List at least five.
|Talents(T) | Strengths(ST) | Skills(SK) |
considering both his part-time jobs, it makes sense that Len would be skilled at both swimming and cooking, and in the latter he is especially talented, and tends to take on the job of cooking dinner every night lest risk being poisoned by Sid's less refined, more questionable dishes. He has a silver-tongue and can charm the pants off anyone (often literally). He is also generally a very likeable person, and is easy to get along with, and seems comfortable talking to anyone and everyone, so confident is he in himself and so unafraid is he of rejection. If it happens, it happens- he does not linger on sad or unfortunate things.
|Flaws/Weaknesses|
sometimes, in his people-pleasing, Len can turn passive, to the point that he becomes something of a pushover- he isn't weak-willed, per say, but he is someone prone to putting the comfort of others before his own happiness, as well as turning the other cheek when faced with mistreatment for the sake of avoiding drama or conflict. His niceness also sometimes plants him in a precarious position when combined with his promiscuity- he is not looking for commitment, and sometimes, when this isn't immediately understood by the other party (or parties, as is sometimes the case), he unintentionally leads people on for the sake of not hurting feelings.
|Hobbies|
passionate about food and the culinary arts, it's a given that Len enjoys cooking. More so, his passion for hospitality extends to hosting parties, as he enjoys playing the role of entertainer. He is also an avid reader, his favourite book being Douglas Adams' The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. He has a lovely singing voice, too, and enjoys to entertain and serenade, often accompanied by his trusty guitar. He enjoys writing songs, in his spare time, as well as visiting museums and galleries.
|Fears|
ΓΈ losing his sister ΓΈ regret ΓΈ getting old
|Secrets|
β€ when he was twenty two, he had an AIDs scare- it turned out to be a false alarm, but it was the most terrifying moment of his life. his sister is the only one that knows. β€ was peer-pressured into trying crystal meth when he was only eighteen- he cut ties with that group of friends, and never tried the drug again, but he's still ashamed of having been pressured into such a thing, as well as putting himself into such a dangerous position. He hasn't told his sister.
|Goals/Dreams|
To own his own restaurant one day, and just to live happily and freely in general, with no regrets.
"If you're going to come back, bring a bottle of alcohol and a book to read. Time moves slow, here."
|charismatic| |mischievous| |affable| |lackadaisical| |insightful|
Constantly congenial, Len doesn't like conflict. He avoids fights and prefers to brush off any aggression that comes his way rather than retaliate. He is very much the 'kill-em-with-kindness' type, so infuriatingly amiable that any brewing conflict ends only with his opposition leaving frustrated and exasperated. Instead of fights, Len tends to dedicate his time to other things, such as sleeping or cooking. The former is something he is exceptionally good at, and his is notorious for being able to sleep half the day away without an alarm to keep him in check. The latter hobby, however, is a touch more indicative of his actual personality; for lazy as he is, he is quite the perfectionist, with a remarkable eye for detail and an unrivalled palate.
He is also lazy, as his sleeping habits may suggest. He is a procrastinator even when he is trying his hardest not to be, and although he makes for an excellent tutor, he isn't especially good at following his own advice. He tends to fall out of time, daydreaming in the middle of the day, tying himself loosely back into the goings on around him whilst trying to act as though he's been paying attention the entire time. This doesn't mean that he doesn't work hard for his passions however- it is just that his attention is very interest-dependent, and if he is not intrigued by something, he can seldom help but mentally drift off to someplace more exciting.
He doesn't seem to care too much what others think of him, and his intense confidence in living freely often rubs off on those in his presence. He skirts the line of introvert and extrovert in an odd fashion, enjoying his own time and relishing in moments of silence, whilst all the same aching for human interaction, and the companionship of those he cares about. Or anyone, really, at least in the short-term. For as apartment's reputation would suggest, he quite enjoys the physical presence of others- flirting and romantics and sex are all things he is immensely adept in, and there is little he loves more than the rush of charming someone new and interesting. He is a touch contradictory, playing both the role of the dozy teen and the mother-duck, but he plays both parts with impressive dexterity, so no one has thought to question the oddness of his personal equation.
shortbread, earrings, his hair, cooking, his sister, libraries, bandanas, autumn, bright smiles, tattoos, indie music, sex, poetry, the smell of old books, reading, cherries, board games, history, art galleries, his hair, swimming, playing host, compliments, kissing, vodka, travelling, dancing
