|{ Childhood/Family Life }|

Sebastian's father met his mother, Vera, whilst on a business trip in Moscow. At the time, Sebastian Sr was married and thought nothing of the torrid affair. It was simply one of many affairs he had had and Vera was nothing to him. Vera, on the other hand, had fallen deeply in love with Sebastain Sr, and when she found out that she was carrying his child, Vera was overjoyed. When she told Sebastian Sr, he was adamant that she must have an abortion, saying he would never love the child or even acknowledge it.
Vera was heart broken but still refused to give up the child of the man she loved so dearly. So instead, the baby - a boy - was born in the midst of a blizzard at one am on the Eighteenth of November. A baby which Vera named after her beloved - Sebastian.

For the first year of his life, Sebastian was raised by his mother, Vera in Moscow, Russia. Where she worked tirelessly to scrape together enough money for a plane ticket to get her and her son to see his father. It took three years before she could afford the flights but in Vera's mind, it was all worth it. She could see her Sebastian again, and Vera was overjoyed at this prospect. However, upon arriving in New York, it quickly became apparent that Sebastian Sr was not going to see Vera. He blocked all of her calls and wouldn't allow her into his office or home. Vera would try again and again to get Sebastian Sr to see his son but it wasn't working.

So Vera did what she thought she had to do. She contacted Sebastian Sr's wife, Vera told her everything about their affair and Sebastian Jr. His wife, being a kindhearted woman, did not hang up. Instead, she arranged to meet Vera. Lucille, Sebastian Sr's wife, told Vera that she and her husband would take in baby Sebastian - Who still did not know what was happening, being only three at the time - and raise him as her own. Although Vera wanted to remain in contact with her son, Lucille forbade in and eventually, Vera gave in, realising that it was best for Sebastian Jr to be with his father and to have a good life, not the live of poverty she could only ever offer him.
So Vera returned to Russia, without her son. And she hasn't been heard from since.

Sebastian Jr was raised as Lucille's son, he had no recollection of his actual mother and so believed everything they said him. When he had strange dreams of a woman, Vera, Lucille would tell him that she was his Russian wet nurse when he was a baby, nothing more. And soon, Sebastian forgot about Vera all together. It is unknown how Lucille convinced her husband to take in Seb but he did. But that doesn't mean Sebastian Sr was kind to him. Quite the opposite in fact. His father was a cruel man who would scold Sebastian, even as a baby for the most mundane reasons. Which made Sebastian form a strong hatred towards his father. He hated him with a burning passion. The man would barely acknowledge him and when he did, it would only be to scold him or shove Seb out of his way.

|{ High School Career }|

Sebastian wasn't always as scary as he is now, in fact, he used to be a very timid and depressed Freshman. When he first came to Saint Judes, nobody knew him or his past. Sebastian tried to stay out of the limelight, afraid that someone might find out about his father's abuse. He was sad all of the time. But that sadness eventually turned to anger. It was Sophomore year when he found out about Vera. Lucille was sickly and knew that if she didn't tell Sebastian the truth right then, that he would never know. So she told Sebastian Jr about his real mother, and about how she took him in and told Vera not to contact him. Which Lucille confessed she did regret saying. Sebastian was angry at Lucille but masked it, instead forcing every fibre of his being to hate his father. He hated his father more than anything.

It was after Lucille's death that Sebastian started rebelling against his father, if all Sebastian Senior cared about was his reputation, then Sebastian would wreck that. He started going by Seb, trying to differentiate himself from his father. He slept around, drank heavily and even started dealing drugs, not for the money but in the hopes he would get caught and have his father's pristine reputation be tarnished. Sebastian Senior could force him into dating the Crown's daughter, Hazel. But he couldn't make him be faithful to her. Hazel was his girlfriend only for the public, but she was also weak and Sebastian started finding pleasure in controlling her. He made her act certain ways, dress in certain clothing and most of all, she had to be faithful. Seb could do what he liked, but he made sure that Hazel was the perfect girlfriend. Seb knew about all her lies and found them tedious because they were so obvious. He could see straight through them. No one can lie quite like him. Now, in Senior year, Seb is still dating [and controlling] Hazel, he's still rebelling against his father and his drug business is really getting very popular - His favourite client, perhaps, being Jane.

| {Good personality traits}|

Intelligent | Strong-Willed | Charismatic | Flirtatious

{ Bad personality traits }|

Sarcastic | Manipulative | Cruel | Bitter

|{Personality}|

Sebastian has a precise and clear vision, knowing exactly what he needs to do and when he needs to do it. Manipulative, cold and precise Seb is a no-nonsense kind of person but he does love playing games - Only under his rules, naturally. It would be a mistake for someone to ever get on his bad side, Sebastian has ways of causing certain misfortunes to those that cross him.

However, Sebastian is still able to turn on the charm when he must, being not only a drug pusher but also a recruiter in a gang means you have to be able to persuade people to do things, even if they know it's wrong. Seb's charming yet reserved demeanour has made him the target of many's affection, they think he's a 'bad boy' with a careless attitude; but Sebastian runs much deeper than that. He may have tricked people into believing he's a charming rebel but Sebastian's a much more sinister character. He is constantly looking forward, every single move of his is calculated, no matter how offhanded and spur of the moment it may seem, there's alway an agenda with him.

Sebastian makes it his business to know everything he possibly can about someone before meeting them, it makes it easy for him to gauge whether they're worth his time or not this way. He's one of the most deceptive people you will ever meet, but Sebastian will never let you see that side of him. It's too dangerous for Seb to let anyone see who he really is, they could get inside his head - Hurt him and that's something Sebastian is not going to let happen willingly, he likes the way he is now, Sebastian's in control of his own life; he doesn't need or want anyone's help, love or affection. He just wants to survive.

{ Greatest joys in life }

Money: Money gives you power, and Sebastian craves power.
Controlling people: Sebastian loves to be able to manipulate people to do whatever he wants.
One-night Stands: There's nothing quite as satisfying to Sebastian as having a meaningless one-night stand.
Dealing: There's nothing that gets his Father's blood boiling more than a son involved in drugs - The money's just a bonus.

{ Greatest fears }

Finding His Mother: There's nothing Seb wants more and yet is so terrified of happening.
Lucille: Yes, she's dead but Sebastian is scared to think of what she'd say if she were here. Lucille would definitely be disappointed in him.
Being Cut Off: While he hates his father and has quite a bit of money from dealing, without his father funding his lavish and luxurious parties and alcohol consumption, Sebastian would be poor very, very quickly.
Sebastian Sr.: Seb acts as though he doesn't care about what his father thinks and while that's true, he's also scared of what his father might do if he gets too out of hand.

{ Life philosophy }

"You can fuck right off with this 'Life Philosophy' bullshit. I live by my rules not some famous dead person's last words."

Father | Sebastian Wilson Jardine Senior | Fifty-Six
Even when Seb was a child, his father would only ever speak to him if he either wanted to scold him or tell him he is a disappointment. Now, Sebastian will do anything to ruin his father and his reputation he regards so highly.

Current Step-Mother | Angela Louise Jardine | Thirty-Seven
Sebastian was only introduced to his 'new mother' a week before school but he has already decided she's a money-grabbing bitch. It's quite clear she's only with Sebastian's father for his money but Sebastian Sr doesn't seem to mind.

Mother | Vera { ? } | { ? }
Sebastian really knows nothing about his mother except that she was persuaded into giving him away by Lucille and she lives in Russia. He hopes to find her one day, but he also doesn't want her to see him the way he is now.

