Izzy made her way up the old steps placing her hand on the old wooden door, she took a sharp breath before shoving her way in. It had been on her eighteenth birthday since the pack had called a meeting, and that was to name her as Alpha, as well as to tell her she was to become the wife of one of the elder warriors of the pack Adam. She was deeply mourning the loss of Sabel, but part of her was thankful Adam was one that was culled. Not that she would say so to her packmates it goes against their ways to go against orders. True she was the pack Alpha but the Alpha before still had sway over her, the joys of pack life. Adam was cruel and hated she was in charge, he was pushing sixty and Izzy had feelings for her right hand; although she never let on. Before Jessie became the protector of the pack, Adam was able to terrorize Izzy with no one being the wiser, since he had the protector in his pocket. A smile started to work to her lips as she walked along the isle of the hall, when the hall was built it was suppose to be a town hall before the pack and covens became what they are. "Maybe I should think the witches for freeing me for all of that I was facing."
Image

So much had changed in the pack since then. She shook her head chasing the memories and demons away. She walked to the side of the room the witches tended to favor pulling the dust sheets off the chairs as well as the founding Coven painting that hung above it. She fluffed up the pillows making the area look more inviting. She pulled a bundle of white sage and lavender lighting the edge just to cleans the room, in the way she was taught how, it wasn't as powerful done by one with out the gift of the craft but still an olive branch offering the pack had always done with the Silver Coven.
Image

She crossed the room pulling the dusters off the side for the vampires, she stopped short at the painting of the founding vampires looking them all over, she wondered if she should take those paintings down or if that would show more disrespect to them. She chose to leave it up unsure who of the painting was no longer with them. She made her way into teh kitchen grabbing wine glasses and a 1950 bottle of wine, she stopped herself and grabbed a second bottle "better safe." She mused to herself setting the table in prep. Wine wouldn't get them drunk but it helped keep away cravings and it was the same token as the sage for the witches.
Image

She to the front of the room where the wolves sat together a soft smile came to her lips looking at her packs painting the warriors all in wolf form flanking the rest of the pack. She looked back at the room shaking her head "I don't understand why the want to keep this stupid war going its beyond me we could do so much together." She lit a couple of wolvesbane candles around the wolves area, it helped make the wolves smell less "wet dog" like to the vampires.
Image

She rubbed her head forgetting the witches tended to keep cats and while the wolves took no issue to felines they tended to just plain not like the wolves. She pulled out a few cat trees to place on either side of the couch, it usually was enough of a step that the cats would "deal" with them.

She wiped her brow nodding at the hall being in order and not a moment to soon. She opened the door just in time to watch the sun melt below the trees. Izzy took a deep breath letting her vocal cords turn into her wolf ones, being able to change yourself as she willed was a rare talent, while she could have howled for her pack as a human her howl as a wolf carried much futher. She sent out the call for her pack mates to let them know to join her.

"Well here goes nothing."

Haven listened to his brothers words, and shook his head. "All you want is peace brother, but the vampires want this war." He leaned into his brothers hand and shook his head, his temper somewhat calmed by his brothers touch. "It's a morning, but it feels far from good." He muttered slightly looking over to Tai and Anie. He offered them a friendly wave, but that was it.

Sato didn't know much about trickery and evil. At least this was in Haven's opinion. He knew the vampires would come after them the first chance they got. So of course he'd be on his toes, wanting his coven to be safe and protected he'd step forward in agreement. "Let us cast this circle and be over it. I need this evening to be over." He shifted feet and nodded seriously at all of them.

"Whenever you all are ready, because I have a feeling we're running a wee bit late... " He chuckled and held out his arms.

Haven was an ass, as far as everyone knew, but did everyone know the truth about Haven's real motives?

Image That morning they went on their hunt. He didn't really care on the other hand, if attention was brought to him, he'd just killed whoever was in the way. Ah, but today was different, he had to play being the goodboy. Try telling that to an old human man, he'd probably beat you with a cane and tell you to mind your business. What irritated him the most was that this world was being run by kids. Children! Even the witches were all young and his Coven. Wasn't like he could comment on the Wolves, dogs never lived too long to begin with, not even in the mythical world.

Wanted everyone to be at their strongest. He was on the other hand hoping there would be a fight, he could always use the fun to putting up with a Witch, those ungodly things. He never liked the Witches, not in his many centuries did he ever like one of them. If there was a day he did like one, he'd more likely be dead. Cieed never really got the chance to properly know one of the new born witches. Mainly because he'd figured that they'd be monopolized by the Elders. Never had time for that crap. To him the Elders were the type of witches who were the kind to be 'this is my world, I got the power, so I run it. Obey my rules or be punished.' So on and so on. That's how they were. Cieed on the other hand didn't see it that way. He saw that everyone had their own power. That everyone should follow their own rules. But the witches did infact have more power. So it was left with no other choice. Follow their rules or be dead.

