"N...Nudge?" She asks, her voice becomes quiet and concerned, her hand reaching for his face... His blue eyes... She stares at the eyes, they didn't have the same warm feeling...
NO. She staggers back as her darker side kicks in and she shakes it off, drawing her hand into a fist and her fist slams with incredible force right into Camelion's abdominal area, in attempt to knock the air out of him.
She growls, "Don't fuck around with me, you little brat." She says, her voice becomes dark again, eyes swirling into a dark black again her blades coming out and her wings unfold, putting a barrier between the man and Nudge -- who was lying on the ground.

Kyra padded into the cave cautiously, going into a crouch and locking onto her prey. Camelion. Stop. Hurt the girl. Kill the girl. Help the snake. Help the snake destroy. The voice came into her head unexpected and she froze. Camelion looked like a snake to her. He had the eyes of a snake and the next moment they were gone. Kyra growled, as the voice shoved some memories into her head again...
The rain pounds harsh against the glass,
Like an unwanted stranger,
There is no danger,
I am hear tonight...
Kyra's sister was holding Kyra in her arms in the corner of her room, singing Kyra's favorite lullaby. Then her mother father stormed, picked up Kyra's sister by the hair and through her half way across the room. Her father looked down at her and through his beer bottle on the ground, making it shatter. "Shut up! You stupid brat! I said shut up!
Kyra's green eyes turned into a icy shade of blue as she locked her eyes on Faith instead. She bunched her muscles, and launched herself at the winged girl. Her fore paws on Faith's wings sinking into flesh as Kyra roared in her prey's face. She was doing what she was told. Destroying everything she saw. She knew Faith wasn't strong enough to throw her, for Kyra was the strongest of the mutants here, and she weighed around nine to twelve tons and all of it was muscle.

"You." She stares at Kyra, her eyes black and dark, as her wings fold in, blood caking where Kyra had sunk her claws in.
"And you." She looks back to Camelion, walking to him, "I want you to leave. You are on another mission. To continue walking. For ages. Never look back." She pushes the thought into his head, and continues to push it, "Walk. Never look back." She repeats, never unlocking her eyes from his as she pushes the thought even harder. It was harder to do on other mutants, but with a good amount of effort it would work for a good while, but wear off eventually.

Kyra quickly calculated in her mind what she had to do. She moved silently and jumped on Faith, before she let faith hit the ground, she locked her jaws at the base of Faith's wings and sunk her teeth deeper into the flesh, letting the blood trickle in her jaws. It didn't feel wrong, or awkward, it felt right to have her teeth in prey. She yanked backwards, hardly using an ounce of muscle. She heard a crack, realizing it must be Faith's wing and let out a growl, warning Faith that of she even tried to reappear somewhere else, she would lose her wings. Kyra didn't let go of Faith's wings, not even once. It was hard to NOT hurt her victim when she wanted to so badly, but Kyra managed it as she tightened her grip on FAith's wings.

"... Kyra...." She whispers slowly, "Why... Why hurt Faith... Just..Protecting... Nudge......I'm sorry Nudge..." She says, her voice becoming more child like by the second as she sees black spots and she feels tears welling in her eyes.
It hurt. Bad. She had pain before, but never like this, her wings were apart of her back, attached to her spine. She felt like dying right there. It would be an upgrade from this horrid hell. She closes her eyes, falling into herself, into memories... They flashed by so fast and she could only catch snippets...
"Faith... I'm scared... Don't let them take me away from you." Hope said, her eyes big, scared.
"I wont... I won't let you go." Faith gripped onto Hope as Hope's body shook and tears fell from her eyes....
"Get up you brats, lets go." Long nails dug into her shoulder as she was dragged to the Room and placed on the cold metal table.
"HELP." She screamed, but she was strapped down, and the White Coat came in, her long red nails holding onto a needle as she placed a cloth over Faith's mouth and stuck the needle in. Her eyes flashed open staring at the florescent light above and her body began to shake violently....
Hope was sitting in the corner of the room, shivering, her arms scratched up and bleeding, "The Chip. It needs to come out Faith... It has to..."
A tear slides down her cheek as she blacks out.

