Eirawen has the ability to manipulate ice, which unlike fire, is much easier to control and manipulate. However, ice is like a double-edged sword, while it has the power to hurt those around the caster, it also holds dangerous potential to inflict damage to the caster. While fire has a mind of its own, ice holds no emotions nor sympathy, thus most of the times do hurt Eirawen no matter how much control she exerts over it. To control ice, it requires the calmness of mind and the grace of movements, instead of purely manipulating with the mind, ice requires the movements and gestures of the body to be fully manipulated. If she were to fear her own powers, which happened very often, ice had more potential to hurt her and those around her mercilessly. While her powers are greatest near sources of water, it weakens by far in the presence of heat or the season of summer.
Weaknesses
Unlike her sister, Eirawen always retains the calmness of mind, thus making her cold and uncaring to those around her. While she retains the same emotional state, she often cannot help but let fear seep through as she manipulates her element, thus making it difficult for her to cast any powers at all. Her ability to keep her emotions in check also comes with the dangerous mercilessness and apathy of ice, making her dangerous when angered, for she shows no mercy to those in her way. Fire had the power to completely nullify her abilities and thus, unless cast by her sister, she will not stand the presence of fire or heat.
Personality
Ever since she was little, she had often displayed cold and apathetic traits much similar to the element she manipulates. While she holds an icy personality, she displays surprising love and dedication to her own sister, who was the only person other than her father she cared for during her early years. She was often described to be as cold and edgy as ice, and longs for the feeling of peace and comfort rather than the company of others.
The Dracyris family come from old money. Eirawen's great grandfather was the one to move to the town of Henrietta, making Eirawen and her twin sister the third generation in this town. The twins are sole heirs to Dracyris Business Lawyers, LLC. Similar to her sister, she held no care toward the family business but was forced into a major she did not want to take up: Law. However, the cold calculating aspects of law fit perfectly into her personality, making her more rational than emotional during most situations.
Unlike her emotional sister, Eirawen could not care less who her father married in the past year. Although she held love toward her father, she held no emotions nor attachment to the new woman in their lives. Although independent, she prefers the company of her twin sister and no one else, preferring to stay along in her rooms than to go anywhere off of the university's campus.
While she grew up in a privileged life, Eirawen held no desire for monetary means, often rejecting luxurious outfits and jewelry and choosing to maintain her reputation as being in the middle class rather than the higher class. However, with a privileged life comes a few things she could not lose, such as the grace and attitude of one who always had things go her way. She could be lenient with her ideas, unlike the stubbornness of her sister, for she chooses not to place expectations and attachment to things that go on in daily life, making her a cold and calculating character.
During the summer, she chose to keep her father company rather than go back to their mother with her sister, thus developing a slight bitterness from the presence of their step mother, even though she attempted to make herself believe that she held no feelings toward the situation. With notice to her sister's weakening abilities, she decides to accompany her on the path to find the Ley Line to aid her in the reawakening of her twin's strength.
