Due to the fact that he might make you feel cold or freeze you, but he can have fun when not busy burying himself in books or trying to get something out of you. A young man was sleeping at the edge of a lake, his intelligent mind was trying to figure out what attracted him to come to Earth. He knew this was a risky trip, but his brothers insisted on coming here. He was awaken by his bird landing gracefully on his head, since his bird was white he shielded his eyes from the light being reflected from the feathers of his pet bird. He smiled a calm and happy smile, but he wouldn't dare touch his bird without a glove on or he would grief everyday and he would never be able to get anything done. Anything he touched had ice spread over it, but his gloves stopped the effect of his touch and he could touch the hands of anyone without hurting them. This young man is the one who governs the Winter season and his name is Christian Orako.

He crouched down at the edge of the water and began dancing over the water with his bare fingers, and his gloves in his other hand. The ice was making a beautiful pattern in the lake, but Christian was too amazed by the beauty of the ice to notice that he was freezing the whole lake. He noticed what he was doing and stopped, since he would want to swim in the water later and he wouldn't be able to swim in a frozen lake. He would come back when the ice on the lake melted, since ice was hard if frozen enough and he wasn't going to try and break out of ice if he was frozen in the water. The cold itself didn't bother him, but the feeling of being trapped bothered him a lot. He thought of something that was genius, since it would be the most beautiful thing he ever made. He took of his gloves once again and he threw a snowball that he made into the water. The snowball caused a splash, but before most of the water could drop back into the lake Christian touched a lot of the splashed water freezing it in place and making a statue out of ice. He would show this to the other seasons later, even if they wouldn't like it one bit.

Christian then went and picked up a jacket and he wrote his name in the water using the ice as his material for writing. He put on his jacket and gloves, hoping to not freeze the jacket in the process. The hood on his jacket was a big enough space for his pet bird to fit, so he let his bird sleep there and he hoped he wouldn't wake his bird up with his constant walking. He was walking at a steady pace towards the town, but he hoped no one would notice that his breath was visible or he hoped that his breath would stop being visible when he reached the town. His white hair was strange and considered to be a genetic disease among most humans, but he didn't see anything wrong with his hair and he did not care what other people said about his hair. He would make a mental note of everything he saw, so he could what to do in specific situations.

Christian walked in the direction of a school, of course not having any idea where to go or what to do. He stopped in front of the school and began thinking over what reasons he would have to get in. After a bit of thinking, he decided that it would be idiotic to go inside without proper identification, since he didn't have enough time to study. He quickly looked around the school, so he could make a map of the town and include a map of the school. He went to a library, since he knew written text usually had the most information and reading would give him knowledge that he could use. He saw a couple of books upon ways to conduct himself, so he picked them up and decided to go the librarian to check the books out. "Excuse me madam, but am I allowed to take out these books?" Christian was analyzing the way the librarian would react, since he would need a base for talking to people. "Yes, but you need to have a card." The librarian was about to ask Christian if he wanted a card, but Christian asked a question first. "How do I get a library card? Oh, I'm sorry for interrupting you." He had planned to interrupt her, so he could see how she would react to the situation Christian made happen. "Just don't do it again. You get a library card by going through a process." The librarian was going to go into detail on how to get a library card, but Christian once again interrupted her. "i'm sorry, but I don't think I have enough time to go through the process." He didn't feel like staying in the library for more time than what was necessary, since he had quite a bit to do. He walked out the library disappointed, since he couldn't get any books to study. He walked towards a cafe, so he could get something to drink. He went into the cafe, but it took him a bit of time making his lack of knowledge seem to be normal. After he managed to get an answer to his questions by using subtle words, and the waitress didn't notice that Christian knew very little about ordering. He ordered coffee, forgetting that it would evaporate as soon as the liquid reached his lips.

He sat down at a table where a girl was sitting already, but he didn't notice the girl and instead he began writing the information he gathered about the town down. When he the information down on a pice of paper, he began playing with his bird and watching it fly around in circles. Many would tell him to not let his bird fly freely, since his bird might leave him and never come back. He didn't feel it necessary to cage the bird, since he thought that the bird should be free to leave if it thought that Christian was treating it badly. "Oh, hello. I'm not bothering you, am I?" He noticed the girl after he finished playing with his bird, so he decided to ask her if he was bothering her. He took a sip of his coffee, while he waited for the girl's response to his question. When the coffee reached his lips, it evaporated into a coffee flavored mist. He hoped the girl hadn't noticed the fact that his coffee evaporated and he decided to not drink any more of the coffee, until he was sure that it was cooled down. He knew how most mortals reacted to his 'abilities' , since mortals were always afraid of things they couldn't understand and they didn't like most things different from them. He expected to be called a monster or something like that, but he just continued playing with his bird.

Sayuri

She slammed through the doors and finally stopped, breathing hard not from exertion, but from shock of what had just happened. She leaned against the gymnasium wall, her hand over her forehead, her eyes wide in ... Confusion. "What the Hell just happened in there ...?" she murmured, dropping to her knees. She closed her eyes and shook her head. "I'm so lost," she whispered, blinking repeatedly in an attempt to understand what was happening to her, and what had just happened inside.

She began to pace.

"Alright, so let's go over what I know. His name is Jackson Orako and I only just met him about an hour ago. He has amazing fighting abilities and speaks in odd ways. He claims that he was home schooled, but he's Japanese and acts as though he's never even seen a school or eaten food here. He has some weird transportation ability ..." she trailed off, looking at the doors to the gymnasium as guilt shot through her. "But he's sweet, kind, and one of the most caring people that I've ever met in my entire life, and he makes me feel the most abnormal of things, which no one has ever made me feel before. He's also extremely handsome, but far too hyper, and is a sappy romantic that believes in love at first sight," she said thoughtfully, rubbing at her temples.

Stifling a sigh, she moved to the doors and shoved them open. "Jackson, I-" she cut off, looking around the empty gym. But this was the only way out ... She quickly shut the doors and, completing dismissing her duties as Student Body President, she took off and out of the school grounds, down the streets of the city, all the while shouting. "Jackson!" she cried, her hands cupped around her mouth. "I'm sorry! I didn't mean it!" she would add on, or variations of it, nearing the outskirts of the city. "Jackson, please! I didn't mean what I said! I'm just confused is all!" she yelled desperately, tears springing to her eyes, but for no apparent reason. She lowered her head and hands in a desolate manner, then turned and kicked the first thing she could come into contact with.

Which was no other then a solid piece of flesh. Her eyes widened and she slowly looked up, grimacing as she saw the large man before her. The Leader of the Black Rapids gang.

Before she could react - for her senses had been dulled from guilt, fear, and her being upset - his hand had shot out and clamped around her throat, easily lifting her off of the ground. He let out a growl, his face near hers, a bump on his head quickly forming. Yet, she found no use in fighting him back, merely grabbed his wrists and stared at him, momentarily slipping into her depressed self.

Kyou

Kyou snapped the newspaper so it would stay open, looking up when her food and shake were delivered. "Thank you," she said, turning back to the newspaper. She frowned, looking over the rim of her paper when some random guy she had never met or seen before, sat down before her, and began to drink his coffee and play with his pet bird as if it were nothing to sit down with some stranger.

She folded her newspaper and fixed a dark gaze on him. "Can I help you?" she asked, her annoyance evident. "Because yes, yes you are bothering me. Don't you know it's rude to sit down with a random stranger and start bothering them? And who in their right of mind owns a bird as a pet? If I were that bird, I'd fly away as soon as you had let me off of my leash. Now go away," she snapped, snatching up her shake and taking a sip.

Christian wasn't careful enough here and he wasn't used to the customs of the world, so he knew he might come off as rude. "Don't you know it's rude to sit down with a random stranger and start bothering them?" She seemed to be 'interesting', but she seemed vicious and she seemed like the type of girl who would rip him apart. He had a lot of ways to respond to the girl, but every way seemed to have too many bad consequences and most of the replies would end with either one or both of them ending up damaged. "This is a predicament, since every response would make me seem like an imbecile. And I do not know how the mannerisms in this country work, so I apologize for being rude." He knew not to try and revolt with malice in his voice, since this could cause more problems and it wouldn't fix any problems. He could try explaining the flaw in her logic, since she was the one who assumed that everyone would know the etiquette in different locations. But he could be wrong and she might not even care about the different formalities in countries, so he might look like an idiot if he tried to use that argument against her. "If I were that bird, I'd fly away as soon as you had let me off of my leash. Now go away," She wouldn't stop being harsh towards him, but he didn't know her history and it would be wrong to assume that she was like this for no reason. "The bird is free to leave whenever it feels I treat it wrong, and I wouldn't dare hurt the bird by putting a leash on it." He was calm when he said all of these replies, so the girl would have no reason to hate him besides the fact that he randomly sat down. "I'll leave on one condition, do you know where the local hospital is at?" Winter could be cold towards people, but he decided to not to attack verbally until he figured out the reason the girl was mean towards him. He was interested in the girl, since she didn't treat him differently due to him being 'different'. Usually people acted differently towards him when they saw that he could freeze anything with his touch, but the girl treated him as she would anyone else and he enjoyed not being treated differently. He had an interest in helping people, so he decided that a place where healing takes place would be the easiest place to start. He was not scared of the girl, since he had no reason to be afraid of the girl. He appeared to be staring at nothing in specific, but he was prepared to study the response the girl would give him and his increased eyesight would help him notice any body language.

