment she swiped at him; instead he shifted back and avoided her strike. In a few swift moves she was up against the wall, her gloved hand pinned above her and the other by her side. She was a bit surprised at how quickly he moved, obviously skilled in combat, but she still didn’t like him. She was about to slap him when he put a cigarette in her mouth and held a flame up to it for her. She let it light and took one drag on it, and expelled the smoke when he let her down; she took the cigarette from her mouth and put it out on her hand. She barely felt the pain, merely because she was half focused on the man’s words, he wanted all the files of the mutants, and he was called Gabriel.

She still didn’t like him, but she slightly respected him, slightly. She tossed the cigarette in the trash, not even caring about her hand, it would heal fast and the small scar there would just add to the few that she had all over, not that she cared about hose either, or kept them very long, she would get the scars removed or softened out when she felt like it. She grumbled to herself as she started getting files together, putting all the data from her computer on a flash drive. She noticed that Peter had come back, either he was going to tell her that he had gotten the team that he needed or was going to ask another that was going to get her more frustrated than this days was getting her. Gabriel asked for the personnel files. She didn’t mind giving those; she knew there were rats somewhere, each facility had a few, but you couldn’t always keep everyone out.

She got all the files together on the flash drive and strode over to the two men there at her office door. She put the flash drive in Gabriel’s pants pocket. ”Training area? You go there; you can plan on being beaten down by Eriyk in a match. It’s a few floors down.” She glanced at Peter, he looked like he had been walking for awhile, and by the gleam in his eyes, was frustrated, meaning he didn’t accomplish what he had set out to do. She frowned a little. ”Did you get that team together? The experiment that got away under your watch needs to be brought back.”

She watched Gabriel go down the hall. Dinner? She didn’t think she would have the time if her days continued like this one. She had met with so many people today, had a pile of paperwork on her desk that she would have to have Eriyk help her with later and she had to go make sure that the mutants were still in their place. She ran a hand through her hair, letting the dark locks swing across her back as she turned back towards Peter. Then he explained what he was doing, he was searching for Eriyk and couldn’t seem to find him. She sighed a little, there went her help for the paperwork, and fool in front of her probably didn’t think to look for Eriyk in the training room, it was where he spent a lot of his time anyway. ”Fallow Gabriel to the training room, then get moving before someone else gets that information.”

She turned the man and pushed him on his way, and he seemed willing enough as he fallowed Gabriel and started asking him questions. This day was going to be a long one and she was already getting more frustrated than she was before. There was another man that came up. By the looks of him she could tell he was another that could be easily frustrated and pushed over the edge, he seemed feral to an extent, animal like. Then she placed him, Kishan, one of the controlled tiger mutants. Their keeper must have sent him for something, which her thoughts were correct as he mentioned a Black Lightening Project. She nodded towards her office, letting him fallow her back inside. ”I’m assuming you are here to report, correct? Go ahead and speak, I have things I need to do.” She turned, pinning her dark gaze on Kishan, hoping he would speak quickly so she could get something truly productive done.

She watched Kishan and Kyra, neither of them looked too happy about the situation. Kishan especially, he looked like the project seemed to bother him too much, which she found slightly understandable, as the project could harm and/or kill him if it was successful. Kyra on the other hand seemed aloof, more like she didn’t care what was going on and didn’t care either way for what was going on. The two looked at each other and she started to tap her foot, getting a bit annoyed that she hadn’t been told yet what the report was. Then she heard the girl’s voice in her head. It’s complete. The anti-mutant force field is working. They’ve tested it on some rejected mutants and the outcomes were all the same. Dead bodies or nothing left but ashes.

She smiled and nodded her approval. ”Excellent, our clients will be glad to hear that the project is done. Tell your master that I need to see it for myself then I will start sending the fields to the clients.” She put a hand on each of their shoulders and led them over to the door, in a few swift steps getting them there, not caring if they tripped over their feet or tried to resist her. ”If that is all that you came to tell me then you are free to go now.”

She was about to close the door on them when one of the guards came running up to her. It was a loyal one, as the others knew that she wouldn’t hesitate to strike them down if they showed the least bit of fear. They were guards after all, they were supposed to be tough and fearless. ”Carmine, there is someone yelling outside for you. Do we let him in or not?” She frowned, tilting her head a little, letting a few of her slightly dark red bangs sweep across her eyes. ”Him? Yes let him in, keep a close watch and bring him in.” The guard quickly nodded and rushed off to get the man outside.

Eriyk

He was in the weight room, staying off in his corner. Lift, clank, lower, clank, lift, clank. He lay there, staring at the ceiling. Pushing the weight bar up and down, holding easily over a hundred pounds on each side. He didn’t bother to count the weights anymore; he just filled it until he couldn’t lift the bar then stopped, and tried until he could. The room was filled with other guards, all of those that were off duty or those who lived in the building like he did. They were trying to outdo one another, lifting more than the others, getting into the ring and knocking their opponent around a few times. He found all of their games somewhat childish. Granted that was because all of them knew he would knock them unconscious in any kind of match, he was light on his feet, had a strong punch and never held back.