This was why Cieed and the witches never got along. He hated rules, though he understood them, he never cared to follow up by them. What the witches didn't know wouldn't hurt them, he'd always say. Break the rules do whatever you want as long as you don't get caught. But there was one rule that he did go by. Never cross over the wrong territory. Vampires on their own turf, just like wolves to their own and so on. This was his utmost number one rule. They centuries are changing, hiding who you are isn't as easy as it use to be. The more time passes the harder it gets. Starting wars between different kinds would mean war with the humans. A dangerous card to play. Like a joker or wild card.

Didn't take the vampires long to reach the hideout. But the staid within the shadows before walking inside the building, waiting on the others to come in. He was curious as to the new born witches. But who he really wanted to see is their leader. He was told that the boy they choice was to be the light of their source. So he waited in silence like a statue for the others to arrive. The sun had fallen and the witches should be here soon. He didn't really pay no mind to the wolves, he already knew what was going on with them. But no one really knew of the witches, they were very secretive and it struck his attention.

That morning they went on with their protecting spell. Each one of them was protected by a small light, also known as a shield of light. This helps prevent them from dying or being killed, but it only last for a short time. 4 to 5 hours tops, no less and no more. They could only use this spell once a day or once every week depending on how many they use this spell for. Seeing as they used the whole group, they won't be able to use it again for another 4 days. Each person each day. Magic was always tricky like that. You win some and you lose some, that's how it was. It also involves a balance. Or in order to take you have to give. To use magic you have to balance it out by giving something back of equal greats, ah equal value. But that only involves the magic that you were not given to use. Like a earth user was given the power to use earth, so they do not need to give back an equal value of return. Same goes for fire, water, (lightning)spirit and air.

~Remembering~
"Sato the time we took you and your brother in was the very moment I knew that you'd be the one to lead our Coven to the very best. You give of this light that no one else does, learn to use it well." The first elder said.

He was the the man who found Sato and his brother, not sure how he did though. Just one day up and out of the blue, the Elder walked up to the boys and said. 'I know what you are, come with me I can help you.' So that was that, of course there was a long argument with Sato's brother and the old man, but eventually they ended up where they are now. With the Elders dying and Sato becoming leader. It was a big change and hard to deal with at first, but over the short time Sato got it handled mostly.

~
"Brother..." Sato murmured as he looked down at the ground along where he was walking. Wanting to make sure that he was still following next to him. "I just want you to know that, if it wasn't for you. I'd probably be nowhere in life. You make me stronger. I only agreed to become leader because,..." His murmur became quiet as he paused near the location. They were almost there to the location to where everyone was meeting up. At this time Sato should be feeling nervous, like any other person, but not him, he was rather excited about the meeting, he liked meeting new faces and experiencing their personalities. "..Mainly because I wanted to be the one protecting you this time. " He smiled softly to himself. His whole life his brother has been the one looking out for him, the one protecting him. Now he saw it was his time to return the favor, to return the love and kindness that was given to him all these years. His brother didn't have to, his brother could have just abandoned him and left him to die. That never happened, his brother was always there.

Sato turned around and faced his coven, taking in a deep breath and smiling, reaching up to pet his calico's nose that sat on his shoulders. "Well it looks like we are here." He pulled down his hood from his white cape and turned back around to walk up to the door, but just as he was about to knock he felt the spiritual vibrations weigh down on him. The earth under his feet felt like it was shifting, but only he could feel it. Dropping his hand he turned and his eye's met with Cieed's, even though he could hardly see him hiding in the shadows, he could sense him and his spiritual pressure. It was strong and full of death, it reeked of blood and made his stomach turn. And in that moment he wasn't so sure this was such a good idea any more.

Sigrid entered the meeting hall shortly after Cieed. Her black high heels clicked precisely on the wood floor as she made her way to what was apparently the vampires’ reserved space. The coven’s youngest vampire and also its second in command swept the room with a long focused stare almost appearing as if she were hunting which in a way she was. Sigrid was searching for any sign of betrayal especially from the witches.

Once satisfied with her observations and after memorizing the hall’s layout the slight blonde perche on the end of the sofa as if she were a bird of prey. Crossing her left leg over her right she couldn’t but help to fall back into her old habit of swinging her elevated foot back and forth. It was a sign of her nerves, it was barely possible for Sigrid to maintain the vampiric stillness that came so naturally to most of their kind on a normal day let along when in such a situation.

Inherently she knows that she should probably mimic Cieed but the leader didn’t choose her because she was his replica, the exact reason she would probably never know. Perhaps it was because with her long blonde hair and smooth, porcelain skin Sigrid resembled a china doll of version of Alice in Wonderland. If Alice’s favorite food was blood and instead of following the White Rabbit she ate him instead.

The vampire was fairly certain that the other groups would not peg her as the second in command of their coven. She looked and seemed relatively harmless especially when compared to the other vampires in attendance. This was exactly the effect she was going for. Attempting to settle her nerves, Sigrid glanced once more around the room wondering when exactly things would get under way.