Kyou"The bird is free to leave whenever it feels I treat it wrong, and I wouldn't dare hurt the bird by putting a leash on it."

Kyou snorted in amusement. This guy is beyond weird. I mean, really ...

When he asked about where the hospital was, her face flushed, her jaw clenched, and the plastic cup with her shake in it explode as her hand clenched around it. The cold, sticky mush that was her shake spilled down and over her hand, dripping on the table. She didn't even really seem to realize that she had done this, her eyes locked on his. She fixed a glare on him and shot up, chucking the cup in a nearby trash can. "Are you making fun of me?" she growled out, her eyes fiery with anger. She slammed her hand down on the table and leaned in close, her nose almost touching his. "What the Hell do you know?" she snapped out, her eyes dark with fury. "And how did you find out?"

She flicked her eyes up and saw several people staring at them, causing her to then grab his arm roughly and go to drag him from the cafe. "I am not speaking to you here," she snapped, casting him a glare as she turned and walked into a nearby alley, obviously expecting him to follow. With her back in his direction, she crossed her arms.

"What do you want? How much money do you want to keep quiet?" she almost snarled.

Christian was a bit hurt when the girl snorted in amusement, but he wouldn't let it show. He was a bit surprised when the girl's face flushed, jaw clenched, and when she almost broke the cup. He didn't know what he had done, so he was baffled as to what he had done to get her so flustered. He regained his composure quickly and began analyzing the sudden event, so he now knew that she had something to do with a hospital and perhaps she worked there. No, that couldn't be it, he had no idea what to make of it and his genius mind wasn't helping him figure out what was wrong. For once in his life, he didn't know what to do and this perplexed him even more than her sudden outburst did. "Um, you have some mush on you." He still had no idea how to reply and he noticed that she didn't notice that she dripped a liquid on to the table, so he wondered if he somehow offended her or something like that. She was glaring at him and this was making him uncomfortable, but he decided it would be best to try and sort out this problem or risk it becoming a bigger problem. "are you making fun of me?" She was growling, so he decided to respond honestly and not get into any more trouble than what he was apparently in. "Que?…… What?" He answered in spanish, since he was still a bit confused as to what happened and he did this when something he couldn't understand popped up. He made sure to say what he said in english, but he only remembered to translate it after he noticed that she might not have spoken spanish. What the Hell do you know? And how did you find out?" Her eyes were looking at him with a fury, but he calmed down and tried seeing the situation from her perspective.

Christian noticed several people looking at the two and he thought of how weird it must look to them, but their glances didn't bother him one bit due to more pressing matters requiring his full attention. "I am not speaking to you here" She snapped, still having a glare directed towards him. He had no response to this and instead he waited for something to happen. She walked into an alley, so he decided it would be best for him to follow. He wondered how he got himself into this mess, when all he wanted to do was show his bird friend around the town and read a couple of books. She was still not facing him and her arms were crossed or at least he thought they were, but he couldn't really tell due to her back facing him.

"What do you want? How much money do you want to keep quiet?" She was about to snarl, so he decided to try and calm her down. He needed to figure out what he did and apologize. "Look, I'm sorry for whatever I did." He said this without taking note of her asking him how much money he wanted to keep quiet. That is until he noticed she asked him how much money he wanted. When she asked that, he was feeling really stupid and he thought that she was bribing him or something like that. He wondered why she was angry when he mentioned a hospital, since it would be normal to ask for the locations of buildings. "I don't want money, all I wanted was to go the hospital. I thought that maybe I could be of use there, so I have no idea what is happening and quite frankly I'm a bit confused as to what I did. Is it rude to ask for directions in this place, as well as it being rude to sit down next to strangers?" He honestly didn't understand how the town he was in worked, so he assumed that he was being rude or something like that. He hoped that his latest words wouldn't cause the girl to get any more mad than she already was, since he might have to touch her with his gloveless hand to calm her down. He had his bird on his shoulder and he was prepared to shield it, since he cared deeply for his bird's safety. "If I did anything wrong, then only punish me and don't hurt my bird."

Kyou

"Look, I'm sorry for whatever I did. I don't want money, all I wanted was to go the hospital. I thought that maybe I could be of use there, so I have no idea what is happening and quite frankly I'm a bit confused as to what I did. Is it rude to ask for directions in this place, as well as it being rude to sit down next to strangers?"

Kyou stiffened, her eyes narrowing, and she rounded on him. She lifted her hand and pulled in a large, deep gulp of air, beyond ready to give him the lashing of a lifetime, and be relentless in the process. But something about him made her pause. Perhaps it was the expression on his face, or the helpless, uncertain aura he gave off. Or perhaps it was the fact that he seemed to love his bird so very much, and seemed to only want to help people. Her glare gentled until she was merely staring at him, almost in awe, her hand seeming to be frozen in the air.

"If I did anything wrong, then only punish me and don't hurt my bird." Why do you seem so eager to give yourself harm in exchange for your bird? she wondered, staring at him with surprise evident in her gaze. She looked away from him then back at his face, before shaking her head and sighing. For some odd reason, she felt almost ... Guilty for yelling at him. She'd never felt guilty for hurting another person unless it was a child, not at any time throughout her entire life.

Finally, she sighed and turned away. "Sorry," she said gruffly. "Come on, I'll show you where the hospital is," she muttered, starting down the alley. "And no, it isn't rude to sit down with strangers. I'm just a bitchy person and I don't like people, especially new people," she said, scratching her head in a bit of embarrassment. She suddenly rounded on him as they reached the end of the alley. "You absolutely can not tell anyone that I helped and apologized to you," she said, before spinning back around and walking in the direction of the hospital.

Christian was certain that he was going to have to fight and he was prepared to get his bird to a safe location, but luckily for him the girl didn't want to fight after hearing his explantation. He guessed that perhaps he stumbled upon a mental land mine, so he decided to be more careful about what he talked about. He wondered how she could transition from being ready to punch him, to staring at him in awe with her hand appearing to be stuck in mid air. He thought that perhaps she was in a sort of shock, but he had not read about shock being caused by such a strange situation like the one she was in.

She seemed surprised that he would so easily take his bird's place, but he thought it would be normal to want to protect the things you love and he loved his bird. She looked away and back, but he had no idea what to make of anything now and his genius was not helping him even with the calculations he was making every second that passed. He felt like a child and he was pretty sure that he gave the impression of being a child, but he didn't mind as long as his bird was safe and sound. He wondered what his brothers would have done in his place, but he quickly returned his attention to the girl so he wouldn't seem rude by ignoring her. He wondered what she would be like if they met under different circumstances, but he didn't have much time to think about that considering she apologized.

"Sorry," She said this gruffly, but he didn't think that it would be possible to have a voice like that and a beautiful body as well. He dismissed those thoughts, since he needed to be paying to attention to her and not her body. Come on, I'll show you where the hospital is," She muttered this, while starting down the alley. "Thank you." He really didn't have much to say, since there wasn't anything to stop the situation from being awkward for the both of them. He decided it would be best to not show her his power, unless a situation absolutely called for it and he was pretty sure it would take a fire or someone threatening their lives for him to use his powers. "And no, it isn't rude to sit down with strangers. I'm just a bitchy person and I don't like people, especially new people," She was scratching her head and being a bit embarrassed, but he didn't think embarrassment was an emotion the girl could feel. "I wont judge you based on first impressions, since there are a lot variables that I haven't taken into the equation." He found himself learning new things everyday, but this made him happy instead of making him sad. He was a bit taken back by her suddenly turning around, since he thought he did something to anger her, again. "You absolutely can not tell anyone that I helped and apologized to you," She said this and spun back around, continuing in the direction of the hospital. "I'm new here, so I doubt I would have anyone to tell." He could tell his brothers, but he doubted they would be interested in someone he just met and he would much rather hear their stories. He never held hate towards anyone, unless he knew the full story or they threatened to hurt his friends and family.

Sayuri

Sayuri fixed a slightly more frightened gaze on the man that held her, realization suddenly entering her mind. Her lips were turning blue and her face was becoming red, her struggles becoming weaker and weaker.

Then, she heard it; a voice, shouting, a few streets away. It was clear as day, however, and she coughed and gagged a little, the voice giving her a bit of hope that the man wouldn’t succeed. When he appeared at the end of the alleyway, the hope surged, but she was quickly growing dizzy and light headed. Dots splashed across her vision and she wheezed, her kicks far too weak to even be felt at this point.

