The water falling from the falls glistened brightly in the sun as Nizhoni squatted down to dip her Husky Nubia's front-paw into the water. Her loyal companion managed to step on one of the many nasty little traps found in the woods, but luckily it wasn't anything a quick dip in the water couldn't cleanse.
"No no no, it's okay - trust me." Nizhoni would whisper as Nubia began to tug her leg back.

Only a few minutes would pass before the paw was no longer stained with blood and the two would both stand tall to stretch their limbs before heading back into the cave.

"Nini! Nini! Come look at my paint, aren't I scary strong looking!?" a young boy called at as she walked by him.
Nubia would go about her own way but Nizhoni stopped, walked towards the boy, and then knelt down in front of him - a huge smile on her face as she noticed the paint on the boys cheeks and chest.
"Oh yes Joseph, you look rather brave."
"Good! I wanna be chief one day, so I have to look scary like Luis!"
Nizhoni couldn't help but giggle a bit at not only the use of the word "chief" but the mention of Luis being scary looking.
"Luis? Scary? He's not scary looking Joseph."
"Yes he is!! I wanna be a chief! I wanna be a chief!!"
The six year old boy began to jump for joy, and if it wasn't for Nizhonis hands being on his shoulders, he just might of bounced off screaming "I wanna be a chief!"

"Well, if that's the case I'm going to tell you something most here don't know. My father, he was chief of our-"
"-YOUR DAD WAS CHIEF?? SO YOU WERE A CHEIFTESS!? COOOOL!!" he'd shout before she could finish, causing her to again laugh softly.
"A Cheiftess? Well no, there's no such thing sweety, but more importantly do you want to know what my father always told my brothers?"
Taking the boys wide-eyes and brief moment of silence as a yes, Nizhoni quickly continued.
"He always said a man should keep their chin high, heart stern but open, and always mark themselves under the eyes."
Without a second thought she'd lick her thumbs, wipe away the paint from the boys cheeks and reapply it directly under his eyes.
"And also, always look the enemy down with a stare that will send the fear of the Gods into their soul."

"Wowww, that's so cool!" Joseph would mutter, before he suddenly took off running towards a group of his friends shouting "Chin up! Chin up! Chin up!"
Nizhoni would again smile as she stood up and watched him repeat what she had said, in his own little way, to the other children. She knew this boy wouldn't face battle anytime soon, if ever, but why not making him feel as strong as he wanted to feel if he found joy from it.

After a few other brief encounters with people she knew, NiNi - as the kids would say - made her way to her room, where she'd find Nubia laying down outside of her door.

"And why am I not surprised to find you here." she whispered aloud, before pushing her battered door open and walking inside.
She was more inclined to mediate or partake in her own little mix of Tai Chi & Yoga before a mission, but she still helped her fellow rebels set up for the nights festivities beforehand. So Nizhoni quickly pulled off lounge-wear she had been wearing since morning and dressed herself in a deer-skin skirt that reached a few inches below mid-thigh & had beaver-fur stitched atop it as a trim, a deer-skin top with fringes on the back collar, and matching boots that nearly reached her knee - all of which she made herself.
She saw no need to adorn her face with paint, and never did much with her hair other than let it out or braid it, so after putting on a pair of hand-made dreamcatcher earrings Nizhoni would run her fingers through her thick black hair a few times before goading Nubia - who was now laying on her bed - with arm motions to follow her back out into the cave.

"Come on, lets go and help set things up before we have to follow Drew back into the wilderness...."
Nizhonis voice would trail off a bit as she thought about again leaving Utopia, but she knew it was for a good reason, It always was, but much more so with the life of Drews sister and Luis's daughter on the line. So within seconds her expression would again become warm, and the two would head back towards were all the preparations were taking place.

The meeting went by quickly, and mostly because Drew brushed off his father's concern for the mission. Lou was clearly concerned for the rescue of his daughter, and he had all right to be. Drew, however, seemed to not care so much for it. Conner nodded as Lou explained their tactics to everyone. Stealth. Stealth was important, he said. It was true. Getting caught would cause a lot of problems. rescuing a specific target requires calm men who can think, and time to find their target and get them out. Conner though about how he would proceed with his part of the plan. Which men should he take? What would be their weapon of choice? How would they get Andrea and Luci out?

