(Oh by the way, I realized it would be kinda stupid to have pets and have them be unable to move. Lets say any creature that you are extremely emotionally attached to can move as well)

It just happened. It was not like any normal natural disaster such as a volcano or storm; there were no warning signs what so ever, it all happened so suddenly. However, there was a mere few seconds before the full affect was complete. The dark aqua sky lit up in a thousand colours as the legendary "Ribbons of Time" became visible for the first time known to man just before time itself stopped. Most people outside lifted their heads at the blissful site until the "Mother nature" force froze them. However...not quite everybody was affected...

Rubix Mello

Rubix was waken that evening. He always took a nap around this time, it helped settle his mind and also allowed him to stay up allot later than usual people did. But it seems he was greeted early by a blaze of multicoloured lights shining through his window. Quite beautiful, but terrifying. What was this? A crazy thought jumped to his mind at first. Aliens!? That would explain the flashing lights, but he saw no UFO outside.

His feline cat Jam yowled loudly at the disturbance and leapt from the banister into his arms as Rubix ran downstairs and out the door. Many of his neighbours did so too, but to his surprise they froze a few seconds after glaring up at the swirling ribbons in the sky. Then...the ribbons stopped too, and the breeze no longer blew, and it was so quiet he swore he could hear his own heartbeat.

The only moving things left in sight were himself and Jam...

"What the hell is this?" Rubix whispered, though he did not panic, just pure curiosity and thrill poured into his heart.

"Time ain't gonna cure you, honey, time don't give a s#!%. Time ain't gonna cure you honey, time's just gonna hit on you! You got to...you got to go straight ahead!"

Moira Noridan

Moira sang her heart out, playing her guitar like it was on fire. Her audience happened to be Mello and Marsha, her two kittens, but practice was practice. She knew she'd make it out there one day.
Coming to the climax of the song, Moira went to hit the next note when suddenly the music just stopped. Her voice rang out and echoed off the walls a bit, but as she went to hit the next chord, there was nothing. Not only that, but the strings on the guitar stayed in place.

"What the f@#&? What the hell is wrong with this thing?" She took the guitar off and held it in front of her as it it was diseased. Plucking at another string, it moved, but once again, stayed in place; never returning to it's original position.
Dropping the guitar quickly, Moira looked over to her cats.
"Marsha! Mello! Here kitty-kitty-kitty-kitty!"
As she called, both cats got up and quickly headed over to her, meowing in unison.
Moira looked at them confused, but picked them up, cuddling them to her face and putting them back down as she went to her kitchen. Making her way over to the sink, she tried the faucet, but nothing happened.

She looked around, trying to find something else to test when she noticed the colorful lights shining through her blinds. Rushing to her window, she opened the blinds and was struck in awe by the sight before her; up in the sky, almost painted across, were streams of yellows and blues, greens and purples. It was the most beautiful sight she'd ever seen in her life, but she also had a feeling that these beautiful streams had something to do with everything being...frozen.

Behind her, Mello and Marsha walked up, both meowing. She turned and picked the kitties up, looking at each of them in the face.
"Babes, I think...I think time just stopped."
She shuddered as she heard her own voice say what she was fearing to think. Shaking her head, she walked over to the door, both cats shoved under one arm, and walked outside, down the stairs and to the parking lot to stand underneath this new brilliant sky. Looking around, she saw that others had come out to look as well, but they had been frozen. Unlike her.
Why...am I still 'me'? Normal? Unfrozen?
Moira stood there for a moment before putting the cats down, she knew they wouldn't go anywhere and at this point, it's not like anything could happen to them.
Running back inside, Moira filled a little black backpack with her phone, a charger, her gun, some snacks and a drink, her cigs and her keys. She locked up her apartment and looked at her door for a minute. Giving a slight nod to herself, she turned around and headed back to the parking lot. Mello and Marsha were still there, playing in the middle of the lot.
"Come on, Babes, we're going exploring." She said as she picked the two up. As she began heading down the street, Moira continued to stare up at her new sky, the one that had ended her old life and began the new one she'd soon come to face.

Mr. Torrent was sitting down to his evening coffee and the day’s newspaper much as he did every day after dinner. His routine never wavered being a proper gentleman and set in his ways. He could hear the clinking of dishes coming from the kitchen, his wife and daughter doing their job, a proper place for women to be in his mind. It was getting to the point where he should have a bit more light to be reading, he got up from his seat and pulled open the shades wanting to use what was left of dusk suns light being much to frugal of a man to turn on the lamp behind his chair. That’s when he glanced up at the sky an odd sight played before him all manner of colors danced in the sky. This was not normal, this was not proper....

"Delvinia come and look at this" he called to the kitchen.

Mrs. Torrent was standing at the sink with her hands in warm, soapy water Casio standing next to her meekly drying neither one of them speaking just dutifully going about their task wanting nothing more than to get it done quickly so they could go on with their lives. It was then she heard her husband call for her from the study...

"Casio could you be a dear and finish this sink full up while I attend to your father" she said in a soft tone with a hint of resentment for having been pulled away from the chore she was doing. Her daughter nodded and took her mother's place at the sink.

Casio Torrent

Casio stood at the sink after her mother had went to follow her father's beck and call. She quietly hummed to herself as she washed each dish and set it into the sink beside the one filled with water. When she has filled it to the point where she needed to rinse to give herself more room to finish off the rest in her sink she reached over to turn the faucet expecting clean clear water to spill of the soapy ones she had set to rinse. But nothing happened, not even a clank of air in the pipes... just nothing.