”Hands off my woman,” she heard, the voice a snarl. She flicked her pink eyes over to Jackson. [/n]”Hands off of her,”[/b] he demanded, his voice cold. She felt a chill sweep across her skin, causing her white and red skin to pepper with goose bumps. And then, he was there, somehow wrenching the leader’s hand away from her throat, his opposite hand stopping the leader’s other hand from connecting with his face. She dropped to the ground with a soft thud and laid there in an attempt to regain her breath, her color – very slowly – returning.

When she finally recovered enough to see clearly, she pushed herself up onto her hands and knees. She looked up in time to see the leader flying through the wall. Her eyes widened in shocked as the bricks completely crumbled as soon as he made contact with the wall. He was almost immediately immersed in the wall, half-hanging out of it. Jackson’s words echoed through her mind.

”I said. Hands. Off. My. Woman.”

Despite what had just happened to her, a soft thrill slid through her body, causing her to regain her color a bit more quickly, especially in her cheeks. Her throat was quickly bruising, however, and rubbed at her neck, coughing a little as Jackson approached her. When he patted her head, she frowned a little, and then looked up at him. She turned her head and stared at the man through the wall, before turning back to Jackson.

”Hey, Sayuri-chan. You okay? I’m sorry if I was late, but I’m glad that you’re just fine.”

Sayuri stared at him, her eyes wide, and she grabbed his arm out of nowhere. “Jackson,” she rasped out, her throat scratching, and she suddenly pulled him down. Her arms went around his neck and she clutched herself against him, more tears springing to her eyes. “I was so scared … Thank God you showed up …” she whispered, closing her eyes, thick tears dropping from her face and onto his shoulder. “I’m so sorry that I said those things. I was confused and I didn’t understand … I’m so sorry,” she sobbed out, hiding her face in his shoulder. “Please, please forgive me …”

Kyou

Kyou could see the hospital at this point, and she looked over at the boy, her eyes narrowed slightly as she studied him. Yes, he was attractive, but there was something … Off about him, something almost surreal, and something that didn’t belong in a normal human being. She frowned. There’s something wrong with this boy …

She slowed to a stop as they reached the hospital, and crossed her arms, turning to face him. “Well, this is it,” she said, looking over at the building. She was quiet for a moment, then turned her gaze back to him. “My name is Kyou, Kyou Fujubayashi. It was … Nice meeting you,” she said, rubbing her arm uncertainly. “Once again, I’m sorry about before. I was in a bad mood and I sort of lashed out at you,” she mumbled.

She didn’t know what it was, but this boy somehow made her want to actually be … Kinder. More open, and not be the normal bitch that she is. She frowned again, looking at the hospital. “On second thought, seeing as you haven’t been in this country before, I should probably help you with the people inside, shouldn’t I?” she asked, for some odd reason wishing to spend more time around this boy. She turned and made her way into the hospital, approaching the receptionist with a smile. “Hello Hira, I’m just stopping in to see the children. I brought a friend with today,” she said. The woman looked shocked and stared at Christian as Kyou led the way around the counter and down the hall, in the direction of the elevators. “You’re going to love the children,” she said, smiling brightly at the thought of seeing the children. “They’re so sweet and innocent,” she gushed, pressing the button to summon the elevator.

Christian saw the outline of a building and the duo was heading towards it, so he thought that that building must have been a hospital. He thought that perhaps he should skim through a medical manual quickly and absorb all the information in it, since his eyes would be useful in helping him read the manual quickly. He didn't think he was attractive and he knew he wasn't unattractive, and his strange hair color made it easy for people to pick him out in crowds. People usually thought that he dyed his hair or something silly like that, but Christian wouldn't do that and he replied to the stares people gave him by telling them that his hair was always white. He liked children and not in a strange way, he liked them since they were innocent like the color white and they were not subjected to the cruel reality of the world. He could easily be cold-hearted and analytic when necessary, but for the most time he was a calm and happy person who enjoyed doing good deeds.

He kept on walking when the girl stopped, but he quickly noticed she stopped and he walked back towards the location the girl was at. He had been thinking about things and he was not really paying much attention, so it would be predictable that he wouldn't notice the girl stopping. She crossed her arm and faced him, but he didn't know what to make of any gestures made by the girl anymore. "Well, this is it" He glanced at the building and noticed all of the details, from how many windows it had to how how it was built. "My name is Kyou, Kyou Fujubayashi. It was … Nice meeting you," She was rubbing her arm uncertainly, so he thought that she was perhaps trying to figure out what Christian was like or something like that. He was about to reply, but he thought it would be better to let her finish talking. " Once again, I'm sorry about before. I was in a bad mood and I sort of lashed out at you," She was mumbling this, so he thought that it was hard for her to apologize. "It's fine, I probably should've been more careful and observant of mannerisms in this country." He thought it would be best to apologize, even if he didn't understand what he did. He knew that people usually tried venting out their anger on others, even if they didn't want to originally. He did not regret trying to understand the full story, since the scenario would have been different if he hand not waited until the girl explained why she lashed out at him. She didn't say why she lashed out, but he was smart enough to guess that it was probably anger being pent up or embarrassment. He did not know her enough to make a correct assumption, so he wouldn't tell her what he tried figuring out.

"On second thought, seeing as you haven't been in this country before, I should probably help you with the people inside, shouldn't I?" She was frowning when she said this, but he was happy to be able to spend more time with the girl. "That would be most helpful, and I wouldn't mind the company." He hoped that he could be of some use with the children, since he thought they might be amused at the 'magic' he could do. Children always thought he was a wizard or something like that, he didn't mind showing them what he could do and brightening their days by showing them the way ice spreads over surfaces. When they passed the receptionist, the girl sitting there seemed to be surprised. "Hello madam, I hope I'm not interfering. I heard the weather was going to be wild lately." He was smiling a calm smile, while telling this to the receptionist. He followed Kyou as she led the way to the the elevators, since she would know the way around the hospital. "You're going to love the children," She was smiling when she said this, so he thought she took having fun with children as seriously as Christian did. "I enjoy playing with children. They are pure as snow and that they have the same capacity to become anything as the color white does." He knew that white was a perfect canvas and that it could be changed into any other color. Children usually enjoyed playing with Christian's bird and his bird enjoyed playing with children, so Christian always brought his bird along with him. "They're so sweet and innocent," She gushed and he was excited to meet children, since it would be quite enjoyable to bring a little bit of light into their world. "Oh, I'm sorry, I forgot to tell you my name. My name is Christian Orako, it's a pleasure to meet you Kyou." He extended his hand with a glove on it towards Kyou, since this seemed to be a way of greeting someone. His other hand that was gloveless, was making a bit of ice spread on the wall. Christian didn't notice the ice spreading on the wall, since he was looking forward to meeting the children.

Kyou

"I enjoy playing with children. They are as pure as snow and that they have the same capacity to become anything as the color white does."

Kyou looked over her shoulder at Christian, a small smile on her face. "That is a great way to explain what they are like. "They are relative to change and easily susceptible to being pressured to change. However, it is our duty as their elders to guide them," she said logically, formally, before she looked forward again. She tapped her foot and looked at the elevator, waiting for the soft ding that would signal it's arrival.

"Oh, I'm sorry, I forgot to tell you my name. My name is Christian Orako, it's a pleasure to meet you Kyou."

Her brow rose and she looked at him. "It's nice to meet you, Christian. I really do like that name," she added thoughtfully, moving into the elevator is it made it's soft ding and the doors slid away. She paused, however, and looked over at him. "By the way, where are you from, anyway? I don't recognize your accent," she said, her gaze questioning. For a moment, she watched him,then turned back to enter the elevator, only to stop and slowly turn back. She moved over to where his hand was and grabbed his wrist around his jacket sleeve, pulled his hand from the wall, and stared at the sheets of ice covering it.

"How is that even possible?" she murmured, her eyes narrowed. She kept a firm hold on his wrist, making her way down the hall then back up it to the elevator. She stopped in the elevator doors and tapped her foot at him, her narrowed gaze fixated on his. "You have some explaining to do," she informed him, before pulling him into the elevator and pressing the Close Doors button. They immediately swished shut, and she released his arm, turning to face him with her own arms crossed firmly over her chest. "How did you do that? And don't try to pass it off as some sort of a magic trick, when that was impossible. The wall was frozen solidly over in the places you touched it. Now, explain," she said.

Christian was enjoying spending time with the girl and he was looking forward to meeting children, so he could have fun with them and do 'magic' to entertain them. , it is our duty as their elders to guide them," She seemed to still be smiling, so he was also smiling. "I agree, but I'm not sure I could be much of an influence, besides helping them become more intelligent and still enjoy life." He knew he was a genius, but he didn't rub it in people's faces and he instead helped those who were not as intelligent as him. He was happy she didn't mention his white hair, since it would only halt their progress towards getting to the children. It's nice to meet you, Christian. I reeled o like that name," The elevator made it's soft ding and the doors slid apart, but he wasn't used to this. He didn't let his newness show, since it could cause 'unwanted' questions to be asked. She paused and he was worried, since he thought she may have connected the dots on him and that he may have to come up with an alias. He quickly thought of a fake history, by mixing histories of characters in books he read. "By the way, where are you from, anyway? I don't recognize your accent," Her gaze was questioning and Christian was tremendously scared on the inside, but he wouldn't let it show physically and he managed to put on the facade of being calm. "Europe, I was raised in a secluded area." He hoped his fake story would explain his not knowing of the many mannerisms of this country and he was amazed at how fast he could com up with a fake story. He didn't know how his 'brothers' would react to him accidentally letting the fact that he was a season slip.