"Dad, no offense but Conner and me have poured hours upon hours on going over this plan. Trust us, we got this!" Conner turned to look at Drew as he stood up and stretched. Both him and Conner were the same height, but Conner had a much thicker build. "Come on, lighten up- the festival is tonight, we have the entire journey to go over tactics. Tonight, lets live!" The mention of the festival made Conner tense. The would mean a lot of drunk girls just fawning over him, and Drew trying to get one of them to notice him. Upon looking up, he saw Drew hug his father for a long while before moving back in a playful way. Conner watched as father and son played around for only a second. Seeing such playful actions were rare today, but still pleasant to see.

The room began to empty as the others started to leave the room and Drew said, "Conner, wingman tonight?" Conner sighed, seeing that question coming his way. Before Conner could reply though, Drew left the room, leaving Lou and him alone. Conner stood up, ready to leave, when Lou pulled something out of his pocket. An old wallet. He pulled out a picture that had Andrea with her braces on. The look on Lou's face, and the emotion that it conveyed, made Conner smile slightly. Only slightly. He had not known her with her braces on, but he did remember how excited the girl was about having them off. She never stopped talking about it. "She'd kill me if she knew I showed you this, but she is just too damn precious...even with braces." He was recalling how their life was before the rebellion, until a pang of guilt hit Lou. Conner looked at him as he let out all the pain he felt. "This is all my fault."

Conner rested his hand on Lou's shoulder and said in a stern tone, "We will get her back." Conner looked away from Lou and off into space, his hand still on Lou's shoulder. This was Conner's chance to repay Lou now. Lou had helped Conner through so many tough situations. All the panic attacks when he was on duty were gone in seconds when Lou arrived on the scene. "I promise. She will return home. "

Kat walked carefully to the room where she had been told her boss was. Two rebels had stared at her uneasily for a few moments before pointing her in the right direction but where else was she meant to put this bag? Boss had told her what to get, not where she was meant to deliver it so she assumed it would go to him and then wherever he chose after that. This place was a genius idea really, everything was salvaged or made by the rebels and it felt safe.

She passed Drew as he was heading who knows where and she nodded a greeting to him. She would have waved but her hands were full and she was too tired to really hold any sort of conversation with the guy. It had been a week since she had left the rebel headquarters, and to her it felt like eternity. Kat knocked a few times at the entrance before walking in and placing the large duffel bag on the table in front of her boss.

"The warehouse was where you said it would be boss. Not too heavily guarded, and pretty hidden but I found it. No one would have thought to look in that place for medicine but eh." There was a tense and emotional tinge to the air that Kat hadn't noticed until she walked in and suddenly she felt awkward. Her boss was sitting with his head down and the other guy, Connor was his name that's right, had his hand on the leaders shoulder. Way to go idiot, just barge right in like you belong here. Kat scolded herself before remembering her job. "This bag has a variety of different medicines, all I could carry while still being able to travel. Hope it comes in good use. There were crates of weapons there as well, I don't think they will be able to move it very soon so if you wanted I could make another trip there and see what I can take; they will probably have way more guards there though."

She had been wiping at the ink on her arms while speaking. A few weeks ago Kat had run out of henna ink and so was relying on temporary face paint. Not the best solution and she was impressed it lasted for a week, though it had started to peel off quite a bit. "Damn I could use some scotch." she muttered as the cloth swiped over a cut on her upper arm. So she hadn't been totally undetected; not like they could trace her here she'd been to careful for that. "What's the next job you got for me?"

Andie Hanover

Andie hadn't expected a riot, no these people were much too tame for that. But all it took was a spark to start a forest fire. The seed was set. Plain colored poorly arranged molecules these people called food spattered across Andie's gray standard clothing, mottling across her sun kissed cheeks, a cheshire like smile worn across her features. To the others she might've look maniac. Perhaps in a couple weeks they wouldn't be too far.

Luci might be the type to allow things play out as they may, but Andrea was a Hanover - and Hanover's took initiative. Her guard came barreling through the people that had rose in jubilation and the streak of spontaneity in their ordinary existence. Flocking through the crowd, intimidating men dressed in white subdued the crowd. She was losing them!

She heard her name being called, and in that instant the man behind her took advantage of the situation, gripping Andie's forearm, yanking her back. Using her training, reflexively Andie threw her weight against him - knocking the man off balance. She swung to face him, swinging her leg high to cut across his arm, breaking his grip and rendering him to gravity to take him down. Two men on the left of approached her - one holding what resembled a bar code scanning gun that couples used to use while creating their wish list for future wedding presents to send out.