"This is certainly odd, why isn't the water coming out?" she questioned to no one in particular.

She knew better then to think that the water bill hadn't been paid and simply the houses main water valve had been shut off by the water company. No her father was a wealthy, proper and precise man her would never let anything as dreadful as an unpaid bill happen. The only conclusion she could deduce is that the faucet was broken; Casio pulled her hands from the water and dried them on a tea towel as she made her way to the study to inform her parents of problem.

She knew her father would surely give her a tongue lashing for being so foolish and perhaps even blaming her for the broken faucet. But at this point she didn't have a choice it was that or not finish the dishes, and that would make the situation even worse because if there was one thing Anthros Torrent hated was an undone chore. She quietly entered the study not wanting to barge in on her parent’s conversation whatever it may be.

"Mama... Papa... something is wrong with the faucet in the kitchen. I can’t get the water to come out" her quiet, mousy tone of voice echoed through the room eerily.

Expecting her father to spin around on his heal and begin to scold her she looked down at the floor shamefully. But the entourage of curses and hurtful words did not follow in fact not a word was spoken nothing more than an eerie silence and her parents continued looking out the study window to the sky above.

After a moment and still nothing Casio looked up from the spot she was staring at on the floor.

"Mama... Papa...?" she walked slowly over to them and then slowly reached up and nudged her father's shoulder.

He didn't move so she nudged her mother, and got the same response.

"It's like they've been frozen..." she said as she backed away from them in fear, Casio turned and ran upstairs to her bedroom.

Throwing the curtains aside from her own bedroom window looking out, there were ribbons in the sky that reminded her of the northern lights. She could see people down in the street looking up and like her parents still and silent.

"What is going on... it's like time has... stopped. But why am I not like everyone else?" her thoughts turned to Knack her ferret who was sleeping in his cage in the corner of her bedroom.

Casio knelt down in front of the cage "Knack... come here boy" she said.

In a little cloth hammock a tan colored ferret stretched and yawned after he was called, he slipped from his spot and came trouncing through the cage to Casio. She picked him giving a sigh of relief that her best friend had not been affected, and then gently clutched him to her as tears began to well up in her eyes.

"What am I going to do? Everyone has stopped" she cried.

After an hour or so of being emotionally distraught and crying in her bed, Casio decided to venture outside. A her school bag slung over her shoulder and Knack sitting wrapped around her neck she closed the door to her home behind her. Glancing in at her parents she worried what might happen to them while she was gone.

"I have to find someone who can help, perhaps there is someone out there like me and maybe can tell me what this mess is all about" she adjusted the bag and started walking down the street.

It'd been an hour since Moira left her apartment. She wasn't exactly hot, the sun was no longer giving off heat, and she wasn't exactly tired, but she felt she should be. She looked behind her feet to see Mello and Marsha following behind lazily.

"Good Babes, keep on truckin' with Mama. We'll get there soon."

But 'there' was unknown. She was unsure of where to go, what direction to take, where to sleep and what to do when she awoke. Time no longer existed so there was no point in keeping track of it, but it was hard to adapt to when the world you came from revolved around it completely.
Which brought Moira to another subject.

What about everyone else? Was everyone frozen? Was anyone else like her?

"I hope to whatever god is out there that someone else is out here in this world with me or I swear I'll end the three of our lives right here and now."

Moira said the statement out loud, almost in hopes that there'd be a response, but all she got was a small cry from Mello.
Moira stopped, turned around, and crouched down to the kitty's level.
"Baby, I didn't mean it. Mama's just stressed. Let's find Marsha and keep going."

Moira grabbed Mello and began walking back the way the came until she came across a sleeping Marsha. Smiling softly, she picked her up and turned back around, walking the way she had originally been going.

After walking another twenty to thirty minutes, Moira found herself stopping at a four-way stop. Coming to a halt, she looked around slowly.
Straight ahead was a main road that eventually led to the highway. It was scattered with small businesses, law firms and a couple grocery stores. To her left was a small convenient store about a block away and then a few 'pricey' neighborhoods. And to her right was more housing, a shopping plaza five or six miles down.

She pondered on which direction to go in for a minute before looking down at her 'babes' and saying out loud,
"Yepp. Convenient stores do have pretty much everything, even if it's low quality. We'll get enough food to last 'till tomorrow and then....I guess find some where to sleep."

She didn't like how that sounded. These were people's homes. What if they unfroze as she was sleeping comfortably in their beds?
She didn't want to think about it more than she needed to, she'd deal with that situation if it ever arose. For now, she had a mission and she was sticking with it.

Woof!
Woof!
The racketing barks that echoed through the room, filling it with noise, caused Ariana to spring up out of her seat. A notebook paper stuck to her forehead and cheek, wet with drool; had she fallen asleep while studying again? Well, it wasn’t really her forte; after just barely graduating high school, she was studying her ass off to get into college. Her head turned towards the barking, ripping the paper off of her face. “Ralph!” She called over towards a dog that seemed to have just as much drool as she did herself.

The sleek dog turned his head over towards her before putting his front paws onto the ground from the windowsill. He whined for her to come over before spinning, twirling in anxiety and then lying down, whining high pitched whines. Ariana rolled her eyes, suggesting that it was only a squirrel that had provoked poor Ralph; she scooted herself out of the small desk, wiping her face off and cleaning her eyes before she placed her hand onto the windowsill and looked up at the sky.

