Personality: To say that Ariana is a curious person is a bit of an understatement. She is well known for getting in trouble for exploring a bit beyond the safety points and trying things that she has never done before. She wants to know all that she can, if she's never done something before she will always have an urge to go and do it, if only once to see what it's like no matter how bad it is. Because of this she has a reckless nature and is thought of by the other hunters as a bit of a safety hazard. However, she knows that she is just as good if not more skilled than the others and she tries to prove that to them by keeping herself in check so they don't have to. No matter how hard she tries though, she's still the weaker link because, as everyone knows, curiosity killed the cat. To remind her of that, the other hunters actually nicknamed her Kat and refer to her by that when they feel like teasing her.
Other than that though, she's really good at what she does. Due to her past with her parents, she had been in the profession and training of hunting since she was able to walk. So she is quite good at what she does. More than often though, she questions the morality of it all and whether killing them is right. While most hunters relish in their kills, she simply sees it as doing her duty for her parents. She feels like she owes it to them to carry on their legacy. But after each kill, she numbs herself out to avoid feeling the guilt. The more she kills, the more she has to numb herself out and the longer it takes to get out of the funk that she gets into.
Most of the time though, she is really just a fun sweet girl, and people would never imagine she does the things she does. She looks innocent and it always works to her advantage when it comes time to do her job. Even the fact that she smokes seems so far fetched to some people due to the kind of person she looks like. Very few people can break so many rules and do so many things and still give off the vibe of pure innocence when people see her, but she does. But once people get to know her or hang out with her long enough, they realize that she doesn't really care about rules or restrictions of life.

History:
Ariana's parent's were both hunters, and when she was born she was expected to live the same path that they did. Instead of toys plastic hammers she was given plastic stakes. Instead of dolls she received vampires figurines that she would be taught to impale with the stakes. The only thing that she was raised up with was the fact that vampires were bad, and they needed to be exterminated. Nothing else in the world mattered. Friends weren't needed, hobbies weren't needed. The only thing that was relevant and needed to be known about was vampires and extermination. But she never really understood their way of life. She never fully agreed with them and was often found trying to teach herself to ride a bike or reading a fictional book. Her parents would always find her and scold her, but it never really phased her curiosity for the world.
When she was thirteen, her parents sent her on her first job to take out her own vampire. They were watching, but it was her job to do. She was going in for the kill, but found that she did not see the evil that her parents had told her about. She had a stake at the chest of the vampire but couldn't drive it through. She pulled away and the vampire took his chance to lunge at her. They both fell back and over a railing into the lake, and the vampire held her down underwater. Just as she was about to lose consciousness, his hand came off of her and she was on shore. She was too out of it to know what happened, but after that day her parents and the vampire were found dead. She never knew who pulled her out of the water. She never knew how her parents died. She never realized how both her parents and the vampire could both be killed. But she knew it was her fault, and she owed it to them to have the life they so desperately and strictly planned out for her, even if it wasn't the life she had wanted.
