Vampire Roleplay

Plot/Lore

Taking place in Modern Day Earth, the world (most specifically Humanity) are unaware that creatures of myth and legend are in fact real. Vampires, the stuff of Horror Movies and Books, are just that a literary device to entertain the masses. Yet all legends and tales of the Supernatural have a basis in reality. A reality long since forgotten by Man. Vampires live amongst them, in secret, living out their eternity within pockets of communities known as covens. Some are quite large and some are quite small, but they all adhere to an overarching Government body known as the High Council. The Council is made up of the most venerable of Heads from chosen covens. Yet the highest authority figure is the Head of the High Council who is given the honorary title of Count.

A Count can only rise if voted upon by the rest of the Council, and in the event of a tie, the Viscount (Vice Count) will end it with his/her decision. Beyond that Covens usually follow the orders of a Head Vampire, which why often Covens are referred to as Families since many of it's members are descendants from the Head's bite. Of course outsiders may be added if they prove themselves to be worthy of entering their family. A vampire can be banished from a Coven which is considered one of the highest punishments besides death. Yet, when a Vampire turns Rogue then it's the job of the Coven to report it. Usually they are required to handle these disputes but if they pose a significant danger to the Council then they will send the Regulators. The Regulators are the Law Enforcement of the High Council. They arrive to protect the balance between Vampires and Humans and ensure peace amongst the Covens. They are highly trained warriors, some of the very best that Vampirekind has to offer.

Regulators are often treated with respect for the position within Vampire Society. Almost like the Knights of old. One of the heroes of the story, Caitlin is one such Regulator. She was called upon by the High Council to investigate Aldritch Morose, a rogue Vampire who is gaining a dangerous following. He is hiding out some where and his threats to end the Truce is one that isn't taken lightly. Although it's already bad enough, Aldritch also alludes to finding a special artifact, one of legend amongst the Vampires. If he were to find it, then more than the Truce would be broken. It's a race against time, a Caitlin tries her best to find clues as to where the Revolutionary is hiding. Unbeknownst to her this would transform into one very strange case, as a cast of eclectic characters joins her along the way. Some are welcomed, some are uneasy, and some are just a pain, but these group of strangers will end up clashing with Aldritch Morose and his faction of Vampire Supremacists.

The artifact, Aldritch seeks is called the Blood Diamond. Legend states it was created by none other than Count Dracula, the Greatest of their Kind, by sacrificing the blood of the innocent. Dracula's battles with Mankind were coming towards a boiling point. In order to raise his Vampiric Army, he learned form Demonic Entities an ancient ritual, one that may turn the tide in Dracula's campaign. On the night of the Blood Moon, an object of purity (in this case a Diamond) must be drenched in the blood of the innocent (which is also pure). In order to create an object that is capable of empowering Dracula as well as creating Vampires on a massive scale without the need to taint their blood. It is also said it can reverse the Curse of Vampirism as well. It is said Dracula had success in creating the Diamond but never got the chance to use it. As for the Diamond it was lost after Dracula met his demise. However there are clues as to where it may be located, clues that Aldritch has been collecting.

Lord of the Rings Roleplay?

A roleplay taking place during the Fourth Age of Middle-Earth. Exploring the world after Sauron's death and the new state of it being under the rule of Man. Using parts of lore that touches on the subject lightly, including the Reunited Kingdom, the new nation formed between Gondor and the rebuilt Kingdom of Arnor. The rule of Aragorn's line, mainly King Eldarion son of Aragorn. The subject of the passing of the races of Middle-Earth. Mainly the passing of the Elves. Many of the Elves have all but left Middle-Earth returning to their ancestral homeland in the Undying Lands. Only a few Elves remain in Middle-Earth, mainly keeping to the Woodland Realm. As for the Dwarves they've kept to their Mountain Kingdoms, keeping a firm alliance with the Reunited Kingdom. Some Dwarven Kingdoms have been recovered such as Moria. They have helped to rebuild much of Middle-Earth after the War of the Ring. The Dwarves still live in places such as the Erebor, the Iron Hills, and a colony in the White Mountains. As for the Hobbits, they still live comfortably in the Shire. Although their numbers have dwindled they continue to be spoken of and are regarded in history as heroes.