Ariana’s dark eyes widen, before she was accompanied by Ralph, whom had replaced his paws back onto the sill, almost happy that she was seeing the same thing he was. “Damn…” She cursed underneath her breath as she watched the beautiful yet ominous lights light up the sky like the fourth of July in the country. Within the few minutes she had just awoken, Ariana was already heading out of her room door, fiddling on a sweat-jacket over her black tank top and army colored capris.

“Dad!” She called out, her hands on the railing. “Hey, Dad,” there was no answer to her calls as she made her way down the steps, Ralph following after her, licking up the drool that seemed endless. As she made her way down the steps, Ariana saw her father’s figure, along with some blonde broad he must’ve brought home for dinner; the odd thing about them though, was that they were completely still- almost as if they were wax figurines.

Ralph trotted ahead of Ariana’s shocked stance as she stared at them; his whines now becoming more apparent as he neared the couple and engulfed her father’s hand in his mouth. “Dad?” She questioned, slowly walking over towards him. Her hand raised sluggish towards his face, swishing it back and forth. It wasn’t long before she let out a slight laugh and rolled her eyes.

“Very funny, dad; I got your joke, you can stop now.” Ariana crossed her arms and leaned on her hips. Her eyes wondered up and his lifeless body before she took a slight step back. “Fine, if that’s how you want to play, then so be it.” Her voice was now more irritated than before, as she walked over towards the island that stood in their kitchen. It only took her a few minutes to find what she was looking for- a fat sharpie marker- and then she made her way back over to the still bodies.

Ariana popped the cap off and leaned close to her father, grabbing his cheeks; Ralph released the hand, allowing his long sting of drool drip onto the floor as he walked off, his nose to the ground. While he did this, Ariana drew on her father’s face, creating glasses, a uni-brow and a mustache; she moved over and made the blonde broad look as horrifying as possible before she rose back up, a satisfied look on her face. Perhaps she was having too much fun with the drawing, but it wasn’t until she popped the marker’s cap back on when she saw the fish tank- how the fish was also so still.

She dropped the marker and slowly made her way, once again, towards the tank. Ariana’s hands went to her knees as she crouched down to get eye-level with the fish. “What the…” She said, astonished as she tapped on the tank. “I must be dreaming…” She whispered, as she knocked harder on the motionless tank. To make sure she wasn’t dreaming or going crazy, she bit her lip hard enough to taste blood and even slapped her cheeks several times. Yet, each time she’d open her eyes, it’d be the same, still and lifeless scene.

It wasn’t long before the barking of Ralph broke her from her attempts as she leaned back up, walking towards the dog, which was now scratching and whining at the front door. Afraid of what might be outside, she hesitated at first to open the door, but eventually did, causing Ralph to charge out of the house and jump and leap into the air, doing nothing but barking at the colorful sky. She stared for what seemed the longest time before she shuffled on her shoes and chased after Ralph, beckoning him to stop barking.

(I just realized, I spelt Rubiks as Rubix. I cant change my character name either. Sh*t -.-)

Rubix Mello

At first, Rubix wanted to do nothing more than to panic, but that was not his style. Worry and stress were abnormal emotions to him and he avoided becoming unstable at all costs. Surely time itself freezing was a pretty damn good excuse for flipping out? No, to him it wasn’t; he decided to see the situation from another point of view.

Though this was crazy, it was incredibly interesting. There must be a reason for such a thing happening, and that was something he was planning to find out and maybe he could even solve this amazing and very complex puzzle. Maybe this was his time to shine. He was here to experience this phenomena first hand and was able to move unlike anyone else in sight, maybe he was chosen? Right now it seemed like a possibility...

Rubix's parents were very important scientists, who’s work were completely confidential and time consuming. They were almost always away on business, but being honest he did not mind the peaceful solitude, though he did miss them a hell of allot. They left him a small ginger cat to keep him company, they named him Jam due to the fact that the first day it was brought home the feline pushed over a jar full of strawberry jam causing glass to scatter all over the room just for a few licks of the sticky sweet substance. It was a odd cat, who enjoyed unhealthy sweet things and held no cat like personality what so ever. It didn’t even seem like a creature, it just clung to you like a magnet and that’s why Rubix never acknowledged its gender. Jam was moving too, well right now the flluffyball was falling to sleep latched like a leach upon his shoulder.

Nothing so far had really made sense what so ever. Why could his dopey feline also move like him? And what were the lights in the sky? They remained there now, also frozen but still glowing a thousand colours of pure blissful beauty. What had exactly caused everything to stop?

Was everyone....dead?

The idea made cold shivers run down Rubix's spine, as he glared around at the lifeless statue like humans smothering his street. He slowly slunk his way up to his neighbour, placing a few fingertips on the old man's neck but feeling no pulse but his lively warmth still remained. Well if everything had stopped, their heart beat would too right? It did make sense, but the question was would they ever awake? Only time...or rather the lack of time...would tell...

The silver haired youth headed towards the town center, the soles of his shoes hitting the ground hard as he ran. Maybe there were others who were immune from the disaster like him? If so surely it was most likely that they were lingering in a busy place having the same idea as him?

"Hubbagah!" Henry yelled as he woke up from his dream. His face felt funny and he looked down at the keyboard. He had played late into the night again. he looked up to see what had happened to his character to find that it had been killed. "Aw man!" he ruffled his hair in frustration. He tapped the exit button, but nothing happened. "Aw CRAP!!!" he yelled. "Uncle Vernon! Why didn't you wake me up?" he hollered.

