One paw step didn't make a sound, the other didn't either, the third one cracked a twig and the wolf let out a sigh. A light grey cloured wolf with a darker brown stripe pattern and spots stopped, his blue eyes scanning the area for any signs of possible danger around him. A blue, glowing tube hang around his neck with some tow, some say, it is that thing that keeps the old wolf alive, others say that it is just a tube with glowing bugs, and others say it is something he uses with time-travel, yet no one knew exactly what it was for, but everyone knew this old wolf seemed from a different age, from very long ago it seemed.

As Sorvon continued to walk, his attention was focused on the stars as he was looking up through the leaves and the stars in the dark skies. It had always fascinated him, stars, and sometimes he wished he knew what they actually were and what the purpose was of them, but that would be a bit too difficult for wolves to figure out and to understand, yet he wished that he could. Another sigh left him as he looked forward and went on.

The old male wolf always seemed to be a loner of some sort yet he always seemed to be there when you needed him the most. He seemed to appear from out of no where and stand by your side, or vanish without a sound and you'll never even notice it. Strange, wise and mysterious the old wolf was, seeming from a different age, seeming from long, long ago, with wisdom so plentifull, yet only sharing it when wanted to.

Abeo
The cool night breeze wafted through the skies and carried Abeo along the skies. Down below her pack mates were preparing for patrol, in other words, preparing as in getting on Lumen Armor to protect themselves from Caedis Pack. Patrols were very risky but then again; defending your territory is always risky. Abeo was anxious to know if she was going, after all tonight was the full moon. It was always an honor in Lux pack to be chosen for the lunaris circuitu, which is to patrol and brave the curse of the fallen gathering night. She always thought it was because the wolves that went were very brave, the light of the moon makes the night perfect for an attack.
"Abeo! Come on!" Praesul, Lux Pack's divine leader, called. Abeo obediently soared down and was immediately charmed with the Lumen armor. Basically it was just armor made of light, stronger than titanium. What fate should await them?

Zeron

The little pup bounded through the snow and tumbled into a small snow bank, the white puffball that he was disappearing easily in freshly fallen snow. His bright mischievous blue eyes the only thing peaking through the flakes they fallowed the movement of his brothers blue grey tail. He burst up through the snow, blue bangs flying round his forehead as he pounced and landed on his brother’s back, climbing and biting on his brother’s ear. Got you!!!

Marous

His dark, almost charcoal colored, ears swiveled as he heard something moving in the snow. He closed his eyes and shook his head. The pup needs to be trained soon. He just waited then felt Zeron pounce on his and grab his ear. He opened his mouth, making it look as if he would howl. Ow! He rolled as if his little brother took him down and he lightly nipped and pulled the little pup’s tail a little to get him to let go. Little rascal! Go bug someone else. He nudged his little brother towards the couple other pups of the pack as he saw a few of the other wolves getting ready to go on patrol.

"Marous, are you up for a patrol?" Canticum called over to the wolf wedged in the snow. She paced back and forth nervously because this was her first full moon leading Gelu Pack and Caedis was on the move. The stars had told her to stay at camp so she wouldn't be hurt but Canticum felt uneasy. Shouldn't she be risking her life along with her pack? Too bad they didn't have any armor like...wait, that's an idea for her. Canticum called the wolves that were getting ready to patrol over too her and told them her idea. "You must be completely dry and then get the parts where the armor will be soaked with water. Place some metal over those areas and then freeze it." Canticum said.

Sorvon stopped in his tracks and lowered himself on his front paws, being careful not to make a sound and scare away his pray. He slowly crept closer, watching the rabbit before him closely as not to scare it, so it would peacefully go on eating, and it would be easy for him to catch the fat rabbit. So he silently crept closer on his front paws, then lowered his back and made himself ready to pounce.

He counted down, jumped up, grabbed the neck of the fat rabbit and killed the animal instantly. He than made a silent prayer for the rabbit and ate it silently, burried the bones and left the place.

