Introduction

Solatium Academy, a school for the supernatural, preternatural, or unnatural! They gave refuge to any and all creatures or monsters not welcome in the outside world. They've had vampires of all species, werewolves of all species, elves, demons, angels, fallen angels, arkangels, talking animals, undead, you name it they've probably had them. The school served as more than just a school... It was an Elementary, College, High School, Junior High, and an Academy all in one. What's more? Students and their supernatural families could live in the castle. It was a nice community, and they didn 't judge you bye race or history as long as you pledged to follow basic rules. The school was absolutely hidden from humans, in it's own Shadowrealm. Typically, a Shadow Realm is usually the home of one particular deity, as many gods lived in their own Shadowrealms, but this one was just a safe heaven from humans. The Academy was in the middle of a lake, that was in the middle of a dark and haunted forest. The forest was outlined by mountains and then regular woods. Solatium Academy looked like a castle, but it also had vast underground networks. The dark woods surrounding the lake was called Flux Valley, it was a crazy place. Some areas defied gravity, aswell as there being other unexplain anomolies...
Then it was all destroyed.
I tell you this as a warning. For you may or may not know what's happening in the world. You need to know this story. A lot has happened during Solatium's 367 years. But it's that very last year that we're talking about.
It was the first year for alot of students. During the last 50 years, there had been rumors of Vampires and Mages disappearing in Flux Valley, and those rumors were true. So when this year's unusual amount of students arrived, a young vampire, who was a long-time student at the academy (it was her 50th year at the Academy), decided to take a few friends and investigate. While she was out, she decided to also go and see the Merchant. A mysterious guy who sold
all sorts of magical items and weapons they were delayed by a storm. To make the story short, five days later one of the friends she took named Divina turned Dark. He was a Caster, and his family was cursed so he was to become Dark or Light on his sixteenth birthday, against his will. He was taken by an evil, evil, EVIL man named Melancholy. BUt he was more than a man, he was a murderer, and a Dark Creature. Her was a mixture of an Incubus, a Fallen Angel, and a... I don't know, something else. Either way, he helped Divina nurture his Dark powers, and guess what...
He was the one stealing the souls of the vampires and mages.
He and Divina formed the souls into bodies and they became their soldires.
They attacked the Academy, and it was all destroyed. Leveled. Then, the Shadowrealm collapsed and killed hundreds more. A few of the stronger ones made it out... But not everyone was so lucky. The destruction of that Shadowrealm destroyed five others tied uniquely to it. This sent ripples throughout the Shadowrealms and the Multiverses, calling out forces of good, evil, neutral and more throughout the Multiverses. Ancient gods awoke from slumber and chose sides, as did others, for the protection of humanity. Or the destruction of it. Humans, after a few years, understood that there were two sides and not everything was out to get them. There's been Fifteen Years of War now, and we're losing. The
Dark Ones are using ancient forbidden magic that is amazingly strong and forbidden for reasons. We desperately call for new recruits to join us, to join the Rebellion, join the Good Guys, join the fight to save humanity! Because we may not be winning now, but the tides always turn. We will prevail, we will crush those evil Dark Ones.

Kaoz Bloodred shook her head, looking around at the carnage.
"Hurry up and get the Heli air born! Quick!" She looked at the helicopter, it's blades slowly turning and gaining speed. The wind around her whipped and lashed out. She looked down the street at the advancing army. The Battle of Vegas had been worse than expected, the Rebellion having 250 troops and the Dark Ones having an army of dark creatures that should have never existed...
In the thousands.
A Vetala, faster than the approaching army, leaped at her. Vetala are evil dark creatures, but it didn't stand a chance against
Kaoz in her fury. She lashed at it, ripping it to shreds with her clawed Vampire Gauntlets. She spit in disgust. The only advantage of having the small army was the fact that they could get into and out of a location easily. With her whole army loaded into the 75 helicopters, hers would be the last to take flight. sighing, she grabbed onto a handle on the side of the copter, and stepped into it. It was open on both sides, so she watched the army grow smaller and smaller as they ascended into the sky. She pulled back her hood, crimson eyes glowing with malice.
"Next strike won't be a retreat."

Eden suddenly shot up from out if her sleep. She coughed horridly and looked around. "Where did I...- Oh..." She suddenly remembered. "Fell asleep under the tree again..." She stood up, her bones cracking softly as she stretched. She rubbed her sleepy eyes. They were still clearing up as she spotted her book lying on the ground. She yawned and picked up, placing it in her bag. "Where'd he go...?" She again, remembered who she was with before she had fallen asleep. She slung her bag over her bag just as her stomach grumbled.

”Finally some time for myself,” the restless Kamoku said to himself as he laid on a branch of a surprisingly intact tree, considering the surrounding he was in; dark flames sprout from the ground, noticeably that a fight was brought to an end. The smell of blood, burnt and metal in the air was unexplainably noticeable, while all that we could saw is ashes burning evenly in the cold flames. Kamoku smirked to himself, blooding dropping down his mouth a bit; he didn’t care much. β€œThis fight was needed… and I’m happy that I was the winner,” he murmured to himself, appreciating the sound of chaos. Kamoku took out his crystal in which a dark mist danced from the inside. β€œLet’s see what a double bounded soul looks,” he said as his arm drove into the ball, pulling out a dark soul from it. He looked at it with a smirk that soon melt into a frown; it was the soul that he collected, although, there was something wrong as if a piece from it was missing. β€œThis makes no sense!” the dark being soon mixed with the shadow of leaves, travelling.

Shadows rose from another tree, as Kamoku looked down on the remaining of a corpse. β€œWeird, very odd…” he murmured to himself, inspecting the remaining of the demon. There was no sign of life, that was normal, but the soul which he collected from should have a special guest on it. Someone else’s soul. The only guess that the soul stealer made is either someone already stole it, or that it got destroyed when the being reached his final form. β€œWhatever; he’s dead, and that is what is needed.” The wind rose, making his dark cloak waving into the air softly, as he peered around, unable to draw a smirk. It was dead, and that what it counted, but still, something is missing to complete his task.

A body rose near an enflamed tree. Her pale blonde hair couldn’t mix very well with the predominant flames, although, he head had an immense ache. β€œWhere….am I?” her soft and young voice whispered to herself, as her pale skinned hand reached behind her head, scratching it. Her mysterious deep red eyes opened on the chaotic scene, and she immediately reach to her mouth, squealing in it. She should have known something about the place she was in if she got in here, but what? She tried to peer into her memories, without finding anything.”Hazel… get out of this mess, quick!” a voice told her in her head. Hazel, as the being called her, quickly looked around, skeptical. However, she didn’t have any choices, or dead could be bring upon her. She quickly grabbed a sealed book on the ground and ran away in a random direction, without knowing if she was actually in the good direction.

Kamoku’s ear picked up on something; it wasn’t flames, it wasn’t the trees, it was… steps! Someone is running through the mess that he caused in the fight and smirked. He turned towards the source of the sound, thinking that he would let go that being. Something unusual about this one’s soul. He quickly mixed with the shadows.

Dark arms gripped on a light blonde haired person, as she screamed in surprise and fear. She was brought down on the ground, bounded to not move. Kamoku rose from the shadows of a tree, a dagger to his hand. He smirked, playing with the blade in his hands, walking slowly towards the poor girl, saying warmly; β€œI don’t know who you are, but you have something I need!” and he slowly walked towards her, tasting the pleasure of her screaming:
”Help! Someone please!” on top of her lungs. Kamoku smirked towards her, warmly replying: β€œShhh… save your voice for your last judgement,” and laughed darkly under his breath.

Eden's ears twitched at the sound of the girls pitiful screams. She jerked her head around several ways until she found where it had come from. She then jolted towards it as fast as she possibly could until she found it. Her spear in hand, she gripped it firmly. "Put. Her. Down." She demanded. Her eyes locked on Kamoku. Her light blue hair turned slightly darker and it grew longer, her eyes turning white. Her fingers trembled with hatred. "Back away before I slice you in half. Her tone changed as she growled.

Emalia Dres Van
Emalia also heard the screams as she sprouted her wings and flew high above the treetops to spot where it came from. She landed next to Eden and looked at the girl. "Has he hurt you...?" She asked before turning to Kamoku. "Why do you intend on killing this creature?" She tilted her head to the side curiously.

Kamoku rolled his eyes; he had to expect that he wasn’t alone after all, and now other beings started to appear in front of him and his pray. He just chuckled, twirling the dagger in his finger again, tilting his eyes, smirking towards them: β€œMore people, more fun, right?” He just chuckled at them, but more especially towards the girl with the spear, who was threatening him with that very same item. β€œI think it would be better to run away now,” he said warmly in a smirks as shadows started to flick around, β€œIt would be a shame for your poor souls to become mine.” When he finished his sentence, the shadows from the ground seeming to raise from the ground, but they didn’t have any definitive form. He has no intend to fight them; all he wants is the girl’s soul. After all, he didn’t feel to spend more energy after his previous fight which took all night to finish. His free hand reached over his dark crystal, ready.

Kamoku smirked. β€œVery well, let’s have fun,” he chuckled, as a soul got out of his crystal orb, and he threw it to the ground. The shadows flickered as a demonic-like expeditiously rose from the grounds, reaching 8’ tall with his hoof. The demon roared an ear-piercing. As the being finally got out from the shadows, it’s form soon got more and more detail as dark mist came down on it, reaching into the grass, making them crimple to a gray color. The demon was black like a shadow, and a nuance of gray to define. The demon, growling towards the girls, set himself in an attacking position. Kamoku smirked, chuckling loudly as he looked directly to Hazel, saying: β€œI’m going to save you for later,” and as he said that, Hazel could feel her body drag into the ground, deep into the dark, as she couldn’t react at all. Kamoku smirked towards, throwing his arm to point at the group of two, saying to his demon: β€œAttack them!” And the mindless beast ran towards them, throwing a boulder in fire to them.

