Infero gave a smiled and removed his hood. "Yes came to say 'hi' and since i kind of live here i came to wake you up." He smiled and walked closer towards the bed. "Your father needs you so you might want to get up." He turned to leave but looked back at you. "Plus i would hide that new tattoo , you know they still do burnings here." Infero transformed into his human surrogate and stayed in the room. "And you know i'll be watching you for a bit ... i'm not the only rider out there and i would hate to see you fall into his hands."

Tala stared at him confusion clear on her face and she felt like screaming when he shut the door. swiftly she got up and grabbed a long sleeved shirt *which was perfect because the air had a cold bitter feeling to it* and a pare of jeans. after changing she slipped on her shoes, feeling frozen she walked out of her room and into the bath room. The girl brushed her long brown hair till it was straight and shiny and made her way outside, not even bothering to eat anything. What did he mean He's not the only rider? she thought as she made her way down the path. Fall into who's hands? Why me?? she looked around spoting her father.

Infero smiled at Tala as she came down. He was having a talk with her father but he straighted up and walked past Tala. a small "See you tonight." Was said as he walked past her. It was going to be a funny night , there was going to be dancing , games , songs , and they would choose a maiden to sacrifice to me. It was finally Blood moon. He knew all to wellwho they were going to pick and a way it excited him but then again it did. Who was going to be picked would have to give up here life her forever to live with him. Infero frowned at the thought and made his way to Notas.

Tala strightend up slightly as he walked by See you tonight. She shook slightly at his words but kept walking till she was next to her father. "What do you need help with?" she asked feeling slightly shaky. "Oh hey honey. I just need some vines from the trees by the forest..just don't go inside the forest alright?" he asked raising an eyebrow at her. "Oh..um of course not dad." she said smileing a shaky smile at him before she grabbed a basket and headed towards the forest. She was very lost in thought at the moment and didn't have an idea what was being planned for tonight.

Infero saw Tala walking towards the forest with her basket. He turned Notas around in the forest and headed for her. Notas stopped dead in his tracks and stared at the ghostly white horse ahead of them , his rider smiled with pure hatred in his eyes. The rider was none other than De'ablo Lord Nightmare , he created everyones nightmares at night and sometimes they became true. Infero turned demonic.
"De'ablo." He growled.
"Brother Infero." De'ablo smiled.
"What are you doing here?" Hissed Infero and Notas pawed the ground.
"I've heard you were taking on a human form , and that your messing around with a girl?" Infero glared. 'But none less i was just checking on you , but be careful brother. You know the law and if you break it i might have to break your pretty little Tala." He laughed and rode away. Infero rode to Tala and stopped Notas.

Not so bad as i and there is some worse. there is a total of five riders ,Life ,Death ,Dreams ,Nightmare , and Earth. Most of the riders are men but the rider of Earth is a female. I'll tell you more later , but now do what you came out here to do." He smiled and rode away.

Go put on your dress the fair is starting soon!" her father sighed pushing her towards the house. "O-okay! geez. " she mumbled heading back into the house and into her room as she opened her closet she frowned. "What dress?" she wondered around looked around her room and frowning. She din't like wearing dresses and she really didn't have any idea what he was talking about.

Notas neighed and popped his head into your window , in his mouth was a purple satin dress with a black flower pattern. Notas dropped it and trotted off towards his master who was on the outskirts of the forest. Infero hopped on and changed human before arriving into town. Notas neighed to a few other horses as they went throw town. Infero stopped and helped people with things before going to get ready for the fair himself.

tala jumped when the horse popped his head in but took and dress and greatfully changed into it. It was a beautiful sleeveless dress that fit her perfectly and showed off her perfect legs and shoulders. After slipping on matching purple heels she made her way out side, leaving her long straight hair loose. "Hey dad. " she said smiling at him. Her dad gave her a confused look when he saw her dress but brushed it off. " Hey honey, go have fun okay? " he said smiling and patting her on her head before walking off with Tala's mom. Tala sighed and started to walk closer to the fair.

Nearing the top of the hill, Sir Wilhelm Totenberg saw the village of Darkday Falls for the first time. It seemed like a peaceful village, but there was a dark, ominous feeling...or presence to it. Something didn't feel right about the place. A large, thick forest seemed to engulf the village. His horse, Aegis, began to neigh and turn away from the village.
"Easy now, relax boy." Wilhelm tried to comfort the horse, but something was frightening him. This was alarming to the young knight; Aegis was not frightened easily, so something extremely abnormal must be transpiring here. Wilhelm gave Aegis a light kick and he reluctantly trotted towards the village.
The townsfolk were not used to seeing a young man in full plate armour around. Wilhelm wondered who's military protection the village was under.
"This is Darkday Falls correct?" he a woman sweeping in front of an inn. "I've been having trouble acquiring a map with the town's location."
"Yes, this is," she responded. Wilhelm could tell she was scared, but not of him. Most of the villagers seemed scared.
"Do you own this Inn?" he asked.
"My husband and I do, yes." She seemed slightly hesitant to answer.
"Might I inquire as to the state of fear the entire town seems to be under?" Wilhelm asked as he dismounted from Aegis. He attempted to walk his horse over to where a black horse was tied, but Aegis would not move another step closer to the other horse. Aegis was known for being stubborn but this was beyond his average stubbornness.
"I'm sorry, I must go work inside now." The woman rushed off into the inn.
"Something's foul in this village," Wilhelm exclaimed,"and I intent to discover the cause."

