Lilian Midori is seventeen years old and is traveling with her mother to America to start a new life. She is of both Asian and English descent but speaks English with a heavy English accent.

Lilian is a outgoing woman, however shy around strangers. She loves to laugh and have fun, to the displeasure of her proper mother. Lilian can often be quiet though when around ones she does not know however it doesn't take her long to get along with others.

Lilian's mother had eloped with an important English businessman despite her grandmothers pleads and was left pregnant while on a trip to England. Lilian's father bailed when her mother was five months pregnant to keep up his appearance. Lilian had never met her father and resents him for leaving her and her mother to scorn by the public for not having a father. Her mother wants to move to America and have Lilian marry a rich white man there so the two can live comfortably and Lilian is more or less unexcited about this fact.