Immediately Andie ducked from their path, scrambling toward Luci. The cuff around her ankle weighed her down, making her quite not as nimble on her feet. "Luci!" She shouted, seeing the girl struggle under the hold of a man.

The voice over the intercom instructed all civilians to calm down lest be shamed to privileges being stripped from their record. A mans voice behind her spoke, "Damnit someone hold her still."

The horrified of expression if a young girl, shielded by her mother, stood out from the mass of the crowd. There was something behind her eyes that Andie recognized that seemed so rare among the children here - wonder. Strong arms wrapped around from behind her, clamping her arms to her side. Kicking her legs, Andie threw her head back, hearing the satisfying crunch of cartilage. "Ah! You little fucking cunt.".

A faint beep could be heard, and from the corner of her eye, Andie could see the man with the scanner had got her. Obscenities spewed from her mouth. "Fight! Fight! Do not subdue! Fight! Fight!" Even as she struggled against the man, Andie shouted. The blood that flowed from his nose streaked onto the skin on the back of her neck and onto her clothes. Finally her foot made contact with his groin, making the man buckle over. Somehow, Andie manage to wiggle out a free hand, swiftly throwing it above the mans head and wrapping around his neck. With all her might, she pulled down his head to make contact with her knee.

Adrenaline made her skin flush, and with limited reaction time, she rolled onto his back, kicking both feet into the chest of the man with the scanner. The crowd parted around her, and Andie could hear a faint buzzing from her ankle. Panicked, Andie found the quickest escape route, relying on instinct. Taking strides toward the exit that led into the corridors, Andie didn't take three steps before a shocking sensation resonated through her veins. Her muscles went into spasms, submitting to the electricity.

Her body dropped like a rock, twitching in the aftermath. Her lips shook as if she intended to speak, but instead only drool dribbled onto the floor. Ashamed, Andie closed her eyes, unable to look at the criticizing glares. Everyone was so damn brain washed....

Arms much like the ones that had previously detained her came down, scooping her up like a bride. Her body was limp in his arms, weak from electrocution. "Got her...I think it's time she pay a visit to the infirmary." his grim tone made her believe there was more to his words than he let on. Unable to shudder, Andie recoiled into his hold, attempting to hide the tears that had fallen against her will.

Katherin nodded when her boss explained everything. For such a short time away a lot of things seemed to have happened. She had to give the people respect for keeping to the festivities in what had to be a difficult time. It kept the spirits up that was sure. She chuckled and walked to the small room she had been staying in since the beginning of her contract. She didn't need much and other than the bundle of blankets and pillows, and a small crate of clothes there wasn't anything in there. The clothes she had on were covered in blood and dust and were definitely not something to wear while celebrating.

Looking over the slice on her arm she sighed. While she knew how to do basic bandages Katherin was certainly no medic, and she would need to get it properly wrapped up before she went with them on the mission. And she would be going, no doubt about it. Her boss was a good man and she didn't want to see him in the state for longer than he already had been, so anything she could do to lend some help, she would do it.

After cleaning up what dirt was left on her skin she changed into a blue tank top that only had a few frayed edges, and some clean black jeans. Her boots...where there wasn't much to do with them and besides, who the hell would be looking at her feet anyway? Kat chuckled again before digging in her clothes to find her old leather jacket. It had been her mothers before...well before, and she couldn't bear to have anything happen to it so it would stay here while she was out on missions and whatnot. There was no need to do anything with her hair, it was slightly curly tonight but in the morning it would take on a mind of its own, so she simply tied it up into a ponytail and left it at that; there were quite a few strands framing her face but they shouldn't prove to be much of a problem.

With that taken care of she heading to join the others in festivities, arriving just in time to hear the start of her boss's speech. She gave a soft smile at his words before grabbing a drink of some dark looking thing that smelled of alcohol. Perfect. At the cheer she raised her glass with the others and drank half of it down. The burn was excellent and warmed her right up. Kat breathed a sigh of relief.

"Heeey Kat! Lucky you returned in time for the party!" She 'hmmmm'ed at the rebel speaking with her before settling in to join the conversation of the few around her.