Fear. Ash sat bolt upright, not seeing anything. Not kyra, or Faith, or even Camelion. A terrified scream racked through her body, and fire blocked the exit. Camelion touched the flames, and screams of agony filled the cave. Ash's scream built and built on the winds around them, multiplying a million times over itself. The dream replayed and replayed, adding more heat and terror into the air. She shook with the use of her abilities, pain shooting through her but she couldn't stop. She had broken completely. Camelion fell backward, shaking his head and lunged at Kyra, under a misdirected assumation of what had happened. Ash's screams filled the air past the cave, travelling to the hidden camp.....

These people (minus the crazy evil mutant (Camelion) and she was of course still unsure about the Normal) scared her. They did things and said thing she didn't understand, and yet... they'd helped her. She was flying even now, thanks to them. Stretching her slick wings and making them create that hum that she loved, a bright blur. And they'd been kind; didn't grab her and beat her or hit her - because they where like her. They didn't have wings, except one, and weren't the same colors as her, but they where warped and hurt and looked like her in the sense that they where all too skinny, too bony, too scarred.
Something inside Kinarie stirred. Something she didn't understand in the least, or know what to do with, but she unconscious turned around and was flying lower to the ground, swerving trees as she made her way back to the clearing. She wanted. She wanted to be with these people.
Just as she slowed to a hover, spotting Dusk and Darius, screams and cries reached her ears. Widened grey eyes suddenly liquified, tears streaming down her cheeks as all she could think of were memories to go along with those sounds... Kinarie turned to Dusk, not wanting to get close to the other but she flitted about right behind her, hugging herself. Kinarie knew the way the white coats had communicated, the way these mutants did so too, and the special way Nudge did it. She pulled strands of flyaway hair back from her face, gazing at the dark girl urgently. How to do this? Help them, must? rose into her mind. Kinarie opened her small lips, trying to form the sounds. They crumbled in her throat and all that was heard was a desperate whimper. She shook her head quickly, mouth pursed in frustration. Need learn! she mentally kicked herself, batting her head with her palms.

Amp wasnāt really paying attention to what was going on in front of him. He was getting a little worried about Blast and why he wasnāt coming out. He knew Blast did this sometimes, but Amp wasnāt conscious for this long without him. Usually if he didnāt have Blast there, he would do something to get them in trouble and he couldnāt find a way to get himself out. He needed Blast to show him what to do, to make sure he didnāt get them both hurt.
He reached out to Blast and felt a mental wall being shoved p in front of him, keeping him back from Blast. He felt along the wall, trying to find a way to get around the barrier, or through it. He soon found a small crack, from about the same place that he could just feel that Blast was on the other side. He recoiled from the barrier, pain and agony came from behind it. Blast was keeping him from it, but Amp didnāt know how bad Blast was, he worried about him.
Suddenly he heard something different, from the outside. Well it was different only slightly, he had heard screams before, and he heard Blastās screams from inside his head. These were only different from the fact that they were female they werenāt echoing down hallways, instead they flowed on the wind and bounced off the trees. He recognized the voice as the Ash girl that had gotten out with them. She was in pain and by the sound of the screams, the pain wasnāt about to stop.
He glanced at Dusk, āAshā¦.sheās screamingā¦.gonna go find herā¦ā He didnāt like the sounds of the screams and he didnāt want them to continue. One reason was because he knew pain that caused someone to scream like that, it wasnāt good in any sense. And two, the screams were setting his nerves on end, causing him to shiver.
He glanced around him and looked for the sound traveling in the air, he could see the sound as it passed and hit every tree and where it was coming from. He started walking in the direction of the screams and was soon up to a run because of the screams and because he didnāt realize how great the ground would feel on his bare feet just running. Granted he wasnāt very fast because of the lack of muscle, but he made good time.
He came to a stop as he saw the scene before him. There were walls of fire, from behind which the screams were coming from. Then there was the black winged girl on the floor, unconscious, with blood covering her back. Kyra was still in her tiger form, blood dripping from her mouth and for a second he wondered if Kyra had attacked the winged girl. Then there was a third, and he could tell just by the slight sound the manās mind gave off, that this was the same person that had fallowed them from before, the cold one he had dubbed him. Amp stood there as if frozen, he honestly had no clue what was going on and if there was a solution to the problem, he had no idea how he would fix it.
He was utterly lost and reached back out to Blast, almost begging for his help. All he met was the same wall and the same crack that sent pain through, forcing him to pull away from the barrier and keep in control. But he didnāt want to be in control, he didnāt want to be in front or be loud like was supposed to. He wanted to curl up and let himself become numb to the world around him.
Blast
The pain was starting to fade; the memory was releasing its grasp and decided to let him go for the time being. Then there was screaming, he heard them mentally despite the fact that they were given out loud. The wind carried the noise to him, and then a memory decided he should hear more than just the females screams.
He was in one of the cells again; he always ended up in one. The creatures in the cells were the worst mutations. They could barely be called humans, some of them; the others didnāt deserve the title ācreature.ā They were all being beaten, or forced to beat on each other. The hallways were ringing with the sound of screaming mutations and agonizing shrieks of people being tortured. It hurt his head, made his brain pound in time to the wailing screams. He wanted it all to end, for him to finally get out of the screaming cells down bellow.
At one point Blast could feel Amp trying to get in contact with him. Blast didnāt want to let Amp feel the pain that the memories brought. He kept the wall up strong as he could, blocking off the painful memories so Amp couldnāt be hurt as badly.