He set the bar down and wiped his forehead with a towel as he saw two men walk into the training room. One had a mask on, which he found odd but then again not too many things here would surprise him. He had seen a mutant that had controlled electronic systems, ones that had controlled the natural elements themselves. A man in a mask was the least of his worries. The other was a tall man like himself; he had white hair and a cigarette in his mouth. He didn’t know what the two wanted but they headed right for him.

Scientist

He looked down at his clipboard; there were some new mutants that had been caught from the outside. He read what little had been written down about them, one was a girl with wings, blade could protrude from her arms and she had a strong connection with shadows. The next was a boy, his physical abilities were low just by the looks of him but they found he had strong mental capabilities that would have to be further tested. The next was another girl, she seemed healthier than the others, already a sign that she was only recently changed; she had quick movements, bright green eyes and claws that slid out from her fingers.

The scientist figured she was some type of feline mutants, he didn’t need to know the exact type of feline but he did need to find out all the effects of her being change at her age, and what all she could do. By the looks of the others, they had files somewhere that could be read first. But the cat-girl had to be tested, all her physical abilities, strength, and weaknesses found and recorded. All the positive and negative effects of the serum that was used and what else could be done with her.

He nodded and made his way to the cell that was written down that contained them. He looked inside, slightly wondering why the three had been placed in a single cell. Usually the mutants wouldn’t be allowed to be near one another unless it was in the arena. He smiled a little at the thought. That was always a good way to test a mutant to find out their true limits. He found the cat-girl, coiled to one side of the cell and went over to her, grabbing her wrist and dragging her out, making sure to lock the door behind him. ”Don’t make trouble for me or I can make the next experience one of the worst you will ever have.” he kept a firm grip on the girl’s arm, mentally checking to make sure he had a sedative ready in his pocket just in case she decided to try and avoid the next tests he would have for her.

He paused slightly as he saw the pair head to the two that were in the ring. Usually people looking for a guard came to him first and he found the one best suited for whatever circumstance that was needed. He put the towel around his neck and gathered around the ring along with the others. A few glanced his way, making room for him. He glanced at the men and almost laughed outright at his misidentification of the man in the ring for himself. A few of the present guards threw glances his way, seeing what his reaction would be, and a few surprised faces at his expression. He was slightly ticked off that someone would think that the obviously weaker man in the ring was him, but also found a great way to know his opponent.

The man in the ring also hesitated when answering the stranger’s question. A slight nod from Eriyk out of the corner of his eye and he nodded. ”Come on up here then. Let’s see what you can do.” More guards started to gather, seeing what this outcome would be.

~Carmine~

Now that she was mostly done with what she had planned to do she knew that she had to fallow through with her deal with Camelion, she would have to find a way to get this spider mutant from inside the Institution. But who to send…she got an idea, as many were searching for the lost mutants, she could find another use for Peter Tykwer, send him in, looking like a scientist, amsk or not he may be able to blend in, and be able to bring the mutant back.

_Eriyk_

Eriyk smiled, the man could bring a, and had a great defense as well, but he had been in enough fights and been trained well enough to see the holes in all of it, granted he had some himself, no one could be perfect. He got back in his stance, guess it was his turn to be on offense, test out this man’s defenses. He went forward with a flurry of jabs and punches, just simple things so Eriyk could learn this man’s defenses well and find the chinks that he could get through. Once he found a repeated drop in his defenses, he went for it and sent a hard punch right to his shoulder, which caused him to falter and his arm lowered. He hooked his foot behind the man’s and yanked back, so he would lose his balance and stumble, with this he hit him one last time, a hard punch to the face, enough to give him a bloody nose but not hard enough to break anything, though it was quite noticeable that with the tremor of his arm that he held back greatly in order not to hurt the man farther. ”Seems that’s three…”

Healer

The woman looked down at the girl in front of her, she girl was badly wounded, back cut open, cheek cut, wrists badly damaged and it looked as if older wounds had been reopened. She knelt down, gently patting the girl’s untouched cheek, it seemed that was the only place she wasn’t hurt or covered in red. ”Wake up child, don’t sleep. You’ve lost a lot of blood, stay awake for me, just for a little while then you can rest.” Her gentle voice was probably out of place in here, but she knew that the badly wounded needed some kind of gentleness to off balance all the pain that they went through. She couldn’t stop what happened but at least she could lessen the pain and help them to heal best she could. She very carefully lifted the girl, careful to make sure not to hurt her too much and headed back to the Healer’s area, she would make sure the girl stayed there until she was better, maybe even fed if she could get her hands on some decent food.

Peter Tykwer

He grumbled as he came upon the building Carmine told him to infiltrate. Seemed rather extravagant for his taste, but he had heard that the Institution kept up appearances. Either way he knew he would have to go in, glancing around he figured that his normal attire lab coat would do the trick as he waltzed up to the building and headed inside. The metal mask he kept over his face didn’t seem to attract much attention and if it did, his stern look and growl kept the people away. Now he just had to find this spider mutant Carmine wanted, Kumo, if he remembered correctly.