She moved on to where Christian's hand was and pulled his hand away from the wall, then he noticed the sheet of ice on the wall. His face lost color and he was mentally shutting down, that is until she pulled him towards the elevator. She started tapping her feet and had a narrow gaze fixed upon him, so he guessed he would have to reveal his secret. "You have some explaining to do," She seemed determined to figure out how he make the wall freeze, so he instinctively tried changing into a blizzard to escape and failed due to it not being cold enough in the elevator. He was wondering what to do or what to say, but no words would come out of his mouth and he had no idea how to respond to her question. He felt like a child who was caught stealing from a cookie jar, but he had no idea why he was affected so much by being seen by the girl. All the times he was caught before, he could manage to keep calm, cool, and collect. He couldn't figure out why this time was different, but his heart started beating and he figured out why he was so affected by this girl. He was developing feelings towards her, he mentally face-palmed and wondered why she was so attractive for him. "How did you do that? And don't try to pass it off as some sort of magic trick, when that was impossible. The wall was frozen solidly over in the places you touched it. Now, explain," She wanted to know how he could do that, so he sighed and seemed sad. He thought she wouldn't want to be his friend, since he could do such 'strange' things. He was conflicting mentally, due to him wondering what would happen if he told her who and what he was.

I should't tell her, it'll probably be better if I just disappear forever and never come back. No, no, no, I can't be governed by these simple laws. I think I'm actually developing feelings for her, but she may think I'm a monster. He was unsure of what to do in the situation presented to him. Actually, It doesn't matter anymore, I might as well tell her who and what I am. It would have probably ended this way anyways. He was thinking these thoughts, due to him reading human history and seeing how people treated those who were different.

"I was kind of hoping to be able to pretend that I wasn't a season and make friends, but I guess the secret is out now. I do not know why you seeing what I can do is affecting me so much, but I guess that I'm developing feelings for you." He took off his gloves and laid them down on the ground, then he drew his name in the side of the elevator and he was solemnly smiling due to him thinking that his chances of the girl not thinking of him differently were low. "I'm a season, son of the Moon and the Sun. I represent Winter, as you can see I can allow ice to spread over any surface I touch. I have other 'abilities', but I can't use them at the moment. Please, do not stop being a friend towards me, I know I'm a bit different, but please do not treat me differently now that you know what I am." His voice was emotionless and he was visibly sad, but he was still hoping that the girl wouldn't treat him any different due to him being a season. He may or may night get slapped, due to him thinking such pessimistic thoughts. He thought of the girl as a friend, even if she wouldn't approve of him being her friend.

Kyou

"I was kind of hoping to be able to pretend that I wasn't a season and make friends, but I guess the secret is out now. I do not know why you seeing what I can do is affecting me so much, but I guess that I'm developing feelings for you." At that point, he removed his gloves and laid them on the ground. She watched as he then drew his name in the side of the elevator. He seemed so ... Sad. Her heart tugged a little. "I'm a season, son of the Moon and the Sun. I represent Winter, as you can see I can allow ice to spread over any surface I touch. I have other 'abilities', but I can't use them at the moment. Please, do not stop being a friend towards me, I know I'm a bit different, but please do not treat me differently now that you know what I am."

This just became way too weird for me to even comprehend. How is that even possible? It's not. Of course it isn't! He's just playing some sort of joke ... But he doesn't seem like the type of person to do that sort of thing ... And besides, it wouldn't have been possible to cause the ice to appear and become so solid and cold. It's too warm in the hospital to do it without some supernatural means. What to do ...

She frowned again and turned away, rubbing at the bridge of her nose as a slight headache began to grow in her head. Alright, Kyou, stay calm. Go over what you know about him. She held up her hand and began to tick things off on her fingers. He claims that he is the personification of Winter itself and was born to the Sun and the Moon. Okay, that's one. He can control ice and no doubt other cold substances, due to the season he can control. Alright, two. He's also kind to a fault and loves children, and from what he's said, knowledge and learning. Alright, that's three things. Now, do I believe him, and if I do, what do I think of his confession?

Kyou finally turned and faced him, her lips pursed in thought. "Okay," she said, quietly, almost too quiet to hear. She cleared her throat and spoke again. "I believe you," she nodded, looking at the wall over his shoulder for a moment then back at him. "And you don't need to look so depressed and somber, because I don't hate you. I'm actually glad that you consider me to be a friend, even though we've only known each other for about twenty minutes. Besides, it's not like everyone you meet is going to judge you on what you can do. I think it's pretty ... Cool," she said, smirking at her little joke pertaining to his powers. "You're a sweetheart, why would anyone stop being friends with you just because you're different? People call me the anti-social, emo, goth-girl that's also a bitch and might be a vampire, but I don't care," she said, waggling her finger in his face. She tapped his nose and stepped back as the elevator stopped to let five people on. She moved back over to him, the elevator a bit cramped and her being pressed into his wide. They stopped again, and three people got off. Another stop, and the last two left. They had two floors to go. She turned back to him. "Christian, I'm not going to stop being your friend just because you aren't necessarily ... Human ... I didn't even realize we were friends until you asked me to remain one to you. But I will remain as your friend," she said, smiling at him. For some odd reason, something about him uplifted her spirits. "Just consider yourself lucky that I didn't try and make you cry the first time I saw you."

Christian was extremely embarrassed and he was tearing himself up on the inside, but he wasn't going to let that show. He was literally screaming inside of his mind, since he just admitted that he was developing feelings and he didn't mention what type of feelings he had. He thought that she may assume the feeling were romantic, but he didn't even understand his feeling enough to tell what they were. He calmed down and decided to get his thought together, since this was uncharacteristic of him and he needed to get his thoughts unscrambled. Okay, this girl is beautiful. Wait, what am I thinking? Anyways, she seems to be able to get a reaction out of me, while others can barely get a sign of emotions. She was honest and straight to the point, well, I might have to wait a bit before I can make any assumptions. I hope she forgets about my 'confession', since that slipped out without me knowing it slipped out. HIs thoughts were beginning to make sense now and he was actually able to connect many of the dots, since he was not able to before due to him being extremely excited to meet the children.

He noticed her frowning and thinking, so he wasn't going to interrupt and he instead put on his gloves. He didn't want to accidentally freeze anything, since it would be hard to explain and he could let he ice he made melt She turned and faced him, but she appeared to not be in deep thought anymore. "Okay," She said this quietly, but it managed to bring him out of his thoughts and make him pay attention. "Huh?" He was still registering many of the things, but he managed to regain his composure and pay attention to the girl. "And you don't need to look so depressed and somber, because I don't hate you." She cleared her throat before she said this, so he thought she was going to make quite a big speech. He was about to say something, but he decided to wait until she finished speaking. " I'm actually glad that you consider me to be a friend, even though we've only known each other for about twenty minutes. Besides, it's not like everyone you meet is going to judge you on what you can do. I think it's pretty … Cool," She made a joke, so he smiled a bit and he was happy that she managed to lighten the mood. "You're a sweetheart, why would anyone stop being friends with you just because you're different? People call me the anti-social, emo, goth-girl that's also a bit and might be a vampire, but I don't care." "I don't think vampires are real, well at least I haven't encountered any. Isn't segregation a problem in human society? I've read history books pertaining to things like that, so I guess the knowledge I have is probably outdated." She waggled her finger in his face, but he once again had no idea what this meant. She tapped his nose, so he blushed a bit. He was able to quickly get over his embarrassment and stop blushing, since he didn't her notice him blushing. Five people stepped into the elevator when it stopped, so she moved over to him and was pressed into him as the the elevator became cramped. His breath was cold and it had no distinct smell, due to him not eating anything earlier and the coffee he was going to drink evaporating. "Christian, I'm not going to stop being your friend just because you aren't necessarily human … I didn't even realize we were friends until you asked me to remain one to you. But I will remain as your friend," She was smiling when she said this. Christian was staring at her face, but he then noticed that he was staring and he stopped staring, since she might find it offensive. "Just consider yourself lucky that I didn't try and make you cry the first time I saw you." He was happy that she didn't try to make him cry, since he wouldn't have been able to get a new friend. "Hey, is there a reason people keep on asking me if I 'dye' my hair? I have no idea what dyeing is, does the word have a different meaning besides being killed?" His white hair usually made people wonder if he dyed his hair, but he didn't even know what dye was or what is was used for. He decided he would spend more time in the library, even if the process would be long. For now though, he was going to entertain the children .

Kyou

"I don't think vampires are real, well at least I haven't encountered any. Isn't segregation a problem in human society? I've read history books pertaining to things like that, so I guess the knowledge I have is probably outdated. Hey, is there a reason people keep on asking me if I 'dye' my hair? I have no idea what dyeing is, does the word have a different meaning besides being killed?"