"Such a scared little thing, isn't he?", Nudge couldn't tell whether the man before him was saying the words or thinking them, he hadn't learned to do that yet. "Take him. He isn't powerful enough yet. We might be able to get another Subject X out of him.", Those words were obviously spoken, as Nudge, 9 years old at the time, was dragged from his cell, down to the labs, where his powers would be altered yet again, in the most painful way possible. This time they were going to ensure that his abilities had no choice but to get stronger, by forcing him to rely on them. They were going to cause deliberate damage, to break him, silencing the boy's terrified screams...
Outside of Nudge's mind, outside of his memories, he was perfectly still, his frenzied struggles unable to transfer from his mind to his body. Only the very faint movement of his chest as he breathed betrayed the fact that he was still alive. Barely, but still there.

Matt whipped around the moment he heard the screams. Kyra's mindvoice was drowned out by them, and the sudden singlemindedness that took over him. He bolted in the direction he heard them come from, closing his ears as the sounds got louder, and overlapped themselves so it sounded as though many were screaming instead of one. Confusion hit him for the briefest of moments seeing the Sound Kid just standing there. Then he saw the flames, the cave behind them. He picked up his speed, leaving the faintest trail of singed earth behind him, grabbed the kid, and dove through the flames. Of course, they parted from him as though they were followers, but he had expected that. Fire listened to fire, and that was part of who he was. Ash still hadn't stopped screaming, Kyra was facing the man-thing that had taken Ash, and Nudge lay there, limp like the doll that used to be in Ash's room. He fingered the half finished flute in his left boot, and shook his head. An incomplete sound would do nothing.... But Ash.... She would still have hers, always in her left pocket. He just had to get her to calm down.... He frowned; it had been a long time since he had last seen her like this. Only that time it had been her arm and a few fingers, not her leg and feet. He carefully made his way over to Nudge.

Kyra watched Matt move over to the two legger called Nudge. She didn't want to be around these not right humans, she wanted to latch her jaws around a right human's throat, but she couldn't. She was trapped inside a cave with a wall of fire keeping her here, trapped. Trapped. Trapped. Trapped. Metal bars. Metal floor. Metal ceiling. White Coats. Needles digging into flesh. Gaurds. Gaurds holding her down. Screaming. Pain. So much pain. Being trapped in the cave brought back memories of being inside the Lab and she just froze up. Kyra sent one last thought to Matt, before she lunged for Camelion's forearm again to slow him down. "Run. Take others away. Run. Not right inside. Run. Hide."

