It is several years after a great battle occurred, as demonkin rose from hell, determined to gain their right to walk the earth. Angels descended from the skies, driving the demons back to hell…
But they failed.
Demons have conquered the realm and angels are close to extinction, flocking together to ready for one last assault. Other races suffered, too; vampires, humans and elves have been sanctioned to small cities (one for each of the species). Any of these creatures outside of city walls is to be killed on site.
Werewolves and werecats still roam the forests, considered to the demons as worthy of death as any remaining angel.

That is the basic plot, the rest is up to you. I’m keeping it fairly open for creativity’s sake.

RACES:
*If you’re wondering why I use the word ‘typically’ so much in this section, it’s to indicate something which is GENERAL, not ABSOLUTE (i.e, if you don’t want to abide by this typicality, please indicate why your character is different in the character sheet).
* Demons, elves, were beasts and angels only use a first name. Humans and vampires have a first and last name. Werewolves tend to introduce them self with their name followed by their pack name.
* Demons and Angels live in hell/heaven where there really isn't any time, and while on earth, they don't age.
*Ages: For demons/angels just put roughly how old they look, for elves, put their age as well as how old they look and for vampires, put how old they are and how old they were when they were turned.

Demon:
Appearance: Black wings, talons on hands, red eyes.
Strengths/weaknesses: Flight, immortality (don’t age, immune to illness; decapitation will send them back to hell). Typically fight empty-handed, as talons create difficulty wielding weapons. Carry poison in their talons, (talon injuries can lead to serious illness or even death in ALL other species (including angels)).
Other: Tolerate vampires, elves and humans, provided they remain in their elective zones. Angels and werebeasts are to be exterminated. Currently rule the realms.

Angel:
Appearance: White wings, typically fair and attractive.
Strengths/weaknesses: Flight, immortality (don’t age, immune to illness; decapitation will send them back to the heavens). Restoration (heal from injuries rapidly). Healing (can heal others by laying hands).
Other: Very few of them left now, many separated from each other by demon patrols and cities. Regrouping and closing the THREE portals from hell, so slain demons cannot come back are their major objectives.

Elf:
Appearance: Typically tall, slender and beautiful. Pointed ears.
Strengths/weaknesses: Typically lack in close-combat strength and are better from a distance. Also typically agile, quick and with heightened senses. Elves can also use magic, but are typically only skilled in ONE area, e.g Elemental, shape-shifting, healing/restoration. Elves also age extremely well, and often live hundreds of years.
Other: Elves typically feel close to the natural world. They have several Gods/Goddesses; Lystell, the goddess of love, warmth and light, Kyndel, goddess of nature, Pan, god of music, festival, drink and sex, Aries, god of war, Nephex, goddess of death and the Night Mother (who the elves believe gave ‘birth’ to werebeasts and vampires (whom they call daetril)), goddess of the hunt. In Elvish culture, priests/priestesses are held of the highest esteem because they are said to commune with the Gods. (Other races may believe in these gods too, but it is not typical).
*If you are confused about the Gods, or the types of magic permitted, and wish to make an elf, please ask me in OOC/pm.

Werewolves:
Appearance: Human during the day, but wolves in the night.
Strengths/weaknesses: Silver is a major weakness. As both wolf and human, they typically are very strong in close-combat. It takes a long time for werebeasts to gain control of their wolf form. (Wolves in full control can chose when to shift, night or day and are not reduced to primal savagery)
Other: The werebeast tend to live in packs, and there are currently only THREE packs, and they all have an alpha male and/or female.
*If signing up a werewolf, please indicate if you would like your character to be an alpha (RESERVED). Packs will be randomly assigned (and alphas can choose the pack name). Alphas can also determine the rank of other wolves in his/her pack.

Werecats:
Appearance: Human during the day, but big cats (any) in the night.
Strengths/weaknesses: Same as werewolves.
Other: Werecats are typically solitary, though some may band together for strength.

Vampires:
Appearance: Pallid humans with prolonged canines.
Strengths/weaknesses: Silver, as it is to werebeast, is a weakness. Sunlight is as well (slow disintegrating (and agonizing) burn, not exploding XD). Typically have heightened senses, and do well in both long range and close-contact combat. Depend on blood for survival (going several days without it renders a vampire very weak and somewhat insane, and several weeks would put the vampire in a state of paralysis). Can sustain on animal blood, but would receive no added agility, strength or heightened senses. Immortal (can only be killed by exposure to sunlight or decapitation)
Other: Vampires who dwell within the city allocated to them are permitted to enter (under demon guard supervision) the cities of the elves and humans (Saturday and Monday for human blood, Friday and Wednesday for elf blood).

Human:
Appearance: Typical humans.
Strengths/weaknesses: Humans are typically of balanced strength long range and close up. They can be easily killed, but have no general weaknesses. Some humans may learn magic, but unlike Elvish magic (which is drawn from within), they rely on potions, spells and runes.
Other: Most humans believe in only one God, whom they refer to as the creator god.

PLACES:

There are THREE demon cities, in the largest of which resides the demon Warchief (*Can sign up for this character, if not, will be NPC). All three cities are close to the sea. (If you are demon, please indicate if you are in city 1 (Kalyxchnn, the capital & home of the Warchief) 2 or 3. First demon resident of cities 1 & 2 can invent the name).
There is a city for each of the following species; elf, human and vampire. All these cities are closer to the large stretch of forest and much smaller. (Again, please indicate if your elf/vampire/human lives in a city. First of each species gets to create the cities name)
Some elves, humans and vampires might live independently (or in small groups) outside of the city and in the forest, but they do so at their own risk.
The angelkin that remain reside in parts of the forest, as do most werebeasts (some may live in the human/elf/vampire cities, but again, at their own risk).
Setting not too modern (Like, no guns and DEFINITELY no cell phones).
Creatures within the cities share rooms with others in large buildings which have dozens of such rooms, as well as kitchens, a tavern etc. Creatures are required to work; gathering resources, cooking/smithing/cleaning etc., serving at the bars/kitchens, as bodyguards or maybe even in the demon army.
The rest of the realm is up for you guys to create. :3

CHARACTER CREATION:

You may have up to three characters, but try to make them of varying race.
I’m not making an exact sheet, but please include:
- The basics (age, name, race),
- Whether your creature lives in the cities or the forest (or somewhere of your own creation),
- a picture and/or physical description
- At least a few sentences about your character’s personality and/or background