Deceased Step-Mother | Lucille Kathleen Jardine | Forty {When she died}

|{ Siblings }|

Step-Brother | Tyler Vincent Smith | Twenty
Tyler is Angela's son, who was only seventeen when she had him. Eventhough he's only two years older than Sebastian, he likes to act superior which pisses off Sebastian and makes him hate Tyler. Tyler also calls Sebastian 'Junior' which Seb hates.

"Morning," Sebastian was awoken but a soft but unfamiliar voice, followed by a kiss.
Sitting up in the large king-sized bed, Sebastian rubs his eyes, trying to recollect what had happened the night before. All he could remember was going to a club, drinking heavily and some girl - What was her name..Bethany? No, Brooke?
He shrugs, it doesn't matter either way, she wasn't going to be around for much longer.

Slipping on a pair of nearby boxer shorts, Sebastian turns to face the pretty girl, smiling at him.
"Uh, morning..Brooke." Sebastian replies, confused as to why she wasn't gone already. He made it quite clear to every girl who stayed the night that they shouldn't be there when he wakes up.
Frowning, the girl shakes her head, "It's Tiffany," she hisses, clearly annoyed at Seb.
Damn, not even close, he thinks.

"Ah yeah, of course, Tiffany." Sebastian says nodding, making his way toward the en-suit bathroom.
Turning on the shower tap, he turns to face Tiffany, who had followed him to the bathroom.
"So you should probably be going now, right?" Sebastian says, a command masked as a suggestion.
Laughing bitterly, Tiffany rolls her eyes at Seb, "You're such a dick Sebastain." She growls, clearly hurt. Tiffany then walks back to the bedroom and redresses.

After hearing the front door slam, Sebastian smirks before stepping into the shower and washing. Some girls can be so difficult to shake, he sighs, honestly, how thick can one girl be?
Once washed and dried, Sebastian throws on a random outfit from his wardrobe, which consisted of a simple checked shirt, jeans and black boots.

It is then that Sebastian's doorbell rings, hoping it wasn't Tiffany come to shout at him like a few girls had done in the past, Seb hesitantly opens the front door. Peering out to see his father's assistant, "You're looking good, Christine," Sebastian says in greeting, his eyes following the curves of her body.
"Keep trying, Seb." Christine retorts playfully before handing his a thick envelope, "I only came here to give you this months allowance."
Seb sighs, pretending to be hurt, "And here I was hoping we could have some fun," he says before taking the envelope, him and his father might not be close but as long as Sebastian Sr kept the cash flowing, Sebastian Jr would carry on dating the insufferable Hazel Crown and just generally stay out of his father and his new family's way.

"Sweetheart you're still in school, I like men - Not boys," Christine laughs, shaking her head, "Speaking of school, aren't you meant to be in it now?"
Sebastian had completely forgotten. He had been enjoying his summer far too much to think about going back to that dump.
"Shit, yeah." placing the money in his safe, Sebastian walks out the door and past Christine.
He then turns back after getting a few paces ahead of her, "You can't resist me for long," He calls back to her, a mischievous grin plastered on his face.

Deciding to walk to school for once, Sebastian arrived at the gates in ten minutes as he hardly lives far away.
Noticing a group of familiar girls, crowding around one edge of the school grounds, Sebastian places his signature smirk once again on his face before walking towards them.
"Hello ladies," Sebastian says to the whole group, his aura dripping with charisma, before turning to face Sienna, "I missed the fun we had last summer this year, Sienna," He smirks, knowing the this would most likely provoke her. Then, turning his gaze towards Jane he sends her a sly wink, "You should keep those glasses," Sebastian tells her, "I like them."

Sienna's entire demeanor shifted as soon as Sebastion appeared. Her entire body tensed, her grip on her travel mug tightened instinctively, and she tried to look everywhere but at the male. She even pressed herself a little closer to Jane imperceptibly. Despite how bold and rather cheery Sienna could be, all of that felt trivial when in Sebastion's presence. His aura, though alluring and charming at times, hinted at something that tugged at her survival instincts and overwhelmed her. She had out-rightly avoided his advances when she was with Vincent. She had been safe. And then, that one night where her safety net snapped, so did her resolve.

And she's been trying to pretend like it never happened.

Obviously, Sebastion decided that today was not the day to pretend. "Oh yeah, I loved that club. What was it, Utopia? We hung out the opening night that year," she stated in a hopefully authentic voice that dropped with fond remembrance. She grinned at the others, a sort of giggle on her glossed lips. "You guys missed it! I had a blast!"

"Boys, it's time to get up!" Colin's mother's cheerful voice rang out, causing him to stir only slightly. He was exhausted and wasn't ready to get back on the early wake up schedule that the school year required. It took him around ten minutes for him to manage to pull himself out of his bed and in that time, his two younger brothers had already hopped out of the bunk beds they shared on the opposite side of the room.

"School, school, school!" his youngest brother, Max, shouted as he pulled on a sweatshirt and a pair of jeans. He was probably the wildest of the bunch and never seemed to have a shortage of energy, whether it was seven in the morning or eleven at night. Mikey, the oldest of the three adopted siblings had already gotten dressed and left the room by the time that Colin got to the closet. He shuffled through some button down shirts that were hanging before going to his dresser and pulling out a simple blue t-shirt and black pants. He knew that today was the first day back with all of his classmates, as well as the first time he would be seeing his longtime crush, Jane Lynch, since before summer break, but he didn't want to look too overdone. He figured that it was better to look clean cut and simple than to overdress and make a fool out of himself. His family wasn't broke, but they didn't have extra room in their budget for the frivalous and unnecessarily expensive clothes that his friends could indulge in. Luckily most guys didn't care about that type of stuff, but he still felt like it was better to just accept where he stood than to try to be something he wasn't.

After showering, he put his clothes on and made his way out to the kitchen. His father was already gone to work but his mother stood over the oven, placing pancakes onto his sister Calista's plate. She smiled when she saw him coming in and made a plate for him as well.

"My homemade, organic blueberry pancakes," she explained, handing it to him. "You know, they're Mikey's favorite," she said, motioning to her second son who sat at the table. She leaned closer to him and whispered with a wink, "and they're sugar-free for Max".

Colin laughed and quickly grabbed a seat at the table with his siblings. The pancakes smelled delicious and just like with all of his mother's other meals, Colin was quick to gobble the pancakes down. "Dude, second grade is gonna be awesome," Colin said to Max, ruffling his hair. "And Mikey, you've got Mrs. Becker for fourth grade, right? I had her back in the day. She used to be pretty nice but I don't know now man, she's probably getting old and cranky," he added with a grin. His mother lightly slapped the dish towel she was holding against the back of his head. "He's joking, Michael. Mrs. Becker is going to love you,". Colin nodded in agreement but as soon as Monica turned her back to them, Colin dramatically shook his head and mouthed "no way", getting a snicker out of Mikey.

After finishing his glass of water, Colin said goodbye to his siblings and headed to the bus stop. He lived in midtown which meant that he usually spent thirty to forty minutes commuting each way to Saint Jude's in Brooklyn during the school year. Today's school event was being held at Constance Billard, Saint Jude's sister school, which was located in the Upper East Side. It was around three miles from his apartment and although Colin didn't mind walking there, as he frequently did when he went to hang out with Vincent or other friends who resided in the area, he knew that it would take too long and opted for the bus. Because of all of the stops and the typical New York traffic, it still took around twenty-five minutes for him to get there. The bus stop that he got off at was about a block from the school and by the time that Colin got off, he had a text from Vincent, telling him to hurry up because Jane was there.