Kyou turned to him just as the elevator doors opened. She stepped through and gave him a look, before laughing a little. "First of all, vampires are definitely not real, they're just a fairy tale, and the only reason that people call me that is to try and get to me since I'm such a bitch to them. Second of all, segregation?" she burst out laughing, shaking her head. "Segregation hasn't been a problem since the mid-1900's. Yes, there's still racism, and yes, there are people who try their best to make people who look, think, or act different, just want to leave or, even worse, die. However, segregation isn't a problem during this day and time, so I think you're okay. As for your hair color, it's merely an odd color to have for hair. The only people that a person ever sees with white hair, is someone with a genetic fault, such as people that are albino. Only, that includes having red eyes," she said logically, starting down the hall.

"Dyeing your hair is when you mix together certain chemicals and wash them through your hair, causing it to become a different color. You can also get highlights, which is merely taking strands of your hair and dyeing them a certain color," she told him, pausing before a pair of doors.

They were see-through and, when looked through, revealed rows of beds with a child lying in each one. Most were hooked up to machines by different tubes and were either sickly and pale, thin and green, or a mixture of all. They were obviously ill, and many were bald, but despite all this, several had parents, friends, siblings, or at least one person that knew them beside their beds. She looked over at Christian. "Prepare yourself, a lot of them aren't well enough to even sit up," she said. She pushed open the doors and strode in, and immediately many children perked up and smiled. "Kyou-chan," one called out, her voice slightly hoarse. Kyou smiled and made her way over to the child. "Hello, Hilly," she said, petting the girl's hand. "Are you having fun with your new doll I brought you last week?" she asked, smiling at the girl. She whipped up the doll and hugged it to her face. "I named her Sandy. Isn't she pretty?" Hilly gushed, smiling brightly at Kyou. Her eyes widened when she saw Christian. "Kyou-chan! Whose that man? He's really handsome. He has cool hair, too!" she cried, lifting her hand to wave eagerly at him. "Hi-hi! My name's Hilly, what's yours?" she asked.

Christian saw that the girl laughed at his mention of vampires, but he had no idea why she laughed about something as serious as vampires. He was however confused at the lore of vampires, since different authors have different lore for vampires and occasionally the stories made for vampires conflicted. "First of all, vampires are definitely not real, they're just a fairy tale, and the only reason that people call me that is to try and get to me since I'm such a bitch to them. Second of all, segregation?" She told him that vampires were fairy tales, so that cleared up the reason that vampires were portrayed so differently and he was happy that she bothered to explain that to him. However, when she laughed about segregation, he was confused. "Segregation hasn't been a problem since the mid-1900's. Yes, there's still racism, and yes, there are people who try their best to make people who look, think, or act different, just want to leave or, even worst die. He was embarrassed, since his knowledge was outdated and he was looking as if he didn't know much about history. He calmed down, since he noted that there was no chance for him to catch up on human history and he had a valid excuse for not knowing. "However, segregation isn't a problem during this day and time, so I think you're okay. He was never worried about this, since he didn't care what most people thought or did to him and he knew that he could easily leave or escape anything. It was pretty hard to kill Christian, since he knew a lot about the human body and how to knock people out by pressing a couple of points on the body. He preferred quick and clean knockouts, since he didn't like senseless killing and he didn't want to be responsible for a death. "As for your hair color, it's merely an odd color to have for hair. The only people that a person ever sees with white hair, is someone with a genetic fault, such as people that are albino. Only, that includes having red eyes.," He was taking in this information and putting it side by side with the information he had from reading books, and a lot of the information matched up perfectly with the information he had and she helped fill in some holes in the information he had. "Dyeing your hair is when you mix together certain chemicals and wash them through your hair, causing it to become a different color. You can also get highlights, which is merely taking strands of your hair and dyeing them a certain color," She told him this as they stopped in front of a pair of double doors. "Isn't it dangerous to mix chemicals with your hair? Or have humans evolved to the point of ignoring chemicals altogether. Wait, nevermind. Humans wouldn't use chemicals that could damage them." He didn't know that some people did use chemicals that would damage them, since he only knew what he read in books and none of the books he read mentioned people ingesting harmful chemicals.

The doors were see-through and he saw the children lying in rows of beds. When he saw the children there, he seemed saddened. But, that expression was replaced by a determination to help the children be happy. He saw a challenge in this, so he was going to make the children happy and hopeful. Even if it took him the whole day, but he had all the time in the world. He felt his faith in the human race restored, when he saw that there were parents, friends, siblings, and acquaintances by the children. "Prepare yourself, a lot of them aren't well enough to even sit up," She said that as she pushed open the doors and strode in, and a lot of the children p irked up as soon as she walked in. "Damn it, why can't I use my power to heal others." He mumbled this under his breath, but he decided to not make the children scared by looking angry. "Kyou-chan," A little girl called out, and Christian could tell her voice was hoarse. Kyou smiled and made her way towards the child, so Christian followed behind her. He was smiling calmly, since he was happy to see the children still hanging on to their life. "Hello, Hilly," Kyou was petting the girl's hand, so he thought that Kyou was a good person. "Are you having fun with your new doll I brought you last week?" Kyou asked that, while still smiling and Christian was not surprised by Kyou's selflessness. "I named her Sandy. Isn't she pretty?" The girl brought out a doll and hugged it to her face, so Christian thought that the doll was important to the girl. He was surprised to see the girl's eyes widen, but then he noticed that she was staring at him. "Kyou-chan! Whose that man? He's really handsome. He has cool hair, too!" She lifted her hand and waved at Christian, so Christian waved back at the young girl. He was smiling the biggest smile he has smiled in a long time, since the young girl complimented him and she seemed to be so innocent. "Hi-hi! My name's Hilly, what's yours?" She asked this to Christian and Christian wanted to answer honestly to any questions the young girl may have. "Hello Hilly, my name is Christian Orako. I'm a friend of Kyou, and thank you for complimenting my hair." He crouched down when he said this, so he could be at the same level as the girl. "Look, and I'll show you magic." He whispered this in her ear and he began using his gloveless hand to make a statue of a bird out of ice. He did this in front of the young girl and awaited her response to his 'magic'.

Sayuri

"Need a reason to love!"

Sayuri skid to a stop as she heard his shout, and the following thud of his answer. She almost tripped in her hurry to stop, then spun around, her hand firmly holding down the turtle. She raised a brow at him, snorting at his theatrics.

"Ouch! it hurts! Damn it, it hurts like hell!"

She snorted again in amusement before moving over beside his writhing body. She grabbed a stray stick and crouched before him,her arms on her knees and Greg on her head, looking at him with a laughing expression. She lifted the stick, stopped him with a hand to his shoulder, and easily began to poke his arm. "You do realize I'm not buying it, right? I can see right through you. If you're going to try and make me fall in love with you, deception isn't the key, dummy. Besides, you may be a good actor to everyone else, but to me, I can see right through it," she said with a smirk.

She flung the stick away and went down to her knees beside him, smiling down at his face. She gently pulled Greg from her hair and settled him on his master's chest. "So, you need a reason to love huh?" she asked incredulously. She leaned down and, tucking her hair behind her ear, gently kissed him. She then leaned back up and smiled sweetly down at him. "I'm sorry you fell and hit your face," she said, lifting her thumb to gently wipe away a thin trail of blood that had begun down from the corner of his lips, "But I know you were faking it."

Kyou

"Hello Hilly, my name is Christian Orako. I'm a friend of Kyou, and thank you for complimenting my hair. Look, and I'll show you magic."

Kyou quirked up a brow, smiling as Christian crouched to the girl's level, so he was looking evenly with Hilly. She barely caught the last part, which he had leaned in close to whisper in the little girl's ear, but she pretended not to hear and gave them a puzzled look. She watched as Christian lifted his hand, which had no glove on it, and slowly the air grew colder. Kyou cast a nervous look around them to make sure that no one had noticed, then turned back, only to find a beautifully sculpted ice bird in his palm. He held it out to Hilly, who's mouth had opened in a silent 'O' of awe, and Kyou smiled.

"It's so pretty! How'd you do that?" she squealed in delight, placing Sandy in her lap. She eagerly snatched up the bird and held it up near her face, before placing it on the table beside her bed, due to it being too cold for her to hold. She turned back to Christian and stared at him in what could only be admiration. "Can you teach me how to do that?"