He looked around and wandered across the borders of the territories, watching the packs making themselves ready for a patrol or anything. He remembered his days at the pack, and he as still part of it, just was rather alone to think and learn from others.

The old male sighed softly and sat down, gazing down at his paws with his eyes closed, he thought back to when he was younger, much, much younger. Time had gone so fast, he could hardly keep track of it, and as he slowly aged and the time went a bit faster, he watched the young grow older and die when of old age whilst he kept roaming around, seemingly unaffected by time itself. He only got wiser.

And he thaught other wolves too. He always taught other wolves whenever he wasn´t learning himself, passing on his wisdom to the younger and the bit older. That was how he was.

The hot air swirled the lounging ashes off the rocks and into a small storm as it settled over Ignis camp. These events might’ve worried other packs but Regulus was proud of how he never had to feel warned about volcanic activity, it was something of a specialty to his wolves. In his mind, the only possible threat was Caedis pack… Regulus cursed under his breath as he paced around his den. The traitors already took out a big chunk of his best fighters once, leaving only one to survive. Pure hatred bubbled in him as he thought of the scene, and why he had not been there. Sometimes a part of him wondered if it was really Caedis pack that killed his wolves, a part of him thought it could’ve been the traitor pack. If it weren’t for the traitor pack then Regulus would declare war on Caedis Pack, his confidence held high in his warriors.

Sorvon sighed, feeling a bit lonely now, he looked around to see. He found the pack where the wolves flew and walked towards it, the old wolf silently walked into their main camp and sat down on the edge, watching it all in silence.

Some ways from where the Leaders of the packs were talking, an odd loooking shape was huddled on the forest ground sleeping. If you looked closer, you would see a wolf covered in shadows on the ground, and if you got even closer you would see the intricate designs on her fur. The designs were a glistening sable while the wolf's basic color seemed to just be the ordinary, dark gray you'd see on most wolves.

Aylen was watching the fire that lay in front of her. It glowed brightly, and it lapped at the sticks that were suddenly thrown into it's flaming mouth. "Wake up, love. You're dreaming." Aylen's head shot up and she winced as she felt the pain at the back of her head blossom. Groaning and cursing under her breath she refocused on her surroundings. Blood caked the ground, and there were signs of a fight, a very large and very brutal fight. There were also signs of a fire of some sort, because some parts of the tree and the ground were burning, leaving piles of ash. She didn't know where she was, and she couldn't remember what happened.

If Aylen woke there, then wouldn't you think she was part of this little war that happened there. She closed her eyes and tried to focus, focus on... Nothing. She couldn't remember anything, nothing but the black darkness closing in on her. She growled, and couldn't keep the rising howl from leaving her. She howled outloud, not caring if any wolves heard.

Sorvon perked his ears at the sound of a howl in the distance. He stood up and left the pack of the air to find the wolf that had howled, wondering why the wolf had howled or hat had happened. And, as he walked, making no sound like usual, he could only think about what happened to the wolf.

He stopped, watching the black wolf before him from the shadows. This place was... different. It had a long history of fighting and even fire. He stepped from the shadows and looked at the black wolf as he sat down infront of her. He cocked his head and looked at her.

Regulus shot up from his slumber at the sound of the howl and two wolves rushed in. "Regulus, we located the survivor, it's Aylen!" the wolf barked. Regulus bolted out of his den and out to the ledge where he called Ignis Pack. "All wolves who can withstand the fire element gather under the Ledge for a clan meeting!" He howled. Wolves quickly clustered beneath their leader to wait anxiously for the news of their comrades with their eager eyes and ears. "We have found that there is one survivor, Aylen, and we are going to retrieve her at this moment. Have a our fastest wolf ready to run to Nex Pack." Regulus bowed his head. There were several wails of newly widowed wolves. Regulus took pity on them, in the old traditions of wolves they were mated once for life and some wolves followed that old rule. His finest sentinels...dead. "Lead us there, Medicus." Regulus and an abiding fiery, orange wolf; Medicus, set off in a run across their territory to reach Aylen.