The mention of Jane brought butterflies to his stomach. She had disappeared without good reason this summer and even though Colin didn't have her number to inquire about it himself (not like he ever would, even if he did), he had heard through Vincent that she spent all summer in California. Colin had convinced himself that she probably had some wealthy boyfriend there and that even if when she did get back for school, his chances of her liking him would have decreased even more than before she left.

When he saw her standing with her friends, he new that Vincent was right. She was gorgeous and as much as she turned him on, he still felt like he had no chance with her. Rather than approach her and deal with his sudden awkwardness that always seemed to make a grand appearance whenever he was in Jane's vicinity, he headed over to Vincent who was standing by the school's door.

"Hey man," he said with a half-wave as he approached Vince. He nodded his head back towards Sienna, Sydney, Carter, Vivienne, Jane, and now Sebasitan Jardine. "I don't know if it's just because I haven't seen her in a while or if it's those glasses, but dude, she's hotter than I remembered. You think you can talk to her for me tonight?" he asked, not wanting to seem too desperate, although he knew that Vincent already knew just how badly he wanted her.

Although there was always a bit of tension present between Sydney and Sienna, even if it was only Sydney who felt it, she was glad to be back with all of her girls again. They always had so much fun together and being with them reminded her of how excited she was for the party tonight. It was going to be the perfect start to a perfect senior year, or at least Sydney hoped it would be.

Sydney maintained a friendly smile when Jane brought up her "forgetting" to invite Sydney and Sienna over and she was glad that Sienna didn't make a big deal out of it. "I was working out the final details for tonight and it totally slipped my mind," she commented, glad that the conversation quickly switched gears after that. "Hey! I think Justin is kinda cute," Sydney objected when Jane ignorantly compared his look to that of a lesbian and Sienna, less offensively corrected her and said he just had a childish look. "I would have went for it too when I met him last summer, but he was still with Selena then too," she said to Vivienne with half a smile.

She met the singer at the end of the summer last year when he hosted SNL. Her grandfather and most of the cast wasn't too fond of him but Sydney had a short conversation with him and he didn't seem like the arrogant punk that the media made him out to be. Vivienne and Sienna obviously knew his personality better than she did though, but she at least found his appearance to be attractive.

Sydney maintained her smile as Carter appeared and wrapped his arms around her and Vivienne. Carter was one of the nicest guys that she knew. Not only was he respectful, intelligent and responsible, but he was also attractive. They had been friends since he started dating Vivienne and had continued to be that after they broke up, but once Sydney heard from Jane that Sienna was interested in him, she also developed a sort of affection for him too. She knew that it was probably more of a desire to compete with, or steal from Sienna, than a genuine romantic crush, but she wouldn't admit that to anyone. "Mine was good too," she responded to his question. "But I definitely missed you and Leah. That baby is probably so much bigger than she was last time I saw her!" Sydney had always admired Carter's dedication to his daughter. It was brave of him to take on such a role when caring for a child probably wasn't exactly the biggest dream of most teenage boys.

Before their conversation could go any further, another familiar face appeared. It was Sebastian Jardine, someone who Sydney didn't know particularly well personally, but knew much about reputation-wise. Jane had always warned her against getting too close to him, claiming that she had "friends who said he was bad news" but his bad boy persona was intriguing. He wasn't her usual "type" of guy, but she considered the idea that maybe a new school year would mean new experiences too.

Sydney raised an eyebrow when his first comment was to Sienna about past "fun" that they had. She had never heard of the encounter and didn't believe that whatever Sebastian was talking about was as innocent as the club opening that Sienna tried to explain it to be. She didn't call Sienna out on it but added it to the list of things that she would scope out later on. After he complimented Jane on her glasses, Sydney gave her a gentle elbow to the side and a confused look. Jane insisted that he was basically a villain but she really only saw the charming side of him.

She caught sight of Jane's iPhone screen and saw that she was texting Sebastian Arrendale. Sydney rolled her eyes and didn't hesitate to announce it to their group. "She's texting the other Sebastian. Sorry Seb, but it looks like she's more interested in your name twin than you," she said, her tone a bit spiteful towards the boy but typical for her. She liked to see how people would react to her bitchiness. Some were intimidated and backed down instantly but others, the ones who she would either click well with or clash immensely with, liked to play the game too. Seb was one of the ones who know how to counter her comments, but in an intriguing way. There were others, like Lacey Cartier-Porter, who did it in a way that just pissed her off.

Jane only looked up from her phone for a second before returning her gaze to the screen. In those few seconds, she had spotted Sebastian Jardine a few yards away and she hoped that maybe if she kept her head down, he wouldn't notice her. That wasn't the case though, because within a minute, he had joined their little circle and was talking to Sienna about something they had done in a previous summer.

She didn't think too deep into what Sebastian said and hoped that he would continue his conversation with Sienna about their memories at Utopia. Of course, he didn't, and as she lifted her gaze away from her phone and towards him, he gave her a wink and complimented her on her glasses. In response, she made a mental note not to wear the glasses out again and offered him a weak smile. It was the first time that she had seen Seb in months and she could only imagine that he would be eager to sell her more Adderall. The pills were an old guilty pleasure. While their intended use was to assist people with attention deficit disorders, one of their side effects was weight loss and after learning that, Jane was eager to start taking them. Her psychiatrist wouldn't prescribe them to her for the obvious reasons that she didn't have ADHD and was being treated for losing too much weight already, so she turned to the only person who she knew could get them for her: Sebastian Jardine.

She had never outright told him that she had an eating disorder and really, Adderall was a typical go-to prescription drug for students who wanted to ace a test or focus on studying for finals, but Jane knew that Seb wasn't stupid. She had asked him before buying the first time if he could confirm that they would help her lose weight and after that, it was hard to cover up her need for them with some phony excuse that she wanted to start doing well in school. So, she assumed that he probably knew but because of their agreement, he had kept her disorder and the fact that she even knew him well, a secret from everyone else.

After all of the work she had put into recovery over the summer, she knew she couldn't start taking the pills again. It would be the push to sent her back down the slippery slope of her eating disorder. Even though part of her wanted to get back down to her unhealthy goal weight, the healthy part of her knew that she was okay where she was. She was healthy and fairly happy, and was motivated to stay that way. However, she knew Seb. She knew that he wouldn't be pleased with her refusing to help fuel his business. He thrived off of her disorder and now that she wanted to abandon that, she was going to be abandoning their silent agreement too, and Jane knew that he wouldn't react well to that.

She was glad that her phone went off again, directing her attention away from Seb as she read Bastion's response. The mention of him being with Daphne made her mood go from bad to worse. Being away all summer meant that Jane didn't have too many good comebacks on hand, not like her normal ones were very good anyway. However, she did want to see Bastion so she wasn't going to let her ruin it.

Just as she hit send, she felt Sydney leaning over her shoulder and before Jane could nudge her away, she took a cheeky shot at Seb about how she was more interested in conversing with Bastion than him. It was true, simply because Bastion was more than a genuine friend and Seb was now an enemy, whether he knew it or not, but Jane didn't need Sydney to make a point out of that. She knew that it was just Sydney's personality. She wasn't trying to be disloyal or mean by throwing her under the bus, but just liked to cause little problems to see how people would react. Still, Jane wasn't in the mood for it, especially with everything else going on. She focused her eyes beyond the group, hoping that Bastion would arrive soon so she would have a reason to cheer up again.

Sebastian raised an eyebrow as Sienna blatantly lied about what they did last Summer, but nods anyway.
"I know you had a lot of fun," He smirks, it would be quite obvious to Sienna what he was hinting at, but everyone else simply thought they were talking about Utopia.
Noticing Jane's weak smile and shyness, which was completely out of character for her, he started to say something before being cut off by Sydney.

