Subject #02 has shown to have a soft, rounded build and a slight frame. He has little muscle mass, but the majority of his muscle weight has been measured to concentrate in his legs. Subject #02 has proven difficult to procure an exact physical representation of, because when nervous the subject seems to put up a camouflage guard which causes his features to become fuzzy. In examination the subject has shown to have severe scarring of the skin on his left knee and calf, from a "dog accident," according to the subject. Subject #02 has been shown to refuse to speak any more on the matter.

"I think it's important to keep my chin up and my face still for as long as possible. Be happy even when I feel sad. It's all about appearances. Nanny used to tell me if I pretended long enough, anything could become reality. I'm still hoping, and laughing through the fist clenched heavy in my gut."
Subject #02 has been determined to posses a very nervous and anxiety prone personality, though observation and interview have shown that he works very hard to hide these traits. When faced with threats, Subject #02 flees 82% of the time and fights 18% of the time, typically after he has observed the threat and determined whether he believes he can overcome the threat. Subject #02 has been determined to have a low self esteem and a low judge of character. When faced with a threat much lower than him in strength, the subject still fled or hid 65% of the time. However, Subject #02 has displayed great compassion, and when faced with a situation where fleeing would harm another, he showed a drop of 40% in attempts to flee a situation, though his attempts to step in and defend someone being harmed only rose by 12%.

Despite his favoring of flight, when faced with inescapable threats, or pain, the subject's demeanor changes. He has displayed more verbal tendencies, which verge on babbling, and his tendency to laugh and display smiles raises greatly. Interview with family has shown that the subject is "more cheerful the worse he feels," according to his mother. Testing has confirmed the hypothesis: causing the subject to become nauseous led to an increase in the subject's optimism.
Power
"Once when I was little I swallowed a metal marble to see if I could see it when I went invisible. It didn't work."
Subject #02's powers have been determined to include light bending and camouflage. He has displayed an adept control of light, he can create total darkness or tiny balls of light that are hot to the touch for short amounts of time. The subject rarely uses these powers, however, in favor for another. The subject can bend light away from himself, which renders him partly invisible. The subject appears to not be totally adept at his power, because pieces of his form still remain visible when he exerts the single power alone. The other side of the Subject's powers seem to be camouflage. He changes the colors of his body to reflect what is behind him, and the colors move as he does, following his back drop. When he only uses camouflage, Subject #02's basic figure is visible on close inspection, and when both the light bending and camouflage are used together, the subject is nearly invisible. The camouflage only works, however, if the subject knows what is behind him.
Subject #02's powers of camouflage also stretch to things around him, he can camouflage his clothing and other small items, but he cannot camouflage anything that is made of metal. The subject has been tagged with a metal band on his wrist so he can be tracked even when invisible.

"The only person I really miss is my nanny. I hate it here, but I have to be strong for her, because she was strong for me.I could care less about my parents. They are just as afraid as I am. They just wear adult clothes and pretend everything is okay. I can play that game too."
The following account has been gleaned from the subject and family members of the subject and others of the household staff, who provided their son willingly to the program.
The subject is the only child of Hana and Michael Chambers, a neurosurgeon and a lawyer. According to the subject's nanny, who spoke at length about the boy, the parents were not often around. "For a long time I was the only one who knew what he could do. I still remember walking into his toy room one morning and not finding him where I left him. I called out to him. Then he appeared out of thin air." She kept the secret for several years, and cared for the boy like her own son.
When the subject was twelve, according to his mother, the family "decided to go on a long vacation." According to the nanny it was the longest he'd spent with his parents and away from home. On the way to the airport, a car swerved in front of them, and frightened, the child disappeared from view. "One moment he was there, and the next the seat-belt was floating in the air where he'd been," said his father.
For a few weeks, the subject received more attention from his parents than he'd ever dreamed of, but they came to fear his powers, and the boy was left alone with his nanny again. Quietly Subject #02's parents searched for some way to rid themselves of the burden of taking care of such a potentially dangerous child, and he came into the RIST at the age of 16.
"Sometimes the only thing to do is make the best out of the situation. I run when I can, and bear my due burden when I can't. Sometimes I wish I could die, but I'm too afraid to stop living, so I guess my fear is useful for some things. It's easy to not resist, be pulled along by the flow, but it's terribly difficult to take everything that falls my way, from the tests to the cold ring of iron clamped to my wrist to track me. I just know that I have to hold on tight for now and remember that pain, like all things, will pass, and I need to make the best of my situation, because it is all I have."