There was no sound. It wasn't that surprising sometimes his uncle would go out and help people in the neighborhood.

"The game is afoot!" squawked Sherlock one of Henry's african grey parrots.
"That thong th thong thong thong," replied the second.

Henry groaned. he was going to have to really hit his friend Sean when they next met. Teaching his bird such a stupid phrase. He let them out of their cage and gave each a nut to chew on. As they ate Henry got dressed. He watched them finish and then picked them up and placed them on their favorite shoulders. He carefully made his way down the stairs as his stomach started to rumble.

"Man, I could reall-" he stopped in shock as he found his uncle sitting at the table in mid drink. "Hey u-" he started this time as he spotted the fact that his uncle had not only not looked at him but hadn't blinked the whole time. He stepped up to quickly and the birds fluttered as they tried to keep themselves on his shoulders. He slowed down for them but the slowness of his movements just seemed to make things worse as time rolled on.

'Time,' he thought to himself. He looked at the clock on the wall. It wasn't moving. Henry moved to the window as he saw figures outside. He was about to call out when his voice wouldn't come out.

"Call me Ishmeal," said Sherlock.
"Shiver me timbers," answered Watson.

"You can say that again." he said without thinking. As he stared at the motionless scene before him.

"Call me Ishmeal," said Sherlock.
"Shiver me timbers," answered Watson.

He put his hand on the door handle but he couldn't stop the shaking. His eyes were tightly closed but he just couldn't stop it.
"I'm too scared," he said to himself.

"A lot of people are scared of heights." said Sherlock.
"Not me, I'm afraid of widths." replied Watson. Henry chuckled softly as his body started to relax.

"Good point guys. We won't get any braver from staying inside." And with that said he put on his shoes and stepped outside. He tried to look far off for any movement but saw nothing." He figured he'd walked to the center of Leonia.

Ariana walked along the still, and crowded yet empty streets. She still couldn’t believe that the world suddenly stopped- or at least that’s the conclusion she pulled. Ralph followed behind her, now horsed and tired from all the barking; he was panting, too lazy to slurp up whatever was dripping from his mouth. “I wonder if this happens all the time, yet we don’t realize it.” She said, mainly to herself and Ralph.

“Perhaps it’s just different people who get affected each time. Kind of like Gods playing a game?” Ariana was now just throwing out random thoughts- maybe the idea of whatever Gods are out there playing games wasn’t such a ridiculous idea than she thought? Or maybe she was just playing around; even Ariana herself didn’t know what to think at this point- throwing out random ideas was the only thing that kept her calm.

Ralph stopped to sniff the ground, before letting out a low whimper and ran ahead; he released a semi-bark whine that he’d often let out when he sees something. The first thing Ariana thought of was, did Ralph find something? Before she could reason out with her inner-self, Ariana found herself nearly sprinting after Ralph.

“Ralph!” She yelled, as she exited the small town that she lived in; now entering the highway that usually took them to the city- which, at the moment, was five miles away. She stopped as soon as her eyes met a red car, realizing how alone she really was at the moment. Everything was still- almost as if it was all frozen in their tracks.

Ariana placed her hand on a black van and peered into the window; the image of a family with their children all smiling and laughing nearly sent chills down her spine. She walked forward, trying to ignore the frozen bodies that lied in the cars and try to pay attention to Ralph’s endless barking than to allow her head to fill with thoughts she’d rather not think. “Ralph!” She called, her voice echoing through the ominous streets.

She weaved through the cars, finding Ralph looking back to her, about sixty feet in front of her. For now, heading towards the city might be a bit smart… right? She thought, watching Ralph wait for her. “Yeah…” She whispered to herself as she started to walk. Along their way to the city, Ariana started to scream, hoping that there might be others like her whom could hear her.

“Hello!” She wailed, as she started her hour and half long journey towards the city; Ralph already ahead of her, helping her with trying to locate those who aren’t frozen by barking.

Henry didn't realize it was so far to the center. He never really payed attention in the car seeing as how he was always singing with his uncle to whatever was on the radio. He realized he didn't really know where the center was. He decided to keep an eye out for a convenience store. They usually sold cheap maps for tourists.

Moira made her way up to the lively looking convenience store, Mello and Marsha sluggishly following behind her. She came to a stop in front of the door, looking in at the man behind the counter who was getting ready to hand the older, husky woman in front of it change and a pack of cigarettes. She shook her head as goose bumps crawled down from her neck to her back.

All of this...is so...wrong.
Shaking away her shudder again, she pushed open the door and walked in slowly.
Looking around, she found the isle with cat food and grabbed enough for what she thought would be a week or so. She turned left and headed towards the coolers and went to grab a soda when she realized that there weren't any police or adults to tell her she was too young to buy a beer. She grabbed a six pack of a common beer brand and chuckled to herself.

"I'm a winner today, aren't I?"

She sighed as she went down the isle to her right and grabbed some chips and crackers, a couple packs of gum, and some jerky. Making her way over to the counter, she looked at it curiously as she contemplated walking behind it.

"Definitely would suck if time started back up as I helped myself to some cigs from behind here."

But she didn't give it a second thought. Marching behind the counter past the cashier, she grabbed a carton of her favorite menthol cigarettes and a handful of lighters, managing to shove them all into her bag. She heaved a little as she re-positioned the bag against her back and whistled for the two cats. They came sprinting from the back end of the store, Marsha with a small rat in her mouth.