"She's texting the other Sebastian. Sorry Seb, but it looks like she's more interested in your name twin than you."
Sebastian couldn't help but smile, a genuine smile - not a smirk. God he found Sydney's sarcasm and sassiness hot. He was determined to get with her.

And just as he was about to retort with a comeback of his own, Sebastian was once again cut off, which really started to annoy him.
"Don't start the school year out being a dick Seb."
Sebastian turns his attention toward Vivienne, raising an eyebrow - Clearly amused.
"Don't start this year trying to be something you're not," She say, "Some people may think you're the big bad wolf but I know you're just a dog. That being said I will kick your ass this year if you pull that attitude crap you pulled last year."
This time, Sebastian can't hold it in and he laughs in Vivienne's face as he peers down at her, at least a foot taller.

Composing himself, Sebastian then puts on a very hurt face, "What on Earth did I do?" He asks, acting bewildered, "was it that I told Sienna that I missed her and the fun we had last summer? Or that I like Jane's glasses? " His tone then went from confused to cold and sarcastic, "Because neither sound particularly rude to me and even if it was, sweetheart, you couldn't hurt a fly." He finishes by ruffling her hair.

Sure Vivienne was undeniably hot but Lord was she thick if she thought she could mess with Sebastian.

"I think I'll leave now before someone blows a fuse," Sebastian looks at Jane, "I'll speak to you later."
He then walks away, towards the school building.

Sydney was surprised when Vivienne threatened Sebastian for his attitude. She actually found his cunning demeanor to be entertaining, if not attractive. Then again, it wasn't her in Sienna's place, who was at the end of his suggestive remarks. It was out of character for Sienna to not stick up for herself but judging by how the quick conversation had just played out, she assumed that there wasn't much to object to. It was obvious to Sydney that there was at least some truth in what Seb had said, and whatever had happened was more than just some innocent hangout session.

Seb left after giving one parting shot to Viv's defensiveness and oddly, a comment to Jane about speaking to her later. It was unexpected because not only had Jane constantly warned her against associating with him the previous year, but even now, she seemed uncomfortable in his presence. Sydney couldn't tell if Jane's lack of energy was just part of today's overall mood, or if it had stemmed from Seb's appearance, but either way she wasn't having it.

"You better just be in a bad mood because school's starting again," Sydney began. Because let's be honest, we all know that Jane isn't very school smart. "We don't need any bad vibes at the party tonight," she said, looking at Jane with an unsure expression. With the sudden appearance of Gossip Goddess, Sydney hoped that if there was drama tonight, which she would be stupid not to expect, that it at least wouldn't involve any of her friends. Sienna's earlier mention of one of their former classmates, Madeline, getting knocked up by a teacher was just a reminder of how, whoever this blogger was, seemed to find out everything. Although Sydney was sure that there was no way that any of her secrets, especially her fling with Vincent, would ever come up, it still worried her.

Sienna then continued on the topic of the party, pulling her attention away from Jane and to her other friend. "Oh my God, yes. I'm so excited to see who you guys are wearing," she said. Although she was speaking to Sienna, she was genuine in her words. Their relationship was strange. Sometimes it was fake and forced but because they did hang out so much, it was hard for Sydney to not actually like her and want to be real friends with her most of the time. "I already told Jane she's banned from wearing heels since I already look like I'm three feet tall when I'm next to her and she's not even wearing them, so we might need to stop at Barney's after school," she added with a playful roll of her eyes. "We can get ready and pregame at my place, but you two better not go over the top tonight." She spoke lightly but eyed Sienna and Jane, knowing how the pair had a tendency to drink too much when they were together. After being separated for a few months, she imagined that they would go even harder on their first night after being reunited.

As she looked away from the two, she remembered that Carter was standing with them. "You're coming tonight, right babe?" she asked, looking over at him before turning her attention back to the girls again. "I don't know if I should have told you two in advance, but I invited Seb too. I didn't know you two knew him so well but I guess it worked out that he's coming. You can work out your... unfinished business," she said with a small laugh. It was obvious that her two friends, and even Viv, appeared to be uncomfortable in his presence but she couldn't be to blame when neither of them had confided in her about their apparent connections with him.

Vincent didn't have to wait long before Colin came into view. He watched intently as his pal admired his crush from afar and then came over. Although Vincent had spent most of the summer at his family's home on Long Island, he did come in frequently to go out to the many clubs in Manhattan with his friends. Even if he hadn't seen Colin in a while, he wouldn't have made some big "OMG I haven't seen you in forever!!!" deal about it like he imagined the Constance girls to do. He simply nodded in acknowledgement as Colin approached and then began to comment on seeing Jane for the first time since spring.

"I'll talk to her, but dude, you need to step it up," he said, his eyes glancing back towards the girls. Carter Preston and Sebastian Jardine had joined the circle but judging by Vivienne's stance, she didn't seem to be taking well to whatever Sebastian was saying. "Both of us were born into families that don't make a shit load of money, so that puts us at a disadvantage compared to some of these other guys. To a lot of these girls, money is a big deal but what makes it irrelevant when it comes to me is how fucking irresistible I am, man. You know, you just gotta turn on the charm. Look, Jane is the only- well, one of the only, girls that I haven't slept with in that group, so I don't have any specific tips there..." he said, quickly correcting himself when he remembered that no one was supposed to know about him and Sydney. "All I'm saying is that you've got to stop being such an awkward dick and turn on the charm. Be confident. Don't ask her if she wants to hookup, just make the move. You've been chasing her for what? Three years? Four? And she doesn't even know you exist. I was serious with what I said- if you don't hit that tonight, she's fair game.

Someone who didn't know Vincent's behavior as well as Colin might have taken what he said offensively, but Vincent's arrogance was well known by most, especially Colin. He leaned against the wall of the school and glanced back towards the front of the campus where the girls stood. Seb Jardine was walking away but the others remained. Vincent couldn't help but to focus on Sienna, watching as she smiled and spoke to Carter. He was over her, or at least he insisted to himself that he was, but her beaming smile reminded him of their good days and he couldn't help but to get annoyed with Carter for even speaking to her. It was stupid and petty, especially because he talked to and even hooked up with Carter's ex, Viv, but it still bothered him.

Although Viv's response to Seb was probably a reaction to him antagonizing Sienna more than to his seemingly harmless comment about her glasses, Jane was glad that Viv stood up to Seb. It was clear that her friend didn't know her in the same way that she did and had nothing to lose by playing hero. She wasn't tangled up in his manipulative games and Jane envied Vivienne for that. The same went for Syd, but now Jane was curious to know what Sienna's connection to him was too.

She wondered if she had also went to him for drugs. Sienna was under a lot of pressure with her music career and growing fame, so maybe she was feeling stressed out enough that she needed pot or something to relax her. Jane studied Sienna while everyone was distracted with Seb responding to Viv, and considered that maybe she had also used weight loss drugs from Seb. Sienna's body was curvier than Jane's was, but her hourglass figure was slim and enviable. As Jane looked at her, she thought that it might be possible that Sia had fallen prey to Seb's trap too. However, she didn't think that any of her friends were as obsessed with their weight as she was. Sure, it was something that they would all talk about when they tried on clothes and commented on how fat they looked in the garments, but she couldn't imagine any of the other girls being as desperate as she was- desperate enough to go to Seb, of all people, for help.