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"I'll stop by tomorrow to see you all. I'll bring treats," Kyou called into the room. A chorus of tired goodbyes were her answer, and she led Christian from the room. It was time for the children to take their afternoon naps, and Kyou was more then happy to make sure they did so that they would become well sooner then normal.
She made her way down the hallway until they reached the elevators, where she then stopped to wait for it to appear after she pressed the button. "So what did you think of the children?" she asked, leaning back against the wall beside the elevator, her hands behind her bottom as she peered up at him. "I have the rest of my day free. I was supposed to meet my best friend, Sayuri, to work on a project, but she texted me earlier saying she was running late and wouldn't be able to work on it today," she explained. "Is there anywhere else I can take you to?" she offered, palming her wallet. "I have to stop by the library and check out some books for school, and then I was going to go to a local restaurant for lunch. Why don't I treat you to some food, seeing as you're new here?" she asked, smiling at him. "So long as you're willing to put up with sitting in the library for a little while," she warned.
He was enjoying talking to the young girl, since she seemed to be a child who enjoyed magic and fairy tales, but to be honest Christian enjoyed reading fairy tales as well. He had a childish smirk on his face, since he had shared a secret with someone. He was filled with joy as the girl seemed amazed at what Christian could do, since she seemed to be even more excited than before. He put on his glove once again, so he wouldn't freeze any walls on accident, again.
"It's so pretty! How'd you do that?" She squealed in delight and Christian smiled at the fact that he could make someone happy, but he barely showed the young girl what he could truly do. "Thank you Hilly, I'm glad you like my sculpture." His words were soothing and calm, but he was overflowing with happiness and it was pretty hard for him to stay composed. He felt childish and he didn't care, since he might as well be a child. She placed the doll in her lap and snatched up the bird eagerly. He wondered how long it would be until it melted, but he had an idea to not make the girl sad when the bird made of ice melted. "Can you teach me how to do that?" She stared at him with admiration in her eyes and Christian felt bad that he couldn't teach her or at least he didn't know if he could."A magician never reveals his secrets." He hoped the girl would be excited for her life, since she would need to live to try to learn magic or whatever that his and his brothers' powers originated from. "How about this, I come to visit you kids I can and make a new statue each time I come, so the bird wont be the only one to be made." He would hold onto this promise, if the girl accepted his proposal that is. He absolutely hated breaking promises, since there would be no reason to make the promise in the first place. "See you later Hilly." He said this with happiness in his voice. He didn't say goodbye, since that usually implied leaving for a long time and he wasn't going to say goodbye.
"I'll stop by tomorrow to see you all. I'll bring treats," Christian was beginning to like the girl more and more, even if he was only with her for a little bit of time. He felt saddened when he heard tired goodbyes, but he knew that the kids still had energy left in them if they had enough strength to say goodbye. He followed Kyou from the room, since he didn't want to disturb the children's sleep. He knew that sleep was important, but he was still a bit reluctant to leave.
Christian and Kyou walked toward the elevator, she pressed the button and they both waited for the elevator to come up. "So what did you think of the children?" Her hands were behind her bottom and she was leaning against the wall, so he guessed that she would be judging his response. He decided to answer honestly, since that would be better than lying and giving her a false impression of him. "It was enjoyable to speak with them and I felt a bit reluctant to leave, but sleeping is important for them to recover." He answered honestly and he hoped his answer would be enough to show that he enjoyed the short time he was there. "I have the rest of my day free. I was supposed to meet my best friend, Sayuri, to work on a project, but she texted me earlier saying she was running late and wouldn't be able to work on it today," she explained, but he had no idea what she was trying to get across and he decided to wait before talking. "Is there anywhere else I can take you to?" she offered, palming her wallet. "I don't really know of much places, and you can guess why." Due to his being a season, he didn't really spend much time in settlements. "I have to stop by the library and check out some books for school, and then I was going to go to a local restaurant for lunch. Why don't I treat you to some food, seeing as you're new here?" she asked, smiling at him. "Oh?" This interested him, since he had quite a bit of trouble at the library earlier. He enjoyed reading and he didn't know why so many people didn't enjoy it. "So long as you're willing to put up with sitting in the library for a little while," she warned. The smile he had grew, since he needed help at the library. "I don't mind, since I enjoy reading books myself. It helps me keep up with the local events, and there is the occasional good author. As for lunch, I would enjoy being treated to lunch." He just hoped he wouldn't have to fight any secret admirers Kyou might have, since he might damage the humans a bit too much and he didn't feel the need for violence. He wouldn't add that thought to the conversation, since it might show that he thinks of her as beautiful enough to have a fan club. He wondered how his brothers were doing, but he didn't want to bother them at the moment and he instead wanted to spend time with Kyou.
Kyou
"It was enjoyable to speak with them and I felt a bit reluctant to leave, but sleeping is important for them to recover. I don't really know of much places, and you can guess why. I don't mind, since I enjoy reading books myself. It helps me keep up with the local events, and there is the occasional good author. As for lunch, I would enjoy being treated to lunch."
Kyou stepped into the elevator as it opened, waited for Christian to enter, then pressed the bottom floor level. She smiled up at him, unnaturally happy for once in her life. There was something about him ... She shook the thought off and slipped her arm through his, almost on instinct, and tugged him out of the elevator as they arrived at the first floor. "Don't worry, I wouldn't take you somewhere you'd hate. Besides, I have pretty good taste in food," she added.
She released his arm and suddenly moved ahead of him, turning around to grin back at him. "I'm glad you like books. If you didn't, I'd probably have to slap you upside the head," she warned, but her smile took the edge off of her threat. She then moved back over to him and grabbed his arm again, waving goodbye to the woman at the front desk, who respond with a slightly-shocked expression and a slight wave in return.
Once they were outside the hospital, Kyou turned to face him. "Library first, lunch second," she told him, already starting down the sidewalk. Light suddenly dawned on her face and she spun around to him. "I just realized something. You said you enjoy books, but seeing as you're new here, you probably don't have a library card, do you?" she asked, her eyes a bit wide. She broke into another smile. She honestly had never thought she was capable of smiling so much. "Don't worry, I'll help you get one."
Sayuri
Sayuri lifted her hand and brushed his hair back from his forehead, gently so as not to bother the irritated spot there, and gently kissed his forehead. "I still don't understand why me of all people," she said with a smirk. She leaned back and smiled at him. "And no, it isn't. It's Saturday, silly. There's no school on Saturday," she said, clucking her tongue at him. She pushed herself up from the ground, reaching down to pick up Greg. She set Greg on her head and helped Jackson up, smiling up at him, having to look through her hair since it had been pushed down and into her face by Greg. "Hm, you're a weird one, Jackson," she said, laughing. She took his hand and wrapped his arm around her, leaning her head against his shoulder yet keeping it balanced so Greg wouldn't fall, and she played with his fingers as she began to walk.
"I just need to finish up some student council stuff," she told him as she reached the school. She removed his arm and made her way inside the school, led the way down several hallways and up two flights of stairs, before stopping beside a locker. She spun a code in then popped it open and removed her bag, tossed it inside, snatched out a few notebooks and binders, plus some pencils and her keys, then slammed the locker shut and turned back to him. "I have a meeting to go to," she said, tucking a pencil behind her ear, some hair falling into her face in the process. She momentarily ignored it. "You can come with if you want," she offered. "But you have to be quiet, since you aren't on the council," she ordered, reaching up and removing Greg, holding him out to Jackson, and more hair falling into her face.
Kyou stepped into the elevator, so Christian stepped in before the door closed. She pressed button to that would take them to the bottom floor, she then smiled at him, somehow still smiling. He was wondering what it was about this girl that… intrigued him, but he couldn't figure out what it was that attracted him. His thinking was interrupted by Kyou suddenly slipping her arm through his, but he had no idea how to react to this and his words would be stuttered. He was a bit nervous, but he guessed that he actually did have feelings for the girl and he decided it would be easier to just accept those feelings. However, he didn't know if he could say what he felt, since he couldn't think right at the moment due to her hand still through his. His heartbeat could be hear and he was slightly blushing, since he wasn't used to this. He followed her tugging and they both arrived at the first floor. "Don't worry, I wouldn't take you somewhere you'd hate. Besides, I have a pretty good taste in food," She added the last part, so Christian tried replying and embarrassed himself intensely. "U-u-um, o-okay." Oh god, I probably just embarrassed myself more than I already was. He thought this to himself and he tried calming his heartbeat, by remembering lines from books he read before. He was calm and collected now, but he was still a bit flustered by her sudden movement earlier.
She released his arm and he released breath that he didn't know he had held. She turned around, still grinning and not at all flustered by the fact that she just put her arm through his. He guessed that perhaps it was something that friends did and that it wasn't romantic. This would seem plausible and it would stop Christian from being flustered, but he knew that usually couples did that in books and he didn't know what he was to her. "I'm glad you like books. If you didn't, I'd probably have to slap you upside the head," She warned him of this, but he didn't take this threat seriously due to the smile on her face. She moved back towards him and this time he was composed, and he wasn't flustered like he was before. She grabbed his arm again. He waved to the woman at the front desk when they passed her, with his free hand of course. The woman at the front desk responded with a shocked expression, but Christian ignored the lady's reaction.
Kyou turned to face him, as soon as they were outside the hospital. "Library first, lunch second," She told him this, while she was already starting down the sidewalk. "Okay, that seems fine." His voice wasn't stuttering and it was the same soothing voice he used normally, since he was feeling more comfortable around Kyou every second that passed. He caught up with her and she turned around, with light on her face. She was beautiful and he was staring, until she talked and broke him out of his daze. "I just realized something. You said you enjoy books, but seeing as you're new here, you probably don't have a library card, do you?" She asked with her eyes a bit wide, and Christian remembered where he first went when he came here and the strangeness of the conversation he first had. She was smiling quite a lot and he wondered how she could smile so much, but instead of asking that he instead smiled back. "Heh, I kinda failed at getting a library card." He scratched his head when he said this, since it was a bit awkward for him to talk to the librarian when he went to the library. "Don't worry, I'll help you get one." She added this on to her previous statement. "Thank you, I don't know if I can make it through getting a library card on my own." He sighed, since he was relieved that he would be able to get a library card without any more problems. He stretched a bit and he kept on following Kyou, since she would know the location of many of the buildings and since his mental map wasn't finished yet. He would finally be able to catch up with history and catch up on advances in science, and things like that. His intelligence was vast, but he still had room for improvement and he didn't really think of himself as too smart.
Kyou
"U-u-um, o-okay."
Odd, he doesn’t seem to be the one to stammer and become embarrassed … Kyou shrugged off the thoughts, just brushing his momentary loss of perfect control off as him adjusting to Earth. Geez, even the thought of having a … What would I call him … And extraterrestrial perhaps … No, he’s not at all like an alien. She rolled her shoulders and smiled up at him. “You can trust me,” she reassured him, leading him in the direction of the library.
"Okay, that seems fine."
Fixing a skeptical look on Christian, she studied him for several long moments, before nodding a little. “You should talk more,” she said quietly, looking at him through her lashes, a light pink tinting her cheeks. Something about him caused an odd stirring to begin in her stomach. Her heart skipped a bit at the way he looked at her, and she flushed even more, averting her gaze quickly. “I like your voice. It’s … Pleasant,” she told him, a bit awkwardly, before she turned and began to walk again, keeping her arm in his.
"Thank you, I don't know if I can make it through getting a library card on my own."
She cleared her throat. Stop it, Kyou. I know exactly what you’re doing. You’re developing a little school-girl’s crush on him. Well, that won’t do! You don’t need anyone, not even a handsome Winter spirit … Guy … Oh, yes, he was definitely a guy, definitely a man. And so, so sweet … No! She mentally slapped herself. Enough! Even if you weren’t, well, you, there wouldn’t be any possible way for you two to be together. He’s from a completely different world – literally – and no doubt is some sort of prince over there, who isn’t interested in being together with some stupid, little, powerless, weak human-being.
With a slightly melancholy look on her face, Kyou stopped before the library and released his arm. “Well, here’s the library. I’ll help you with the card, and then I’ll let you pick out some books, seeing as I need to find some books for myself,” she told him, making her way up the stairs, her hand clasped easily around his wrist.
Once inside, she pulled him over before the front desk, offering the librarian a smile. “I would like to help my friend register for a library card,” Kyou informed her. The librarian nodded, rifled through some papers, and then passed them to her. Kyou nodded and accepted the papers, then took his hand and dragged him over to a table. “Help me fill these out, and you’ll be good,” she ordered, sliding her chair over so it was almost touching his, and when they sat, they would end up brushing sides. She flipped out two pens and passed one to him, before picking her own up with her left hand. She began to write in a perfect scrawl across the paper, filling out what she knew about him for him, but forging a bit of the information so he wouldn’t be discovered as the … Alien? … That he was.
Sayuri
"Sure! I'd like to observe this 'council' of yours."
Sayuri feigned insult, placing her hand over her heart and stopping before him, sticking out her lower lip. "That hurts, that hurts right here," she sniffled a little, wiping at fake tears. She smiled and turned back around, picking her way easily in the direction of the room that her meeting would be held in. "No sarcasm is needed, but it really is a council," she insisted with a pout. "You meanie ..." she mumbled.
She paused again, however, when she felt her hair lifted and heard his intake of breath. She turned a bit so she could look at him with a raised brow, her hair still in his hand. He finally released it and it fell back down to her waist. "You know, I've never noticed, but your hair smells very nice," he commented, almost sheepishly. Sayuri smiled and let out a laugh, shaking her head at him. "Jackson ... You are the oddest person I have ever have the fortune of meeting," she said with a soft giggle.
With a slight smirk, she moved over to him and lifted her hand, curling her fingers into his shirt. She pulled him down so his face was almost touching hers, her hand relaxing and smoothing up and around his neck. "But thank you for the compliment," she murmured. She gently kissed him, drawing the kiss out for several moments, before she finally broke it. "I really need to get to that meeting," she informed him, stepping back and taking his hand in hers. She turned to a door they stood before, opened it, and led him through, an obvious changing going over her personality.
"I apologize for my late arrival, but I was held up assisting a potential new student in learning information about the school and the campus. If you all don't mind, he would like to sit in and watch how the Student Council works. His name is Jackson Orako, and I expect you all to treat him with the utmost respect and kindness," she warned, moving over to the pedestal that stood in front of the small group of people, who sat in the front row of desks in the room.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