"Aww, Marsh, is that a present for Mama?" Moira asked in her cutest voice she could muster. She grabbed the rat out of the cat's mouth, examined it as she held it arms length away and then put it in the nearest trash can.

"That takes care of that. Come on, Babes, lets go check out the rest of the town before we head out."

Moira opened the door and headed out, turning left as she headed back the way she came.

After another forty-five minutes or so, Moira found herself past the four-way stop heading towards the center of town.

Might as well loot a few clothing shops and find a place to sleep soon.
She thought as she walked down the middle of the road, passing cars full of people, people on their bicycles, groups of kids walking down the side walk.
It was all so...fake. Moira considered the fact that she was dreaming, but knew better than to do that. Whatever she perceived was her reality, no matter what. She learned that in a psychology class in high school, one of her more favorite classes.

Making her way into the center of town, Moira lit up a cigarette and smiled. As strange as all this was, it was kind of nice not having to deal with another person telling her what to do or what not to do, judging her for how she looked or acted, and most certainly not having to abide by any rules.

I could definitely get used to this.

She laughed out loud and grinned at the sound of it. Liking the sound of her voice all alone in this new world, she gave a great howl, followed by a chain of uncontrollable laughter.

Why not enjoy yourself when you're the last person on earth?

Henry had stopped at a couple convinience stores to get something to eat. He wanted to get some McDonalds but when he walked in the food was either half eaten or was in the middle of being cooked. He followed the map to the convient store he was currently in. He opened a bag of nuts and placed several on the counter. The sound had woken Sherlock and Watson out of their slumber as they flapped down to the table.

"Har dee Har! We hit the mother load!" exclaimed Watson.
"Thank you, thank you very much," said Sherlock with a decent Elvis impression.

With their gratitude out of the way they started to eat. Henry checked the store and grabbed hiimself an purple energy drink. and then proceeded to grab some chips, a donut and several more bags of dried fruit and nuts. He brought them over to where the birds were and started eating. He was halfway through his donut and energy drink when a sound of a person's voice rang through the air.

Henry's eyes looked towards the doorway and then he ran over still holding the donut and energy drink. The laughter's echoes were bouncing all over the silent world. He wasn't sure but he thought it had originated from near the center of town. He was right after all. It was a good idea to head there. Knowing there was still a ways of a walk to go he did the only thing he could think of.

"I'm Going to the Center of Town! I'll Meet You There!" he hollered through the still city block. He wasn't sure if the words would be understandable, but at least the person would know that someone else was around. He went back into the store to see that Sherlock and Watson were finished eating. He went over and grabbed a water bottle and a bag of paper birthday bowls. He opened the bag and poured the water in it. He quickly finished his food while the birds drank. He found a black fanny pack and clipped it on his waist he put a few more bags of dried fruts and nuts. and zipped it up. The birds were done after another couple minutes. The birds flew back on his shoulders and it was back out the door making his way to the center.

Casio walked down the street it was so odd walking past people and cars frozen at a certain moments in time. To lovers on a bench caught in mid kiss, a fender bender with the two drivers arguing in each other faces, it was all like looking at one large living, three dimensional, portrait of the world that Casio could maneuver through. Everything seemed so surreal, like she was in a bad dream that she could not wake from.

Casio decided to cut through an alley that connected her neighborhood to another.

"Surely I'm not the only one like this" the sudden sound of Casio's voice made Knack stir from his nap and he skittered down her side to the ground below. She turned and looked down at him "Stay close to me Knack, I don't think we have to worry too much about you getting run over or anything but I don't want you to get too far ahead" the nervousness in her tone made her sound like a lost child.

The alley was full of recycle bins filed with garbage giving the alley the smell of rotten food and God knows what else people put into the trash. Not exactly the most pleasant of place, all sorts of smells accosting her senses made Casio cover her nose and mouth in an attempt to keep herself from vomiting.

"Maybe this was a bad idea obviously its garbage day in this neighborhood, lucky me" it was then Casio stepped out of the alley and ran right into someone. The pair was almost knocked to the ground...

"I'm so sorry I didn't mean to run into you, it's just I'm so nervous because of all the crazy things going on' apologies spewed from her Casio like an over flowing cup. After she adjusted her glasses on her face again she realized that this person she had run into must have been moving as well, because he didn't fall over when she walked into him.

As information processed through her mind, the guys silver hair, thin and pale, Casio was sure she had seen him before somewhere.

"I'm not just seeing things am I you're moving too right?" she said as Knack climbed up onto her shoulder again. It was then it dawned on her and she remembered where she had seen him before. “I think we go to school together" she thought out loud hoping he would respond.

Moira skipped and danced around in the middle of the street, gracefully dodging frozen vehicles and people, waving her cigarette in the air as if it was some magic wand. She smiled to the sky and began slowing down, coming to a stop in front of a blue sedan with a mother yelling back at two young boys fighting over an action figure. Stopping to observe the scene, Moira began to think on how this situation came to be when in the distance, she thought she heard a voice.

But...how could that be possible..?

She turned around in a circle, trying to find the direction of the voice. The words had been barely audible, and trying to decipher them was hard. Moira looked down to Mello and Marsha,
"What do you guys think that voice said? Was it..."I'm going to censor the town. I'll beat you there?" No. That doesn't sound right. Hmm...Maybe...maybe someone is coming to meet me here?"

Moira looked at the cats questioningly, but all she got as a response was Mello giving a little cry and Marsha smacking him and walking off.
Moira laughed and picked Mello up.