As curious as Jane was, she decided that she probably wouldn't be the one to bring up Sienna's connection to him. She guessed that her friends would be just as curious to know how she knew Seb and what he needed to talk to her about later, as they would with Sia's relationship with him. Seb had left the group and Jane didn't want to have to dwell on the topic any longer, so when Sienna nudged her and offered a curious look, she shrugged, trying to appear clueless to what Seb had been talking about. "He is so bizarre," she said, shaking her head as if she had no idea as to why he would have acted like he knew her.

When the conversation shifted to the Kiss On The Lips party, Jane was definitely relieved. She didn't even mind when Sydney broadcasted that she was banned from wearing heels because she then mentioned going shopping. Although she was unsure if Sydney would come with her earlier, she knew that either Sienna or Viv would be willing to come along. "I know, my dress is going to look gross with flats too.", she said to Sienna before looking back to Sydney. "If you want me to wear flats, I'm going to have to get a new dress too."

Sydney's comment about her and Sienna drinking too much brought a grin to Jane's face. There was more truth to the fact that she and Sienna sometimes overdid it with the drinking than Jane would like to admit, but after a summer of sobriety, she felt like she deserved a couple more than a few shots tonight. She caught Sienna's wink and played along. falsely claiming, "We have school tomorrow morning and I'm not trying to get a hangover for the first day of classes!" It had never stopped her from going out on a school night before, and even though Jane definitely planned on drinking tonight, part of her did want to do better this school year.

Sydney and Sienna started fussing over Carter, which Jane had gotten used to but still felt strange about. Not only did it put her in between both of them wanting the same guy, but she also thought it was weird to do with Viv, his ex, standing right there. Although Jane had nothing against Carter, she didn't like how he had screwed Viv over and gotten another girl pregnant, even if Vivienne had forgiven him for it. "Is it time to go in yet?" she asked as her gaze moved towards the Constance Billard school building. She was getting bored and even though whatever waited inside would be more boring, she wanted to get the school day over with so they could go shopping and get drunk, probably her two favorite things to do.

"Just outside of Gwangju, I think it was? But we visited a few other cities as well, I might be wrong,"
having no intentions of inheriting the family business, Bastion is very much the typical wealthy child in his disinterest in his parents' work. It is more likely that one of his younger sisters, or perhaps both of them, will end up taking over the hotel and amusement park chains that the Arendales are famous for. Already, Delphine and Willow have that scheming sort of aspect that in childhood hints at quick minds and sharp tongues. The point being is that he rarely joins in on in depth discussion of the family business, and is lucky to have parents who are perfectly alright with this. He is in many ways similar to how they were at this age, and how they in many ways still are. His parents are somewhat unique in their ability to genuinely remember what it was like when they were younger, and respect Bastion going through the same stages. Of course, even back then his father had possessed a sort of charisma which Bastion doesn't believe himself to have. Leadership roles, outside of running the construction for theatre, aren't really his strong suit. Apparently he's too critical for them.

He is about to comment on Sephy's admission of her Summer being tiring, but is unintentionally interrupted by Jake upon the other student's arrival. While Daphne and Sephy greet him, and Sephy proceeds to panic about the fact that they may be running late, Bastion glances down at his phone and sees that he has another message from Jane --a predictable one, given what he had just told her. He can't help but roll his eyes, though he hypocritically hates it when people do this, at the little picture she has sent to express her displeasure. He very much doubts it will ever be possible for him to hang out with the both of them at once --it's like having two divorced parents who despise one another, as his time is split by them.

The conversation of glamorous internships and trips around the world are of course part of a world separate from Daphne's, but she has become accustomed to using Constance as a somewhat precarious rope bridge between the two spheres. It's actually quite interesting, hearing about the trips and such, as though she is reading some blog about the incredibly wealthy and famous youths who spend their weekends on yachts or at obscure french clubs. Such students are found in her English class, in the Orchestra, etc. It's almost fascinating to her, watching how the other side lives.

Still, friends who are more on her level, opportunity wise, are welcome. And when the gap is so wide, even someone who is upper middle class, as opposed to her station in the lower financial brackets, seems to be more in her world. She smiles, her smile that appears sarcastic even when sincere, in greeting towards Jake. "Luckily for you I'm not one for chopping off heads," she responds innocently. This is almost ironic, given how she is precisely the sort to do so, if provoked.

At Sephy's exclamation, her smile fades back into the typical neutral expression, though with a slight scrunch of her nose. They really should be leaving, then. "Well, onwards then," not going to wait for someone else to start the movement, Daphne begins walking towards the school.

Bastion tucks his phone away and follows. Luckily for the group, the school isn't too far away, perhaps a handful of blocks that equate a short walk. There, he sees a couple of people standing outside of the building, Jane among them. With a glance towards the others, and a sort of smile, he breaks away to go say hello to his childhood friend. Her being away for the summer is like having a sister disappear without word for months --of course he missed her, and is in fact sort of concerned. "Jane! Should I be offended, with you dropping off the map like that?" he asks, though now that he is speaking with her, Bastion is a bit irritated about it. He tends to be somewhat touchy about things, including ones like this.

Daphne had followed his path curiously, but at seeing that the beeline was towards Jane, made a face which clearly represented her feelings about the girl. Daphne has loathed her since freshmen year, and is unlikely to suddenly grow fond of the girl. There are others at this school she dislikes, but Jane is certainly near the top of the list, perhaps accompanied by Sebastian Jardine, who she sees a bit further away. Daphne turns to Persephone and Jake.

"Suddenly, I miss that horrid Pizza Parlor. Are we heading in?"

Viv shook her head causing her light blonde tresses to fan around her honey hued face. "That boy is a mess "She concluded, placing her perfectly manicured hand on her hip.

She turned to her friend who was gushing about her dress and smiled. She was excited to show her fiends her outfit. She had snagged a white bandage dress straight off the runway that looked crazy sexy against her dark tanned skin and light blonde hair. She also caught Jane's little distraction. Truth was Viv was a bit suspicious about Jane's summer story but she found that when it came to her friends less was more. If Jane wanted her to know she would tell her but for now it was none of her business.

Viv rolled her piercing blue eyes as Sydney began to chastise Jane for giving her party "bad vibes". I mean yeah Jane may not be the smartest or the most responsible but jeez she was allowed to have bad days. But she had to admit Syd had a point. If anything went wrong gossip goddess would know and none of them could take that hit right now. I mean between Maddy and gossip goddess's incessant reminders that she couldn't "keep a man" Viv really didn't need any more drama.

Viv started to space out and go into her own world but quickly pulled herself back into the conversation. At the mention of heels she scoffed, " Just so we're clear you know I'm wearing them right?" She almost laughed. She winked conspiratorially at Sienna. Viv loved shoes with a passion. But her true love was heels. She loved how powerful she felt in them and she loved how sexy they made you feel.

She, however could not hold back a grin when Syd mentioned not going over the top. In her head she couldn't help but think Good Luck

She pulled out her phone and opened a new message.
To:Jake
Hey are you here?

To:Brody
I hope you aren't here because I haven't a hug

Carter was started to space out as the girls gushed about their outfits. I mean he always appreciated a pretty woman but a man had his limits. But one thing was sure, he was glad Seb was gone.

Carter and Seb used to be friends until he became the douche he is now. It annoyed him even more that Viv had felt the need to save him. He didn't like the situation at all. He meant to bring it up to Viv but he could tell it was important so he couldn't bring himself to do it. Plus Viv was so stubborn, he didn't want to put her in a bad mood for no reason either. "You're coming tonight, right babe?" At that Carter snapped back into attention. " Of course I wouldn't miss the kick off party of the year" He said with a dimpled grin.