Lou seemed to be relieved slightly by Conner's words, up until Katherin entered the room. He left the room, leaving Lou and Kat to talk about the medicines she had taken. Conner headed back to his room to get changed from his regular clothes into his only suit for the festival. It wasn't the nicest suit, but it was the only one he had. He was one of the only men in the rebellion to have a suit at all. Truth be told, Conner did not want to go to the festival, but as a leading commander, he had to make an appearance if only for a moment. Almost like a symbol of hope. He sighed, leaving his room in his nice clothes and off to the festival.

Conner arrived just in time to catch Lou in the middle of his speech. He watched the crowd cheer and drink to their leader, all smiling and enjoying themselves. Conner stood to the side of the crowd, far from the main chaos. A few fellow soldiers smiled at Conner and left him quickly. He knew that they only smiled out of respect. It was the women that Conner had to be afraid of. He could see them looking at him and spreading the rumor that the commander had arrived. It was almost like a game to them. Year after year, he knew that they sent girl after girl to see who could get him into bed. And year after year, Conner denied them of even his bare skin.

And so, the first girl walked towards him. She was beautiful, sure. Much more so than the ones who usually came first. She smirked at him, holding two drinks in her hand, as if she expected to meet with him. Conner narrowed his eyes slightly and furrowed his brow as she swayed her hips and came at him as if she owned the word. He was being challenged. This was new. Conner took in a deep breath and puffed out his chest subconsciously. He saw Drew in the crowd looking around and only hoped he would see him. This was a rare moment that Conner wanted Drew to come in. "Commander. Nice to meet you." The girl said in a stern tone. Conner didn't reply. "Got you a drink, handsome, but I drank it."
"That's too bad." He replied. The girl dropped one of the glass and tugged on his tie to pull herself up and whispered in his ear, "But you can still have some." Without a moment to react, she kissed him. Oh, she's smooth. Conner thought to himself. She pulled back, but remained close to his face. He knee rubbed up against his inner thigh and her chest against his. "I want to do some bad things to you, soulja-boy."

By that point, it was enough for Conner. He stepped to the side and briskly walked off to get Drew as the girl snickered. Conner grabbed Drew's shoulder to grab his attention and greeted him, "Hey." He could taste the alcohol from the girl's kiss in his mouth, and it was foul. Drew could probably smell it, but the whole place smelled like alcohol.

He made it look so easy, this Bojangles. Kat supposed maybe it should be easy for her, since she had taken gymnastics before...well before all this. And with the beat guiding her it was a bit easier, bobbing and moving with the thump. She closed her eyes, listening and just moving and soon it was strange that she had thought it to be so difficult. There wasn't much to it really, and her feet moved nearly on their own in time with the music. Without even realizing it she was smiling actually smiling as she danced along with the people around her. She supposed maybe she owed this guy a thank you. Maybe.

After a few moments of smiling and a few laughs she felt a small pang in her heart. She was feeling happy, happier than she had in a while but it was too much. Everything became extremely clear and at the same time hazy and she slowed her movements down as if on autopilot. It was getting difficult to breathe and her head started to feel light. Her hands fell to rest at her sides and her fingers started twitching. Bits of her hair were sticking to her hairline and the tips of her ponytail started were grating on the nerves in her neck. Too much too damn much Kat you idiot. She leaned towards the guy for a moment to tell him "I need a drink" before walking in the direction of the bar.

People brushed past her and she flinched away from the contact. Just need a drink to calm down. She could see Drew and a few others sitting off to the side but walked past them, she could say hey later. Approaching the bar she nodded a hello and spoke quickly. "Give me something strong." The guy oh dammit what the hell was his name again laughed before pouring her a glass of bright amber liquid. Not even bothering to ask what it was she swallowed it down as quick as she could without choking. Instant burn, instant relief. Her nerves calmed, her breathing returned to normal and the ground stopped clawing at her legs. Kat breathed out a sigh before signalling for another one.

Both boys stood tall next to each other, making them impossible to miss. "Hey, you made it in time to hear the we are Sparta bit." Conner heard Drew say as he looked at his father. Then Drew's eyes moved around the crowd. "What happened to your new little friend?" When Conner looked at the boy, he saw a sneaky smirk as if teasing him. He opened his mouth to reply to Drew's question, but was stopped by harsh laughter and witty comments.

"Hey Drew. Hi Conner, would you like my drink to wash your mouth out?" Conner heaved out a heavy sigh as Nizhoni laughed her heart out. Conner was fully aware that is actions around women made him seem as if he was still a virgin or just plain awkward around girls, but he was once greatly admired for his skills in bed. And for that exact reason, he refuses to have sex with women now. Once he has sex with one girl, every girl would want it from him. Itd be twice as bad as girls just wanting him because he's handsome...