Man's dominion over Middle-Earth has grown strong. Creating the single largest nation in Western History. Despite this time of unprecedented peace and prosperity, shadows of the past come back to haunt the present. While Sauron is no more his mark on history was not easily forgotten and the rediscovery of Morgorth's history has presented troubling signs. Rumors of a new Dark Lord is on the rise, a cult dedicated to the rise of this new shadow, and tales of a Dark Tree stir. What does it all mean?

D.N.A. The Great Escape- A Roleplay

In the future the Earth is ruled by an Oligarchical Dictatorship known as the Technocracy. The Technocracy was formed originally as the First World Government. Ran only by the most richest and powerful families the World has ever known. This occurred hundreds of years ago. Only five remain as of today. The Government did not become the Technocracy until the advent of advanced robotics and cybernetics. The world is run by advanced machinery controlled by Humans that have been "upgraded" with cybernetics. Keeping the world under a constant surveillance, pumping tons of propaganda through the airwaves, and making sure every child is institutionalized.

Freedom has not existed on Earth for many years and the sad thing is, most of the populace is content with that. Most...there are some who have been taught or know of forbidden knowledge, old texts that spoke of concepts like rights and freedoms. Words lost on the majority of the populace of today. Yet, the world is very much blind, blind to the abuse and the tyrannical nature of the Technocracy. As they hide underneath a guise of popularity in Social and Mainstream Media, often being advertised as great, cool, and beneficial to Humanity itself. So when people disappear or executed, it is never questioned or never though of. After all, the Technocracy takes care of their every need, medicine, food, shelter, education, wealth, all of it is easily accessible and given on a silver platter, the only price? Your very freedom.

There are those who dare to challenge their rule and those that dare often meet death or worse. Area 102, a fate worse than death. In secret, it is a facility that experiments upon Human beings. Specifically in Genetics. Human genes are spliced and mixed with Animal and various other DNA. Transforming them for a sinister purpose. That purpose, the ultimate slave laborer. The Technocracy has achieved space travel and reports have discovered of incredibly valuable minerals and resources on other planets. Yet, difficulties arise in using basic human laborers. There bodies are not easily conditioned to the extremes of a new planet, making work difficult and slow. As for using cybernetically enhanced laborers, the production is far too costly. Yet, using a labor force that technically doesn't exist, makes for free labor and can be altered to help survive harsh conditions.

Yet Genetic Manipulation and Bioengineering is difficult and dangerous work. Many Humans do not survive and expenses are beginning to run high. But breakthroughs are being made and soon they will have developed enough genetically altered slaves for a first wave of excavation. The players are such, successful experiments as they have been growing used to their forcibly given abilities. All of the torture and abuse suffered unto you by your captors has made you angry. You dream of escape from this underground prison, you long to feel the warmth of the Sun on your skin, the air passing through your lungs and hair, and the first taste of actual food and drink running down your throat.

Yet escape from Area 102 will not be easily. It is heavily fortified with state-of-the-art security systems and a force of highly trained guards. No one has ever escaped, once you enter Area 102, the only way out is death. Yet, you and a group of other prisoners attempt to try. You will have freedom and you will have it no matter what.

Vampire Roleplay (Working Title): The Legend of the Blood Diamond

The High Council

Count Commodus Fuerst- The current Count. He is a strong man made up of strong ethics. He rules the High Council and all Vampirekind with fairness and firmness. He isn't a man to mess with and is quite the disciplinarian, he very much favors his Regulators.

Viscount Gretchen Tennenbaum- The current Viscount. She is more gentle compared to Fuerst's more hardened approach. She is wise and very careful in the way the Council and the rest of their Society is ran.

Councilman Fredrick Zeller- A High Councilman, Zeller is a more recent member of the Council but his views towards equality and the well-being of Vampiric Society make him a well liked figure.

Councilman Silvio Machiavelli- A High Councilman and one of the oldest. He has reached his Councilmanship for some time now, a brilliant but detached man, not many are quite sure of what goes through his mind, but his dedication to the Council is unquestionable.

Councilman Mikhail Arkadyevitch Sokoloff - Another long time member of the High Council. He is the strong and silent type, but is often the first to take action when the need arises. He is very loyal to Fuerst being a long time colleague of his.