It wasn't until around a half an hour later that the council meeting ended. Sayuri had managed to grant the funding of a new language club that had wished to form. She had also led the decisions on the school events days, the funding of them, and the events of the days leading up to the said large events. Many other things had been covered; however, these were the most prominent details.

Sayuri stood at the front of the classroom, organizing the papers that were now strewn across the pedestal and the table beside her, the rest of the council members already gone. She glanced up at Jackson and smiled. "What did you think?" she asked, obviously eager to hear his answer, hoping that she had impressed him. Suddenly, her expression grew puzzled. "I have a question. So, is your original name Spring then? And if so, would you like it if I called you Spring when we're alone?"

He sighed in his mind, since she seemed to not notice his stuttering. He thought that she didn't notice and that he was lucky that she didn't notice, since it would prove to be extremely embarrassing for her to point it out. He then wondered what the girl was thinking, but then again he wouldn't really want the power to read minds. He could usually control his emotions and put on a facade of calmness, but he could not for some reason control his emotions around the girl. She rolled her shoulders and smiled. "You can trust me," She reassured him, but Christian didn't think he needed her to reassure him, considering she seemed to know a lot and the only reason he couldn't talk was due to him being embarrassed. They both were going in the direction of the library.

She had a skeptical look on Christian, while studying him for several long moments and nodding a little afterwards. "You should talk more," She said this quietly, while a light pink tinted her cheeks. Wait, why are her cheeks turning rose colored?[i] He forgot to reply to her question, due to him wondering why Kyou blushed. He stared at her a moment, before noticing that she quickly adverted her gaze. "I like you voice. It's … Pleasant," She said this a bit awkwardly and she kept her arm in his, so Christian managed to compose himself and talk in his normal voice. He wasn't embarrassed anymore, since she seemed to be just as embarrassed as he was. "Oh? Thank you, Kyou. I'll try to speak more than if that is the case." He was talking in the same tone of voice he talked to HIlly with, but he didn't know that he was doing anything differently.

He stopped being embarrassed, but he continued having embarrassing thoughts. [i]I wonder, what does she think of me? Am I an alien to her or am I a prince? There are too many possibilities and not even I can pinpoint which one seems the most plausible, but why am I thinking a lot about her. Did I honestly fall for her? I'm probably breaking a rule or something like that, but who cares. Might as well continue having fun, since it's a bit too late to back out.

Kyou had a melancholic look on her face, so Christian thought that she must have been bored or something like that. Kyou stopped before the library and released his hand, so Christian's fear that she was bored was being increased. “I would like to help my friend register for a library card,” Kyou informed the librarian, and the librarian responded with a nod and by handing some papers to Kyou. "Thank you madam, sorry for any inconvenience I may cause you." This was directed at the librarian, but he barely had a chance to finish his conversation before Kyou dragged him to a table. “Help me fill these out, and you’ll be good,” She was ordering him to do this while sliding her chair over so it barely touched his chair. He sat down and barely brushed her side, so he almost lost his composure. He took the pen passed out to him and he held it in a strange, but efficient way. She was writing in a scrawl, but the scrawl was perfect. "Sure, but I guess I'm going to have to use an Alias." His eyes had a serious look to them and he began filling in the spaces with information that seemed plausible. His hand was moving slowly, but efficiently. He wasn't in a rush, since he had a lot of time to use and he didn't want to make any careless mistakes. "I'm completely strange. I was stammering like a fool due to embarrassment a minute ago, but now I'm acting completely different. This is strangely fun." He didn't know that he said this out loud, since he thought that he only thought this.

Sayuri

"Yeah, I guess that's pretty much about it, so yeah. Call me Spring if you want when nobody's around. I don't mind.”

Sayuri finished grabbing all her papers and moved over to the desk beside him to organize them. She moved it closer to his desk so the two were touching and therefore it would give her more room to organize the papers. “I really do like that name. It’s an odd name to have here, but … It’s nice,” she said with a warm smile up at him. She turned back to her papers and rifled through him, in an attempt to put them together according to subject.

”This 'Student Council' of yours sounds really good. I like it!”