"I'm sorry Conner, I just couldn't help myself." she'd let out in-between giggles. "Kudos to attracting loose women"
"I guess I must be that handsome.." Conner murmured, as an attempted at making a joke..
"If you're looking for that woman I'd start with every available man in Utopia, she's known for well um, being loose....even the children call her 'Everybody's mama', but if that's what you want she's easy enough to get I suppose."
Conner looked at Drew for a moment and said to him, "Do not try it. I know you want it, but I need you to trust me when I say it's not worth it. Not for her anyways."
"Is it the Apocalypse all over or what? Kat dancing with Bo, I can't even begin to understand that one" she'd joke, while drinking the last of her water.

"Well, I think I'm gonna go to our little impromptu bar and get something to drink before I go for a swim, see you two later."
Nizhoni said to them with a smile before walking away. When she left, Conner turned to Drew and asked, "Does by breath smell that strongly? What was that woman drinking?"

Soon, another girl waltzed into their mists. This time it was Kat. She asked fora heavy drink and chugged it down quickly. Conner raised an eyebrow as she desperately drank the first and started the second. Before Conner could say a thing about, a girl clung onto his arm. This time it was some one she knew. "Kayla... Where's your sister?"
The question did not need to be answered because he heard her voice behind him. "You are just as tall as Mr. Conner." Sarah said, as she leaned on Drew. "And just as handsome."

This pair of twins had been friends with Conner for a long time, but recently have been busy. Truth be told, the sisters were the only ones, who were still around today, that Conner had sex with. Kayla smiled at Conner mischievously, as if asking him for a trip down memory lane. "Kayla... I do-"
"Shut it Conner. Me and Sarah was to play with you and your friends Drew. We both know Drew won't say no. Don't ruin it. Come on. Don't make me drug you." She said harshly, glancing at Drew and her sister. Conner looked at Drew, as if waiting for a response from him.

After a few moments of the burn slowly moving through her veins, Kat's nerves became warm and everything calmed down completely. Distantly she noticed her boss's kid and Connor good Kat you finally remembered a name getting propositioned by two chicks. She chuckled, good job boys. She let the bar tender know she wanted another drink and with a raised eyebrow he filled her glass. By this time she, thankfully, had the start of what could be a pretty good buzz. Excellent. Halfway through the third drink and she barely noticed the others walking away from the bar. What she did notice, however, was the arm wrapping around her back. Her eyes glanced to the side, ready to hit whoever had touched her. Seeing who is was made her freeze and she instead turned to stare in confusion at Bojangles. He was asking if she was alright. Why?

"Hmmm. I'm fine now. Just needed a drink." She thought about shrugging his arm off but blame it on the alcohol or the mission she had just returned from, it felt kind of nice. Kat turned back to her drink, finishing it before grinning cheekily at him. "Why are you so worried, was my dancing that bad?" At the last word she poked him softly in the chest.

Watching her bring the drink to her lips confused him. Bojangles never really knew why people would drink. Bojangles was too paranoid that the people that didn't like him already would be even more inclined to attack him with a bit of alcohol in their system. If someone were to do something about their dislike of him, he wanted to be sober when it happened-and besides when applesauce tasted so good, he'd rather tote that around.

She finished her drink, and Bojangles wanted to try something. Keeping his arm around her, he opened his bottle, and filled her glass with applesauce.

Bojangles knew he must of done something right. She looked kind of happy to see him, and hadn't smacked him. He had his hands on her after all. Throwing out Drew's comment on what Kat would do if he screwed up, he closed the distance between them. They were close right now, but just not close as Bojangles wanted. She softly poked his chest, with the question "Why are you so worried, was my dancing that bad?"

"Well..." he remarked with a smile. He decided this was as good a time as any to make another move. Tossing aside regrets(and common sense)he put them closer by having his hands meet behind her back. "Now I'm here, and I got you. So, what's gonna happen now?" He matched her cheeky grin with another, and he held her, hoping she was enjoying the embrace, and not plotting to stab him.