Carter liked Sydney. She was fun and loyal and protective. But it made him a bit uncomfortable when she did it in front of his ex. He cocked his head to the side as he listened to the girls talk. He had to admit he was lucky. Not many people can say they are friends with the hottest girls at the most exclusive prep schools in New York. "Yeah, you should come tonight. wouldn't be a party without that handsome face." He smiled at her but felt a flush of heat from inside him when her pretty plump lips turned it a grin We'll have you home before the clock strikes midnight, pinky promise."

He laughed off the sudden feeling by saying " Make you a deal darlin' save me a dance and I'll stay till' 12:30" He grinned wickedly at Sienna.

At the mention of going inside Carter glanced at his watch "You ladies just about ready to head in? " He asked easing away from the girls and making his way to the steps.

As the back-to-school mixer came to a close, the relief that Jane was feeling for finally being able to get away from the stress disappeared when she got a text from Nicole. It read that her appointment with her new psychiatrist had been moved from Friday to this afternoon and instantly, panic set in again. She told Sienna, Sydney and Vivienne that she had to go hang out with her older sister so she didn't need any of them to come shopping with her and before they had time to inquire further, she disappeared.

Thankfully, her driver was waiting for her on the side street beside the school and it was apparent that Nicole had passed the change of schedule onto him when he refused to drive her back to their apartment and instead dropped her off in front of a tall brick building in the Upper West Side. Nicole was waiting out front and eagerly waved to Jane, whose expression remained stone cold, as they walked inside.

"Jane, Dr. Elle is wonderful. I know you liked your old doctor but she specializes in recovery plans for girls like you. One of my girlfriends saw her a few years ago and she's good as new now." Nicole made up for Jane's silence as she went on and on about how the new specialist was going to be the saving grace Jane needed to stay on track this year. If she hadn't just come from an already stressful first day back to school and the social world, she wouldn't have resented the idea of seeing a new doctor as much today.

The meeting went just as poorly as Jane expected. The woman pried into her personal life, which probably shouldn't have been much of a surprise, but Jane didn't want to get emotional today. She hated having to speak about her father and estranged "mother", and even more so her stepmother, especially with the woman sitting right next to her. There were multiple occasions throughout the session where Jane felt like shoving the girls' comforting arm off of her. She didn't want Nicole to try to hold her hand or gently rub her back. While Jane knew she was just trying to be understanding and compassionate, there was nothing in the world that would make Nicole understand what she was feeling. Half of the time, Jane didn't even understand her own feelings.

Just to make the meeting finally come to an end, Jane agreed to follow a new diet plan which would require her to eat 1400 calories per day. It was 200 more than she had adjusted to eating in treatment and although she said she would stick to it, she knew that with how unstable she was already feeling after one day back, there was no way she would meet the goal she had met in treatment, nonetheless the new one.

"Your dad and I are so proud of you, Jane," Nicole offered with a final squeeze to her hand when they got back to their townhouse. Jane nodded and tried to smile, but quickly retreated to her bedroom.

Over the past few hours, she had received a few texts from Sydney, making sure that she still planned on coming over. Tonight's party was one thing that Jane was actually looking forward to and she was eager to reunite with her girlfriends in a setting where she could actually let loose. After a quick shower, she blow dried and straightened her hair and changed into sweatpants. She didn't want to waste anymore time at home and decided to get dressed and do her makeup at Sydney's, so she grabbed her dress and bag and left for Sydney's.

She arrived within minutes and was soon perched in front of Sydney's vanity, making the finishing touches to her makeup. She wore a little lilac dress and a pair of nude flats, but she didn't intend on wearing the flats to the party. There was no way that she was going to miss the opportunity to show off her legs in heels, when they were probably the only part of body she was comfortable with. However, she needed to wait until Sydney got drunk, which didn't seem likely tonight, or until Sienna and Viv came to distract her, to switch the basic flats for a pair of heels from Sydney's closet.

Just as she finished her makeup, Sydney reappeared from inside of her closet and requested that Jane help her with the zipper on her dress. She did just so and then sat down on the edge of Sydney's bed. "Yeah, I told her to come! I need her to get here more than you do since someone has a cabinet of liquor downstairs that she won't share," she said. She had reminded Sienna multiple times to bring the champagne she promised and hoped that she would arrive soon enough with the alcohol.

"There's a new post on that blog..." Jane said, quickly scanning over the post that a friend had just sent her a link to. The reference to 'secrets' worried her, but she didn't think anyone could have known anything about her. There was the comment that Seb had made earlier about needing to talk to her, but he was the only one. No one else could know anything about her and she tried to reassure herself that she had no need to get worked up over it. However, she didn't like the idea of the anonymous blogger claiming that she would be watching. Jane was the type to get paranoid and knowing that some gossip obsessed person would be in her presence all night made it even easier for her to worry.

It was seven thirty and Sebastian hadn't even begun to get dressed for Sydney Vale's party. Instead, he was sat in his apartment, half naked and texting a client he had recently, shall we say, grown closer to. Why'd he need to go to some high school party when he was currently talking to a hot, funny and incredibly rich girl. However, she was not Jane. And that bothered Sebastian.

After Jane had disappeared this summer, Sebastian's business had really taken a hit, she was one of his highest paying client. He could ask for as much money from her and she'd gladly give it to him, as well as some other forms of payment, because she didn't just want, but needed the pills so badly. So what if the pills were suddenly a hundred more than they were last week, Jane would just give him the money without question. He needed that again. Not for the money, his father gave him enough of that to stay the hell away from his 'new family' [which Sebastian would have done for free]. He needed Jane again. Whilst Sebastian reckoned Jane never once considered them to be friends, in his own twisted way, Sebastian did. Sure friends that occasionally had sex, but friends nevertheless.

Sure, Jane didn't know much about him but that was still more than most did. He'd never told her about his biological mother. He'd never told anyone about her. But she knew about his father and how he was with Sebastian, which he had told her while completely stoned but he had said it with such sincerity, Jane must have believed it. He needed to go to the party and get her back. As a client Sebastian reminds himself, girls like Jane do not become friends with guys like Sebastian Jardine.

Standing up, Sebastian quickly shoves on a pair of black jeans and a grey shirt. Nothing fancy, but that was his style. Pulling on his boots from earlier, Sebastian then grabs his keys and heads out of the building; walking straight over to where his car is parked.
Putting the keys in the ignition, Sebastian checks his watch, seven forty-five, he'd just about make it there on time for when the doors opened.

But then again, if he were ten minutes late, then he could stop off at the local convenience store and buy a load of alcohol. Nodding, Sebastian decides that some pre-party drinks wouldn't hurt anyone and besides, there's no way in hell he was going to turn up completely sober. It's a rare day when you'd see that. The party will survive without him for a couple minutes - In fact, most people would probably be glad if Sebastian didn't show up at all. Too bad.

John's apartment had access to a private rooftop terrace, which when his parents weren't home, became his personal smoking spot. It was a lot easier than doing it inside and having to mask the distinctive smell with a can of Febreeze, since that alone was usually enough of a tip off that he had been smoking. After confirming with Vincent that he and Colin would be coming over shortly, John made his way to the roof and smoked a bowl before coming back downstairs. He finished the last of the weed that he had purchased a week ago from Seb, but John figured that he would see him tonight at the party, so he didn't bother to text him to see if he could buy some later or tomorrow. It would be easier to just speak to him in person.

After spraying a bit of cologne over himself, John reemerged from his bedroom just in time to hear Colin and Vincent buzzing themselves in. He let them in and a few minutes later, they stepped out of the apartment's private elevator and into his foyer. Vincent greeted him with gratitude but headed straight for the alcohol that John had gotten. He didn't take offense to it though, especially in his high state, and followed them inside.

