America is now split down the middle by the Mississippi. The Western half has been overrun by Imperium troops who have started experimentation camps in every major city run by unit 731. The camps are designed to test out magical binding spells on actives and non-actives to progress the field of magical research. Those that aren't put into the camps are put under harsh and oppressive laws by the occupying enemy. On the Eastern half of the U.S. Americans desperately fight to hold the line at the Mississippi. Thousands who ran from the invasion have over crowded most every city available leading to wretched living conditions in numerous shanty towns spread everywhere. Supplies are in high demand to keep the soldiers fed which leaves little for everyone else.