Bojangles came into the mix at the bar no sooner than later, and spoke to Drew and Conner. Conner wasn't a big fan of the guy, but knew he was useful to the rebels, so he kept his mouth shut. The guy never didn't anything wrong anyways. Conner turned back to look at Kayla who in turn smiled and pulled him away, following Drew and Sarah. The boys were led to the water's edge, a generally empty place during the festival. Kayla smiled at Conner before kissing his lips gently. She caressed his ace with her soft hands, as Conner ran his hands down her sides. "I've missed you, soldier." Kayla said to him in a whisper. Conner smiled softly in reply as he fiddled with the girl's pants.

Conner looked to see how Drew was faring, and although he seemed a bit uncomfortable, he did not protest. They were already half naked when they kissed fiercely. "She won't hurt him." Kayla murmured in his ear. "I just wanted you to leave tomorrow without having any guilt about Drew's girl problem." Conner looked at Kayla, eyes wide with shock. Conner had no idea how she'd do that everytime. This woman knew how to read the man like a book. Conner was about to go on a rant about how he wouldn't feel guilty, but then Nizhoni came out of the water, naked.

He watched her pick up her things and leave, saying only a few words to excuse her actions. Conner watched her carefully, hiding the shame running through his head. Conner was supposedly the "role-model". And now this girl has seen him begin to strip a girl and help drew get laid. What a great image. But knowing Nizhoni, she wouldn't say anything to anyone, but instead judge him forever or whatever she does. When she left, Conner glanced Drew's way then to Kayla, who was already done with his pants.

She played with him, making him groan quietly, but his attention was focused on Drew. Even as Kayla kissed his lips and rubbed his skin, Conner was worried about how Drew was doing. Kayla noticed his concern and sighed. Without any other warning, she pulled the tall man in Drew and Sarah's direction. "Hey Drew, you play with yourself while your alone, don't you?" Kayla let go of Conner and moved to play with Drew. Unlike her sister, Kayla was fiery and fierce. She said whatever she wanted to. "You think about Conner sometimes too. I know you do." Sarah stepped back, and moved to Conner. She wrapped his arms around neck and kissed his jawline, knowing he'd want to watch Drew get flustered.

Luci struggled against the man holding her when she heard her named called out, she was trying to see where Andie was but there was too much going on amd her guard was pulling her back towards the exit. Andie then came out, guards trailing her. She watched as her friend fought off the impending guards. "Don't stop! Fight within, you know this is wrong!" she yelled. The guards hold then got tighter "keep you mouth shut girl or I will make you" the guard snarled in her ear.

Luci didn't stop, she cheered when Andie broke the guards nose. She saw Andie was going for the exit "go Andie just go" she whispered under her breath but then she saw Andie went down. A small scream escaped her lips as she kicked her leg back into the guard's groin that was holding her. The guard loosened his grip and Luci was able to get free.

"Andie!" she yelled as a guard went to pick her up, she knew what had happened. She knew it could happen to her but she didn't care. Hearing what the little girl said to the guards she laughed and gave a thumbs up to the girl. Two guards were walking towards her "Restrain her and bring her to the infirmary also, these two need some re-education".

Luci went to run but she felt a blow against her head, everything went black as she collapsed to the grou.d A guard picked her up and followed the other guard that had Andie. Blood was trickling down Luci's head, her white hair was now being died with blood, making it look like she has red streaks in her hair.

A team of six were in the forest, making there way to the grounds where a Detention Center was held. "Luci and Matt head up to that hill up there, Mark and Jayson go to the right, Heather and I will go in from the left" Frankie said. Luci knew this was dangerous but they needed to show Big Brother that they were willing to do anything.

Blood and lots of it. There was too any of them, Luci let out a scream when she saw her partner go down. She tried taking out as many as she could with her crossbow but it wasn't enought. "Take her alive" she heard someone say, she then felt herself being dragged. She then figured they were talking about her.

Memories haunted her of when she got caught, she felt like she was reliving the moment over and over again until she could open her eyes just a bit. Her head was pounding, she tried to move her legs and arms but it was no use. Luci had restraints on her arms and legs. Closing her eyes once more she tried to fall back into unconsciousness but it was no use. There was some conversation happening in the room, all she could do was listen and hope Andie was okay.

Being so close to him brought on the realization that he, like everyone else around here, was taller than her. Quite a bit actually. She glanced down at his arms around her before glaring at her glass.....now filled with applesauce. Well, she wouldn't need a drink for a little while now anyway, the buzz was still going strong. Kat looked up at him, her foggy mind taking in the details of his skin and cheeky smile. A brief idea flitted in her mind and seeing nothing wrong with it, she went with it. One hand grabbed his collar while the other reached behind his neck. Before she could think otherwise she leaned up to kiss him for a few seconds on the lips. She didn't know what game she had started but it wasn't in her to lose. Pulling back with an evil smirk she tapped her finger on his chin.