Matt twitched slightly at Kyra's mindplea. He had to get Ash to stop screaming before they went anywhere. Amp/Blast was, at the moment, useless. It was too loud for them. He needed Nudge. Fire seperated the room in two, so that Camelion couldn't come closer. He hoped that would deter Kyra as well; big cats didn't like fire. It was hot, too bright for their keen eyes. He moved quickly, kneeling down by Nudges face, and getting him into a sitting postition. "Nudge." He said the word firmly, as though he were talking to a frightened normal child. He wasn't sure if this was the right way to talk to the kid, but it was the simplest way of talking he knew. "I need help. Ash, we need her quiet, okay? I need you to find her, find her mind. She's very scared, she can't see. She needs her friend right now. Come on, I know you're in there somewhere, please. We need Ash back, and we have to get out of here soon...." He watched the dull eyes, only hoping his words got through as Ash's screams continued to multiply. At this point, it was almost as if the entire forest was helping her scream. A million different pitches, millions of voices echoed through the cave....
Camelion
Camelion dived past the tiger's jaws, gripping his arm tightly trying to stop the blood. Fire now roared on two sides of the cave. He shuddered slightly at that; if he wanted to live, he wold have to get burned. Badly.... He looked at the teeth of the tiger, then at the flames around him. He would be the new boy's target, once the girl calmed down. he waited until the tiger had him almost against the back wall, then kicked off it. He flew through the air, diving over the big cat, and rolling through the blazing front fire, crying out in pain as he did so. It leapt up his arms and legs, and he tumbled on the sandy floor, trying to put it out. Then he disappeared, as though he hadn't been there in the first place...

āToo many questions....Why are there so many names...? Are there more of you like me...?Dusk, Sasha, Morten, why three names...?ā
Dusk gave him a soft smile, slightly amused by his questions. She was about to answer when this followed with a rather concerned expression.
"Blast isnāt talking to me...He pushed me in front and know he wonāt talk...He wonāt come out from back there...ā
He tapped his head and the smile disappeared from Dusk's face. She didn't entirely understand, however she knew that it was unlike Blast to not come out and talk every now and then, and he hadn't replied even when a "true" human showed up.
All at once screams filled the air.
"Ashā¦.sheās screamingā¦.gonna go find herā¦ā
Dusk froze as the sounds grew louder, and then Amp was gone.
"Amp?"
There was no reply, she started to move forward before realising that she had no clue where he had gone. Her fear only grew as the screams continued. She turned to the guy on the floor, trying to figure out what to do. There wasn't much she could do, if she tried to find them she was going to end up lost, and yet if she sat here and did nothing who knows what would happen to them.
"I don't know what to do" she murmured, before making a quick decision.
"Get up, I've got to grab the food" Then without turning around she hurried back to the clearing, where she had left the meat. After she had found it she stood dead still trying to figure out the direction of Ash's cries. It was no good. The screams seemed to come from every direction bouncing off the trees and being carried on the wind. She dropped to the floor and held her head in her hands. Once again she wasnāt useful, while everyone else was trying to help, she was stuck lost in this place by herself.

There was no way out. She was actually trapped by not right humans, who could kill her if they wanted to. She ignored the pain that sent shock waves into her brain whenever she put weight on her paw. The pain. It will heal. Jump. Find food. You'll heal quickly. You'll heal. The voice whispered harshly into her head as she sat down and glared at the fire wall. It will cause extreme pain, and will cause even more pain when her burns healed themselves. She knew that and didn't know if it was a risk worth taking.
Kyra roared angrily at Matt from behind the wall of fire. She was going to kill him. She was going to kill all the not right humans. She wouldn't stop until they were dead, dead as in wiped completely out of this world. Her ears laid back, she let the rage run through her as she paced back and forth. Occasionally she'd bat at the fire wall, get burned and retreat then do it all over again. Kyra could jump through the wall if she wanted to but something held her back, keeping her from her prey.