Councilwoman Samantha Dean- The youngest of the Council she entered her position a small time before Zeller's election. Despite being one of the newest, she is a fierce and determined member of the council. She is one to always debate and make others consider important issues.

Councilman Harvey Wainwright- Perhaps the most relaxed member of the council. Harvey is calm and dapper, who places more emphasis on their cultural preservation, festivities and various public works. More or less the day by day stuff, he rather let Crime, Punishment, and War be handled by the others.

_______

The Regulators

Chief of Regulation Darren O' Bannon - The Leader of the Regulators, he handles the most serious of the paperwork and takes his orders directly from the High Council. He manages and operates the Regulator HQ and his top Operatives.

Lieutenant Emilia Bermรบdez - A higher up in the Regulators.

Captain Jed Easton - Caitlin's commanding officer.

_______

Kotetsu Lineage Pack

Koketsu- Current Alpha of the Pack. He is the father of Koetsu and is very much a traditionalist. He doesn't accept Koetsu's more progressive ways of thinking and has an enduring hatred for Vampires. He does love his son very much and has since regreted his decision to banish him. Yet thanks to his pride as the Alpha he will not concede and allow Koetsu's return.

Senzo- Current Beta of the Pack. While he is loyal to Koketsu, his eyes have fallen upon the role of Alpha. Thanks to Koetsu's banishment, nothing stands in Senzo's way of one day ruling the pack.

Adrianae- Mate to Koketsu, she is the Matriarch of the Pack and is a loving but stern mother figure. She very much misses her son and has yet to forgive Koketsu for his banishment. She understands his reasoning but believes he should swallow his pride and allow their son to return.

________

Vampire Supremacists

Donovan Victor- A Supremacist and Aldritch's most loyal follower. He often acts as his right hand, helping to spread the notion of revolution and anything else that might be asked of him.

Natasha Von Ruden- Another Supremacist. She is a dangerous character and is believed to be a former spy/assassin that worked for the High Council.

_______

Team 53

Rosa- A name that is of particular interest to Joe's memory. Who she is or what she is to him, is all but a mystery. Although a slight unpleasantness is felt when he dwells on the thought. It is believed she may have been one of his former colleagues.

Ned the Crow- A name, or at least a nickname, that is remembered. Again, unpleasantness is felt when Joe attempts to remember a man named Ned. Perhaps he was another colleague or something else entirely.

DreamWorks Crossover? Thoughts, Details, and Plot.

Another idea floating around about taking some of the characters and worlds described in DreamWorks animated features and having them interact in some form or another. Although there are many features to pick over, I believe in the context of the actual plot for the crossover it would be wise to choose from the more "heavy-action" titles. Of course I don't believe I should remove the humor that is often found in the films themselves despite whatever setting DreamWorks ends up creating. So having a "cameo" from the world of Madagascar for instance, could possibly happen. Although, the Penguins might work out for the plot but I'll have to see about that.

Otherwise the idea I have I would like the implement characters and themes from the worlds of Kung Fu Panda, How to Train your Dragon, Monsters vs. Aliens, and Megamind and Shrek for starters. Rise of the Guardians would work too, now that I think about it. Yet, I may have to cut off some worlds depending on if it's too much, too many for the scope of the roleplay, the amount of players that even join, and the amount of commitment from the participating players. Also it could be too ambitious or intimidating to even be successful. Of course that doesn't mean every character from the worlds presented have to be in the roleplay. That is really dependent on the players and their choice of character(s) they play as.

On that note, I would encourage players to chose "canon" characters, but OCs won't hurt, especially since the plot of this roleplay does center on an OC Villain to help tie these different worlds together. I mean after all, this is fan fiction. On that subject I will elaborate my thoughts on the potential plot. I was thinking that the roleplay would start from Megamind's dimension, since things like dimensional rifts are a common occurrence in the superhero genre. I figure the chaos would stem from a failed project of his, specifically a machine. One that was designed to help him fight crime not only in Metro City but across the world as well. Yet, in true Megamind fashion, there is a mishap and the device works but not in the way that was expected. Unfortunately it begins to tear open wormholes to other worlds and manages to open one that frees a powerful and evil entity. One that is determined to conquer all realities.

