I glared at the idiot DK. "You're pathetic." I stared at the slash in my hand, then quickly cleaned it out with a piece of cloth ripped from my shirt. I ripped more of my shirt to tie up my hair, keeping it out of my way. I grabbed the knives in my boots, and faced the DK, letting my anger build up by thinking of scenes of the past. Painful scenes that made me furious, but still let me retain my reason. A bad opponent is one who is ruled by anger, for they are reckless, and easy to beat.
I had wanted to tie him, gag him, and force him to feel excruciating pain without the armor on. And he had gone and slashed me. I smiled ruefully, realizing I should have tied him up first and searched him for his weapons. Well, I was an idiot, but if I was going to die, then the DK had to, at the very least, be unable to escape at all.
"Who was the owner to you? Doesn't it hurt you at all to have angered her, and hurt her, so much?" I asked, thinking that he may have a soft spot for her. Maybe she's a close friend. After all, she had used to hunt demons, once upon a time.

I smiled, a razor thin, humorless smile. I was thinking about the fight that was just about to start. I was ready, and I knew I was probably going to die. To tell you the truth, it would be a miracle if I managed to survive. "Well, I don't want to bleed all over my blades. After all, it will make them slippery." I ripped out yet another piece of my shirt, laughing hollowly. At this rate, I wasn't going to have a shirt left. Not that it would matter if I died. But then, what does matter if I die?
I continued talking. "But see, Mr. DK Idiot, I am most definitely not a normal person. I'm not even an abnormal person. I don't care if I die."
Saying it out loud made me realize the truth. I was so bent on protecting this shop and the demons seeking protection that I actually did not care even a bit if I died, as long as I took this idiotic man with me, so I could protect this place. And people always say that the ruler of the streets, the Invisible Spy, V.C. Shadows, has no compassion. I had plenty of it.
"So, on to the fight, now that I've told you that I'm like nothing with a brain in this world?" I asked, somewhat cheerfully, knowing that the poison was a time limit.

Gasping for breathe Coal sat on the edge of the bed his mind was dizzy and his head clouded. For a moment he smelled the sulfur and brimstone that clogged his nose. He could feel the raging fires across his skin burning him from inside and out. What seem like hours of re-living the terrible past was only about fifteen minutes before it past. Soon his senses returned to him as he realized where he was, in PetShop, a safe place for demons like himself. Lifting himself from the bed he walked to a mirror that was in the room. Carefully he button up his shirt so the scar was covered, and decided he would leave his room to go sit at the bar.

Sayu's looked completely defeated, her eyes lacked fire or will in them and the gun in her hand fell to the ground, her hands were too weak, too shaky to even hold onto a weapon. "I'm so sorry... This place is no longer safe... I can't protect anyone." Her voice was just as shaky as the rest of her but she was no longer crying, no tears would come. Her silk kimono was messily draped over her weak body and the blood was still wet against her skin. She turned to her brother and slapped him, using the last of her energy. "You were once an angel... Now look what you've done." She had to watch her best friend and the boy she loved touching some other girl... and by force... "How disgusting." she whispered.
Dante
Dante didn't have any smart remarks to give Sayu. She was right he was once an angel and now he was worse than the devil himself. Dante grabbed his blades and let his wings unfold, he ran out to where Draco was and pulled him away from the girl. He didn't want to stab Draco, so instead he punched him with full force just to slow him down "Stop this! Maybe demons don't deserve to live, but my sister deserves to be happy!" He shouted at Draco, his golden eyes peering into Draco's soul.

I realized that right now, the best thing to do was to try to slip out of this cage, because the DK, Drake or whatever his name was, was much stronger than me. I was trying to escape his grip, but it was impossible. The drug was making me really weak, and I was struggling to keep the black from taking over anymore of my vision than it had already. Luckily, I was furious. I don't like being touched in any circumstances. Not even the nice ones. But then, who actually tries to touch me. Most people are put off by my eyes.
As I finally gave up, my fury not strong enough with the poison running through my veins. It just deterred him for a minute. Finally I felt something shove him back. It was a relief. However, I sounded like I was drunk. My voice was slurred and my original voice was back-the uncultured one and I didn't realize it was mine for a long, long while. "Don' forgeh ta lock up da d*mn b****** and disahm. He goht fight in 'im still." The last thing I remember was the ground rushing up to meet my face, or maybe it was my face that was rushing up to meet the ground. I was too tired of everything and nothing to care anymore as I sank into oblivion.