She paused in her organization to beam up at him. “I’m happy that you like it. I love this club. I’m Student Body President, after all. Why would I do something that I don’t love?” she asked, letting her head fall to rest on his shoulder as she turned back to her papers. She heaved a soft sigh and leaned up long enough to slip them into her bag, before resting her head on his shoulder again, closing her eyes, and slipping her arm through his.

”I would like to join this school of yours and after that, I'll need to find myself an apartment to live in." “

A small smile lifted to her features. “I’m glad … Really glad …” she murmured. She sat like that for several moments, content just to be near him.
It’s silly that I could fall for someone in such a short time … I must be going nuts …

She jerked up as she realized that she had begun to fall asleep, lifted her hand and rubbed at her eyes, and gave him a sheepish grin. “Whoops,” she said, turning her face to nuzzle his throat. “So, if you’re Spring, and your parents are the Moon and the Sun, then who are Winter, Autumn, and Summer? Are they male? Female? Are they your siblings then?” she asked, her curiosity evident. She leaned back and took both his hands between hers, looking at him eagerly. “I want to know everything. Please tell me, Spring,” she practically begged.

Kyou

"Oh? Thank you, Kyou. I'll try to speak more than if that is the case."

Why was he talking like that? It was the same gentle, calm voice he’d used with Hilly. It made her feel … Childish and … Extremely unimportant. She definitely didn’t feel as special as she had before, having had his full attention and his laughing, smiling, and kind voice. She huffed a little and moved in her chair to get comfortable, brushing against his side. Her heart stopped at the contact, and she froze, her eyes widening a little as small bolts of electricity shot through her. Biting down on her lip, she forced herself to move and return to helping him fill out the paper.

"Sure, but I guess I'm going to have to use an Alias.”

She managed to let out a burst of laughter. “No, really Christian?” she asked jokingly, her lips quirking up into an extremely amused smile. She shook her head at him. “You’re different,” she said, smiling as she turned back to the papers. They were going through this surprisingly quickly, and she found that they were almost done.

"I'm completely strange. I was stammering like a fool due to embarrassment a minute ago, but now I'm acting completely different. This is strangely fun."

She finished off the last of the information. Now all he had to do was sign it. However, she went quiet when he spoke, a puzzled look lifting to her expression.

“I agree that you’re strange, but why were you embarrassed? I was wondering why you were stammering before, but I didn’t say anything. Mind telling me why you were embarrassed?” she asked, leaning back in her chair to look at him, her brows raised. “I don’t see why you would be,” she shook her head. “You are a strange on, Christian,” she said, leaning forward to grab the papers, brushing her hair back from her face and bumping him in the nose in the process. She shot back up, her hands thrown before her. “I’m so sorry! I didn’t mean to hit you,” she apologized frantically. “Is your nose okay?”

He wasn't using this voice on purpose. He only used this voice when talking to children or when he was busy doing work, but he this time he was busy doing work and he wasn't talking to a child. He didn't mean to be like this, but the work was taking a bit of his concentration and he didn't want to make any careless mistakes. He accidentally made a mark on the paper when they brushed, but he managed the mistake. "Sorry," His voice was normal when he said this, since he was a bit embarrassed.

He had no idea why she was laughing, since this would be serious work and he couldn't have anyone figuring out who or what he was. "No, really Christian?" She asked this jokingly, so Christian decided to let it go. Her lips quirked up in an amused smile, so Christian couldn't resist smiling as well. "You're different," She said this smiling, but she then turned back to the papers. "How am I different? There are so many ways that I'm different, so it's kind of hard to tell what you're referring to." He laughed a bit at the end of this, since he knew that his statement was true. He was extremely different from most, and people would probably not be able to accept the fact that he existed. He looked back at the papers and saw that they were nearly finished, and they only took a little bit of time to finish what they already did. "Oh, we went through the papers pretty quickly." He had made sure to have the things he wrote down match with the things Kyou wrote, since it would be strange to have different information on a paper and that would probably make people ask questions which could lead to him being discovered. Being discovered was not on his priorities and he would help his brothers get out of trouble, if they ever got caught. They would help him as well, if he got caught.

He smiled when he finished his last bit of information, but it was a nervous smile and he didn't think that he let actually spoke that. He thought that he was only thinking in his head, but he was thinking out loud. He saw the quizzical look on her face and he then noticed that he said that out loud. "Oh no," This was all he had to say, since he wasn't planning on sharing his thoughts, yet. He sunk in his chair, thinking that perhaps he could disappear.

"I agree that you're strange, but why were you embarrassed? I was wondering why you were stammering before, but I didn’t say anything. Mind telling me why you were embarrassed?” She leaned on her chair and looked at him with her brows raised. "I don't see why you would be," She shook her head, and Christian decided that telling then truth would be easier than making up lies. He couldn't make up any lies at the moment, because his mind was jumbled and embarrassment didn't help him think straight. "Ehh…. I guess I should probably explain, but promise not to laugh." He sighed after he said this and he was twirling his fingers, since he was trying to get his thoughts in order. "I guess that is probably due to an emotion that I can not control. I probably started developing feelings towards you, but I do not know when the feelings would have started developing. It is a natural response to be embarrassed in front of someone you have feelings for. Do not ask me how I managed to tell you all this, since I'm screaming in my mind and I'm embarrassed extremely." He seemed to be calm when saying this, but he was slightly blushing and he was screaming inside his head.

He was bumped in the nose, but he didn't really notice the slight trickle of blood. She shot back up with her hands thrown in front of her. "I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to hit you," she frantically apologized. He didn't notice due to him still processing what he just told her and his embarrassment reaching nuclear levels. "Is your nose okay?" This is what brought him back from his daze. "Oh? This is nothing, I can simply get some ice and it should heal quickly." He didn't really mind blood, since he could easily place his hand over the wound and it would heal quickly. He took off his glove and placed his fingers over his nose, but he didn't notice the coldness of his touch. It seemed natural for him to be healing like this, or at least it seemed natural for him and his brothers.

He stopped abruptly, since he noticed that he had just told her what was on his mind earlier. He was a bit apprehensive of what her response would be, since he just admitted he was developing feelings towards her.

Oh god, this is bad. This is extremely bad. I can't panic now or it'll be even more embarrassing, but what can I do? He would have taken his words back, but he couldn't make any sound come out and he had on idea what to do. He was trying to think of a way out of situation, but he couldn't concentrate on formulating a plan to escape his embarrassment and he would have to wait for a response to his sudden words. Not even his bird was making a sound and his breath was clearly visible. He would have tried turning into a blizzard and escaping, but he could not think to do that at the moment and he would have probably melted.

“I really do like that name. It’s an odd name to have here, but … It’s nice,”

"I'm glad that you think that it's nice." He said, turning his smile to her. He felt as if he was in a dream, although he knows perfectly well not, but these moments were one of the times where he thought he would never get. Sayuri's attempt to organize the papers had hypnotized him, making him figure how can she do something that difficult, but nonetheless, he snapped back to reality to continue his answer. 'Supposedly, Spring was supposed to be named after the personality of our mother; the loving and cheery side, which explained why I was like this, and I was born towards the same personality and takes after my mother with Fall. Although I have no idea where he is now." He said, scratching the back of his head, still trying to figure out where his brothers had escaped.

“I’m happy that you like it. I love this club. I’m Student Body President, after all. Why would I do something that I don’t love?”

She tucked her arms under him, and rested her head on his shoulders. He quickly giggled, and drummed his fingers on the table. She was right. Why would someone do something they don't like if they didn't like it in the first place? That's another question that had Jackson wondering every time. He particularly likes anything, whether it be a garbage or a dead body. Well, maybe not the latter, but you get the idea. Except that and a gloomy person. He never liked dark gloomy peoples. It just defies his personality. "I agree." He smiled beaming back Sayuri.

He quickly attempted to remember the answers to her question. This was quite unexpected but who cares. Jackson will answer any question for her. He shuffled through the memories, and most of the answers he needed were already scavenged, and now he just needs to piece them together with words. "Those three, are my brothers. Christian Orako, the Winter. He is a bit like me, seeing as we both like to sleep, and when we're awake, we would do different things to kill the free times we might have." He said, thinking the times where he and Christian would sometimes argue about trivial things like the differences of the books they read. But it will either be ended with an apology from Jackson, or the two other brothers settle the things down for them.

"Then comes Nickolas. He's the childish one of the group, and also the one that plays string instruments. Well, I don't really know what's that, but I think it's nice?" He thought, as the plays of Nickolas's instruments never really got into him. He's just not that interested in it. "Well, we can be both the same childish, but I'm just cheery... I think?" Question marks keeps on appearing in his head, and all he did was push them all away and will find answers for it until later.

"Then finally, Alexander. Well, at times, he can be really, really, hot headed, and would mostly rush things without other people's consents. A natural leader, some calls him, but I think he's just being nice. Because he only rushed things when it involves his friends or us." He smiled nervously, and tried to remember anything he forgot to add in. "Well, that's about it about them. If you want to know more, I suggest you get to know them. Because I really don't know how to explain in words of how awesome and loving my brothers is." He said, his smile brightly shone back to Sayuri. "I really, really love them!"