That was the original idea, but then I had the idea of the possibility of shared universes. Like, that Megamind and Monsters vs. Aliens are from the same "Earth." This could have interesting implications, such as how the Government treats the existence of Superheroes and Villains compared to Monsters. The thought being that having secret Government facilities and programs along with monsters and aliens is still common within the superhero genre. So maybe in the aftermath of the plot of MvA, we could see Megamind messing around with Gallaxhar's alien technology(whatever's left of it that is) perhaps Quantonium could be used. Since it seems to be a precious and powerful energy source it could be used to power Megamind's latest device but returning to the original idea that it causes more harm than good.

Plot

*Based on the concept of Final Fantasy: Dissidia, but makes use of multiple franchises instead of just one.

The world, as we know it, is our own special place in the multitude of worlds similar, yet different to our own. This is a story of when Two Worlds, cause a gap in the fabric of reality, and the inevitable chaos that ensues.

Greece, The Temple of the Fates

The Ghost of Sparta, Kratos, embarked on a massive journey to change his fate. After being betrayed by the god, Zeus, Kratos was approached by the Titan, Gaia, as she saved him from near death. She told Kratos that he must find the Sisters of Fate and gain control of his thread. Only by controlling his thread, could Kratos return to the point before the God's betrayal. Setting his mind to this task, Kratos would travel Greece to find the Island of Creation but many dangers awaited him.

After many, many trials and battles, Kratos conquered the treacherous isle. All on his quest to gain an audience with the Sisters, whether they wanted him to or not. He slayed many a monster and enemy that dared stood in the Spartan's path. His legendary strength and violence would not be stopped by such petty interference. Upon reaching the temple Kratos had to face the Sisters themselves. Kratos entered a long, grueling battle with the Sisters, their powers over Fate, tampered with Kratos' own past. Despite their incredible powers, Kratos overcame them and eventually succeeded in taking control of his own Fate.

Before Kratos could travel back through the mirror, at the point of the God's betrayal, Zeus interfered in the attempt. Fearing for his life and his rule of Olympus, he attacked Kratos with his mighty Thunderbolt. Kratos dodged, but the Thunderbolt caused irreconcilable damage to the Loom of Reality...

Azad, The Tower of Dawn

In another world that runs sequentially with Greece, comes another tale of betrayal. The suave and dexterous Prince of Persia, sought to bring honor to himself in his very first battle. He and his father King Sharaman, invaded the Maharajah's Palace with an army of Persians. They were successful and stole many riches, including the fabled Sands of Time. In possession of the Dagger of Time, The Prince was tricked by the very man that had helped them to defeat the Maharajah, The Vizier.

The Vizier tricked The Prince into unleashing the Sands of Time and transformed all within Azad, into monsters. The only ones unaffected where The Prince, The Vizier, and the beautiful Princess Farah. After overcoming many obstacles and foes, The Prince ascended the Tower of Dawn, to reverse the treachery of The Vizier. During the final battle however, Farah fell to her death. Grief stricken, The Prince set to reverse the time flow and prevent all of this catastrophe, but before he could manage it The Vizier intervened.

The Vizier took the Prince by surprise and attacked him. The Prince dodged the attempt and proceeded to counter attack. During their scuffle however, The Hourglass was shattered and the entirety of the Sands were unleashed...

______

As two cataclysmic events occurred, The very Looms of Fate unraveled and caused major damage to to their reality, as rips in space were causing universes to collide. In the midst of this all were the unstoppable power of the Sands of Time as it began to tamper with time itself, for all realities. Time and Space were thrown out of balance and a new tale, was about to begin...

...But, something undisturbed since time immemorial, is stirring once again. It watches from within the shadows, as it secretly plots against all realities. It takes advantage of the distortion between time and space; summoning our heroes's greatest enemies in order to fulfill a dark purpose...

Characters

There are a set of characters that are available for players, but there are rules. The main rule, is that if you do intend to play them, knowledge of the games they are from is highly recommended. Another rule is that you must play as the character's current iteration that I have placed next to their name. i.e. You must play The Prince as he was during the game Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. Some of these characters are overpowered and that is allowed, so long as no one uses it as an excuse to godmod. Just because some characters are superhumanly strong, it doesn't mean they are invincible.

Marvel Universe Roleplay

Note to Self: Must get into contact with The Afterman before initiating!!