Then he walked over to where Sayu was knocking sky over with a stab to the back. He grabbed Sayu and forced her to look into his eyes. "I loved you, I loved you so much," he said tearing up, "but then you returned the love with bullets through my back!" He threw her to the ground. "It is quite obvious to me that you love these trash more than me." He smirked. "You made your decision, but mark my words, I will return. And the next time I return, this place will be no more." Draco, went over to where Kero was. He took his dagger out of his back, and made him drink a potion. "You would have wished to die now, halfing. For life is a curse." Then with that he grabbed his great sword and cut V.C.'s bindings off. He gently picked her up and carried her on his back. With that he took off to the forest, disappearing from the Pet Shop.
He escaped the pet shop and was far off, where nobody could track him. He put V.C. on a log and sat down himself. "I never said you are going to die." He said to her quietly. He had one more potion left. He had no clue why he wasted such a valuable thing on that halfling, and now he was going to waste it again on a life that didn't care whether she lived or not. He took off his armor and put it on her, then opened her mouth. They were filled with blood. He took out an antidote and quickly put it on her hands, then with his own shirt tied her hand once again, to stop them from bleeding. Then he fed her the potion. "Value your life, girl. For every human life is precious." He coughed and gagged. Draco was at his limits now, only two more miles left. He picked V.C. up again and carried her on his back, dragging himself to the NDHA.

"I...I'm gonna f-find you now...j-just you wait..." LT wheezed in between breaths. Then she took off again at over a few hundred miles an hour, reaching a tree a few yards from where he was heading towards. There she downgraded herself into her normal self, her eyes fading back to bright orange and the thin white layer around her dissappearing. She coughed, her blue orb with a black Scorpio sign on it fading. Now about to faint, LT crawled as fast as she could, catching up to Draco in a few minutes, and grabbing onto his leg. "P-please don't kill me."
"C-can...
Can I c-come with you?"

Dante in all his pain managed to smirk "This pain? This is nothing." He stood up allowing himself to feel the full force of the burning. "I am going to slaughter him... In the most unheavenly way." He growled walking slowly, he walked past Sayu and tears fell from his eyes. "Why is everything you love taken from you?" his voice was lower than a whisper.
Sayu
Sayu didn't care about Draco's words. Not anymore. She thought she loved him, but she could never love anyone like that. "There's no such thing as love." This time tears never came, She pulled herself to her feet and grabbed Dante's glowing hand. "Not everything I love is taken from me... I got you back from heaven." she smiled.

"NO ONE. Values my life. Anymore." She coughed hard, blue blood escaping the side of her mouth. Putting her hood on and using the little magic that she could at the moment, LT put on her human disguise and stood up. "Look. Look at me now." No one would be able to tell whether she was human or not now. Putting on her full-eye contacts, she covered her entire orange eye with normal blue irises and white eyes.

"I want to HELP you."
The little LT left inside of her was banging against her mental cage, screaming "No! What are you doing?! Think about Mizu and the reporter girl!"

Sayu didn't know why but she needed to see Draco one more time, she took of running at full speed, stumbling due to fatigue. "There you are..." He breathed heavily from running so fast. "Draco, Please... Just talk to me... It's Sayu, we've known each other forever! I don't want us to leave on these terms." Tears stung her eyes but she fought them, casting a glare at LT She grabbed Draco's arm and pulled him away where they could speak alone "Talk to me please." She gave the best smile she could, letting him know she still cared.

I felt the odd sensation of being slapped. And it sounded like someone was calling me... a reporter? Why a reporter? Hmm... maybe someone was attempting to wake me up. I tried to open my eyes, but my eyelids felt so heavy. So very, very heavy. Or maybe they were glued shut. I struggled to open my eyes, trying to figure out who was talking to me. The voice sounded just the slightest bit familiar, but I had no idea where from. I shook my head, trying to clear the cobwebs.
I opened my eyes, finally, blinking to focus the things around me. My memory came back slowly, but I had no idea where I was, or why I wasn't in the shop. "Where am I?" I asked, noticing LT for the first time. "And I'm not a reporter. I think even calling me a spy is more accurate than calling me a reporter, though I hate being called a spy. Reporters are annoying, chatty, and way too much like vultures."
I realized that LT and I were the only ones, wherever we were. So she must have been the voice. "I thought I was fighting the DK, the annoying brat. He fights dirty. Do you have soap?" I wanted to wash out my mouth. I also wanted to be clean.

The troll girl was very foolish in taking V.C. back, having not fully recovered, Draco was about to get her treated here, but now, well it's too late now. He entered the rock entrance and put his fingerprint on the scanner and said "Open" to the mic. The door slid open and Draco entered. As soon as he entered the door immediately closed. He was greeted by hundreds of guards, and a soldier came to him and saluted him.
"Get me Connel immedeately!" He said "We have a demon shop to raid."
With that he went over to the hospital room where he was to spend the night. Tomorrow, will be the end. He thought.
