Darkday Falls

Tala blinked a few times but gratefully took the key's and unlocked the chains. Her parents ran over to her and hugged her tightly while her father said thanks to the Lord of Death to many times. Smiling at her parents she made them go inside before turning to you. "Thank's...." she said looking him up and down not real sure what else to say. Why had to been so nice? Because she was his bride??

Infero smiled when he saw how happy both parents were when he gave them the key. He nodded to Tala and nudged Notas to go closer to Tala. Infero took your hand as he leaned over and kissed your hand. He smiled and rode towards the forest. Before heading into the forest Infero turned Notas around and he looked at you. " If people tomorrow give you trouble come find me , follow the white stag and you'll find me." he rode into the forest.

Tala just stood there when he kissed her hand and started to ride away. " If people tomorrow give you trouble come find me , follow the white stag and you'll find me." He called back to her and all she could do was nod as he rode into the forest. For some reason Tala felt this wasn't going to be the worst event for her and that she's going to have to deal with a lot more..and at that moment it was her parents.

Infero rode into town as the human man. Notas was getting really impatient about being in this form but didn't complain. Infero dismounted from his beast but didn't go in threw the front , he went to the side window that peered into the check in room as Tala approached her parents. He hoped they wouldn't get mad at her , it wasn't her fault it was more his fault than hers. So he watched and waited till it was over.

Tala sighed and walked up to her parent's a small frown set on her face. "Hey..So um mom..dad...How are you?" she said feeling uneasy now. She had no idea how her parent's were going to react to everything that had happened. Would they be mad? Scared? Sad? Really she wasn't even sure how she felt at the moment. Should she be scared or sad or even mad? Should she be mad that he didn't just kill her when he had the chance or should she be mad that the mayor just to happend to pull her name out of that stupid tank? Really she didn't know..

Infero walked into the room silently and stayed in a darkened corner. He watched as Tala came down and said her good morning. Her could tell that she was a bit upset by the whole thing. When Tala's mother saw him she walked over to him and she asked why did he choose to leave there daughter here instead of taking her to his kingdom. " As I've said before I feel that Tala would be more comfortable here , living in my realm and being human does not bode well together. But Tala will have to come to my realm soon to get married. She is just consider my financee'"

Tala turned slightly and looked at him, she was settling on the mad factor. "But why?? Why draw out the goodbye and just bring more pain to everyone? What's the point?!" she was trying really hard not to yell. She knew he was trying to be kind and let her stay longer but it was pointless because she still knew any day now she would have to be dragged away to a dark kingdom that would most likely end up being the end of her.

Infero closed his eyes and let his hair fall in his face. He sighed before looking back up at Tala who was glaring at him at the moment . "Would you rather leave now and stay in the demonic realm forever and never see your parents till they die? My plan was to leave you with them till they die , you can't die on the other hand you will outlive you parents by a thousand years. Now either you can stay here till they die or see them again when they come to me , your choice."

Tala growled "OH! now I have a choice?" she huffed and stomped out of the kitchen and into her room, slamming the door behind her and dropping onto her bed. She felt like crying..but would it be the right thing to do? She had told herself she would stay strong..but was that going to really work? and for how long? a day? A Year? A month? till her parent's die?

Infero sighed , he bowed to Tala's parents before walking outside to see that Notas was missing. He knew were he as so Infero walked into the darken forest. He walked about a mile till he came to a cave that lead to his realm. He went to his home and waited till Notas came back.

Notas poked his head inti the window of Tala's room. " He's trying his best to please you Tala , " he whinnied . " Please try to understand he's trying his best to make you happy." Snickered Notas.

Tala looked at Notas, tear's already forming in her eyes. "Just..give me some times." she said pulling the cover's over her head and burying her face in her pillow and trying to fall asleep. Now she couldn't die? Which was better? Watching all of those she loves die around her? Or never be able to see any of them till they die? Both sounded painful.

Notas nodded and galloped off to go to his own realm. He caught a glimpse of De'ablo and whinnied for Infero . Notas galloped into the cave to get Infero.

At about midnight De'ablo rode into Infero's territory and made his way towards Tala. He went by her went and scooped her up and held onto her tight as he rode onto his own turf. He tied Tala to a tree as he rested.

Tala slowly woke up becuase of how very uncomfortable she was at the moment. Where did she fall asleep? "oww....What the..?" she blinked a few times and looked around. Why was she tied to a tree? And who was the guy beside her falling asleep? Quickly Tala tried to wiggle out of the ropes through she was being loud and it proved to be pointless she still tired.

De'ablo looked up and smiled when he saw Tala struggling to get free of the ropes he tied around her wrist. He almost hoped that she would struggle. He stood up and walked over to Tala. " It seems lord Death's bride is as beautiful as I've heard." he smiled wickedly at Tala. " My names De'ablo lord of Nightmares. I'm one of the riders." he stroked your cheek. "You would have been perfect for me , but sadly Lord Death claimed you first. I will enjoy killing his bride to be."

Tala's eye's widened as he walked up to her " It seems lord Death's bride is as beautiful as I've heard." he smiled wickedly which made her feel sick. " My names De'ablo lord of Nightmares. I'm one of the riders." and when he stroked her cheek she tried to pull away but it was pointless. and she almost chocked when he said "You would have been perfect for me , but sadly Lord Death claimed you first. I will enjoy killing his bride to be." Tala stopped moving and looked up at him frowning as she did so. "He won't let you." she stated in a matter factually voice.