Eden doused the boulders with her water elemental abilities. This only caused the flames to die. The boulder came crashing into her. Her ear piercing shriek rang throughout. As the boulder rolled off of her, she was left a bloody mess. "F-Fuck..." She stood up anyways. Her eyes again, changed color. She ran at the beasts but fell over from exhaustion and groaned before standing back up. She searched for her spear which lie a few feet away from her. She went to grab it. Thrusting it at one of the beasts. She prayed that it struck something. Anything.

Emalia Dres Van
Emalia squealed softly, dodging the flaming rock that flew at her. She clapped her hands together, causing forceful winds too sweep across to the beasts. The winds were powerful and dominating, it caused trees to collapse or snap in half. She looked over towards Eden who was holding her side and lying on the ground. "Oh dear..." She made a tisk noise with her mouth as she grabbed her and flew above the beasts and back to her camp where she sat her down gently and tended to her wounds.

Sleeping up in a peculiar cave on the mountain range, there were piles of garbage and miscellaneous objects with a small corner with an old tattered bed and some blankets on the floor next to it, he was hanging off the side of the bed with some drool on his cheek. Snoring faintly in his bed that he had been in for a few days after being attacked by dark monsters when he wandered up on the mountain, not knowing of the dangers ahead, only leading to him in danger as usual which resulted in a large slash in his right arm to which he treated as best he could by wrapping it in some cloth he found. The cave seemed to have something special about it, he felt something about it that was different, especially with one of the three statues in it, a boy wearing a jacket, about his age it seemed. He felt like something about it was special along with the scythe it had by it's feet. Throughout his long sleep nothing had really affected him until something began crawling all over him, almost biting at him until it went to a sudden jolt of pain in his arm, causing him to fall off the bed for him to see a stone beetle that seemed like it wasn't even alive yet got half-way under his wrappings.

"What in the world?" He said puzzled as he removed it from his arm and walked up to the statue which he was so interested in, it made him feel stronger for some reason, just the look of the boy's face on the statue, courageous and determined. Immediately as his touched it's shoulder with a smile a quake began shaking the entire cave, some rocks falling from the ceiling as his vision went black, looking around hastily too find out what was happening as he saw multiple white forms down below, quite a distance away aswell. Pulling back his hand, his vision returned and he ran outside of the cave, haring a loud noise from the Valley along with raging fires in the forest near where the noise came from. Pulling out his notebook he did a quick bird outline and then shaded it in quickly, placing the book on the ground and his hands began glowing while the bird silhouette rose from the pages and grew much larger. Grabbing his book again and mounting the bird, he took off on it, flying down the mountain to the fires to see a group of strangers and a large beast attacking them.

"Look out below!" Flying at the boulder with his bird and jumping off at the last second, the bird being destroyed along with the boulder as he landed on his back in pain, his arms wound opening again and the wrappings ripping apart slightly.

"Ugh...this won't be good." Some of his blood beginning to seep from his arm again.

Kamoku clapped at the scene; the two girls just got away from the scene, and one guy arrived, already in a bad position. Chuckling, he said to the guy: β€œWell, it is not worth of you to die like that, but I let you to your own destiny,” and waved his arm, turning away. β€œI’ll come back later to see if your two still have fun, that is if you survive that long.” His laugh sounded decrescended as he walked away from the scene, leaving the beast occupying the young men.

The beast growled towards him, and his fist hit the ground and the ground rumbled, the earth rising, tree alofting, as the beast ran towards him, breathing a dark fireball towards him.

Groaning as he rolled onto his stomach and weakly pushed himself off the ground, getting back to his feet he was frozen at the beast attacked again and the fireball was hurling toward him, only three yards away. His early courage and bravery had gone away, fear now filling him and it could easily be seen in his eyes, he had no real strength or abilities which set him apart from others, he was weak and a coward. Even as he saw no way out of this he braced for the impact and began hoping for the best, but for once he was lucky and heard someone yell out to him, an unfamiliar voice that rang through his head saying "Keep going! Let it out!". He looking right at the flaming ball and lowered his arms as it was five feet from him and he yelled at it, a high pitched sonic wave putting the fireball out and tearing up the ground in it's way until he refrained.

" No more chaos, no more war!" His bottom jaw splitting and his throat having teeth sprout in it, his mouth was now just a large array of sharp teeth as he shouted once more, ripples in the air could be seen as he shouted at the beast, the ground being ripped up even more from the frequency of it.

Being left behind at camp, outed from battle, was boring at best, irritatingly infuriating at worst. So upon hearing the echoes of a struggle emanating loudly from further within the forest, Blaine sprung into action, excitement and adrenaline already pumping through his veins, though it hardly showed on his fair face. Grabbing his sword in his strong grip, he raced off into the trees in search of the darkness and monsters to slay. Andrea's reaction was slower than her friends', but nonetheless impressive. Scooping the handmade arrows into their respective quiver, she slung the pouch across her back, making a desperate grab for her bow, chasing heartily after Blaine.

Approaching the scene, Blaine was relieved to have allies already dealing with the formidable 'problem', and counted himself lucky to have such a diverse range of creatures, though anger and disappointment rang across his bones when he realized the creator of the dark beast had slipped away from their grasps.

Slinking in behind him, Andrea blended into the shadows of the tall forest trees, firing arrows in rapid succession until one planted itself firmly into the eye of the hideous creature, the effort the best she could do in regards to stopping it and aiding the others, for she had left her swords and protective amour behind.

She laid on the ground, trying to catch her breath once again, as she rubbed her shoulders; her skin was glacial, even that her breath turned into a white mist. Andrea's metal bow joined its counterpart across her back as the elf hurried over to the paling, possibly injured, girl. Kneeling beside her, Andre coaxed the blonde into an upright sitting position. Blaine had little pity or sympathy for casualties, especially this one, who would, most likely, be healed within a day. But he insisted on gruffly making his way over, offering the jacket he had been donning for a barrier against the young ones cold. He simply wanted out now that he had missed his chance to swing the heavy blade at the dark creatures, but his leaderly instincts kicked in full throttle, wishing to take care of his troops (That were honestly not his to begin with). Andrea accepted the offering, wrapping the warmth of material around the shoulders of the girl, hoping it would help her condition. She regarded the book that she clung to with mild interest, but could clearly see she was attached to it, so did not bother with prying it from the girl's grasp.

Noticing another collapsing due to the fierce battle that had taken place, Andre tugged Blaine down into her place as she stood and moved carefully away from the body she had been tending to. "Look after her, yes?" She whispered quickly in his ear, an order that had him verging on protest, yet Blaine did not dare argue once her hard, wizened gaze settled on him. Blaine nodded curtly, focusing on the pained blonde within his arms.

Slinking across to the one who had defeated the monster at such a price, with all the grace commonly associated with elves, Andrea lowered herself to the ground once again, locating the wound with sharp eyes. Haphazardly ripping a piece of fabric from the dirtied dress she was wearing, Andre then folded and pressed the absorbent cotton against the slash in his arm, attempting to stem the gush of red. Her grip was firm, but soon the blood seeped into the rag. "Please, come, open your eyes, look at me," The red-haired elf murmured, fearing his fall into the subconscious.

Opening his eyes as he stood in front of two dark figures within a black space, both about his height while one had a more feminine body. Nothing else could be depicted from these two, no color, no hint of what their voices sound like. Stepping closing to them the floor cracked all around his foot so he quickly picked it up, the cracks growing larger and larger, the only thing to be seen in them was a raging black and red ocean.

"Whats going on here!?" Stepping back, his voice trembling as more cracks formed under his feet and the eyes of the two figures opened, the male with brown eyes and the female having blue eyes that repeatedly switched to purple. They reached out their arms but as Niles raced to them, he fell down into the ocean and was sucked down, his vision was black again while loud voices rang through his head "Stop Kamoku..." and then everything went silent once again.

His head started rolling left and right along the ground hearing someone near him his eyes slowly opened, closing them for a moment as his eyes re-adjusted to the light of the flaming forest. Sitting up he looked at the woman holding his arm and sighing, he must have pushed himself and went out again seeing as he had no energy since he was harmed by the creature and all he could do was delay the bleeding.

"Kamoku...who is that? Uhm who are you miss?" Asking hesitantly seeing as he hasn't found many friendly people recently.

Blaine scanned the area, eyeing the encroaching flames that licked hungrily at the trunks of trees, leaving trails of black smoke in its wake, smoke he could clearly smell from where he was crouched. He inwardly swore. Monsters and enemies they could fight: this? Well, this they could merely run from. It irked him that they would have to flee. Hearing more weak words, he glanced down again, dark gaze settling on the girl. "Blaine. My name is Blaine, but that hardly matters now," He dismissed. "Can you walk?" Blaine asked gruffly, before answering his own question, "No, of course you can't," He growled, bustling the youth into his capable arms after he'd attached the great sword to his hip. Standing, he turned to address his friend, who was continuing to tend to the boy who had vanquished the beast and sent its castor fleeing. "Andre, leaving, now." Blaine barked, already heading quickly for an opening not destroyed by the red fire.

"Kamoku? He is the man we fought, I believe. But he is long gone," Andrea explained softly, "And, as it seems, he has left us a lovely little fire to do deal with in the mean time. Can you stand? Walk? I can help, we simply need to move." Andrea tied another thick ribbon of material around his arm to hold the first in its place. She'd need to dress the wound properly once they were far from the dangers that herepresented. "And its Andrea," She added, with a reassuring smile, despite the circumstances.