She had to, he was Faith's friend, and Faith couldn't afford to lose another friend. She struggles, opening her eyes, noticing the fire all around and with all her strength she had left, she could feel the chip activate in her arm and a cloud of puffing black shadow surrounds her and she reappears next to Nudge. She places her hand on his back.
"N....Nudge... Faith... right here..." She struggles and hugs him, a small tear slides down her cheek, "Wont let... you... die..." She says, the pain fills her mind again and she falls back into her memories...

Matt glanced back at Kyra, who was swatting angrily at the fire. I know, he thought harshly at her,But if you'd stop burning yourself, and come back, we wouldn't have an issue. Nudge is out, Amp an' Blast, it's too loud for them. I need you to find Ash. You found me, got me out of that mess when she was taken. Now find her. Little tame-young, think it that way if you must. I won't put the fire down until Ash stops screaming so we can all get out of here, before that freaky-shifting guy comes back. His eyes glinted red with anger and half restrained bloodlust. He wanted that man's head on a pretty carved platter, and he would get it. Later. Right now, he needed to rescue everyone, to include his sister, from the now ear-peircing scream, before Amp/Blast's ears (or his own) began bleeding. Please Kyra. I can help with the burns, far quicker than you could handle them yourself. Fire and heat listen to me. But I need you to get Ash out of that first. She's extermely scared, and I can't get through.

Amp started taking a few paces back from the wall of flame that sprouted up in front of him. There had been a few tortured with flames involved and he was naturally cautious of the writhing fire in front of him. Plus the sounds going on around him seemed to be multiplying. The screams sounded as if there were more than one person crying out, as if the forest itself was screaming in pain and getting louder by the second. He put his hands over his ears to try and block out some of the sound.
Suddenly he was grabbed from behind; he let out a small cry which was lost in all the other noise. He was heading towards the flames; they rose up in front of him as the heat intensified. He brought his arms up to his head; right as he saw the flames move to the side and allow him and whoever the person was that took them through. He didnāt know what was going on, he saw Ash on one side of the cave screaming bloody murder, Nudge was laying off to the side, not moving with his eyes wide open, and the man, by his feel, was the cold-one.
But the noise was too much for him, immediately after getting through the flames, the sounds increased tenfold. He fell to his knees, hands clenched over his ears trying to block any amount of head pounding noise that he could. He desperately hoped Blast would come out; he didnāt know how he could stop the noise and feared that his ears would start bleeding from the frequency of the screams. He frantically searched along the mental wall that Blast had constructed between them.
Blast
Pain. Thatās all there was, no images or sounds, just pain. Then his vision started to come back to him, slowly and at most all he could see were fuzzy shapes of the people standing over him. More pain. Like his nerves were on fire. The sounds came then. Everything started at a dull throb, and then increased to a roar. Finally it stopped, only after every small sound was echoing his head, making his head ache just to hear the shifting of clothing. Then men were talking, yelling at him and the scientists were frantically looking at their machines, a couple pushing the guards out of the room so they couldnāt hurt him further. He could barely breathe, the sounds jumbled his mind, he couldnāt think, he was going mad.
The memory washed over Blast until he felt a pounding from the outside, Amp was frantic like what was happening in the memory was happening to him out there. He could tell the sounds were too loud, thatās why the memory decided to show itself. He couldnāt leave or Amp would be the one to suffer through the memory, but he could make a small one way opening in the wall. He could show Amp what to do, to make the sounds stop. He had to teach the kid something anyway.
He got lost in the memory for a couple seconds then found his way to the wall. He made a hole in it, making sure that Amp couldnāt get through and hide, and that the memory wouldnāt worm its way passed and plague Amp as well. He sent the knowledge through, it went as bits and pieces, the feeling of how to manipulate the sound and make it work. He hoped Amp would get the idea and figure out how to stop the sound from reaching their ears. His thoughts were confirmed as he felt the pressure around them decrease; Amp had hastily created a small soundless bubble around himself, making the noise stop and creating silence around in his little dome.