"What's going to happen now, is I'm going to ignore the fact that there is applesauce in my glass, and then I'm going to find my way to fresh air to see if I can possible see some stars." Her eyebrow raised as she tilted her head to look at him thoughtfully. "Care to join me, since you seem to proud to have caught me?"

There Bojangles stood, with Kat in his arms. He couldn't believe it was happening. It's been said that this girl would maim someone if they screwed up, and he had her in his arms. She'd noticed the applesauce, but didn't seem too upset. The thoughts that were racing through his head were soon interrupted when she started climbing on him. Pushing the two closer with her hand on his neck, and one pulling him in on his collar. The two were sucked together, but Bojangles sure didn't mind. She pulled away with a smile, that worried, but more over excited him. Soon, her finger was on his chin.

"What's going to happen now, is I'm going to ignore the fact that there is applesauce in my glass, and then I'm going to find my way to fresh air to see if I can possible see some stars." She had noticed the applesauce... He didn't know why she wanted to see the stars, but he would go with her none the less. She leaned back to look at him, and he held her gaze. "Care to join my, since you seem to proud to have caught me?" Taking in her words, he hoped she hadn't realized how big it was for him. "Well, wouldn't wanna be anywhere else."

He didn't want to break the embrace, but he had to if they were going to go anywhere. The regrets weren't too high, as he quickly grabbed her hand after. "Let's go then."

Drew Hanover

Cutting in and out of sleep, Drew was grateful that the hall traffic was absent and he was able to have some peace of mind through his drunken state. All the time he had his father hovering over and scrutinizing his every move. It was endless, and home was always a place for his father to point out every fault. Although he wasn't swaddled in blankets in his hammock, Drew was comfortable enough to drift off. A voice calling his name made him jerk out of sleep, the jest of his drunken state being because he couldn't hold his liquor making his lips pull into a tight smile.

[i]"Let me guess, avoiding home until the alcohol wears off some? Well I'd bet anything your dad's asleep by now - it's pretty late. So here let me help you up, you should be trying to get some sleep tonight."[\i]

He wanted to object, but a lurching sensation in his stomach told him that he would need help getting up. Allowing Nizhoni to help him up, Drew chuckled as he leaned his weight into the woman. "My oh my, you must buy me dinner first." He said in a falsetto voice, cracking as his sentence phased away. Humor was still making his blood rush, and despite having slept some, Drew felt even drunker than before. That moonshine had really done a number on him. Walking toward his home, an image of himself at the watering hole with Sarah made him take a serious expression.

"Can you believe that bitch asked if I was gay?" His brashness was out of character, but his inhibitions were at an all time low. Funny how when he began drinking was when he began acting like his twin. Leaning so that his lips were only centimeters from Nizhoni's smooth cheek, he sighed. "I'm for damn sure not gay." He said half to himself, stumbling along. "Do you think I'm gay? Cuz maybe that's why I never get laid, everyone thinks I'm fucking gay." If his slurred speech wasn't indication enough, Drew had shifted into a alcohol fused rant. Throwing up his hands, Drew shouted out belligerently, "I'm straight, damnit! I like tits and ass!....just don't know how to fucking talk to these hoes." His angry comments were almost comical as he wobbled out a few steps, then leaning against the wall. His breath was labored, as if he had just ran a marathon, and once again he rested his head against the wall as if to nap.

Drew leaned into her as he tried to catch his balance. "My oh my, you must buy me dinner first." he'd joke, and Nizhoni would simply shake her head and smile as it became painfully clear the only thing that was going to sober Drew up was a long nights sleep an a cold shower.

"You're so going to regret this in the morning....." she'd mutter under her breath, before the two began to head towards the Hanover residence.

"Can you believe that bitch asked if I was gay?" Drew would randomly blurt out along the way.
It would take Nizhoni a couple seconds to put together he was talking about Sarah, but before she could make her own smart comment she felt his breath on her cheek - his lips only centimeters from her skin.
"I'm for damn sure not gay."
At first her back would straighten stiffly from his closeness but she'd quickly relax it again and sigh as he continued on.
"Do you think I'm gay? Cuz maybe that's why I never get laid, everyone thinks I'm fucking gay."
At this point he had let go of her hand and began to theatrically rant. "I'm straight, damnit! I like tits and ass!....just don't know how to fucking talk to these hoes."

