❥❥ L i m i t e r s || Jana's limiter is a round device in her torso. Though it can be covered by artificial skin tissue, it is imperative that it resides within her body because that is where her powers manifest. As a social placebo, she wears two distinct, red-tinted goggles to put others at ease.

❥❥ D e s c r i p t i o n || Though she isn't very tall, red goggles on top of green hair make Jana easy to pick out of a crowd. She usually wears skirts and on occasion shorts, as she does not feel comfortable in jeans or long dresses. On the other hand, her tops vary from sweater vests to summer dresses. She prefers her colours soft over flashy and has a thing for plaid patterns.
Because of Jana's reckless parkour hobby, she has a number of blemishes. One in particular is a scar that runs across the side of her thigh up to her hip, but most are just small scratches on her hands and elbows.
Peculiar about Jana's appearance is that strips of skin can light up as neon. This happens when she uses her powers, but the patterns also light up when she is blushing from embarrassment, exercise or intoxication. Jana is not in control of this trait.

- Dancing with Myself || Jana has a need for physical expression. Doors shut, headphones on, now playing: her personal contemporary heaven.
- Breakneck Parkour || While most may not pay their environment much mind, there are two questions always prevalent in Jana's head; "Can I climb it?" and "How fast?"
- Friendship(!) || She may or may not be slightly clingy (she totally is) but having a friend who likes her for who she is means the world to Jana.
- Royalties || I mean, being a Queen comes with your own private bath. What's not to like?
- Watch This || Coy as she may act about it, Jana loves to impress. "It's no big deal." She may brush off a compliment, but that ear-to-ear grin tells a different story.
- Graffiti Art || Jana spends way too long in subways. The way these urban messages are delivered really resonates with her.

- The Future || Being privy to Callister's true purpose, Jana keeps it as her least favourite secret. She often worries about her own fate as well.
- Throwaway Feelings || Despite being at odds with its purpose, Jana knows she really needs the academy. She is ashamed of this shallow emotional dependence.
- Picking Sides || Whenever a friend or authority asks if she's with or against them, the Jana-train reaches nightmare-station.
- Ice Cream || That cold sensation feels invasive and wrong to a girl who uses her body to generate extreme heat.
- Handwriting || "No, I'm not fluent in ancient Egyptian, why do you ask?"
- Confinement || Jana becomes very uncomfortable in tight spaces and would take the stairs over the elevator any day. Crowds are also difficult for her to wade through. If you ever want to torture Jana; take her clubbing.

Jana is not outspoken, but she likes to speak and loves to be spoken to. She has a love-hate relationship with the spotlight royalty gets, enjoying the praise and benefits, but insisting she's just a normal girl at the same time. Though her somewhat reserved nature tries to hide it, she's the wallflower that blooms when no one is watching. Jana likes to compose, sing and dance in her spare time or practice an adrenaline-fuelled, plasma-powered parkour routine, but she is shy about showing off her progress. If Jana trusts someone enough to share her hobbies with, on the other hand, she will be very excited to learn what they think.

- Plasma Thruster || Jana emits gas from her body, then electrically charges it to create a thrust that can propel her in a direction of choice. This allows her to fly at high speeds or deliver a really mean hook.
- Plasma Cutter || By heating the gas inside of her body and using her pores as a nozzle, Jana can concentrate plasma in small cylinder shapes. These allow her to burn through almost any material, but the diameter of her cutter is fairly small.
- Heat Resistance || Otherwise known as the sole reason Jana isn't a smouldering pile of ash.

- Glow in the Dark || Jana emits light when using her power, giving her little utility in terms of stealth. In the same vein, plasma tends to burn whatever it comes in contact with, which means that most of the time people can smell and trace when Jana uses her powers.
- Velocity || Jana may be able to move at high speeds, but she isn't built for absorbing powerful impacts. While she can punch like a freight train by accelerating her arm, this would come at the expense of said arm. Similarly, Jana needs to be wary of her acceleration and frankly has a top speed that isn't dictated by her power, but by the durability of her human body.
- Canary in a coal mine || Because Jana charges gases, her powers can quite literally flare up if there's anything remotely flammable in the air... And heat resistance isn't the same as immunity.
At age four, Jana started to consciously apply her powers. Turning on the stove with your fingers is a cool trick, but to see shock on your mother's face instead of being praised was a confusing feeling. Jana didn't need those buttons to start cooking; wasn't that amazing? It was difficult to make four-year old Jana understand the consequences of her little trick. Icarus and Sheldon, however, were earnestly instructed not to speak of their sister's abilities. For little the brothers might know, the parents were well aware Callister could come for Jana at any time.
Icarus took his plight very seriously, but Sheldon found himself in a different situation. He was an awkward child, curious and bashful like his sister but also rather awkward and clumsy. For this reason, Sheldon was often bullied by his classmates. The younger brother had a hard time making friends, so when he caught wind of his sister's power, the temptation to show it off was irresistible. If Sheldon showed his classmates something cool, they would think he was cool, right? Instead, the academy learned of the manual stove-control girl and Jana was taken from her home not a day later...
