(OOC: Many post's much? Lol. JK. :D Sorry I'll try to be as active as I can. With work building up it might be a bit more difficult to get on as much as I'd love to. But ya gotta pay the bills somehow. ;D )
Sierra watched the small midnight dragon with a tilt of her head, not sure what to make of the creature. I thought you were extinct. The Forsworn have made it their goal to keep it that way.. Sierra murmured calmly in her head, not even knowing the dragon was also in her mind. We are not extinct, that I can assure you..I don't know much about my kind, in fact I don't recall ever feeling their presence.. The young male dragon replied. His voice was low and almost mature sounding. Sierra rubbed the back of her neck, unsure of what to think about the whole situation. Do you have any questions, little one? Ryuu almost sounded amused as he sprang into her lap and settled near her inner thigh, humming to himself at the warmth she held there. Sierra let her hands fall near her knee's, watching Ryuu breath in and out. Sierra thought for a moment, she had a million questions, but most of them Ryuu wouldn't be able to answer. She thought of the most simplest obvious questions but to her it was just curiosity. Curiosity killed the cat. Sierra reminded herself with a smart comment. Small puffs of smoke trailed from Ryuu's nose, it drifted up and curled around Sierra's chin, making her laugh quietly. Can you breath fire? Sierra asked, tilted her head and looking down at Ryuu. Ryuu shifted in a more comfortable position and quiet laughter drifted into her head. Sadly not yet. I won't be able to until I'm full grown, or mature enough. Ryuu murmured back into her head, she thought the feeling of having Ryuu talk in her mind was weird, it was like a snake trying to slither into her head. Sierra shook the feeling away, she looked down at his feathery light bat-like wings and let her hand run over them, feeling the soft texture underneath her slender fingertips. You can fly can't you? Sierra practically blurted out in her mind, Ryuu peeked a large golden orb up at her and blinked then snorted and closed his eyes, appearing to be a small black piece of coal once again. I can somewhat glide, I think. But flying is something I haven't tried yet. Ryuu chided in her head. Sierra sighed, so many questions still lingered in her head but she waved them away, she figured Ryuu was still pretty tired. Sierra tilted her head back and closed her eyes, listening to the quiet humming as she herself fell into sleep..
A few hours later Sierra woke to a loud crashing sound. Thunder boomed loudly making her ears ring with it's intensity. Lightning flashed before her very eyes making her wince and look away. Ryuu was already up, she noticed the warmth that he had been keeping was now gone and she looked over with a startle, afraid finding Ryuu was just a dream. But she soon relaxed as she saw him by the cave's entrance, his small black wings were folded near his flank as he watched the lightning with melted butter eyes, his amber ring glowed with an intense flame. What is it? Ryuu asked, looking back over her with his cute nose. Sierra smiled, obviously amused. It's Lightning, the storm will be here for a while. So you might as well get comfortable. Sierra murmured calmly. Ryuu didn't move instead he watched the lightning, amazed at the power it possessed. He blew a puff of smoke from his nostril. A loud clap of thunder made Sierra jump and cover her ears, she narrowed her eyes, clearly not amused. Ryuu had squeaked and glided back over to her, hiding in her leather jacket, shivering with fright. Sierra chuckled and tentatively reached her hand out and stroke his soft feathery wings, trying to calm him. Will the storm end soon? Ryuu asked, curiously looked up at her, he blew a puff of smoke up at her face and Sierra waved the smoke away with a hand. I'm not sure, It could be a few hours before it's safe enough to travel. Sierra murmured, Ryuu snorted and she heard a mental sigh as he settled himself in her jacket and soon hummed himself to sleep. Sierra watched the lightning, and listened to the thunder for a few heartbeats then settled back against the cold stone, falling asleep once more..