She blinked very fewly, but a smile was draw on her face; it is true, she couldn’t quite walk, or not enough to get out of the situation. Although, she didn’t wanted to show any weakness in front of the strangers, and so she got slowly on her knees, then rose on her legs, gripping down on the jacket, while the book remained on her chest. She softly said to Blaine: β€œI can walk, but not enough to get out of this mess,” with her optimistic smile as always. At that moment, she heard the very same voice saying: β€œTry to shape a bird out of your shadows.”Hazel gripped her head with one hand, ruffling her hair gently, and saying as her smile faded to an uncertain smirk. β€œShape….a bird?” She didn’t understood what the voice was intending to say; she’ll try later. For now, the main goal on her head is to escape from the flames. β€œLet’s go….before we turn into ashes.” She said towards Blaine.

"I think I can...I'm just going to head back up there. That cave was safe and I can't be sitting like prey any longer." Rubbing the back of his head as he stood up unsteadily, he could walk it's just not for long. "If any of you want to come with me feel free, I'll just be sleeping again probably." Chuckling a little before he started walking past the flaming brush of the forest, disappearing behind it as he grabbed his book once again and flipped to a page where he had a large mantis image open, placing it on the ground and drawing a small symbol on it's side. once again his hands glowed a dull light as the mantis came off the page, resizeing for him to ride on it's back, it stood now at least seven feet tall. Niles carefully climbed up on top of it after grabbing his book again and then nudged the mantis and it began walking up the mountain, Niles resting his head on it's back.

"I feel I'll be seeing Kamoku again soon." Closing his eyes and just waiting until he reached the top of the mountain seeing as not much else was to be done.

Frustrated at the fact that the girl walking might have hindered the escape, he held out his arm, "Hold onto me, if you have to," he offered abruptly, continuing to walk in the opposite direction of the flames, though mindfully slow enough so she would not lag dangerously behind.

Andrea nodded her understanding, uncertain as to how he himself would escape the fire by himself, but her worries disappeared as he showed himself more than capable, disappearing up the mountain on a summoned mantis. Feeling the pressing heat close further in upon her being, she raced off after her battle companion, dashing into the relative safety of the tree cover.

In any ways, she couldn’t just stay there like if she was waiting for something else; the fire was spreeding. She hold on the arm of the Blaine, catching her steps to follow him, looking a bit back at the fire, then forward in the direction of where they were going. Hazel wondered if she’ll met that supposed ’Kamoku’. She just shrugged off that idea and followed Blaine, breathing heavily.

"Well I suppose they will go their own ways, at least there won't be as much noise so I can sleep again." Sitting up on the mantis again as he reached the top, the mantis flaking away quickly as he began dismounting from it. Pulling his hood farther over his face to see the lightly singed edge from the fight with the creature from earlier, brushing off a little bit of ash as he continued into the cave cheerily, just glad he managed to do something today seeing as he was just lounging around for a few days. As he entered the mouth of the cave one thing caught his eye, the scythe at the feet of one of the three statues had changed shade, a more violet shade on the blade which seemed to glow a little more and more as he approached until he was standing right above it and picked it up, the color and glow leaving suddenly. "Odd, I wonder if there's more to these weapons that one could see by the naked eye..." Keeping the weapon with him as he proceeded over to the dirty mattress near the end of the cave, next to the pile of junk and rubble, falling down on it with a thud and letting the scythe clang on the ground as he fell, dropping it once he was situated on the floor whilst watching as his eyes slowly closed and back to sleep he went.

"The scouts have searched. An army approaches. Not under ten thousand, but not over twenty. It's a bad fight. We'll need reinforcements, and so far the 200-something troops we have are all Templar. We need Veiled Ones, which I can call. We also need the Mages. Kaoz, if we are to win this we need the survivors from the Crisis."

The fort, however, existed on a hill, and it was a nice-sized one.
"HEY!" She shouted to the nearby Templar. "They are approx. Seven miles away!" She heard a few groans and even a few remarks about how this would be worst than the Greek's 300.
"Skylar, how many Veiled do you have here?"

"Now come, because I am not leaving you out here by yourself," He said gruffly, gently holding onto her frame as he helped her along again, appearing unfazed by her protests. Kaoz Bloodred shook her head sadly.
"Will. The situation is bad. I've had to call in the Veiled Brotherhood. This is
Skylar, she's the head of the Veiled. In case you didn't know, the Veiled Brotherhood is part of the Rebellion, they're one of the factions like the Templar and the Mages." She tapped her metal claw-tipped vampire gloves together.
"We have 200 troops. Plus those of the Veiled. Our troops are Templar, heavy armor and some with heavy weapons, others with light weapons and a shield. The Veiled are assassins, thieves, and anyone else who can kill without being seen. They are our shadows, and they are probably our only hope."

Skylar cut Kaoz off.
"We'll need the Mages. We don't have time."

Kaoz Bloodred shook her head in response.
"No, they don't have time. We need to act. We need Arian and Eden and her sister."

"No-one's seen Izabel Ridley Blackwell in three months." Skylar challenged.
"And you think I care? She'll show up. We can count on her! We have to, because she and Eden are two very strong elementals, and Arian is a Caster." She sighed and leaned against William. Her jet-black aura pulsated from her like radiation. It was harmless, but a sign of frustration.

Skylar nodded.
"I do agree. The Mages won't make it. But it's two hundred versus a couple thousand." She looked
Kaoz dead in the eyes. "And Divina Magnus is with them."

Eden only sighed. "Alright be careful."as soon as she was sure he was gone, she climbed a nearby tree. She looked at the moon, smiling. She felt as if the moon were her connection to her sister. Her smile soon faded as she remembered the last words to her beloved older sibling as the moon clouded up... "Izzy..." She said quietly. Eden began singing, her voice was echoed softly around:
"Fate has been cruel and order unkind
How can I have sent you away?
The blame was my own; the punishment, yours
The harmony's silent today

But into the stillness I'll bring you a song
And I will your company keep
Till your tired eyes and my lullabies
Have carried you softly to sleep

Once did a girl who shone like the sun
Look out on her kingdom and sigh
She smiled and said, "Surely, there is no body
So lovely and so well beloved as I"

So great was her reign and so brilliant her glory
That long was the shadow she cast
Which fell dark upon the young sister she loved
And grew only darker as days and nights passed

Lullay moon princess, goodnight sister mine
And rest now in moonlight's embrace
Bear up my lullaby, winds of the earth
Through cloud, and through sky, and through space

Carry the peace and the coolness of night
And carry my sorrow in kind
Isabelle, you're loved so much more than you know
Forgive me for being so blind

Soon did that girl take notice that others
Did not give her sister her due
And neither had she loved her as she deserved
She watched as her sister's unhappiness grew

But such is the way of the limelight, it sweetly
Takes hold of the mind of its host
And that foolish girl did nothing to stop
The destruction of one who had needed her most

Lullay moon princess, goodnight sister mine
And rest now in moonlight's embrace
Bear up my lullaby, winds of the earth
Through cloud, and through sky, and through space

Carry the peace and the coolness of night
And carry my sorrow in kind
Isabelle, you're loved so much more than you know
May troubles be far from your mind
And forgive me for being so blind

The years now before us
Fearful and unknown
I never imagined
I'd face them on my own

May these thousand winters
Swiftly pass, I pray
I love you; I miss you
All these miles away

May all your dreams be sweet tonight
Safe upon your bed of moonlight
And know not of sadness, pain, or care
And when I dream, I'll fly away and meet you there
Sleep...

Kamoku wondered why he let his pray go away so easily. It seems that it was right in front of him, and easy just to catch. Yet, he flee from the scene, leaving the prey in peace and liberty. What perplexed him more is that it was the same prey that he thought having killed recently. Maybe it was an illusion, or the being reincarnated in that… being. He wasn’t even sure if his prey was a demon anymore, seems that he already captured the corruption of his prey in the crystal of his. Any ways he took it, Ankin wasn’t a threat to the Dark Ones anymore, and doubt that his reincarnation would do much damage than what Ankin was able to do. Kamoku decided that he would let the being roam in the forest, and maybe it would be even funnier to met his prey again.

He wasn’t sure what to do; he could easily go forward and relax in the plains, but when he saw that the sun was setting, he smirked softly. Remembering his team mates, Divina was supposed to lead an attack to one of the fort of the Good ones. He didn’t want to interrupt his fun, but he could at least spectate it. Due to the shadows stretching, it was much faster to travel in the shadows than by feet. Like if he was teleporting. His body merged with the shadow, and he set his way to the fort.
β€’ β€’ β€’
After few minutes, he arrived near the battlefield, but he watched from a far, with a smirk on his face, crossing his arms.

β€œLet see how he does in this attack.”

On her way to the place with Blaine, she heard the voice again.

β€œYou have to open the book, you’ll see why…”

She looked down at the book, seeing it was still sealed with those big red ribbon. Hazel shook her head, holding it; she refused to do so. The voice only sighed, and never spoke another word. Although, deep inside of her, she felt like she is needed somewhere else than she is. Like if someone was calling her. It would be impossible, since she was, after all, new to this world. However, she couldn’t just ignore; it was stronger than her.

She squirmed herself out of Blaine’s grip, and looked up at him.

β€œI’m sorry to leave you like that, and I know I’m heavily injured, but I feel someone calling me.”

Suddenly, her shadow morphed into a bird, which was bigger than her, and was able to carry her on its back. By instinct, she gripped on the shadow, and the bird spreads its wings and flew up into the sky, and went into a direction which she didn’t ordered to, but it was where she needed to be.

"It is time." Arian said solemnly. By now he was wondering if it was the right thing to do, to leave Eden alone for this short while. He wondered if he should have brought her...

Arian easily sensed his love coming up from behind him, and he turned around.
"Eden! Why did you follow me?" He asked. He opened his mouth to say something further, but stopped when he was red light bathed around him. He turned to see his portal was now red.
He backed away slowly.
"Ohh... Nononononononono... No... I shouldn't ha-"

"-ve left the portal open so long?"
A familiar, yet malicious deep voice resonated. A skinny figure in a dark, shadowy robe stepped out of the door. It was already nearly sunset, and the light of the portal played with the shadows and made his silhouette all the more scarier. He looked up to reveal emotionless yellow eyes. Eyes like pools of molten gold, flat yet endlessly deep. They seemed to search your mind and soul and tear apart at everything you know.
The darkness literally shifted, writhed, and flailed around him like smoke in the wind. A purple aura of evil resonated from his body.
Yet... His pale face bore a smile.

