Power & Skills
Over her time at school, Leah has developed extraordinary strength. Now, she can’t do something as extreme as picking up a car, but she can lift about three hundred pounds without breaking a sweat. She can carry around two hundred pounds for an extended period of time. This does use up a lot of energy, though, and this makes her eat far more than you would think a girl of her size would.
She has a tendency to overthink and overcomplicate things••She’s not great at making friends••she has a hard time being assertive

The long-awaited child of hotel tycoon Richard Valston and former model Hallie Valston, Leah had a lot to live up to from the moment she was born. She suspects that her father had hoped for a son, an heir to take over the family business, but her unfortunate gender did not stop him from making his standards known. As soon as she could talk, she was to begin speaking in grammatically correct sentences- not only in English, but in Spanish and, later, French. An entire host of tutors were employed before she was old enough to begin school, and retained even after she began to attend a string of prestigious private schools, where only the best of the best went. And even among the best, Leah had to stand above all her peers.

The pressure upon the child may well have proved to be too much for any lesser child, but Leah proved early on to have a spine of steel. Strong and sensible, she accepted her father’s expectations without question, and surpassed them. Every spare moment is spent studying, practicing, learning, improving- after all, she must do her family proud. Leah has grown to be straight-laced, dedicated, and motivated, everything her father wished her to be.

One may well imagine that this indicates a weak will, a lack of an independent self, but Leah is no pushover. If she believes in something, little can sway her. That stubborn streak has gotten her in trouble before, and doubtless it will again.

Surprisingly, Leah has also developed a voracious appetite for fantasy stories. Her room at home has stacks of books scattered all over, and she’s rarely found without some book near at hand. Recently, she’s realized that not every second must be spent in pursuit of her studies, and that has allowed her to delve deeper into the realms of fiction. Because she reads so much, she’s developed the ability to both read and follow a conversation simultaneously. Its this love of fantasy that has sent her on the search for the Ley Line.

All of her dedication to her studies have left Leah a little lacking in social interactions with her peers. She can converse well (a necessary skill for those in her social circle) but is a little lost when just ‘hanging out.’ That doesn’t mean she doesn’t have friends, but she’s definitely not a social butterfly. And she’s even more lost when it comes to boys- if one flirts with her, she tends to blush beet red and become temporarily incapable of coherent speech.
