Acid's Story

I sit on a rock surrounded by bubbling green lava, feeling bored. I haven't seen anyone for ages. Surrounding the acid is burnt trees. And finally, surrounding these are mountains. I have seen wolves peering over but they always disappear after. I don't know if it because of me or the acid. I heard roaring in the distance and howling and all that but I never go over.

Too afraid. Me? I shouldn't be afraid but I am because I don't know if people are going to run away from me. I desperate to make a friend, I don't want to die lonely.

Acid lightly jumped over the pool acid. He walked past the trees then onto the tip of the mountain. He didn't know what to do next. He hasn't talked to anyone for ages let alone, ever.

He kept on walking, away from his lonely patch. He went past some wolves but, after a quick glance, carried on. Acid wanted someone to notice him, to notice his features, to call him ugly. He wanted to trick someone. He knew of the leaders but never met them. He wanted to do something.

Blinking, Acid sat down. He was away from his patch and near some wolves. Something was bound to happen.

Acid waited in silence.