"Don't worry, she isn't always a b!&*#. I promise."
She cuddle and cooed the cat, giving a whistle back for Marsha, and began heading towards where she thought she heard the voice.

Taking a few steps ahead, she realized she wasn't entirely sure where it came from and stopped.
Maybe...I should call back out to them.

Moira set Mello down and thought for a second before letting her voice carry through the streets harmonically,

"You can holler, you can wail, you can swing, you can flail, you can f@%# like a broken sail. But I'll never give you up, if I ever give you up my heart will surely fail."

Henry looked up and listened as a song started to ring through the quiet streets. He was first dumbfounded by the lyrics and then chuckled. He had just stepped out of the store and started his trek when the tune began. The song disappeared back into silence and Henry was wondering what kind of person would sing a song like that in a situation like this. A smile crossed his face and he checked the map and turned left at the next street.

"You can holler, you can wail, you can swing, you can flail, you can f@%# like a broken sail" sang Sherlock
"But I'll never give you up, if I ever give you up my heart will surely fail." accompanied Watson.
".....," Henry just listened as the birds kept repeating it. Ten versus and two peanuts later the birds where quiet again. Henry was not really in a hurry even though he was excited about someone else being, ... unfrozen. Henry walked up to a few bodies and gave them a poke or blue on them to see if there was any kind of change. No matter the pressure it seemed that he couldn't put a dent in their skin. As he started to breath heavily from trying to learn something about everyone's situation he realized that he had been pushing and pulling somebody the whole time.

"I am so so sorry," It was more a reflex than anything else, but again he realized regardless they were unaffected. Catching his breath and taking a drink he started walking again. He had been three blocks away when he realized he didn't have the map anymore. He sighed in frustration as he chose to go right. He thought he remembered a right turn somewhere along the path.

"99 bottles of beer on the wall. 99 bottles of beer." Sherlock sang.
"You take one down and pass it around. 99 bottles of beer on the wall." joined Watson

"And the hits keep coming." sighed Henry.

Rubix Mello

Walking seemed to take three times as long in a still world. Though things were so very different, and it was very interesting, Rubix would not like the planet to remain like this forever. The silence kind of creeped him out and the lack of drama was dull. He wondered if this really would last forever, or if it could restart at any time soon. It was something he was planning to look into as soon as he had the chance, but first he needed to see if he really was alone...

The town centre was in view now, the crowded streets filled with hundreds of people but yet felt so deserted and dead. Rubix dodged everybody, careful not to touch them as though they were dead rotting corpses locked in place like sleeping horses. Meanwhile Jam the genderless cat clung to his jacket with ease, claws not far from sinking into Rubix's flesh. The silver haired youth found himself wandering into a store and exiting with a jar of jam and a energy drink. Feeling guilty he left a small amount of money on the counter. Even if time had stopped, things were still the same just paused...

He sipped at his can as he sat on a bench, glaring up at the frozen but multicoloured sky above. What the hell were them ribbon like things? He was sure he could remember picking up a few of his father documents as a child and seeing a diagram of strands of colours circling the planets. Rubix recalled his Father yelling and snatching them off him as soon as he saw. Could this be a link?

Rubix got up, and decided to head towards high ground where he could hopefully see all the movement in the area. It seemed like a plan until it seemed he did not have to go looking for movement. It found him. SMACK. "Yawweeeohh!" Screeched his cat Jam as it pounced from his shoulder onto the ground, hissing furiously at his "Attacker". Rubix looked up meeting eyes with a cute brunette girl with small rounded glasses. She looked well presented and intelligent; her voice was also soft like feathers....

Then suddenly his pale cheeks began to blush like a freaking anime and he stammered trying to get his worlds out.

"O..oh H..hell..llo...Hello...Um yeah...I guess not everyone’s frozen then.." He stuttered more to himself than her. He tried his best to cool his cheeks but it took quite a while before he changed back to his normal skin tone. "Yeah...I think I have seen you around school...You’re from the Torrent family right?"

Then suddenly...

Ear splitting laughter. Some one else was moving near by

"HELLO! WHERE ARE YOU! DO YOU KNOW WHATS HAPPENED!?" The boy called out. A unappreciated yowl from his fur ball of a cat sounded at his ankles. "Hello!...." He called once again, before falling silent, waiting hopefully for a responce. Rubix then listened more carefully. Barking. Someone had a dog and it was barking. It seemed like so far only Humans and animals that were connected could move...Someone else?

Moira's steps became more hurried as she grew more excited. There was another moving person near by. And they responded to her. She giggled at the thought as she turned left at one of the intersecting roads. Mello and Marsha sped up to follow their 'Mama', both mewing behind her, wanting for her to slow down and pay attention to them. But she was distracted; immersed in a delusional dream where she'd meet someone else like herself and they converse and figure out the mystery of time being stopped and the colorful ribbons in the sky.

Realizing that her imagination was getting ahead of her, Moira slowed her pace down a bit and listened again to see if she could hear anything.

"99 bottles of beer on the wall. 99 bottles of beer. You take one down and pass it around. 99 bottles of beer on the wall."

She stopped for a second, cocking her head to the left in curiosity.
That sounds like...birds. Parrots. Singing? Huh...

Moira stopped to pick up Mello and Marsha and than began sprinting down the road. Following the sound of the two voices, Moira picked up speed and soon found herself viewing a young boy about her age with two african greys, one on each shoulder. Stopping mid-stride, Moira set her two babies down and cupped her hands to her mouth.