"Ahhh... Arian. Eden. Long time no see, yes?" Asked the evil figure. The red light of the portal started fading a bit, but he flicked his hand upwards, and it grew brighter. The portal stayed for now.

Arian was unfazed and stood his ground. He was shaking violently, however. Arian knew it wasn't something he could control. The man had a cloak of fear, nothing could be in it's presence and not be scared... Unless, of course, they were more powerful. More powerful than the Dark Caster. One of the two Dark Ones. The Lich King, the deal-dealer. This evil man was-

"Divina Magnus. It's been so long." He said almost sadly. "Arian, I came here to stop you from using the portal, and to have a second attack point on the army... But you and this girl are so useless. It would be impossible to do anything against me. I'll leave now, and let you gather your family. By the way, did you know? Tonight is a full moon! Beautiful! But it's more than just a full moon. It's a Blood Moon."
Divina started back towards the portal, then stopped. "Oh, and Arian. Your niece is safe. She joined us you know. You haven't seen her in a few years, but she turned Dark last year. Yes... She's an Evo." And with that, he stepped into the portal.

Arian had gasped at his last words.
"An Evo..." He whispered. "This is bad news..." He said and shivered. He half expected demons to pour from the portal, but was relieved when it turned lime-green again.
He looked to Eden. "She's an Evo, Eden... She's one of the most powerful Dark Casters, just under a Cataclyst, she's an Evo... T-they are known to be incredibly powerful... They can influence people, like a Siren can, but they can also Evolve, such as morphing into other people or into anyone. Any animal. Any demon, any monster. They are feared by other Casters, and my niece is one!" After another shiver, he grabbed Eden gently.
"We have to find my brother... We need him and the family for this war."

When Arian went to grab her, her skin was fiery hot and she was sweating and panting. The scare from Divinia had caused another episode from her illness. She had only had one other spell before and she almost didn't make it out of it. She fell on to her knees, not looking up at Arian. Her arms shook violently as she coughed repetitively. Her skin was as white as snow. The only person who could help her was her sister. But, her sister had been missing fro around three months. Anyone that knew Eden well enough to hear about her illness feared if her sister were not around when it happened, she would die in a matter of days... The only thing they could do for her was pray for the best.

Arian was shocked about Eden's current state. But he didn't let it freeze him up, no, he picked her up and stepped through the portal.
On the other side, they ended up at a large coastline mansion. It was in Florida, but since there was only a very, very small sliver of Florida left, it was more like the south coast of Georgia. The manor was surrounded by a large stone wall, with a single cast iron gate. They appeared right in front of the gate. The gate had been open as long as the portal was, so it was open when they arrived.
"Eden. I'm going to take you inside, we'll see what we can do. It'll be fine."

Eden was still shaking softly in his arms. Her skin felt like boiling water. Which basically was what it was. Her hair was draped over her face so Arian could not see her trying to keep her eyes open. For if she didn't, she would enter a coma. Her fingertips held onto him lightly as if too try and tell him what was happening. Her breathing had slowed tremendously, but far from enough to kill her.

Noel Deiheir

Noel swiftly swept herself into the tree tops, her pure white hair flowing along behind her. A smile was spread across her face for she had finally escaped her sister. She was in solitude now. She opened her book and began reading.

Kamoku could feel something in the air. Not that he smells something odd, but the general feel of the air made him believe one thing; tonight, it is a blood moon. It was the perfect time to him to cause to mischiefs. He thought, after few seconds, that it was better to find that girl before she understood who she is, or at least, become strong as that demon, or even stronger. He once against traveled through the shadows, appearing on top of a mountain that was near the forest that they were in.
β€’ β€’ β€’
When he arrived there, much faster because of the shadows that were more connected than earlier. He walked down the mountain, and felt something else that caught his mind, which lead him in the opening into a cave. He entered it, ignoring the statues, and he walked up to the sleeping Niles. He smirked softly, looking at the scythe that Raven used to have.

β€œIt could always be useful to have her on my side.” He said as he took the scythe, and he took the soul out of it, and flick it out.

β€œCome on, Raven, rise from your sleep!” he said like if it was an order. Although, he didn’t taint her soul.

Hazel soon arrived into some kind of an open area, where three giant rocks. They were completely flat on one side, which was facing her, and rounded up in the back. They were linked with a big brown string, which red pieces of what looked like leather were hanging. There were strange inscriptions on it, and when se squinted her eyes, the words suddenly started to switch places and transform into actual letters she could read. Hazel shook her head, and glanced at it, but the symbols got back to normal.

β€œMuch be the wounds…” she mumbled to herself, thinking it was just hallucinations. She heard the voice again.

”Open the book…”

She shook her head in a refusal. The girl promised herself not to open it. However, her curiosity picks on; what is so important about the book, and how does it all relates to this place? She disobeyed herself, and unsealed the book, and it suddenly opened, glowing white. She screamed in surprise, throwing the book away, as the tome levitated on its own, and a portal opened in front of her. She smiled like the child she is, and ran into the portal without questioning.
β€’ β€’ β€’
When she arrived on the other side, she was in front some kind of immense Japanese temple. Her mouth dropped, and she got into the sanctuary, looking around.

β€œHello?” she said out loud as he looked around, getting into the building. It felt empty, but peaceful in the same time. She smiled; she felt like if it was her own home, and went to the pond in the backyard, where a magnificent cherry blossom tree. She felt that closer she was to it, more it was calm around her.

β€œBeautiful, isn’t it?” A strange male voice said. It was a bit harsh, but calm. Hazel turned around to face the stranger, and almost fell on the ground. What was surprising her is that the stranger is an anthropomorphic black dragon. It was wearing a quite colorful kimono, and its eyes were purple. It had a smile upon its face, and it chuckled softly. Hazel wasn’t sure if it was a male or a female, since the voice was sounds like from a young male, almost a female one. Then she realize that it was its territory, and she bowed down.

β€œI’m sorry!” she said, shaking. The dragon chuckled lightly, helping her up.

β€œDon’t worry; I don’t eat people.”He said, making sign to follow it. She nodded and followed.

β€œSo… where are we?” she asked, but the dragon didn’t talk. They arrived in a meeting room, suiting the style of the temple, and hot tea was already prepared. They knelt down on black pillows, which made easier for their knees. The dragon offered some tea to Hazel, which she accepted, and took a sip before talking.

β€œWe are in another realm, dear. More precisely, my realm.” It smiled towards her. She was impressed; all that space, just for that creature. β€œNow, I’m not the only one here, obviously there is you, but also some very dangerous creature. This realm is more like a prison where everyone can kill themselves. The only safe place is here.” Hazel felt relief from what the dragon said. It might have to do with the tree.

β€œNow, the real reason why you’re over here is that you are the reincarnation of my loyal servitor.” Hazel looked surprised, but made no comment. The dragon continued with his explanation: β€œYou see; he died recently died from an evil force. Normally, his soul would wander off until I come to pick it up and resurrect him, but the problem is that, he knew that I wouldn’t have time before the evil force would taint his soul, making him under the force’s power. He decided to use the power he left and sacrifice his memories to reach a new form, thus making it impossible for the evil force to catch him.” Hazel wondered if it has anything to do with the guy who attacked her recently.

The dragon smiled at her. β€œNow, my question is, would you like to follow the same path?” Hazel thought for a moment, putting the tea down. On one hand, that dragon must know more than she does on everything, and even herself. On the other hand, she doesn’t know how much liberty she would have. Although, she guessed, it is better to feel safe, than always wonder about everything. She smiled towards the dragon, nodding.

β€œYes. I would like it.”

The dragon nodded. Hazel felt something burning on her right shoulder. It was a symbol of some sort, and the dragon said: β€œIf anyone wonders about it, say that it is your β€˜family’ crest.” Hazel nodded again. ”Whenever you’re ready, I have something you need to do. The rest will come with time.” Hazel nodded.

β€œI’m ready,” she said already. She wanted to stay more for the peacefulness, but she had to move like the world moves.

The dragon nodded, giving her some kind of document. β€œYou see, there is a war going on with Earth, and I don’t like how it will turn out. I think it would be nice if you could help them. You’ll be looking for Kaoz; I’m sure she’ll know where to direct you to.” Hazel nodded, and the dragon indicated that she could dispose, saying: β€œThere should be a gate near were you arrived from. Use it” and Hazel walked away, leaving the quiet place, and walks through the portal.
β€’ β€’ β€’
When she reached the other side, she grabbed the book and sealed it with the red ribbon, casting her trusty shadow bird to fly. She opened the document, which was a map where Kaoz should be. She said her way there.

Still he could get no sleep it appeared, he could feel some disturbance, a nightmare about to come to him? No it wasn't that but it did feel like someone was there with him. Beginning to roll around a little so he could shake off the feeling he had fallen off of the matress and slowly opened his eyes which flashed open at the sight of Kamoku and an eerie light with a violet tint resting three feet away from him.

"Kamoku..why...what are you doing?" His voice revealing the fear and confusion he had, all he wondered was why must this world be so chaotic, so rowdy, so wrong? Standing up he just stared at the unknown entity, the shadows from the cave being pulled into it and leaving light instead behind for a few seconds before shadows returned to the walls while the entity took shape of a person lying on the ground and the shadows around it dispersed. Without a moments hesitation he lunged at Kamoku with his right fist back, he knew it was a bad idea but he just couldn't stand being tormented by this man and wanted to release his anger, letting out a yell as he drew closer.