A Marvel Universe Roleplay based on the concepts presented in a roleplay I once participated in, Infinite Earths.

The basic idea, is to allow the participating players to assume the role of any character that can be found in the Marvel Universe. Although the roleplay will not follow any of the preestablished canon from any of the comics. The players will be formulating their own stories based on the characters and themes chosen from the Marvel Universe.

An example of what I mean is possible in the realms of this roleplay. Lets say you choose to play as Spider-Man. You can do the normal origin of the character, Peter lost his parents at a very young age, and so was raised by his Aunt May and Uncle Ben in their place. He grew up, not being very popular in school because of his talent and fondness for academics, especially science. As a high schooler, this passion for science led Peter to attend an science expo, where he was bitten by a radioactive spider. The bite transformed Peter's body, giving him the proportionate strength and agility of a spider. At first he believed he could use this talent to become a spectacle and earn some cash. So he designed a costume and a device to launch webs of his own creation and became a novelty act on TV. In an act of indifference he ignores a fleeing thief who goes on to rob from Uncle Ben, killing him in the process. This traumatic event triggers a new sense of responsibility within Peter to dedicate his amazing powers to stopping crime and saving lives.

Of course you do have creative freedoms and do not have to restrict yourself to following the basic canon. For instance you can do little things to tweak it such as, Peter was bitten by a Genetically Altered Spider instead of a Radioactive Spider. Or instead of becoming a Novelty Act, Peter attempted to make use of his superior athleticism in the world of Professional Wrestling. These are just some examples of the literally dozens of tweaks that can be made to your Spider-Man story. Of course there will always be extra points towards originality in creating your origin story.

For example, here's an idea of a tweak that I have for Spider-Man's origins. In the story Uncle Ben's murderer was always unidentified or in some continuities he was named Carradine. Well in my idea, Uncle Ben was murdered by none other than, Marvel's infamous killer, Cletus Kasady. Cletus, being a dangerous and violent psychopath, had no qualms with murdering Uncle Ben for no other reason than simply being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Cletus could have been stopped at an earlier time by Spider-Man when he saw him being pursued by the cops. Peter, like much of today's youth, saw little reason to become involved and allowed Cletus to run right past him, despite how simple and easy the action would be for someone like him. And like the story goes, Peter comes to find that his Uncle was murdered and when he hunted down the criminal responsible he recognized Cletus from before. Instead of blaming Cletus, he blamed himself for he believed that it was his own apathy that led to his Uncle's death. From that day forth, he decided to become a force for good as the Amazing Spider-Man!

So, like I mentioned there are many chances to add touches or changes to anything while still keeping the core essence if you will. And the changes I personally made have some very interesting future implications. Since those who are knowledgeable about Spider-Man lore would understand that Cletus Kasady is the alter ego of the Spider-Man villain, Carnage. So, when Carnage possibly appears in the player's Marvel-verse, it will have even more impact on Spider-Man's story than it would have been if the player decided to follow the basic canon. This is just but one of the many facets of the roleplay that the player can have fun with!

And of course this isn't limit with just one character but with all of the Marvel Universe. So I would encourage players to find interesting twists and turns when they forge their own stories. Myself, I like to personally intertwine things in fun and interesting ways such as the way I gave a stronger connection between Spider-Man and Carnage that is unique compared to other continuities and iterations of the characters and stories.

As for the overall plot of the roleplay? That is difficult to pen down, considering players can choose from literally any character in the Marvel Universe, whether they choose Spider-Man, or Wolverine, or Iron Man, and since we are starting from all of the characters early careers then it's hard to make an linear storyline. The characters are very separated at first, only really coming together in times of great crisis when one Hero is just not enough. After all the Avengers weren't assembled in a day. So it's really players coming together and brainstorming over individual plots together and roleplaying them out. So alot of communication is needed on this one.

Avatar the Last Airbender/Legend of Korra roleplay

Taking place in the large and fantastic world of the Avatar, comes a new story about the greatest challenge any Avatar would ever face. The story takes place a few generations after the adventures of a Avatar Korra where the latest Avatar is a great and powerful Airbender named Duzou. The world has been a relative state of balance and peace compared to the threats seen in Aang's and Korra's days as the Avatar. Yet the rise of new technologies and attitudes have steered the world into a dangerous collision course. Brought about the rise of a tyrannical empire lead by a madman by the name of Kim Bein Seong.