"Hey you! Were you the one shouting back to me?! My name's Moira!"

She felt like she couldn't yell loud enough for him to hear her, she was so overwhelmingly excited to see another moving person.

This really isn't a dream.."

She picked the two cats back up again and began to jog towards the boy. A she did so, in the background she could hear another voice.

"HELLO! WHERE ARE YOU! DO YOU KNOW WHATS HAPPENED!? Hello!...."

Her head turned towards the sound and her excitement grew even more.
There was another person out there, moving around and talking. Looking for her.

After I meet up with this boy, we'll go find this other person next. She thought to herself as she continued towards the boy with the singing parrots.

Henry was getting a little annoyed with himself as seeing as how he was completely lost. He wasn't sure but the thought he had made five too many rights and too few lefts.

"99 bottles of beer on the wall. 99 bottles of beer." Sherlock sang.
"You take one down and pass it around. 99 bottles of beer on the wall." joined Watson

And of course the singing was not helping. Suddenly a voice came booming towards him from up ahead. The sudden burst of sound silenced the birds. Henry's first thoughts were

'Thank gawd,' He looked further trying to see someone within the crowd of unmoving people. Then a more distant yell reached his ears. The second thought was he missed her name. He turned to the birds.

"What did she say?" he asked.
"Hey you! Were you the one shouting back to me?! My name's Moira!" responded Sherlock.

Henry put the birds on somebody's shoulder and cupped his hands.

"It's nice to meet you, Moira!" he hollered. He had annoying habit of being polite regardless of the situation. "I'm Henry and I was the one that yelled earlier! Did you hear another person just now?!" He clicked his tongue and Sherlock and Watson flew over to his shoulders as started to run. "Follow," he said to the birds and they took to the air and flew over his head.

He wasn't sure what was going on, but he didn't care since there were really other people here like him.

(would have added more characters but I'm not sure if they were with Rubix or not)

Suddenly, Ralph stopped barking and all seemed silent as Ariana looked at him. “What is it, boy?” She said; her dark eyes watched him as he sniffed in the air and went around in circles. At first, she thought it was Ralph being his idiotic self before he stopped and let out a low rumbling growl and headed straight; this growl she knew specifically for Ralph. It was a growl that you shouldn’t forget the meaning of- cats.

Ariana’s thoughts rushed to her head, though, only one seemed to surface to the top; what if there was a cat that was also frozen? Would Ralph really attack a cat that wasn’t moving? Of course he would. Within a few seconds of silent thought, Ariana charged after Ralph in full speed. “Ralph! Come back here!” She yelled, her mouth suddenly becoming parched.

Despite Ariana’s calls, Ralph did not cease his rambunctious running and growling; or, until Airana caught him. Her hands barely grabbed onto his tail, causing Ralph to let out a loud, high pitched yelp. She could feel her anger rise up in her as she pulled the dog near her and grabbed onto his collar; Ralph knowing that he was going to get disciplined harshly.

“You damned dog!” Ariana growled, already knowing what she was about to yell next. “You’re lucky I ca-“
The sound of yelling in the distance caught her ears, yet her grip on the now whining and jerking Ralph would not loosen. “People…?” She whispered, now standing up and nearly dragging Ralph up along with her. Excitement filled Ariana’s lungs before she nearly jumped in joy; just now remembering she has a dog in her hands.

“Listen up pooch,” She began; looking down at him with beady eyes. “No more running off, got it?” Ralph looked at her in an apologetic way and when she released him, he ran behind her, as if he was saying, ‘You go first from now on.’, and so, she did.

“Hello!?” She screamed back, walking quicker than before as she neared more and more figures standing, yet not moving. Ariana looked around, at all the faces as she heard more voices a head of her. As she neared the voices, she could pick out a few moving bodies; two; three; or was it four?

“Hello!” She repeated, now able to see a white haired boy, an angelic looking girl and two others whom she couldn’t yet see, but hopefully thought was there and not more frozen people; and then, cats. Ariana turned towards Ralph, who was eying the cat who had curled up at the bottom of the boy’s ankles. “Ralph…” Ariana’s voice was harsh, but reassuring as Ralph looked at her once more.

“Heal.” Ariana looked back up and raised her hand, with a slight smile and a sigh of relief; she spoke once more, “Hi! Thank God I’m not the only one.”

(I believe everyone is either with, or near Rubix and Casio. ^^ or at least I hope. ^^; )

(Buuuhhh I'm going to have to post. Tiny post then I'll wait for LostSoul to post.)

Rubix Mello
There was no reply to his screams, but he was certain the person who the laugh belonged to must have heard him. Maybe they just didn’t want to socialize. Which in Rubix’s opioion was kind of strange?

"Hello!?"

A beautifully unique looking red haired girl came into view with a large drooling dog following at her ankles. The white haired youth kind of wanted to laugh at the sight of the pair, but the fact that the animal and its master had such a bond made it more applaud worthy than laughable. "Hello there," He said, trying to keep his voice calm, even though that was his natural tone anyway. At least she didn’t pounce into him like the glasses girl did. "Yeah, I sure do know the feeling..."

The girl warned her dog away from Jam. Like it matter anyway, the feline had other plans. It wandered up to the large sob-a-dob and began nudging at its paws with his snout and whiskers. “Jam! I’m sure he doesn’t want to play...why can’t you just act like your bloody suppose to!”