Kyra couldn't last a minute in here. "Ash? Ash?!" She called out as she let out another sigh. Why did she have to always be the one to... bring people back from wherever? Kyra growled out when she saw Ash's memories. "Ash. Your not there. Your in the cave. People you care about are there. Go back! If you don't go back, whose going to show them? Whose going to show them how to survive in this new world? Whose going to keep them safe when I'm not around?" She sent the images of the blue eyed Kyra. The savage Kyra. The tiger with cruel blue eyes. "I'm not to be trusted. So who are they going to trust if they can't trust me? I.. am leaving." She sent the last thought weakly. She was getting tired.
Kyra pulled back into her own tiger body and looked at Matt. She nodded before jumping through the wall of fire. The smell of burnt fur and skin filled her nostrils as she landed on her paws and raced out of the cave. Her coat wasn't gleaming or soft anymore, but in tufts revealing burned skin. Her tail took the worst of it and she was filled with alot more pain then suprise at what she's told Ash. She stopped running when her paws actually started to bleed. Tired, hurt and confused, she limped her way until she came upon a creek.
Usually Kyra would be afraid of water, but she knew the soothing water would help her wounds heal alot faster. She walked into the water, until it was up to her chin. The water was cool and helped lift some of the pain she felt. She dipped her head in, one time before walking into shallower waters and lying down.

The words were jumbled, and Nudge couldn't catch all of it, but at least some of what Matt said got through. His eyes were still dull, but if one looked closely, there was the smallest spark of awareness in them. Ash...scared...help?, he asked, the thoughts weak. Nudge...find..., he told Matt and, after making sure there was no other interference (i.e, Kyra), it seemed to be his turn.
At first he was almost too scared to continue. In order to get to Ash, he had to go through the painful memories himself. At last though, he found Ash, the real one, the one who was trapped. Ash?....Is Nudge. No scare Ash...No hurt now. Is away. Hurt away. No hurt Ash no more...Ash come back? Nudge want Ash back now...Ash Nudge friend...Nudge help...but need Ash back... , he sent, the effort of trying to keep his thoughts coherent was tiring him. He withdrew from Ash's mind, and slumped against Matt, exhausted. He just hoped his message had worked...he wanted Ash back...

Voices. One she recognized as Nudge, the other she wasn't sure of, but was followed by a blue eyed tiger, pierced the never-ending nightmare. She couldn't understand. Cave? No cave here, just the lab... But then Nudge's voice came back to her. .....Away.No hurt Ash no more....come back?.....Friend..... She whimpered; her body stopped screaming, but continued to shake hard, as the storm she had created earlier had shaken the dead leaves from the trees. The memory-nightmare faded slightly, becoming something closer to a normal dream. She still had no idea how to get out, but pain didn't rack her body as badly as it had been before. She felt her body colapse beneath her, and slipped back into blackness. It was almost normal, the closest she had gotten to true sleep in years. Just black, with snipits of the memory. She sent a vague, completely open thank you to any mind she could reach before letting her mangled body go limp.
Matt
Matt caught Nudge as he slumped forward, and sent the flaming barriers down. Well, the one dividing the cave; he didn't know how long it would be before the shifter came back. He shuddered at that thought, what he would do when he returned. At least Ash had calmed down. He wasn't sure who had helped her, but she wasn't shrieking any more. He looked around, and sighed, smiling a little at Faith. "I'll be back in a little while, alright? I need you and Amp to keep an eye on these two, make sure no one comes who might hurt them. Okay? The fire won't hurt any of you, so long as you don't try to touch it..." He hesitated before walking quietly through the flames. The deep red alone should be enough to ward off most potential attackers. He took off after Kyra, ready to fufill that promise he had made. He would help heal the burns.... If the blasted feline would allow him..... He paused cautiously just in sight, keeping relatively low; small-looking so she (hopefully) wouldn't think him a threat and attack.