At first it seemed like a warlord arose in the eastern lands of the Earth Kingdom only for it to be blown into a global catastrophe. Kim Bein gained access to a weapon so devastating the very land was left scarred when he launched it. The amount of death and destruction left an undeniable mark upon Duzou's mind. Troubled by this threat, Duzou tried to connect to his past lives, unfortunately his wealth of knowledge was pitiful compared to Aang's. Neither of his past lives could provide enough wisdom to aide in this matter, with only Korra being able to provide any help. This forced Duzou to reconnect with his past lives beyond Korra and through a miracle, a breakthrough was made. Although this was the beginning of the end.

The sudden in flux of knowledge drove Duzou over the edge for he saw in the history of the world that evil like this, will always return. Seeing no end in sight, Duzou did the one thing he believed to be right. In a climatic battle, he and Team Avatar did defeat the insane Kim Bein, but it wasn't enough. Duzou killed Kim Bein in a ruthless display but seeing his aggression unfold he left and disappeared into the mountains. After years of meditation the Avatar returned but it was not a joyous occasion. In the first actions of his return he annihilated a town singlehandedly using the incredible power of the Avatar State. His connection to his past lives made him stronger than any Avatar has ever been. Through the use of Movers this attack was recorded and was managed to be delivered to the President of Republic City. The content was horrifying leaving many to be in a state of disbelief. Yet, Duzou would not stop there, he began to amass followers based on a mindset that in order to save this world much needs to be destroyed and in the ruins shall arise a new empire one dedicated to eternal peace. It was then Avatar Duzou assumed a new name based on his new tattoos, Duzou of the Black Arrow.

With this threat against the world, balance has been through into chaos in the worst possible way. Since the protector of the balance is now the master of a chaos, what hope is there for any to challenge him?

The Elements are dying...this is the stark reality that the mighty wolves of Nigerius face. It is a prophecy of death and destruction that will come to pass if not for the bravery of a few that boldly stand against the coming tide of darkness.

Welcome to Nigerius, a land of unparalleled wilderness and beauty much like our own world, but unlike ours it's land is dominated by great packs of wolves. Packs led by breeds of intelligent wolves that wield the mystical and primal power of the Elements. The Elements are the very source of all power and life in Nigerius as the Wolves once reveled in the splendor and prosperity it brought, once. Today, the Elements are threatened by an unseen, malevolent force that so far is succeeding in polluting the sacred Elements. Why? That is the very question that no one has an answer for.

In the search for answers it ultimately led to the Packs blaming each other resulting in the Great War. It's been many years since the outbreak of warfare and the wolves have grown weary of this prolonged conflict. It is obvious that this war has brought more ruin upon them instead of finding an end to their crisis. So much so, that certain packs are giving complete authority to tyrants and lunatics to finally rid them of the constant bloodshed and destruction.

This unfortunately has become the fate of the mighty Pack of Fire, the Tenneth. The Extremist, Prometheus, now sits as Alpha of the Tenneth and with it's grand army at his disposal there is no telling what mayhem he shall cause. The Forces of Evil are ever growing in power as a wicked plot begins to take hold, seeking to envelope the world in it's ever-lasting darkness. Can our heroes save their beloved homes or will Evil prevail? The answer is up to you.

I am your GM, Seveneleven, and I shall do my damnedest to lead you all through this fantastical world and create one, great, story! First things first, you must create a character! You shall roleplay as a Wolf of Nigerius but what kind of Wolf is up to you. There are Seventeen Official Packs to choose from, not including the smaller, Cousin Packs. You may choose to create up to Four Wolves, all from different packs or perhaps all from the same pack? In order to get started please click on the link provided HERE, and read up on all the Packs, see which one interests you most and then begin to create your character!

In order to make this process a quick and simple one, I have provided with you a basic Character Sheet! Of course it is entirely optional if you want to use this Character Sheet, if you much prefer to fill one of your own creation then, please, be my guest! Once finished, submit it for approval and I shall review it as soon as I can. If your sheet happens to be rejected then please, do not get discouraged! I shall give you my reasons why and allow you the necessary time to make the corrections. So please, take your time and make a character that will make you proud!
