Shiro was fast asleep, using a pile of paperwork as his pillow. He was at his desk in the organization headquarters, getting some much needed rest. Well... He wasn't suppose to be, but they had lost too many second chance humans recently and it was starting to take its toll on him. As the organizations leader he was connected to each and every second chance human, he felt their pain if they died. The tired angel was woken up by a sudden burst of energy. Shiro sighed and sat up. A piece of paper that had been stuck to his face. He searched through the stack of papers until he found the ones on the two new second chance humans. The he rose to his feet and shook his wings. Like most people think of when they think angel, Shiro's wings were white and feathery. As the organization's leader walked, he tried to make himself look like he hadn't just been sleeping.
He arrived at his destination, Momiji's office. He knocked once, then without waiting for a reply, opened the door. "They're awake." He knew Momiji would notice that he had just been asleep, but out of habit tried to hide it anyway.