Raven Farcri

For years she had sat there staring at a black void, unable to feel or hear anything. Every now and then she had done much thinking, was her previous life before she was brought down to this real? Just like a dream she could only remember small parts of it after waking up, was this what everything really was? Just a continous sight of a void with nothing else? Even if it was a false reality created by her strange mind she longed to return, have her body back, see her friends...imaginated beings...whatever they were she didn't care. Hope began slipping out of her over that time until two figures were standing near her, on holding what ppeared to be a scythe and the other lunging at said one with scythe. Right there she could feel cold, hard, and gritty while her vision changed more until all she saw were two hands on a rock floor and black hair hanging around her. Joy overcame her and a few tears ran off her face then hitting the ground, she was back, actually back where she could live her life whether it was fake or not.

Kamoku was filled with an emotion he has long forgotten. It was new to him, like if he just discovered a new thing that he never saw before, but he knew what it was; happiness. He was flowed with happiness, even though it only showed outside as a wide smile, which only seems to be evil due to his physical appearance. He knew that Niles was awake, and this last one said: β€œKamoku…why...what are you doing?” Fear could be feel from a mile away, and so it made Kamoku laugh.

β€œOh, don’t worry. It is the least evil thing you’ll see me doing.” He said, but he felt something connecting into his back, and give quite a blow. He fell upon the ground, and Kamoku’s shadow grew. He looked back at Niles as the shadow grew on the kid’s body, and a hand gripped his neck, lifting him into the air.

β€œLook, kid,” he said, raising the scythe to his neck, β€œif you so dearly wanna stay alive, I would suggest to you to not bother me and my Raven, else…” he didn’t finish his sentence, and the hand threw Niles away, making him land 10 feet away from them. Kamoku sighed; for once, he doesn’t want to kill, someone just wants to fight.

Kamoku walked up the Raven with a big smile on his face. β€œWelcome back, Raven, I’ve missed you so much…” he knelt down to the ground, and held her body close to his. It was odd for him to do so, since he used to be the kid who didn’t let any emotion show through, but with Raven, it was different. Raven was the only person that he fully thrust. Not even Melancholy, which made him convert to the Dark Ones, was of his thrust, which is why he planned something soon against that guy. It felt that being private him from something essential, but what? He had no clue. Maybe it was just an illusion, but there were few attachment to Melancholy.

Raven, on the other hand, was his childhood friend, and the only one. She helped him from being less alone, due to the powers that he has. Other people considered him as a child that should have been killed, but Raven told the contrary. In some way, he should be thankful more often to Raven, because she may be the reason why he lives.

Forcing his fist foward as he grew closer to Kamoku with great anger he felt contact and gave a small smile as he then tripped when landing and fell on the side of his face, groaning quietly as he was then picked up and tossed out, landing on his face this time and a trickle of blood came from his nose.

"D-damn...why am I so weak?" Clenching his teeth while a multiple teth sprouted from his mouth until there were rows of jagged teeth lined all down his throat, his normal eeth sharpening and splitting to match the others.

"I...I just want this entire thing to end." He said under his breath while a strange low ringing sound came from his body.

Raven Farcri

She gasped hearing that voice, it sounded strangely familiar but she couldn't remember and froze, her mind trying to remember and she just didn't do anything as she was grabbed and held, her body weakly shaking. Her eyes then looked at the face and slowly it came back to her, a face of shock and happiness as she spoke in a quivering and quiet voice "K-Kamoku..?" Then closing her eyes she removed him and then carefully tried standing, tripping up a little before stabilizing. Looking quietly outside the cave she just stared at the Blood moon that rose from behind the mountains, her eyes changing to a faded crimson color as she looked back to Kamoku, a few more tears going down her face as she ran back and hugged him.

"I can't believe it, I'm back!" Pulling her face away and looking at him and seeing the marks and his eyes. Taking a moment to look around she saw the three she fought alongside before something happened that brought her to where she previously was. Also a boy with a strange noise emitting from his body was on the ground next to them.

"What happened..? Ruin, Scorch, Rot...what happened to them and that kid over there? What happened to you?" It wasn't often you would see her with a scared facial expression since she didn't want to show weakness no matter who was there usually.

Arian C. Fay carried Eden through the gate, and up the steps. Beside him, his brother appeared in the same manner Arian would have.
Angelo L. Fay smiled brightly.
"Arian! I knew I sensed your presence! What a n- who's that?" He asked, seeing Eden. He glided oer thr floor, towards them. "She looks ill."

Arian sighed.
"Quit copying my powers, brother." He said. Then he looked down to her. "We were coming to ask for help. The Rebellion has seen better days. It hasn't seen worse. Tonight, 20,000 troops of the Dark Ones march forth to take over a fort guarded by 200 troops, some of the Veiled including Skylar, and some of the Founders including me, Eden, Kaoz and William."

Angelo gasped. "What?! Why would so many of the Rebellion powers be in one place?!"
Arian sighed, again. "Brother. It's the last fort of Texas. This battle is a major turning point in the war. We either win it and keep a foothold or lose it and lose another, major state. Plus, tonight is going to be a Blood Moon. We need your help, brother."
Angelo nodded, then looked down to Eden. "She's ill. With what, I can't be certain. Bring her in. He led Arian in and nodded when he laid her on the living room couch. "I'll go get Lily and Ken."

Kaoz was becoming uneasy. Something was in the air. Something evil. She'd felt this before, twice before. On her 100th birthday, and on the day Divina became Dark.
It was in the air. A Blood Moon was rising.
She looked to the horizon, where the sun had just touched the ground, bathing the sky red. The moon hadn't risen yet, but it would peer over the horizon a beautiful crimson and enhance any and all evil powers. It could be good, considering even the Rebellion has some creatures of Darkness, people evil by nature but still believe in the Rebellion's cause. Of course, the whole opposing army would be stronger too.

They felt it before they heard it. The heard it before they saw it.
The ground quaked, and it was a deathly sensation.
Second, a low rumble quickly turned to the sound of billions of booms.
Third, a black line appeared on the horizon. Seven miles away across the plains.
Kaoz quickly assessed the battle field. It was a flat plain, with occasional hills. There were multiple trenches near the fort. The fort itself was a stone structure surrounded by a stone wall with a wooden pike fence outside the wall. Many tents were inside the fort. Some tents harbored troops, but most were outside, on the walls, or in the trenches. Kaoz and William, along with Skylar, were on the wall with the gate, looking out to the horizon.

The army grew larger. They completely covered the horizon, now, no matter where you looked there was a dark line on the horizon.
Kaoz's breath stopped for a second. She looked to William.
"They've surrounded us. They will attack at midnight... But the worst part, we're trapped here until then unable to do anything. Arian and Eden better get here quick or we're screwed. Of course, they can only get here by portal now. No one can get in or out by land, it has to be by air or other means. I hope some sort of surprise backup is coming." She said, then leaned against William.

Kamoku smiled softly; Raven was already walking. After all these years, he thought that it would be impossible to find her. However, she is there, right in front of his eyes, living. He chuckled softly, but the vibes that normally drives him insane started to feel bigger as he watched Niles.

β€œI…I don’t know Raven…” he said weakly, as he grabbed his chest, and coughed. He wasn’t weak at all, but it feels like if he was going to pass out. He tried to deny the effect of the blood moon. He tried and tried, without result.

β€œI’m sorry Raven… I wish we’ve met under better circumstances…” he said as his own shadow crawled up on him, enveloping. Before that his face disappeared from Raven’s sight, there was a tear left, and it bursted into flames as he took the form that only happens during a blood moon. His body shaped to make a ball of fire and shadow appear under his feet, and his legs disappeared. Horns grew, and his eyes were replaced by holes with fire in them. Red lines was drawn across his body. His shaping was so drastic, he didn’t even look remotely human. He was a shadow, shaped for destroying, seeming that he couldn’t have any reasoning. The beast now howled of all its might, glancing down at Niles, seeming to look like if he was its next victim. Raven was the only one that could stop him before anything turns to the worst.

Hazel watched as the sun got down, and the moon tinted in a red rise up. She found it magnificent, and quite attractive, but she shook her head and concentrate on her main goal; finding Kaoz. She looked down, and saw many, many beings.

β€œRise up!” she said loudly as the bird flew up above the clouds. It much what the dragon was talking about. She hopped that her bird could go faster, and so it did, reaching the fort in matter of seconds. The bird got down in the field of the fort, and she looked up at the three beings, but more specifically to the vampire one. β€œAre you Kaoz?” she asked, getting down of the shadow bird as it disappeared. β€œI’ve been requested to assist.” She walked up to them, feeling her heart beating rapidly. She didn’t know any spell from the book, and yet; she felt like if it is normal that she could do anything she wanted. Hazel gripped her book hardly, but she smiled softly towards them. It felt natural.

The sounds coming off of him body became higher pitched, more frequent and soon it was at a point where it was like a siren, echoeing throughout the vicinity. Slowly he pushed himself up with his hands and got on his knees just staring at the wall with a blank face, slowly turning his head to the demon standing before him.

"I'm going to die...I'm going to die..." Staggering up to his feet with tears running down his face yet still barely anything emotion could be seen on his face, it really didn't seem like he was scared. Slowly he began walking towards the monster but suddenly heavy breathing came from two different places on him as if he had multiple mouths. Turning his palms up two mouths could be seen, one for each hand along with each one matched with rows and rows of jagged teeth going all the way up the arms just like his mouth. Stopping infront of it, about five feet away he raised one hand and held the right mouth in it's direction, a quiet noise sounding like something was building up and it just continued growing louder every second.

"I-I don't...I don't want to die!" An ear-piercing screech bellowed from the mouth, throwing dust in the air, cracking the stone in it's path, and throwing a forceful gust foward.