Others might of found Drew's behavior appalling, or something that should be rep-remanded, however Nizhoni knew it was the alcohol talking and couldn't help but give him leeway. Despite what he'd ever admit to anyone she knew he had to be under immense pressure, and that knowledge guided how she responded to him.
"No Drew, you're the furthest thing from gay....you're just insanely wasted." she'd respond softly while watching him stagger a bit until he ended up against a nearby wall.
"I know you're probably too drunk to understand me but," Nizhoni would break her sentence long enough to walk in front of him and lightly grab his chin. "you're really lucky it was me who found you, and not one of these whiners who jump at the chance to run and tell Lou every little thing."
Her tone was light but serious at the same time, there were quite a number of people who were gossip hounds in Utopia and couldn't resist running and telling Lou an others in command any little tid bit of gossip they could dig up, and even though there was nothing that could be said that would make Drew lose his position, Nizhoni knew first hand how fathers could be towards their sons if they messed up - seeing as how her brothers often use to complain about such things and call her the golden child, so Drew was definitely lucky it wasn't one of the residence whiners who found him.

"Come on" she'd say after letting go of his chin. They were mere steps from his front door so after throwing Drew's arm around her neck Nizhoni would drag him towards the door and then through it.
Sure, she could of left him to his own devices, but he was so wasted she knew the probability of him making it inside and NOT waking up his father was extremely low.

"Which room is yours..." she'd ask more to herself, an after several seconds of pondering she'd pick one that thankfully appeared to be Drews.
"Talk about a stroke of luck." she'd mutter, before dropping Drew lightly onto his mattress. She'd go to stand back up but would stop a foot or so from Drew's face and smile.
She couldn't help but feel bad for him even though she knew he'd get annoyed with her for such pity

"Get some sleep...." she'd whisper, before standing up and making her way towards the bedroom door. Nizhoni would glance back for a few seconds then close the door, make her way out the Hanover residence, and down the darkened halls to her own room.

By the time she reached her own room again and threw the back pack on the floor her bare feet would be covered in dirt, and she'd casually wipe them clean before removing her robe and laying down for the night.

His hand was warm. It had been too long since Kat had felt someone elses hand...completely ignoring the times when the hand had been attempting to strangle or attack her. She chuckled silently at the thought as she led him around. She had no idea where she was going at the moment but her feet did and soon enough (though it probably took a while, the alcohol played with her mind a bit) they found themselves standing in a crowd of trees. She smiled widely and looked up, Bojangles' hand still firmly clasped in hers.

"You know....no matter how much the world changes, how much we change, how shitty everything gets.... the stars are still up there twinkling away and being as beautiful as ever. It's reassuring, ya know?" She didn't even know what she was saying, her mouth seemed to have a mind of it's own. A cold breeze hit her and she shivered slightly, unconsciously moving closer to him so she didn't feel as cold. She couldn't see many stars from where they were standing, and the grass under her feet looked wet. But it was calm and peaceful and between the mission she had just been on and the mission she was about to go on, this was exactly what she wanted.

Bojangles was surprised it had lasted this long. Not many people chose to be around him, though he was glad that this one did. She led him, and he was glad she did. There were only a few places he could of led her to- the mess hall, his room, the workshop, and an exit outside. All the locations were equally likely. He only knew a few routes for the important things. They arrived, trees huddling around them in the night. Their hands were together, and he had no intentions of separating them.

They were under the trees and below the stars, when Katherine broke the silence. "You know....no matter how much the world changes, how much we change, how shitty everything gets.... the stars are still up there twinkling away and being as beautiful as ever. It's reassuring, ya know?" Bojangles turned his head to hear her. "Way to turn philosophical on me," a short pause interrupting his thoughts. "Yeah, yeah. I hear ya. They're just up there, and do their thing. Sort of like a mockingbird.. It's a sin to kill those ya know." Bojangles didn't know where he was going with the comment, and wasn't too sure how long she'd stay, but a breeze lowered his worries as she neared him for warmth. "Oh you.." Seeing her move closer, he put her arms around her. "You cold?" He'd tease, but he had to reveal how he really felt. "You know, I could stay like this forever."
