|Scars/Tattoos/Piercings| Lou has a small collection of tattoos in the style and faded appearance of the Vietnam Era military. The most visible of these is a classically stylized tribal design which extends down the inside of his left forearm, and often peeks below a loose fitting sleeve. A distinctively contrasting design style of Chinese characters can sometimes be noticed along his left collar bone in an open collared shirt. Lastly, the least revealed body art is that of a bare chested mermaid, holding a ribbon that displays the name of a long forgotten military division upon the outer face of his right bicep.
Scars seem to be a scarcity given his six decades of living and harshness of professional association. This is save for a long, straight edged mark that would all but go unnoticed across the right half of his abdomen. Additionally he wears the minor stains of hard work in aged skin -- a normality to all who endure such life.
General DescriptionLouis Coppola has been in the game a very long time. It's not very clear what sort of history he has with Don Santoro from the outside; but the embraces they share in greeting would suggest it runs deeper than mere acquaintance. Any two-bit P.I. could give you the basics. Born to your average Immigrant parents of the Bronx, Louis grew up with a poor but quiet childhood.
Straight out of highschool he enlisted in the Navy for 'Nam. After a decorated tour -- which is a topic of the utmost "off-limits" variety in today's conversation -- he returned to the states, and no sooner had his feet touched the star spangled earth he began work for Santoro Inc. From the outside, it would be easy to lose Louis Cappola in the sea of commercialism and desk riders. But from within, his reputation for loyalty to the family made him quickly one of the premiere "go-to's" on any given day.
On the street side, Louis quickly garnered the nickname "Fast Louie", for his reputation of swiftly carrying out any and all orders that came from above -- all without question or blink of hesitation. It was by this moniker that "Fast Louie" became one of the most trusted and feared gang bosses on the streets of Boston.
His loyalties have seemingly remained unwavering as stone for the family. With the toils of sweat in its building, to the partaking of the fruits in their success, Louie Coppola has weathered the storm at the very forefront of the Santoro Empire. With the changing seasons at hand, one cannot help but wonder how the veteran will take to the changing of the guard. Rumors abound of Louie's distaste for young Giovanni. Some have even gone so far as to claim hearing open confrontation with the Don on the matter. But who can say what the future will hold?
Personality (As big as they come)|Hobbies| If you catch Fast Louie anywhere but in "all business" mode, you've made a truly rare discovery. Apart from the ritualistic late evening drink after a long day at the office, it's nearly unheard of to find the man laid back. The rare photograph of a golf outing or casino visit may find Lou along side the Don; but even there events are almost always tinged with some level of business dealing. As such, hobbies are all but a mystery for Lou Coppola. To the day however, he spends at least eight hour of his scheduled week at a local boxing gym, where he works out religiously.
|Likes| This category is in short supply as well. Almost as if keeping to some strict abidance of childhood, Lou operates under the adage of having two ears to one mouth... thus never saying much, unless need calls for it. As such, he likes to be left alone for the most part. If you were to be picky over his day, you could also determine that he likes tuna fish sandwiches, black coffee, and old-fashioned scotch, as dry as they can get. In almost direct opposition to the rest of his personality, Lou has a soft spot for slapstick, old time comedy, such as The Three Stooges.
|Dislikes| This list could almost be considered the inverse of his likes. With his all-business and gruff demeanor, Lou dislikes unnecessary small talk, and dislikes wastes of his time even more. When "you're in", Lou is as loyal as they come. It is said that he would take a bullet for any of the men he had working under him. But disloyalty -- or even lying in general -- can turn him into a ruthless and emotionless force. Life is simple to Louis Coppola. If you do not play by the rules you are out...for good.
|Habits| As mentioned, Lou is very ritualistic in nature. OCD even. He wakes up, goes to work and comes home, all in very similar ways, day-in and day-out. This has caused him to develop a heightened sense of becoming annoyed when things are slightly off. Apart from being so routine, there are very few things to note about the private man.
CareerLou has done it all inside of Santoro. He has climbed the ladder to one of the highest rings for someone without the family name. And there he has remained -- loyally and contently for many years.
History There is not much that hasn't already been said about Lou's past. His formal training as a Navy S.E.A.L. and shaded past connections with Don Santoro have served him well in his long career as...an...accountant...for Santoro Inc.
|Relationship Status| Single, widower.
|Family| His wife of ten years passed away nearly a decade ago, after divorcing Lou some time in the 70's. During the span of their marriage, they had had two kids together: a boy and a girl, who she took with her in a move to Cleveland. Lou stayed out of their lives for the most part, save for the occasional phone conversation. Louis Jr., his son, died in combat during the Gulf War. Mary Jean, his daughter, still resides in Cleveland with a dead beat husband and is expecting her third child on the way.
|Known Languages| English fluently, which is itself a rarity. He is also fluent in cursing, which is less of a rarity. In formal settings and small interactions he seems to get by with a limited knowledge of Italian as well.