"Great cause we need all the help we can get. Thank-you for your assistance. Speaking of assistance I have some on the way," William as a small dragon came through the sky, it was barely large enough to fit the two riders on its back. One with red hair, the other with dark blond hair. The dragon landed lightly on the wall, the two riders got of of it.
The younger one with red hair ran to William. "William, I'm glad to see you! Why did you leave me with uncle Samuel? The guys a bore," he said
"I am not your uncle," said the other he kept his expression calm, but he was actually happy inside. "Sorry I had to take care of some stuff," said William. William spoke again "Kaoz I know I mentioned them to you before, they are Samuel Oakwood the rat trickster and Shawn Brion the fox trickster" "Well now that we are here let's get this party started!" yelled Shawn. Kaoz Bloodred was unperturbed by the showing up of the tricksters. She knew the story and legend about them. But when Hazel had appeared, Kaoz froze, and sensing her tense, four Templar knights in steel armor immediately aimed their pikes right at hazel, defensively.
"State your buisness immediately!" a Templar said. Kaoz rose a hand, and he hushed. She waved it, and they all stood straight, pikes pointed up and away from Hazel.
But Kaoz was still weary.

Skylar stepped from the shadows next to Kaoz.
"She's a creature of darkness, I can tell already."

Under normal circumstances, Kaoz would have rolled her eyes and clocked whoever said that over the head. But this was Skylar, general and leader of the Veiled Ones. No, Kaoz would keep her uniform and powerful appearance at this moment. Her guard wouldn't be let down.
"Yes. You flew here on a shadow-conjure. A bird, more obviously. Who are you? What do you want. And if I find out you're a Dark scout-" She bared her teeth.

CRACK! The whole sky lit up at that moment and a horridly loud boom rolled across the plains. The clouds above went from a dark red in the almost-night sky to a deep maroon. Rain would come within a few moments, or within the next hour.

The beast seems emotionless in front of the boy transforming, but seeing Raven looking like she was hurt, he knew what he needed to do. He needed to protect her. Although, the boy soon made his first step, and screamed loudly, releasing a powerful blast in the air. In the moment, before to blast hit Raven, Kamoku placed himself in front of her, taking the impact for her. It was hurting, and so part of himself fell upon the ground, giving birth to dark soldiers. He ordered to the soldiers to occupy the boy with him and Raven escape from this place. Kamoku took her scythe, and wrapped himself around her as they sink into the shadows, and they traveled outside of the cave into the forest. It was only a matter of seconds, not enough to make her feel the coldness of the shadows.

Once they got a bit away from the cave, he released the grip on her, putting the scythe down, and moved away her. He may feel the only need of protecting her, but he knew how dangerous he was. The transformation he was in wasn’t totally perfected. You see; blood moons are rare, very rare, and trying to control the insane the form gave to him was limited. At least, when Raven is around him, he didn’t need to preoccupy; anything that will stand in her way will be perished by his own beast hands. He looked at her from his fiery eyes; he waited on her words. He couldn’t come normal to normal until the sun appears back to shine its light on him.

Hazel has a shock at first, not sure how to react; the sudden moving of the Templars, the woman calling her a creature of darkness, Kaoz seeming not to buy into her help, and the boy who just began to say his name was all elements that she took one by one. She placed her free hand near her neck, like if she had trouble with it or something. However, she stayed calm to the events, and cleared her voice before talking.

β€œMy name is Hazel Naganen, and I’m here on the behalf of someone… well, more something that I can’t state who it is.” In a way, she wasn’t sure if it was her talking, or if it was the voice inside her head that took her voice and talked for herself, but she was prepared to be refused, and defend herself at all cost.

"I don't want to deal with you...I want Kamoku..." He said in a low and sullen voice as he let his arm fall back to his hand as he ran back to his notebook which he dropped on the bed and without looking he grabbed multiple pages and ripped them out. As the pages threw towards the soldiers he raised his right arm with his pointer and middle finger pointing together with a dark glow around them and pointed at the pages which quickly flashed, a black skinned humanoid with blades for hands, a large beetle, and a black cutlass appeared as the light went away.

"Two out of three, good enough." A slight sound of disapointment in his tone as he dropped the book and continued towards the cutlass, taking it swiftly from the ground and running outside the cave he looked around hastily before charging towards the edge of the mountain and into the forest looking for Kamoku and the strange girl.

Raven Farcri

The pain throbbing in her head distracted her from what Kamoku was doing and she just sat there as it slowly went away. Slowly standing up a dark mist came off of her and her eyes turned to a glowing maroon, her power was released but she didn't have even close to enough to be at a full release.

"Kamoku after you return to normal I need you to tell me everything that I've missed. Aside from that are you okay? Also who is that kid, one of the Dark Ones? I don't remember ever seeing him last time I was...nevermind." Picking up her scythe and walking over to a tree she just slid down the trunk back into a sitting position. She let out a final sigh before Planting the bottom of the scythe on the ground and it grew larger, two glowing red ribbons extending from it and white etchings covering the entire blade of it. The atmospheric energies of the forest seemed to begin thinning as most of it was being drawn into the ribbon of her scythe which started glowing brighter every second from the power being brought inside of them.

"I can already feel that kid coming back, if you can try not to kill him, he's the only one with the ability speak at the moment aside from myself of course." Pulling herself up with the scythe planted on the ground.

William was glad for Kaoz's approval. Hazel's answer was unfortunately vague, Will might not have to be as strict as Kaoz, but he would need a slightly better explanation. "Well, miss Naganen I would like to trust you, but with such vague information, trusting you is a little difficult. Could you maybe give us a description of this person or thing, or maybe a name? Just about anything would be helpful. You could even tell us a little more about yourself." William's voice was very soft and filled with that encouraging tone that always helped him put people at ease.

Kamoku wasn’t expecting the guy coming back. After all, what is he after? Death? It seems like it. Either way, he couldn’t assure Raven that he won’t kill that boy, or that he could speak either. He wondered, for a moment, if he should tell the truth, or should he taint her soul like he did so many times before. He wasn’t sure, which troubles him more, and his mind couldn’t concentrate much. He needed to feel Raven; it was just too long in their separation. Kamoku wanted to hug her close to him, but he knew that it would kill her, and so he just put one of his giant hands on her shoulder. The beast tried to smile, but the lack of mouth couldn’t process this motion. Although, in some way, the lack of movement in his fiery eyes made up for the transition of emotion, if Raven could make such remarks.

Kamoku’s shadow disappeared, meaning he isn’t really there, even though Raven could feel him. Because that he didn’t know much about his odd form, he was unconsciously tainting her soul with his evilness. Although, he didn’t notice it, since that he couldn’t concentrate to see people’s soul in detail. Unless if Raven could feel such changing, it would be mostly invisible to anyone, since it doesn’t affect one physical appearance. Only time does that.

Hazel scratched the top of her head. William didn’t seem to believe her, and to be fair, she wasn’t angry about it; the lack of information would be quite considerable of a spy. Either way, she wasn’t sure of what she could say to the dragon, and tried to call it by her thoughts, but no answer was given from the creature itself. She was on her own.

β€œI guess I can describe it…” she replied softly, clearing her throat again. β€œThe thing in question is a bipedal black-scaled dragon. I’m not sure of its height, nor its weight, but it is obviously taller than us. Its eyes are purple, and it wears a quite colorful kimono. The dragon lives in a giant Japanese-style temple. Besides that, I can’t tell you more.” She said, rubbing her right hand on her left shoulder, while the right one still have the book in it.

William was a bit taken aback by Hazel's description. William had see many dragons in the past, but none of them fit that description. William had never heard of a dragon wearing a kimono.
As Hazel rubbed her shoulder William noticed the book in Hazel's hand. "miss Naganen, if you would?" said William brining her over to the edge of the wall looking at the battle field. Many of Shawn's creations were taking up places in the resistence forces. The soldiers were all getting ready for the fight
"That book, would it by any chance be a spell book? I have only seen a dozen spell books in my life, but that looks to be something of the sort."

"Kamoku! Where are you!?" He shouted out from the thick brush of the forest. Continueing his frantic run through the forest he saw a red glow in the distance and broke into a sprint with the cutlass held low. Around a tree he could see a feminine shadow standing motionless so he did a quick turn around the tree and pounced foward, the shadow having no body while holding onto his own shadow.

"What in the world..? Let me go!" Falling into a panic as he couldn't move all of the sudden, his shadow being held by whatever was on the ground wouldn't allow him to move. Looking around wondering what to do he noticed a pair of eyes watching him from the darkness that appeared to be moving closer.

iAs Kamoku was standing by her she just kind of ignored him for a moment as she felt something strange as if half of her was becoming heavier.

"He's here...maybe I can trap him and then have some fun slowly kill..." Her tone seeming more malicious as she spoke and stopping halfway on the word "Killing" she held her open hand over her mouth wondering where that came from, she wouldn't have been absolutely kind to this boy but she didn't think of going that far, what was with her she wondered. Walking away she saw a small opening in the brush where the blood moon shed light and she pointed to it as her shadow walked over the a tree and got into a casual standing position. A few seconds later her normally small crystal that sat in her necklace flashed red and she fell to the ground as the strange boy appeared. Standing up again she looked at him with an unusual grin, raising her right arm and swiping it to the side, her shadow grabbing the boy's shadow and holding him in place.

"Heh, perfect. I now get to speak to him." Speaking softly and in a quiet volume as she approached him, stepping into the light one of her maroon eyes seemed darker than the other along with some of the hair on the right side of her head was white. Spinning the scythe in her fingers a little she stopped it right against his cheek and sliding it a little making a small cut, the blood that dripped going being pulled onto the sharp side of the blade.

"So how shall I do this..?" Giggling a little as she lowered the scythe and put her hand on his cutlass, shadows running down it and then constricting it until it shattered and then continueing them until the rest of his body was wrapped in it. Pulling back her hand the shadows disconnected from her, strolling a few feet away before looking over her shoulder with a wicked smile.