Notas looked at Tala , he snickered and pionted his muzzle towards the inn. Notas nibbled on the pole and his knot came undone and he walked around the back of the Inn. He snickered at you and nodded his head for you to follow ,all the while Notas's eyes stayed glued on the white horse. When you got close Notas led you to the back and saw that the back door was open.
Infero was in the back of the inn looking and studing the newcomer who was covered in armor. Infero knew why he was here and he cursed himself. Why was he here? No one had ever come to Darkday Falls even thou many people were killed by the riders. Infero looked back at you and smiled before looking back at the man. "He's new." Was all Infero said.

Tala smiled at Notas and followed him towards the back before she saw Infero and her smile slowly dropped. Was he spying on their guest's now? The lord of death is so odd.. she thought before walking up to him and glancing at the man covered in armor. "He's new." was all he said which made Tala roll her eyes. "Really? What was the first hint?? We always have giant tin men marching through our Inn you know.[b]"[/b] she said a tang of sarcasm clear in her voice as she spoke. She glanced behind her and back outside, the sun was just starting to go down..which means soon someone will be chosen..Tala glanced at her arm and frowned. "You know who their going to choose don't you?" she asked turning away from the tin man and back to Infero.

He said and trotted off towards the forest. That man was a type of holy person , Notas could feel it and so could Infero. He wondered why he was brought here and with De'ablo getting closer to his village it was cause a little to much stress for Infero. Infero turned back and went towards the man ,he dismounted but didn't go inside but he stayed near the Inn to watch Tala.

Tala stood there for moment before shaking her head and frowning as her Kitten, Paw's jumped into her arms and mewed. "What dose he always do that?" she sighed and hugged the kitten close before heading back outside, cat still in hand. People would start to gather soon, and Tala couldn't help but hope that whoever they chose would not freak out like many had before. And even through she had no idea who they were going to choose she started to get a weird feeling as she neared the crowed of people.

Infero watched as Tala neared the crowed with a kitten in her arms. He smiled a bit and rolled his shoulders , Notas tossed his head as Flake cameup behind him. Flake was a ten piont buck with a snow white pelt and ruby red eyes. He had been alive for three centuries and no one had ever manage to snag him or get near him ,all for Death. Flake had made a deal that if he stopped eating the villagers winter food he would live for as long as he choose and he would remain young and healthy.
The mayor of the town came upon the platform and silenced the niosey crowd. He was a beefy man with graying hair and green eyes. Next to hiim on the stand was a class tank with every females name in the village.
"Its time to start the drawing to see who will become Lord Death bride. You all know the drill , every female ,married or not must line up and if your name is drawn you will be chained up here for Lord Death to claim his bride. Under stand?" When all the girls nodded they began to line up.

Tala tensed as he slowly put his hand in the tank and shuffled it around some. before slowly pulling out the small slip of paper. Something inside her did a little flip as he unfolded it closed his eyes. Tala clenched his fist's and bit down on her lip only one thing running through her mind. Not mom..Not mom..Not mom.. sure..she should have been worried about herself but..she just..hr parents..nothing would be the same. And then he open his eye's and read the name aloud...

The mayor sighed but said the name aloud. "Tala..." Every eyes turned to you , even Infero's. Notas reared and neighed before snorting. Acouple of men moved up from behind you and began to force you up onto the stage. The mayor sighed and walked over to you. "I'm sorry Tala ... i really am. If i knew it was your name i would have put it back." He walked over the stage as the two men chained you to the stage. A couple other men had to restain Tala's mother and father from going up there. Infero walked over to the two men and made them release your mother and father , they ran up the stage to you.

"Tala..." she stood still, it was like the ground had gave out from under her feet. All she could do was allow herself to be pulled by the men up onto the stage and have chain's placed on her arm's and ankles. She knew how this would go. Slowly everyone would clear out and lock their doors and window's while the family cried over their lost. Then he would come at midnight..and the next morning when everyone came back out the chains and girl would be gone. Almost as if no one had even been chained up there. "Mom.." Tala cried out through there was no point. "I'm sorry Tala ... i really am. If i knew it was your name i would have put it back." the mayor said..but it was all empty words to her. As her parents rushed up to the stage Tala wished she could hug them one last time. "Mom..take care of Paw's? And go and get inside before it get's to dark dad. Close the windows. don't..don't watch." she said a weak smile on her face. Really she was glad it had been her. any of the other girls would have gotten everyone killed. She's faced him before..she could face him again.

He couldn't help but feel sad for Tala , he could.... could let her stay in the village and he come and visit her. But wouldn't they treat her differently if they knew she was seeing Lord Death? What if she had a baby... no time for that but still couldn't help but feel sad. So before he parnets lefted to go inside he rode into the clearing before her parents went inside.

Tala's eye's got wide as he called her parent's closer to him. "Don't hurt them!!" she cried out straining aginest the chain's that held her in place while the few remaining people in town just stared. Tala felt her heart jump in her throat. as they neared him. If he hurt them she would kill him. She would see how much the lord of death really enjoyed death.

"Seeing that your daughter is still very young I will allow her to stay with you as she pleases , but do not be surprised if I visit." He nodded to her parents and handed you the key to the chains.