De'ablo laughed before gripping your throat. He smiled. "If so then why is he back in his realm and not looking after you? After all you did hurt him a bit when you yelled at him, he was only trying to make you feel more comfortable." De'ablo withdrew his name and held it to you neck and sliced a small part of your neck , nothing fatal. De'ablo moved the dagger to Tala's wrist and made little slice marks on here arm.

"De'ablo!" Yelled Infero a foot away , he glared at De'ablo as he dismounted Notas.

Tala clenched her teeth when he grabbed her throat and was working up a really snotty remark to "If so then why is he back in his realm and not looking after you? After all you did hurt him a bit when you yelled at him, he was only trying to make you feel more comfortable." but all the remarks she had was lost when he cut her throat and wrist. Not to big..but it still hurt.

"De'ablo!" Yelled Infero a foot away , he glared at De'ablo as he dismounted Notas. Tala couldn't help it..it just happened. She couldn't help but yell out his name in joy. "Infero!!" she cried out wiggling around again.

An inhuman growl came from Infero as he approached De'ablo. When De'ablo stepped in his path to get to Tala he glared hard , his eyes like shards of glass. De'ablo growled back but side stepped from Infero's path. Infero got down on his knee and cut the ropes that binder Tala to the tree , all the while he watched De'ablo to make sure he wouldn't pull a thing. Once Infero cut the ropes he scooted Tala up in his arms and placed her on Notas's saddle.

"This isn't over my friend." De'ablo said and dissappeared. Infero mounted and placed you on his lap while he trotted Notas back home. Staying silent the entire time.

Tala looked up at Infero and almost clung to him as they traveled on Notas. She had been wrong..he did care. And now she felt like a jerk. "I'm..sorry." she sighed and yawned and snuggled closer to Infero before she dozed off not real sure if they were going to her home or his. Not that it mattered anymore. really she just wanted to know why one of the other riders wanted her dead.

Infero smiled at Tala and when she yawned she snuggled closer to him. He rode to the cave mouth and made his way to his home. When they arrived at the gate he dismounted Notas and made his way up to there room , while Notas was left away. Infero hushed the guards as he went past them and opening the doors to there room. Inferior layed her down on he bed and kissed her forehead before heading out the door.

Tala rolled over and stretched out her eye's still shut. was her bed really this big? When she opened her eyes..she almost screamed. Where was she?? Let's see..the guy had kidnapped her..tied her up..then what? Tala sat up slowly blinking a few times. had Infero came? Yeah..he had..but..where was he? Tala slowly got up from the bed and crossed the room, trying to be very quick while she open the door and peeked out.

Infero smiled when he saw Tala open her door to the room. He walked over Tala and smiled to her as she came out. He placed a hand on her shoulder and grinned. "I see that your awoke Tala , your parents our downstairs having breakfast. And no there not dead , I was thinking they could stay here with you and stay alive for as ling as you live." Infero smiled and walked you to the dinning room to were your parents were.

Wilhelm lightly made his way through the town. A day had passed since he overheard of this 'Death Lord' taking a bride. From what he was able to gather, Wilhelm discovered the Death Lord torments the people of this village. He lives in the forest with his demon steed. This year seems to be the time where the Death Lord comes to take a wife back to his dark kingdom. That would exclaim the commotion regarding a woman named 'Tala'. Wilhelm was interrogating a blacksmith while the announcement was apparently made. The young knight was surprised that Darkday Falls would relinquish a young woman like that, but this Death Lord must be a demon of immense strength and power.
Wilhelm found his investigation very exhausting; there weren't many individuals willing to give him information, despite his status as a Knight of the Holy Order. His title usually commanded a reasonable amount of respect and obedience. The knight decided to track down the Death Lord and see to it that the terrorization of Darkday Falls was put to an end. Wilhelm returned to the town inn and tied his horse next to the bales of hay. Fortunately, the other horse wasn't there to spook Aegis. Wilhelm entered the inn to find the same woman he'd spoken to yesterday.
"Excuse me miss, I would like to purchase a room for an indefinite amount of time. I am on official business for the Holy Order." Though the Order never sanctioned his hunts, most knights were granted a certain autonomy as long as they upheld the Sacred Code: an ensemble of rules and regulations all knights must strictly follow.
After a brief pause, the woman led Wilhelm to a room upstairs. "This will do just fine, thank you."
Wilhelm set his weapons and supplies onto the bed. The room was of simple design: one window, single bed, white sheets, small dresser... basic necessities.
"I am not looking forward to finding the source of this town's problems, but I was brought here for a reason."

Tala smiled at Infero and followed him to the dinning room, but before they walked in she couldn't help but sneak out a "Thank you." before rushing into the room to see her parent's. She was glad that she didn't have to leave them or stay in that Village anymore. The other night when she said she had planned to get away..she never thought of it like this...but she's glad this happened.

Infero watched Tala and smiled . He was sure she would love having them here with her. Infero lefted the room to leave them alone for a while. He made his way to the stables and tacked up Notas. He mounted him and rode around his demonic realm awhile. He made sure every villager was happy and were having any problems. When everything was fine with his realm he rode up to his human realm.