"Kamoku, he's all yours"

Kamoku felt something in himself; when she said about slowly killing that child, it felt more like an order than just talking. His mind was a mist of ideas, but he didn’t mind killing that child. In fact, he liked the idea. He watched over her as she walked around, and then he saw her trapping the kid with her shadow. He smirked inside. Kamoku watched Raven with her unusual behavior. He didn’t know what happened, but he liked it, looking at the blood going down to the scythe’s blade. He liked the scenery. He waited for her to do something, or at least calling him. He wasn’t sure. She said that she wanted him alive first, but then, she is just there, being devious. Although, when she said it was all his, he locked on his prey.

Kamoku rose from the shadows near them as a dark mist flew down his body. He slowly made his way towards the kid, and fire was set around him, even on Niles. The beast wanted to have fun. Niles’ body levitated into the air. Kamoku’ sharp claws dragged around the kid’s limbs, outlining where it connects to his chest, dipping the tip of his claw into the kid’s flesh. He then moved to his back, and literally clawed his back to deep; we could see Niles’ backbones. Kamoku felt good about it. The blood adheres to his claws, even though it is made of shadows. He then processed to rip his body limb by limb. His right arm… his right leg… his left leg… his right arm… Kamoku let the body hit the floor, and he stabbed his claws into Niles’ chest, literally ripping the kid’s poor soul out of him, leaving a gory mess that was his body.

Kamoku absorbed the soul by his arm, and he looked back at Raven, wondering if she was as delighted as he was about all the kid’s guts around the forest. He was in an ecstasy.

Hazel nodded, following William behind him, and she kept a smile on her face. She looked down at the book when William asked about it; it was a spell book. She could feel it, and she knew because of what happened earlier. Although, she doesn’t use it very much for the moment. Only time will tell if she needs it. For now, she answered to question.

β€œYes, it is. I’m not entirely sure of what is the content of it, but it is a spell book,” He said, looking down at the symbols on it. She told to herself, she’ll would be able to describe what it says, but for now, it just feels like if she was dyslexic. Hazel looked up towards William, smiling. β€œI’m sorry that I don’t have much information about it; I recently lost my memory, but I don’t think it matters right now.” She chuckled softly, but she looked worried after. β€œI am risking something by being able to do those conjures? I mean… looking by those two, I don’t think I’m much welcome here.” She looked toward William, worried.

William gave Hazel a smile leaning against the wall. "Your conjures aren't really the problem. It's just the time we are about to head into a very very dangerous fight and most of our enemies use abilities fuelled by the same power your using. There are a lot of people out their who use magic like yours. Some good, unfortunately most evil," on the last part William touched his scar lightly.
William put down his hand put a smile back on his face and wanted to change the topic. "So you lost your memory huh. Well then we have something in common"
Shawn passed out a little farther down the wall, but Samuel caught him. Shawn was so young and new to his powers and often passed out like this.

She giggled with happiness as she just listened to the bloodshed without moving from where she stood until it was over, turning back to Kamoku with a horrified look, switching gaze between him and the corpse.

"W-what did you do? Why..? How could you do something so...so beautiful." Her voice transitioning from a scared and innocent sound to a malicious and devious sound. The taint within her soul seemed to fade in and out every so often. Giggling a little louder her body was slowly covered in shadows that rose from the ground until it fully covered her making a kind of shadow suit.

"I think I'm going to try and find some of the others...I wonder where they are. Then again we could try and find a way to bring them to us, yes that does seem to be simpler. I think I left some of my old books in Ruin's cave, if you need me I'll be there." Her voice sounding slightly muffled from under the suit which had a tentacle come out that grabbed onto her scythe. Closing her eyes she sank down into the ground and through the shadows of the forest she scaled back up into the mountains and into the cave, rising from the ground again. Looking around the dark soldiers were gone but pieves of paper with strange drawings on them layed there while relatively near there was a notebook to which she picked up intrigued in what it may do. Opening up the tattered notebook there were multiple drawings filling it that she saw while skimming through until she reached the end finding the signature "Niles Sheer".

"Maybe that's who the kid was...either way it doesn't matter now that he's dead though I guess." Shrugging as on the last page there was also a kind of guide on how to utilize this book effectively, it was used for drawn summon magic probably so she strolled over to a rock and sat, studying the guide and pictures contently.

Kaoz Bloodred had entered her tent while William and Hazel proceeded to talk. There was less than 3 hours left until the massacre. She saw no chance of survival right now. She put on her black light armor and her metal-tipped gauntlets. She fastened her sword to her side, put her dagger in her boot, then walked out. Her hood and cowl were down, but now she was nearly unrecognisable from how she was moments before. Before she put the armor on, she looked like a teenager. She looked around 18. Now, she looked like an adult and her posture, the way she stood, said leader.
"Attention!" She hollered. Instantly, the Templar that were goofing off, the one who were resting, and even the ones actually paying attention, stood straight and stopped what they were doing.
"In approximately three hours, they will attack. That won't be good, not at all. But there's something else you need to know. Most likely, they'll be sending scouts. It's dark out here. Keep a look out. And the Blood Moon gives them way more power than a full moon." She looked at each and every soldier that was there with her. "Plus they might even send small waves after us. So..." She sighed. "Just do your best. We'll pull through this."

Arian sighed.
"Eden, honey. It's okay. We're at my brother's house." He looked to Lillian. "It's been so long. You too, brother." He said. He kept looking at them, but this time there was more sadness in his eyes.
"I heard about her... She joined the Dark Ones."

Kamoku seems to be quite confused; he thought he would be rejected for what he had done, but after only seconds she talked to him, she appreciated the scenery as well. It left him perplex on what was up with her; after all, she was his best friend, and it was the first time that he saw her having mixed emotions. The beast nodded when she said that she will get back into the cave, and he thought that he had no business in there anymore. Now, he could watch the battle without anything on his mind, because, well, he couldn’t find the other girl in the forest. Without Raven’s knowing, he had been traveling multiple times around the forest already. It was done through the shadows. In any situation, his body slowly sank into the shadow, moving to the battlefield.

β€’ β€’ β€’

After only a matter of seconds, Kamoku arrived at the battlefield. He was farther away, since he felt the troops were getting closer. He thought it would be a matter of three hours before they reach the building, which makes him hope that it would be interesting. Maybe he’ll participate with them, but time will tell that, since he felt that Divina had already everything planned out, and Kamoku’s help would be superficial.

β€œOh really? Well, I feel less stupid about myself then,” she chuckled softly. It felt good to know that she wasn’t the only one forgetting something. On the announcement of the enemy troops, she sighed softly. She didn’t quite understand why she was battling with them, and most specially why would people battle? It doesn’t make sense in her mind. Although, she simply smiled slightly.

β€œWell, I should work in the use of the book.” She said out loud, to herself of course, but in some way, it was also directed towards William. Hazel removed the book's ribbon, and it opened in front of her, levitating. Hazel got use to that with the first time it did it. She flipped through the pages, and there was something that only she could see. The way that she saw how to cast one of the spells aren’t by words, but it was some kind of grid with guiding holes, and she was the one needed to complete the puzzle. Hazel tilted her head; she didn’t need such a thing to cast the bird, but she couldn’t complain since she didn’t know much about her power. To William’s view, the book contains an odd symbol-based text language, and few sketches were found throughout the book. When Hazel found a spell that she quite liked the effects, she started to solve the puzzle. This action made her eyes change color to a purple tint.

β€œIt is quite… interesting.” She said towards William. Hazel allowed herself to discussion because he needs time to understand the way this book helps her, and maybe William could assist her with the book. She wasn’t sure if William could see the same as she does, not that she would mind either.

"Yes, it is quite interesting. This language is extremely old, I don't even know what the name of it is," said William. "You know, several of the magic books I have come across could only be read by their wielders."
"Well Hazel if you have no objections I would like to try a different method of interrogation. When I lost my memory prior to the age of sixteen I spent a good deal of time trying to find those lost memories. I never did get my memories back, but if your willing I could skim over yours to make sure you are telling the truth." said William.
Kaoz was suited up quite well, he new he would have to speed this along to help in the battle. With Arian missing along with Eden, the resistance would need to pool all resources, especially since Divina was here.

Hazel didn’t know if she could allow such things. Knowing her leader, the dragon, she wasn’t sure if she had the rights to let William the possibility revealing its identity. She tried to stay concentrated on the puzzle she stared at, even though she gave quick glance towards the boy too. She wasn’t sure either how to do the puzzle, and even with the guidelines, it was hard. After few seconds William said his sentences, she heard a familiar voice talking in her head:

”Let him invade your mind… I want to have a talk with this guy.”

Hazel restraint herself to say anything or even make a simple nod; it would ruin the privacy of that little monologue. She quit her puzzle for now, and looked up towards William, saying: β€œYes… I wouldn’t mind if you check on my memory, if that can reassure you.” Her voice was warmer, and she gave a little innocent smile. Hazel wondered what that thing reserved to the boy, but she didn’t feel that it would be much evil. Afterall, the dragon didn’t appear to be hostile, not evil. It was calm, like the tree that she saw.

William pulled fro his pocket a chain, on the end it had a lock. The lock was of obsidian and ebony. "I'll just have a quick look I won't peer into anything to personal, but if you really lost your memory your head won't have too many picture," said William. William called them pictures because when he had went into his own head several months after becoming a trickster his mind was a white space stretching on forever, but it had images relating to different moments in time.
William placed his hand on Hazel's forehead lightly then said "The mind of the willing shall open" at first it was normal the mind began to open up. The pictures started to come into focus and suddenly everything went black. This wasn't right. The darkness began to crawl around William going up his legs. He held out the lock saying "mind close," but it didn't.
Then the darkness increased it's speed swallowing William whole. He felt like he couldn't breath no air to his lungs and suddenly air once again found it's way into his lungs.
William fell to his knees panting for air. The place he was in was infinite darkness with absolutely nothing around him. That is except for the the black scaled, purpled eyed, dragon wearing a kimono simply vibrant in colors.