Aylen bit back another curse as she opened her eyes and saw a wolf appear out of nowhere. She stopped mid-howl and jumped backwards, keeping her moonstone like eyes on the stranger. She obviously didn't know him, and that was enough for her to mark him as an enemy. She bared her teeth, letting a growl claw its way out of her throat. Aylen didn't notice but she seemed to be instinctively calling on fire to fight, because the little flames surrounding her grew. The flames crackled and roared to life as Aylen's emotions took control. She felt angry, betrayed... and sad.

Aylen didn't know the reason for these emotions, or why she was even feeling them. Nothing wrong happened to her, right? She just stumbled upon this site by accident, right? She could have just chosen this place and fell asleep, right? She didn't know. She didn't remember so she didn't know where, or who she was... She didn't know the wolf standing in front of her. She didn't know anything... Aylen struggled on what to do.

Sorvon smiled gently, didn't move and just sat before her, watching her silently. He cocked his head and lowered his ears a bit and his head, making himself a bit submissive. Something wasn't right with her, she didn't seem to know anything, not even who she was herself or how she came here.

Sorvon stood up and looked around, then slowly walked towards her and sat down a bit closer to her. ''It's alright, I won't hurt you,'' he said with a soft, gentle voice that sounded a bit like that of a grandfather telling something to his child.

The two wolves watched silently from the trees at Aylen, a low growl in Regulus's throat from the emerging Aevitas wolf. "She appears to have...forgotten some things." Medicus whispers. Regulus cuts off his growl once he realizes who the other wolf is. It's Sorvon and although he has helped them in the past, Regulus was not okay with him for trespassing. As not to upset the scene Regulus crouched low to the ground with Medicus, ready to spring and intervene should anything happen.

"It's alright, I won't hurt you.'' Aylen backed up once more. He was a stranger. Someone she did not know. Confused, she stepped back some more, looking ready to bolt for the forest. The fire around her dimmed but then she just couldn't take all this in for some reason. She felt as weak as a newborn cub, and that was something she was not okay with. She was showing weakness in front of a stranger, and that didn't seem right for her. Despite her trying not to fall over, she fell over. Her eyes were still open, but then they closed and she was asleep.

Sorvon perked his ears, hearing something from far, knowing it were the leaders. He looked back at Aylen and watched her as she backed up, and backed up some more. The fire dimmed as he watched and she then fell down, and her eyes closed. ''Come on out, I kno you are there, he told the leaders as he bent down to check on Aylen with a bit of worry. He sighed softly and sat down, looking around for something that could tell him what happened.

Regulus stepped out from behind the rock and approached Sorvon. "You have helped me in the past, but tell me, what are you doing in Ignis territory?" he asked, refusing to dip his head in polite greeting. "Actually, explain later, I must know what is going on with Aylen." Regulus studied the other wolf with his ice-blue eyes to see if she remembered him at all, careful not to show any signs of hostility; well, maybe his teeth seemed hostile but he was born like that. Medicus followed beside Regulus, amber eyes shifting from Sorvon to Aylen to Regulus. Who should she look at?
Regulus refused to be submissive, injured or not every wolf needed to know he was leader, however he didn't advance or set his ground any more than that. He wasn't sure if Aylen really was asleep.

Aylen was pretending to be asleep, and it was really hard to keep the act up when she heard two more wolves approach. Instinctively she wanted to get back on her paws and fight, but she fought to keep herself from doing that. She heard the wolves talk and then, Sorvon came near. Bingo. Aylen opened her eyes, and twisted around and bit down on Sorvon's side and was able to drag him down, while getting to her feet. She tightened her jaws and growled as she shook the wolf while watching Regulus and Medicus. Were they friend or foe?