When Vincent brought up which girls they would be pursuing tonight, he laughed. "I don't have anyone in mind, but I'll let you know if someone catches my eye." John wasn't a bad looking guy, and he hated using the term, but he always seemed to fall into the "friend zone" category with girls. They saw him as a brother and nothing more, usually. His mother had been on his back about asking Sienna out ever since she met her during one of their interviews, but just as she only saw him as a friend, he felt the same way. She was gorgeous, talented and personable, but he knew they would be nothing more than friends and was okay with that. His major romantic interest with Persephone Soung but his hopes of hooking up with her had been crushed almost as soon as he met her, when he realized that she had strong feelings for Brody Wade. Sometimes he felt like he discredited himself and that maybe if he put himself out there more or told Sephy how he felt, that he would have a chance with her, but he didn't want to risk it. If she said no, which he was certain she would, it would ruin the solid friendship they already had, and John had decided long ago that he would rather have her as a friend than as nothing.

It seemed less painless than what Colin was going through. He had been interested in Jane Lynch for years, it seemed, but as Vincent frequently put it, he could never "seal the deal". It seemed like everyone but Jane realized his affection for her, or at least John hoped, for Colin's sake, that she just didn't realize it and hadn't already rejecting the idea of giving Colin a chance. He was a good guy but lacked the wealth that Jane and most of her friends had. Although John would trade his share of money for the funny and enjoyable personality that Colin had, others in their society didn't seem to value personality as much as they did money. "I'll text Sienna and see if Jane's taking anyone tonight," he offered, figuring that it would be better for Colin to find out if he had a shot now, than to find out by stumbling upon her at the party with her tongue down some other guy's throat.

To: Sienna Alvarez
Hey do u think Colin has a shot with Jane tonight?

It was probably more direct than Colin would have liked, but he knew that Sienna was close enough with Jane to be able to give him a good guess. As he set his phone down, he realized that the starting time of the party was quickly approaching. "Our driver should be here by now. You guys ready to go?" he asked, pocketing his cell phone and wallet and heading to the elevator that would bring them to the lobby of the building.

Jane could tell that something was up between Sydney and Sienna. She was used to both of them making catty comments about the other, but it mostly occurred behind the other's backs. Tonight, they were laughing and smiling, so if she was only watching and not listening to them, she probably wouldn't have been alarmed. However, they were in a nonstop banter where each comment seemed sharper than the next. Jane wasn't sure what they were trying to hint at, but the tension alone was alarming enough. It was making her wish that she had taken the bottle of vodka with them. "You two are being weird and I need another drink," she said, unsure of how else to phrase it. They were both being nice to each other, at least it seemed that way in the obvious sense, but because she was so used to their being some type of underlying distaste between the two, she wasn't ready to take their exchanges sincerely.

After Sydney explained what her relationship with Brody was really about, Sienna turned to Jane and asked her if she had hooked up with any cute guys that summer. She shook her head quickly and ran her fingers through her dark hair. "I wish," she replied simply, not wanting to delve into the topic any deeper. It seemed easier to just admit that she hadn't hooked up with anyone, since that was the truth, than to come up with some lie about meeting some guy in California. The idea of her spending an entire summer away and not even getting with one guy was probably just as suspicious but it made for one less lie that she would have to remember. She was in luck, anyway, because Sydney quickly warned them to 'play nice' and a moment later, Brody stepped into the car.

After receiving Sydney's text message, Brody left his apartment and found the limousine waiting outside of his building. The driver stepped out and opened the door for him, revealing Sydney, Sienna and Jane. They all looked great but he did notice that Vivienne was missing. He hadn't seen her that day at school but did get a text from her saying she was there, so he just figured that he had missed her in the chaos of all of the greetings.

Sydney and Sienna were seated on one side of the car so Brody slid into the open seat next to Jane, across from them. Sydney was quick to compliment him on his outfit, a reaction that he would expect no less of considering she had texted him multiple times that afternoon to make sure he was wearing exactly what she had picked out for him. Sydney's comments were expected but what caught him off guard was how Sienna agreed with her on how 'sexy' he looked, or maybe the way that she agreed with her. He chuckled, although his eyes flashed towards Sydney to evaluate her reaction. "You ladies clean up well yourselves," he reciprocated. Sienna changed the subject to what he had done over the summer. It was a question they all had probably been asked ten times that morning and after hearing of the spectacular trips that many of his friends had taken, his summer seemed fairly mundane. "I spent most of it at my dad's vineyards in California. Lots of meeting clients, dinner parties... you know how it goes. My sister did text me relentlessly one night in regards to you, actually. Something about you winning some award and how she wanted me to get you to text her to show her friends that she actually knew you," he said with a small laugh.

Eloise was still in middle school and was probably going to attend a high school for the musically talented next year, which Brody was glad about, but it didn't stop her from obsessing over all of the girls who went to Constance. She had been a fan of Sienna even before she knew that Brody was friendly with her, so when she did find out that Sienna was friends with Sydney, she badgered him to no end about inviting her over. Brody had no real problem with Sienna but they weren't close friends. Still, wanting to be a good big brother, he had brought the idea up to Sydney about seeing if Sienna would stop by one day to meet his sister, but Sydney quickly shot that down. She had claimed that Sienna was probably "the worst influence" that Ella could have and although Brody doubted the truth in her remark, he never brought it up again. It didn't stop his sister from asking about the possibility of her hanging out with Sienna every time she knew he was going to be with the singer, though.

Jane wasn't nearly as interested in making conversation with Brody as Sienna was, so she focused on her phone instead. She had earlier decided against texting Bastion but now, with nothing else to do, she felt like she might as well try to make peace before seeing him in person. She was still feeling a bit guilty for blowing him off all summer and then this morning, especially because he was one of the truly genuine friends she had in her life. Still, she wasn't sure if he was the one who had invited Daphne and if he had asked Sydney if she could come, when he knew better than anyone that she disliked the girl, she wasn't going to make an effort with him.

Are you here :)????

It didn't take long for them to pull up in front of the club. Sydney had rented it out for their party for the night but that didn't mean that it looked any less active than it did any other nights. As she stepped out of the car, she could already hear music playing and see the lights flashing inside of the club. "Let's get drinks! I'm going hard tonight and you better too!" was her first comment to Sienna as they stepped out of the car. She didn't spot Seb Jardine or Daphne Peterson, probably because they were a few minutes early, but she was happy for now. The whole vibe that she was getting from the club, mixed with the refreshingly cool air, made her feel like with a few more drinks, things would be fine.

The club was alive with good music blasting and lots of people mingling, most with drinks in hand, but Jane didn't expect anything less of Sydney. Each party had to be more extravagant than the last and this would definitely set high standards for the rest of the year's events. Although Jane loved parties, she disliked hosting them. There was so much stress involved in planning everything, and she felt like even after all of the details had been settled, the hostess of the party had to stay sober enough keep everything and everyone in line, and if Jane was going to a party, there wasn't a likely chance that she was staying sober.

With that in mind, it was pleasing to Jane when Sienna agreed with her and they headed straight for the bar. Sienna ordered a Sex On The Beach, a drink that Jane loved as well, but she requested two shots of vodka. She wanted the alcohol but not the unnecessary calories from the rest of the ingredients that went into the mixed drinks, and because she was already feeling a buzz from their pregame, she didn't mind the burn from the alcohol. The bartender probably assumed that she was ordering the shots for her and Sienna, but Jane quickly downed them herself and turned back to Sienna with a grin. The couple of glasses of champagne and three shots so far that night would be catching up to her soon enough and although she didn't order another drink yet, she definitely wasn't going to stop drinking five minutes into the party.