(Im sooo sorry guys that I haven't posted it got crazy and I ended up at a funeral this week, Im gonna try to catch up thank you guys for being so patient and not totally blowing up the rolplay with posts)

Casio smiled, "Yes my names Casio" it was then her eyes went wide at the sound of a creepy laugh. It was a little unsettling for her but then she heard voices yelling that they were coming. An excited and relieved expression crossed her face at the fact there were other's like she and Rubix, Casio was beginning to think that perhaps she and he were the only ones the sound of foot steps padding up to the pair said other wise.

A red haired girl came around the corner with a rather large dog at her side, this made Casio swallow her father had never allowed her around dogs saying there were too "dangerous" an animal to keep. Knack sat up on his back legs slightly with a curious tilt of his head at the large drooling thing that had just rounded the corner.

"It's good to see other people" Casio breathed a sigh as the girl healed the dog next to her. She couldn't help but internally chuckle at Rubix's feline companion's show of no fear as the cat actually tried to play with the dog. "Your cat seems to like dogs, Rubix" she said with a smile.

Henry stopped as Moira stood before him. She was interesting looking. She had a exotic aura that was new to him, but then again Henry was not really a people person. He had helped at the animal clinic a lot of the time, so didn't see many young women his own age. She looked about the same age as him, but he had heard that girls mature faster than boys. He smiled as he saw the cats.

"Either you are Moira, or there are a lot of people running around the streets at the moment." After saying that he stepped closer. "What are their names?" he said. He heard flapping as Sherlock and Watson landed on his shoulders. They knew the risk of cats but they weren't scared of them either, having been surrounded by numerous cats and other animals that wish to bop them with their paws.

"Is it bad luck if a black cat follows you?" asked Sherlock.
"That depends on whether you're a man or a mouse." replied Watson.

"If a cat is a flabby tabby, then what is a very small cat?" asked Watson
"An itty bitty kitty." answered Sherlock.

Henry offered the back of his hands to be smelt so that the cats wouldn't get nervous.
"These two are Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson," he shifted his shoulders accordingly to show which was which. He stood up as he suddenly remembered about the other voice. "Oh geez, what about that other voice? It sounded like it came from where you were. Let's get back there and find the person."

((Dude, foreal, my job wants to like...consume my soul. It's great for money, not so much for sleep or socializing or writing...blehh. I sowwies. v.v))

Moira's breath got caught in her throat for a split second as she finally came up to the young man she'd been hollering back and forth with. He looked at her questionably for a second before looking down and smiling at her babies.

"Either you are Moira, or there are a lot of people running around the streets at the moment."
"What are their names?"

Moira grinned as she squatted down, pushing her babes closer to Henry.

"Their names are Mello and Marsha. Marsha's the unlucky, b!tchy black one while Mello is the mischievous but sweet white one."
She gave her two babes kisses before letting Henry pet them.
Swiping a piece of hair behind her left ear, she looked up to Henry and smiled.
"And to answer your other question, yes, I'm Moira. Moira Noridan. Definitely gotta say you don't look how I pictured you to look. You're very....ordinary. But...at the same time, you have a completely different feel to you. Your features, your eyes mostly-very charming and mysterious."

Moira wiped her hands on her pants and stood, giving a quick look around behind her.
Turning her attention back to Henry, she nodded as he stated the bird's names.
"Sherlock and Watson, eh....Cute." She grinned, but he grin was cut short.
"Oh geez, what about that other voice? It sounded like it came from where you were. Let's get back there and find the person."

"Oh sh!t! You're right!" Moira quickly grabbed up Mello and Marsha and looked back to Henry, holding out her hand.
"Think you can keep up with a few cool cats like us?" She grinned at him, ready to run again towards the other voice they had heard.

Ralph watched the cat come near him, and instantly, his spinal fur flared up as his tail bushed up; looking similar to a cat himself. Ariana watched with dull eyes, knowing that Ralph won’t do harm unless she gave him permission- or so she’d hope at least. Despite his little growls that escaped his mouth, all of Ralph’s dignity as a dog was lost as the cat touched him; he let out a high pitched whine before backing up, falling on his butt as he tried to get away.

Ariana raised her eyebrows at him, wondering why he was acting like a baby; usually, Ralph would just turn and try to stay away with as much elegant and poise a half wit, slobbery dog can- instead, the dog was flopping all over the place as it trailed off towards the opposite side of Ariana; as if she’d protect him.

“Uh, anyways; I’m glad you guys are here. I’m Ariana!” She introduced herself, as she watched the two. Ralph looked around, now regaining whatever poise he’d lost, and looked quite serious as he sniffed around the area, nearly leaving the group, but not getting out of sight.

Henry knew he was fairly ordinary, he decided to think of as a mysterious charm. Sadly though he didn't get any chances to try it out. That was why Henry was lucky he was looking down at the cats hen complimented him because he was sure he had shocked expression and possibly had big stupid grin on his face.

"Only one way to find out, miss cool cat." And with a grin he seized Moira's hand pulled her forward. "Let's go find some people." He ran and his birds flew above them as they made their way back from where Moira had come from.

Moira's grin grew into a large smile as Henry took her hand and began running towards the other voices. His birds flying over head and Mello and Marsha tightly gripping onto her, Moira felt very at ease; like she was where she was supposed to be.

Like anyone could be at ease with this situation...but this...is nice.

She gripped on tightly to Henry's hand as they raced down the street.

"You know Henry, I might just have to designate you as my official 'Apocalypse' buddy. You definitely seem to be handling this all pretty well!"
She said loud enough so he could hear and understand as they continued running.