Regulus stood silently watching Aylen and didn't even flinch when the she-wolf lurched up and attacked Sorvon. He watched calmly and met Aylen's gaze when she studied him and Medicus.
"Are you going to help him?" Medicus asked in a surprise tone.
"He is a trespasser..."Regulus says. Medicus glares at him with her large, amber eyes and then focuses back Aylen. "Do you remember us? I'm Medicus, the healer." She takes a tentative step forward with her head low when Regulus pushed her pack gently. "I'm Regulus, your pack leader. I am your friend, but I will not force you to do anything, nor will I hurt you." He raised his head high in superiority, but showed no hostility and did not advance forward.

Sorvon gasped when she dragged him down but didn't try to escape from her, or try to get lose as he fixed his gaze on Regulus and Medicus. He was used to quite some pain, and always learned to stay calm, no matter what happened. Always stay calm. So he just lay there, breathing in, breathing out slowly.

Aylen would be lying if she said she wasn't afraid. Right now, she was afraid and working very hard to keep it contained. Medicus, a wolf healer. Regulus, an Alpha, but of whom? She growled and stayed her ground when Regulus stepped forward. She didn't know what to do, so what else could she do besides be afraid. The small fire on the ground to her right grew, crackled and popped as it seemed to roll in on itself. Without warning the flames roared upward, and in the shape of a wolf sized dragon it roared and flew toward Regulus.

Aylen was so suprised by this that she let go of Sorvon.

Sorvon slowly rolled onto his tummy and fixed his gaze at the wolf sized dragon fire. He realised it was heading towards Regulus and got up, bitting his tongue to forget the pain. He ran towards Regulus and stood before him as the fire seemed to come right at him. But whatever, or how badly he would get hurt, he would protect any alpha with his life, and so he took the flames, biting harder onto his tongue as he fell down and his eyes closed.

"Well that wasn't the smartest thing...oh well, valor is valor." Medicus made the flames go out before they seriously burned Sorvon. "You do know that Ignis pack can withstand any temperature and even the best can create fire. Perhaps I could teach you, just calm down." Regulus didn't rip his gaze from Aylen, he knew now that she was a danger, a danger that simply did not know better. Medicus tended to Sorvon and actually seemed scared, though Regulus knew she would never admit it for all the territory in Initum. "We can explain everything to you if you come back to camp, no one will hurt you there. And erm...I guess we have to take Sorvon..." he threw a glance at the Aevitas wolf and then focused back on Aylen. "Well?"

Aylen stared at Sorvon for a moment before looking at Regulus. She nodded, not trusting herself to say anything at all. She lowered her head as she stared at Sorvon. Did I do this? She thought as she watched the poor wolf bite his tongue. The flames died down, and turned to ash as Aylen watched Medicus looked to Sorvon.

Marous

He dipped his head low in affirmative as Canticum came asking if he was ready for patrol. He would always be ready; he would do what the Alpha asked, though he wondered sometimes why he was picked to succeed the previous. She seemed aloof half the time, though she was very talkative and no one but alpha ever talked. He turned his head to her as she mentioned how to put on the armor, getting just the area that needed the metal, wet then freeze it so the metal held onto them. He glanced at the others and nodded, tail swishing to the side. Go on, let’s do it. He and the others went over to the scrap pile, as they helped each other put on the armor.

Regulus
Regulus sighed in relief when Aylen agreed to come and then turned to look at Sorvon. "You're going to have to come to Ignis camp. Medicus can treat your burns there, then I'm sending a wolf to Rector." He looked to Medicus who had worry shining in her amber eyes. "I'm not so good with burns...we don't usually get them..." Regulus groaned and went to help her. "Can you stand?" He asked Sorvon, very aware he turned his back on Aylen.

Canticum
She watched as her pack mates suited up in their armor and felt utterly useless. Why did the omen tell her to stay? "Good....luck?" Canticum said as the patrol began to leave. Before they left she stopped Marous. "Tell me what happens?" She begged. Gelu wolves were experts in communication, they also had a language in music.