"I'm already going hard, you better catch up!" she said with a smile as she watched Sienna pull out her phone to text someone. "Who are you texting?! I'm right here, the most important person of the night, and no one who isn't here matters tonight," she claimed, not really sure of what she was saying herself. She began to pull on Sienna's arm and although she had no idea where she was going, she knew that she wanted to dance or talk to people or maybe meet a cute guy. Anything that would get her mind off of her own problems and Sienna's off of the drama that had ensued during the car ride. Sienna was always her partner in crime when it came to drunk fun, and Jane needed her even more tonight with Sydney hanging all over Brody.

Most of the people they passed were familiar faces. They either went to Constance or Saint Jude's, or one of the other top private schools in the city, and Jane either knew them personally or had seen them before at past parties. No one they passed caught her attention enough for her to offer more than a "hey!" before she continued on her way.

While she had no real destination in mind, she tried to scope out as much of the main level as possible and was happy to find that she hadn't spotted Seb or Daphne in the crowd. She didn't want to see Daphne for obvious reasons, but would prefer her in a second over Seb. If there was anyone who could ruin her night and really her social life all together, it was him. When "All Night Longer" by Sammy Adams came on, Jane squealed. "Oh my God, this is such a throwback!" She finally released her grip on Sienna's arm but didn't want to leave her side. Even if she was quite happy and confident now that alcohol was coursing through her system, she wasn't drunk enough to feel comfortable with the idea of facing anyone she wanted to avoid without Sienna by her side.

After arriving at the club where the party is being held, Sebastian steps out of his car, an empty vodka bottle rolling off of his lap and onto the pavement, smashing. "Shit," He mutters, kicking some fragments of glass away from his car before shutting the door.
Making his way to where an incredibly butch bouncer stood, Sebastian told him his name and walked into the party, heading straight for the bar. Sure he'd had a few pre-party drinks, but Sebastian had a higher than average alcohol tolerance and was barely feeling buzzed.

"I'll have a vodka, straight." he told the bartender; looking around the club as he waited for his order. He could see Sydney standing with Brody a few seats away. He'd probably go and speak to her if Brody wasn't there. That guy was the biggest killjoy Sebastian had ever met and speaking to Brody would just bring him down. Eyeing the small shot the bartender just placed in front of him, Sebastian raises an eyebrow, before saying "In a glass." and watching him pour a full glass of vodka. Sebastian wasn't into fancy cocktails, some people drink socially whereas Sebastian drinks to get drunk and therefore watered down pink sparkly drinks just didn't do it for him.

Picking up his drink from the counter, Sebastian takes a long drink before glancing over to where Sienna and Vincent were talk; behind them Jane was dancing. Sebastian watched her for a moment, then deciding to approach her. Walking over, Sebastian sends Sienna a wink as he passes her before coughing to get Jane's attention. "Where were you over the summer?" He asks the question he had been wanted to ask ever since she stopped returning his calls at the beginning of the holidays.

Sure he had many other things to occupy his time over the summer than Jane, but now he was back in school, Sebastian was genuinely curious as to where the girl disappeared to, and why she wasn't buying from him anymore. "You need more pills?" He then asks her, not pausing to let her answer his first question Sebastian stares at her seriously, his eyebrow slightly cocked, waiting for her to answer him.

The mixture of alcohol and good music had caused Jane to nearly forget all of her earlier worries. She and Sienna were having fun, regardless of whatever drama had went down on the way there, and it seemed like things were going to well tonight. She was so content with the atmosphere that she barely noticed when Vincent approached and handed Sienna a drink, but did nod when Sienna said that she was be gone for a few minutes. Now being drunk, she didn't mind the idea of dancing alone and figured that if Sienna took too long, she could find other people to socialize with. Although she preferred her exclusive group of friends, she would downgrade temporarily if needed.

When the song she was dancing to finally ended, Jane turned around with intentions of getting another drink when she heard someone behind her. It was Seb, but even he couldn't bring her mood down... at least not yet. He didn't greet her with a 'hello' or 'how are you?' but skipped right to the point and asked her where she had been all summer, and then if she needed more pills. She shook her head but smiled, drunk enough to believe that she really could avoid this conversation for the night and hopefully forever. "All I need is another shot," she responded, attempting to step past him to get to the bar. As she looked at his face, she noticed his serious stare though, and it sobered her thoughts for just a moment. She knew Seb well enough to know that he wasn't going to let this go, drunk or not, but she didn't want to blatantly tell him that she was no longer buying from him. That would piss him off, to say the least, but she also couldn't buy from him anymore. Even after a less than perfect therapy session earlier that day, she really did want to do well health wise.

"What are you drinking?" she asked, not noticing the glass in his hand as she slowly slipped through the other party goers and towards the bar. She didn't think that Seb was going to let up even if she didn't invite him to get a drink with her, and being drunk anyway, she almost wanted a companion to hang out with until Sienna returned.

Daphne glances at Jake's message, which tells her that he will be coming to get her in a bit, having gone to pick up Sephy first. She hardly minds, as the weather outside is practically divine at the moment. It feels as though this fall might be an early one, based on the slight nip that a light breeze carries about. The sun is already beginning to set, so that she can no longer see it thanks to the obstruction of one of the city's countless buildings. It is still light enough to see without requiring adjustment of the eyes, which is fortunate because Daphne briefly worries that her dress, black, will blend in with the dark if the sun fades too much. There are street lights, of course, but where she is sitting is sort of in the shadow of them. Her hair is so pale that she hardly needs to worry about becoming invisible due to her dress, however. And there is a marginal amount of light cast by the lamps.

The young woman has a book resting in her lap, and reads it as she leans against the cool metal railings of the short staircase. When younger, the girl often liked to lay on the kitchen floor to feel the slight chill of the tile, frequently falling asleep in that position. She has always preferred cool temperatures, especially when it comes to resting or sleeping. Absorbed in her novel, the young woman does not notice the vibration of Jake's message saying that he has arrived. In fact, it is only after a few moments that she notices a car waiting, the passengers perhaps unable to see her thanks to the angle of view, and stands up. Her book, small enough to fit into a petite over-the-shoulder bag --Daphne always has a bag on her, to hold her books-- is quickly stashed as she walks over and gets into the car. Her expression quirks slightly into a smile at Jake's comment about her chariot, and she responds to Persephone's wave with one of her own. And thus, she enters the vehicle to the party, Alice going down a rabbit hole.

When Jane sends the text to Sebastian, asking whether or not he is at the party yet, the truth is that he has already arrived. He'd simply decided not to look for her upon arrival, instead sighting a different friend and engaging in a conversation which eventually led to the two of them going over to the corner in which joints are being passed around. In a good mood because of the party, he supposes, there are a few people who are willing to share in exchange for company, or simple presence. Even if the supply runs out before the end of the party, Bastion has no doubt that Seb is lurking around somewhere, prepared with some to sell. He'd brought money with him for that very thing, after all.

After a while, Bastion looks over and notices Seb and Jane standing near each other, and watches with vague curiosity briefly. However, his attention is quickly moved on back to the people around him. In fact, he tends to flit his attention about frequently, the span of it shortened of course. Bastion smiles at something the person next to him has said. He is a far more friendly individual, or at least more tolerant of what would normally piss him off, when smoking. This is why he can hang out with people whilst high that otherwise would just annoy the hell out of him.

Daphne, Jake, and Persephone may have entered at this point, but he doesn't really notice. He hasn't actually smoked a lot so far, having only been there for maybe ten minutes after all, and thus is pretty sober.
