Description

Nzuri has long raven black hair, fair skin, and brilliantly blue eyes. Though she lacks great muscles she is quite thin around the waist, arms, and legs; her figure is completed with an almost perfectly preportioned chest and hips. Many have called her a beauty and have compared her to the queen, however she does not possess sexiness (though that could simply be due to the fact she does not wish to be) If you do see her she is usually dressed in a black dress and some small black slippers. She is the physical definition of dainty.
Nzuri is a female and is 18 years old (I can change that if necessary)

Personality

Nzuri can come across as shy and a self-inflicted outcast, however the more you know her the more social she becomes. In truth she is also a complete pessimist; finding the good in people and cercumstances is hard for her since so many times she has been abandoned or as failed. Doubt is her greatest enemy and friend, and due to that doubt she many times can't find the confidence to do the things she needs to with her abilities. She is not easily frightened but that doesn't mean she will do just about anything, rather if she had a choice in the matter she would much rather remain in the comfort of her own home. The only thing that could truly drag her away from it due to her own free will is when another person is in danger; she can not stand to see the people around her (known or unkown) get hurt. If given the choice Nzuri would quickly give her life to save someone elses; if she ever had confidence in anything it would be her ability to die. In someways this fact could also mean she is somewhat masochistic.

-Side-note: She is terrified of blood. (other people's not her own)

Equipment

Nzuri carries a single dagger for protection; it is not fanciful and can be bought at almost every shop for a low price. Another thing that she carries with her is the ability to manipulate the minds of those around her. Though it is unlikely she will be using it unless it is absolutely required and even then she is more inclined to run away.

History

Nzuri was born to a small and common family the same year the benevolent King and his Queen were sadly met with their demise. As time progressed her mother was forced to flee to a neighboring village when her husband was killed and their house was ransacked in search for their newly born infant. Time passed and Nzuri was constantly being hid untill the time she was old enough to pass as being a year older than she was. At that time she became free to roam along side her mother and around town. When she turned seven years old through a course of accidental events involving a fire she became an orphan. Her aunt and uncle then took up the task of raising her; during this time poverty struck and crime rates escalated. Four years later a thief broke into their house, in an attempt to stop them both her aunt and uncle were murdered. Nzuri bore witness to this crime; she was so close to the murders she was actually drenched with their blood; terrified the murderer tried to destroy all evidence of what he had done and that evidence was Nzuri. As he came at her she desperately screamed at him to leave her home and leave her. Only after saying it twice the man's eyes glazed over and he left the home leaving the child alone and confused. After that she began to experiment more and more and she realized she had the ability to manipulate minds. Unfortunately when she attempted to save a man's life her mind control failed and soon she began to doubt herself so much she stopped using it. That however was only after she had lost a great many friends when they found out about her mind manipulating ability (all assumed even though she tried so hard to convince them that she had used her ability to force them into being her friend; this of course caused her to lose faith in those around her and herself).