Kyra knew the others would be safe in Matt and Ash's hand. They could protect Dusk and Amp/Blast, probably better then she could. At least they could be trusted, but she couldn't. As long as the voice was there, she can't be trusted. She could hurt the others. Rip their throats open and leave them for the ravens to take their eyes. Just because the voice told her to.
Kyra saw the two legger. It was Matt. The only one crazy enough to come ofter a tiger who seemed to have rabies of some sort. She sat upwards slowly, letting the water run down the scorch marks on face and body. She looked Matt in the eye for quite awhile. The longer I stay the more chance he'll get hurt, She thought silently and managed to move into a standing position without inflicting too much pain on herself. Her golden eyes saddened as she limped away from the human. She cared more about Dusk's and Amp/Blast's safety then her own, and that ment that it would be best if she stayed away from them. She could turn on them at anytime, and the outcome would be tragic if she were to attack any of them. Kyra's paw pads started to bleed again, leaving bloody footprints on the forest ground. She looked at them once before moving onwards. Who cares if any humans find out about me. Let them. Let them come and try to hurt or kill me, for I am already dead, without my cubs.

"Dummy, you don't think I know why you're going? That's pretty foolish, if it's true." He smiled a little, taking another step closer. "I also know you won't last three days, with you're paws that badly damaged. I only came to help, not to tell you to come back. I'm not that stupid. Now come here, and let me help." He caught up easily to the wounded tiger-girl. "Please.... You helped me, twice now. It's only fair I give something back..." He rested one hand lightly on the soft fur, sending a soft heat down each little hair. He kept a slight distance away, just in case she did turn around and attack, but his eyes were full of a certain knowing, a trust that even if she did, the cat would like games enough to give him a head start. He was gambling with his life, he knew that very well. But it wasn't the first time he had done so, nor would it be the last. He didn't care what happened.

Kinarie stood up on her branch, wobbling a bit - still not used to so much space - and leapt lightly off, spurring her wings into action as she gained height. She squinted below her, watching the ground as her ears where focused on following the screams even though it was hard to focusing on going towards the pain.
She was closer, she felt, when she saw a stream below her. The fresh, clear water swirled in small eddies and danced over rocks as it flowed down, but there was a tinge of dysfunction. Kinarie frowned as she flew down and hovered right above the water, so close that she caused ripples from the small wind she created with her wings. She blinked down into the cool water, watching a tinsy ribbon of bright red twist and disperse. Kinarie pinwheeled backwards, staring wide-eyed as more tiny tendrils of flame colored blood flowed downstream. Brows knitted, she couldn't help flying quickly upstream to find the source. Was one of the mutants there? Hurt? Could she help?
Forgetting the screams as they died down, Kinarie soon came to a widening in the streambed, and in it, the monster-creature (tiger, Kyra) and one of the boys from the group, Matt. Kinarie stopped, hovering in the air as the Matt boy reached out and cautiously placed his hand against the monster's matted skin, the sleek featherish texture (fur) it used to hold burned and scarred. Kinarie could see the she-creature was trying to cool her burns in the stream as more blood pooled around her. The young girl covered her mouth and nose with her hands, partially to block the burning stench and partially to hide her gaping mouth. She feared the Matt boy would be attacked again, and she saw how much he'd meant to the others in the group. But where where they? She turned her head quickly, but no one else was nearby. She gazed back at Matt and the creature in horror and confusion.
((OOC: Sorry for calling Kyra a monster and scary creature, but Kinarie has no way of knowing what a Tiger is, let alone another animal. ;3 Hope it's not too offensive!))
Setting

Kyra's hair was matted and alot shorter then before, there were shadows under her eyes and her clothes were covored in soot. There was blood coming from her hands that held cuts and gashes that would have probably cuts her fingers off, if she weren't a mutant. "Is it foolish to care about others alot, you'd leave them to keep them safe?" She asked, her voice sounding a bit groggy from her dry throat. Kyra looked up when she saw Kinarie and tried to smile, but she found out that she couldn't.
