:Attire:
Aurea only ever wears three sets of clothing: one for the air, one for the ground, and one for interactions with high society. The high society attire consists of a long dress pf shimmering green, set with sequins and sapphires along the hems. Long sleeves trail almost along the floor, covering her hands while the neckline swoops down a modest distance. Her sky attire is a long cloak of dark, heavy cloth with a hood, thick enough to serve as a blanket in need. In addition, she wears leather pants and vest over simple cotton clothing. She also wears two gloves at all times. The ground attire is much the same, replacing the hooded cloak for a plain brown jacket.
:Protection:
Her sky-attire doubles as a thin protective garment. Made of strong yet supple leather, it is hardy enough to deflect glancing blows from bladed and piercing weapons but provides almost no protection from direct impacts. She usually relies on her reflexes to stay alive.
:Weapon(s):
Aether rifle- A unique rifle unlike almost any other, it does not fire bullets like most other firearms. Instead, small magic-filled canisters are used to power the rifle which then shoots out bolts of magical energy in a very precise manner, allowing it to operate as a sniper rifle of sorts.
Repeating Hand Crossbow- A master-crafted piece belonging to her father and taken by Aurea upon her escape, this piece can shoot bolts at a rapid rate. A small rotary barrel sits under the main section of the crossbow, able to hold five bolts before needing to be reloaded. Used for silent operations.
A flintlock pistol- Nothing special here
:Accessories/Misc:
A small telescope which she can use to snipe or observe distant objects
Lock-picking set
Small poison-making set and various needles and darts which with to apply them.

Skills: As a woman, subtly is usually viewed as the path by which a female should go to acquire power, utilizing their wiles to tempt others into doing what they want. Aurea has no inhibitions about taking this role but it is not her main one. She considers herself an excellent escape artist, having learned these skills over the years for breaking into palaces and thieve's dens alike. In addition, she is considered one of the best marksman by many she meets. While aided by the fact that her rifle has considerably reduced recoil than normal firearms, she nevertheless spent years training herself to hit her target without fault, hitting what she intended much more often than not. Finally, she is able to mingle with any social class, blending in as someone who belongs there and enabling her to hide in plain sight.

Aurea Karstin Lark, heiress to one of the largest fortunes in the kingdom of Corsigus and member of one of the oldest and most prestigious noble families in the region. The life of a noble is a strict one, the heads of the family always managing the minutiae of one's life in order to secure the best future possible for the dynasty. Such attempts at control were attempted by her mother and father, arranging marriages and exchanges long before she even knew of the other potential spouse. Discovering her future marriage, Aurea, a willful person, immediately took to spiting her parents, constantly disobeying orders or engaging in taboo activities considered too coarse for the nobility. Punished for her sleights, Aurea became adept at slipping out of the castle which her family inhabited, learning how to sneak out of the confines which her parents placed her in.
At the age of 20, she left permanently, setting off with pilfered materials in order to begin a new life. One of these objects was a precious rifle that remained in the Lark vault, a remembrance of the family's rise to power. Now it was hers. Training herself as a marksman and thief for years, she sold the excess loot which remained from her home in order to survive while her skills developed. As her supply of cash ran out, she sought larger targets, always utilizing her charms, wits, and abilities to acquire the item she desired. She continued this life for eight years until recently. Bored with the repetitiveness of the surface world, as well as fleeing from authorities in multiple areas, Aurea found her way onto the Phoenix.
