Lala, Laya There's not much you can do with Layla. It's kinda its own nickname.
19
Third in command
Layla is tall and slender, standing at 5'7 and weighing at least 113 lbs. She is actually a lot lighter than she would assume, which is rare because height usually adds onto how heavy one seems to be to others. Her slender build is from years of gymnastics and physical training. However, her lean yet soft-looking muscles do not retract from her obvious girliness. Her skin is a nice fair complexion, hardly - if ever - tanning and never appearing too pale. Her face is quite symmetrical and her square jawline only seems to make her appear more serious and less childish. Her cheeks are high with deeples forming with her every smile and her almond-shaped light brown eyes crinkle in those momens of happiness. Her hair used to be longer and a darker color. However, as a need for change arose when she graduated from high school two years ago, Layla cut it to shoulder-length and dyed the her silky strands to a browner hue with hints of red. It is almost like a reminder of her mother, whom she misses but will never say that aloud to.
Layla is definitely a combination of a leader and a follower, the latter probably being a good quality of a natural leader if Layla actually always did so. While she does tend to be respectful and allow the other two leaders take control, she is prone to taking charge and charging in headstrong, especially in those times when she is overly emotional. It is not that Layla does no respect other authority; she follows instructions most of the time. However, she spent her life as an elder sister and a cheerleading captain. She's used to people following her. So, she does have problems at times when relinquishing power, which might be because of her inability to allow herself to be in the care of others. Allowing someone else to lead her or take care of a situation that she possibly could is against everything that Layla's mother stood for and she is not prone to allowing herself a chance of weakness. Her mother would have never allowed that.
But all of that is not to say that Layla isn't a good person. She actually is a lot nicer when situtions aren't serious and surprisingly shy, not prepared for the friendships and relationships in life. As a child, she moved around a lot and didn't stay long enough to make a lot of friends. So, all of that is still new to her, which makes it even harder for her to consider a more intimate relationship with girls. Layla is definitely a guy's girl at the end of the day; she would rather sit around playing video games, basketball, or even watching movies before she went shopping. But don't mistake her for some tomboy; Layla would go shopping and actually enjoy it.

Volatile Constructs: The power to generate bombs and explosives
- Layla can create bombs with just her energy within her arrows and detonate them at a chosen time simply by blinking
- Layla can create with just her energy bombs that at will - as if she has telekinesis and is allowed to move things with her mind - can be placed in several locations and explode when she mentally detonates them
- Can place bombs in several locations in a 50 mile radius of herself without even having to know or be familiar with the location
- Can throw balls of energy at people at will that explode in their faces. All of her explosions can be almonst like a near nuclear-explosion if she does not keep her anger or other emotions in check

Layla was born to two military officials that moved around a lot. When she was a child, Layla would go from base to base, from neighborhood to neighborhood. It was a wonder that she managed to keep up with her studies. Luckily, there was a thing called online class and Layla used that to take up her time. Their moving around resulted in her not being able to maintain a lot of lifelong or meaningful connections, which prompted Layla's mom to want Layla involved with something. So, they had her start gymnastics. It's safe to say that she was a natural.
By the time she turned ten, Layla was a pro and grew bored with gymnastics. So, her father brought her to a love that he once had as a child. He taught her archery and this strengthened the father-daughter bond even more. It was no secret that Layla favored her father more. Her mother strived for Layla to be the best. Nothing was ever good enough. She hated when Layla would attempt to find fun or even slack off in the slightest. It became so bad that their family nights would be filled with screaming matches that ended in slammed doors. One time, her mother actually slapped her.
When she turned sixteen, Layla's father was killed in battle. His platoon was ambushed. He was trying to defend civilians and took four bullets. He died because of blood loss. It was Layla's mother's reaction that pushed her over the edge. The woman didn't even flinch when she told her daughter what happened and told Layla to suck it up when the tears began to form. To Layla, it almost felt like her mother never loved her father and she exploded on the woman. It was safe to say that their relationship suffered greatly and while Layla knew that her mother simply was not an emotional person, it still hurts to think that she didn't even react. As soon as she graduated, Layla was out the door. She's looked back every now and then, calling her mother to check in with a detached tone. It is no secret that she misses the older woman.
Who You Are|| Jessie J
I stare at my reflection in the mirror:
"Why am I doing this to myself?"
Losing my mind on a tiny error,
I nearly left the real me on the shelf.
No, no, no, no, no...
Don't lose who you are in the blur of the stars!
Seeing is deceiving, dreaming is believing,
It's okay not to be okay.
Sometimes it's hard to follow your heart.
Tears don't mean you're losing, everybody's bruising,
Just be true to who you are!
(who you are [x11])
Brushing my hair, do I look perfect?
I forgot what to do to fit the mold, yeah!
The more I try the less it's working, yeah
'Cause everything inside me screams
No, no, no, no, no...
Don't lose who you are in the blur of the stars!
Seeing is deceiving, dreaming is believing,
It's okay not to be okay.
Sometimes it's hard to follow your heart.
But tears don't mean you're losing, everybody's bruising,
There's nothing wrong with who you are!
Yes, no's, egos, fake shows, like whoa!
Just go and leave me alone!
Real talk, real life, good love, goodnight,
With a smile that's my own!
That's my own, no...
No, no, no, no, no...
Don't lose who you are in the blur of the stars!
Seeing is deceiving, dreaming is believing,
It's okay not to be okay...
Sometimes it's hard to follow your heart.
Tears don't mean you're losing, everybody's bruising,
Just be true to who you are!
Yeah yeah yeah
- Layla, despite her mother's obvious distaste, got her belly pierced when she was sixteen. It was probably one of the most liberating feelings in the world.
- There is a cursive tattoo on her inner wrist that says, "Dream big, love hard." It's very small, but it's dear to her heart. Her father used to say it all the time.