Hazel relaxed herself. She thought that William would need calm during the reading of her mind, even though he said that she might not have much to be observed. When she felt his hand touching her forehead, she closed her eyes, not moving of an inch. She wasn’t sure what was going on; it was like if she could feel William in her mind, but he was still physically outside of her. It was a weird feeling. She felt the boy moving, saying something that she didn’t quite understand, and when she felt that William wasn’t there, she opened her mind, he was there anymore. She immediately froze; William seems to be distance, looking in the darkness of his eyes. She shivered, but didn’t panic for much, nor alert anymore. She was new to everything, and wasn’t sure how to react. She closed her eyes once again, trying to calm herself down, concentrating to how to solve the puzzle herself. She pictured the thread, the grid, the guidelines and even the book in her mind. If that wasn't enough, she tried to communicate to the dragon if it could offer some help.

The dragon chuckled. It was black scaled, having purple eyes and wore a vibrant kimono. There was no sign of gender, and it was even harder with its genderless voice that he use. Even though the place was of an infinite darkness, the place they were in smell a slight fragrance of tea and cherry, calming. ”Sorry for all of this. I forgot how people still need to breathe when they are transported mentally.” The dragon smirked, kneeing down to the boy, offering a smile. β€œI mean no harm, young trickster, but I can’t let you know what Hazel knows, and what she doesn’t.” The dragon helped William up to his feet. β€œNow, I know you have a lot of questions, and so little time, so I offer you to ask them all in once, then you shall get back to your body, with your mind knowing the answers. Sounds good?” The bipedal creature didn’t seems to be hostile, still smiling towards its guest.

The dragon smiled before William was engulfed by the shadow again. When he came back to his body, he knew the answers in his mind, like if the dragon told him personally. For the first question, it was because of Hazel had memories that nobody should discover of, and that she shouldn’t see either. The second question it was because peace needed to be brought back, and the dragon thought there were more chances with her being on the Rebellion than being with the Dark ones. Although, there wasn’t any way to tell which he was rooting for. For the third one, there was no answer. The creature only told that it was a personal matter, and William shouldn’t know about it. Only time will tell. There was a hint regrets and anger in the last answer.

Hazel opened up her eyes as she saw that William was moving normally again, with his eyes gaining its coloration. She smiled softly; for once, she was worried for something other than herself. Even so, she hoped that everything was alright.

β€œAre you… ok?” she asked softly with her warm voice. She wasn’t sure if William was alright or not, but since his eyes was back to normal, she felt that everything was ordinary, and there shouldn’t be anything to be worried about.

"uh... yeah. I'm good, I just talked with a Dragon that had black scales, purple eyes and wore a vibrant kimono. It was beautiful light and elegant. "This is kind of my badge around here. If anybody asks show it to them, they'll know this means your an ally," said William handing her the feather.
"Prove that I am right to trust you miss Naganen," With that William went to Kaoz who was ready for battle. "Well I guess Ishould get ready as well," he said snapping his fingers. She sighed softly; it was the one that she met earlier in the alternate realm. It was good to know that it didn’t make any harm to William, even though she doesn’t know that guy. Either way, she looked at the feather when William handed it to her, inspecting it. It was beautiful, and she nodded to his words.

β€œI promise that I won’t make any mischiefs around here.” She smiled towards him, keeping the feather in a safe place. She would make sure that she would be useful through the combat, even though she couldn’t figure out of the puzzle yet. Thinking about the puzzle, she opened the book again, taking the same page as before, and started over again. She squinted; maybe she needed to pick the thread with her mind. She focused her energy on the thread, and it moved. Good, now she knows how to utilise the tool. Now, she only needs to make it drag along the puzzle, which was harder than most could think. She thought the same.

She tried to ask to her mentor again if it could help. She thought strong, thinking that the dragon could read her mind, and the dragon responded to her praying, but the outcome wasn’t the one she want. β€œI’m truly sorry, Hazel,” the dragon said β€œI unfortunately don’t know the source of the book, and I haven’t seen it from my own eyes. Maybe I could help you after the battle. Oh, and don’t force yourself; I wouldn’t like to seek for your soul.” Hazel sighed; she was alone with this, and with all of that interrogation thing, she lost precious time. She only hope to get it finish in time, and tried to empty her mind of everything, only concentrating on the puzzle. She closed her eyes, and her magical aura slightly tensed up as she tried to solve the puzzle in her mind.

Krios felt the blood moon in the high in the sky. He felt his powers and abilities all growing stronger with it's presence. The dark forces would bring the battle to the resistance in about 2 and a half hours. Samael flew high in the sky, his twin blades in hands ready to send his foes to the nether world.
'Let's get this started early' thought Krios lifting his blade to the sky, the moon reflected maliciously off his blade. He slashed down sending a giant blue blast of plasma toward the fort.

William noticed the blast coming toward them, he reacted quick as a flash setting up a barrier up in front of the wall. As the blast hit William despite being several meters from the barrier was pushed back. The barrier broke and the blast crashed into the wall shaking it nearly breaking it causing damage to everything. William fell to one knee panting.
"Crows!" said William. "Where is the enemy that shot that?" he asked 'he is 2 km away.' "Good. Shawn, Samuel with me!" yelled William, as he got back up flying off with Shawn on a dragon and Samuel on a bird flew after him.

Suddenly coming straight out of nowhere Samael came down from the sky at an unbelievable speed towards Kaoz, blade in front of him. His intention was to send her to the nether world "All right girly show me your blood!" he yelled

She opened her eyes; she could believe what she happened. Hazel took her time to collect her momeries as she paused the puzzle that was almost done. She looked at William whom seems quite wounded and tried to warn him, but it was too late; he ran away. She then looked in direct of Kaoz, wondering if she knews about what is happening, but Hazel squinted her eyes, and sees something that is coming in Kaoz’s direction. Hazel felt a trange feeling to save Kaoz as she leaped though the air, a magic circle below her feet.

β€œHope this works…” she mumbled to hear, arriving in front of Kaoz, completing the puzzle. Without her willing, she called out some kind in an ancient language as dolls appeared around Hazel and Samael. About twelve of them spun around between Hazel on Samael, to stop him if he hits her, and the other dolls blinked purple as a bright purple laser passed through each of them, trying to trap Samael to injure him with the laser.

Hazel looked different. Her eyes swithed to a purple tint as something seems to under clothing of her left shoulder. A purple magical circle floated under her. Hazel looked back at Kaoz, saying: β€œP-Please… don’t not interfear.” Even though she looked hesitant, her tone was clear. The book soon joined her side as the page flipped like in a recommendation, and she started onto the new puzzle more easily this time. She looked determined to send back that creature where he belongs. She looked back at the being, trying to see what she has to fight against with.

"What the?!" yelled Samael when the dolls appeared shooting the lazers. He avoided a few before he saw Hazel. "Oh" he gave an incredibly evil grimace. "so you have another girly," he said. He would find pleasure in ripping through her sending her to the land of the dead body, heart and soul.
"Well let's see what you got." he became a blur of movement as his swords slashed through the dolls. Wherever he cut a space opened up in the air. These were tiny and looked like space. These were passages to the underworld. They closed quickly, but took pieces of the dolls with them leaving the dolls broken and incomplete.
"Pathetic, you probably couldn't beat me even if I didn't have the blood moon" said Samael, still wearing that grimace. Suddenly he was in front of Hazel. "gasp," he said making a fake surprise face then returning to his grimace. "Did, he teleport? No girly I'm just that fast," he said
"suddenly he was hovering between Kaoz and Hazel "Well the two of you could give me a light work-out, hahahahaha," he he laughed like a mad man. As if his mind had perished long ago.

Kaoz Bloodred, demonic vampire, wasn't weak. She was the leader of the Rebellion for a reason, and she didn't like being toyed with. Suddenly, she was in front of Samael.
"Oh, did she just teleport? No. Maybe she happens to be amazingly fast too! She swung her foot, and if the man didn't dodge, it would have surely crushed his skull. She stopped right at the last moment, sending a blast of charged air straight at him. Finally, losing momentum, she started to fall. Then quickly stopped when dark wings made of shadow, with purple smoke-like substance, sprouted from her back. She stared at him with malice, and anger that he'd already infiltrated them. She pulled her sword from her scabbard, and ran her metal-tipped gloves down it creating a shiiing noise.
"You ready to dance, motherfucker?"

"Yes, I am girly!" responded Samael. This was great, Samael was thrilled. Kaoz Bloodred, feared for her cunning and unimaginable speed. Similar to Samael, unfortunately for her Samael had the blood moon making him even quicker.
He began moving at ultra fast speeds, running circles around Kaoz. Slashing with his swords from all sides. If he would do this to a normal weakling the only thing a normal person would see is Samael standing and suddenly the other is a pile of goo, but this was Kaoz.

Kaoz's red eyes shone evilly.
"You-" She disappeared and reappeared behind him, hitting him against the back of the head. "-forget-" she disappeared and reappeared in front of him. "-that you're not the-" She appeared next to him, and whispered in his ear. "-only one affected by the blood moon." She smiled, showing 2 inch long fangs. Instantly, she hissed and leaped at him to bite his neck.

Somewhere far off in the Dark One's ranks, a dark swirling cloud appeared in the sky.
The Dark Ones parted, leaving two lone figures standing side-by-side. One looked like a normal human, but wearing a dark black robe.
The other appeared human enough, if you ignore the blue-purple energy, presumably souls, flowing around him. Oh, and the dark black wings behind him.

"YOU ARE ALL HELLBOUND!" His voice boomed over the field.

Kaoz stopped mid-lunge, staring, eyes wide with fright. She looked straight at Samael.
"That was... Melancholy." She growled. "No more playing. Let's get this over with, Fallen One." She said, referring to how he had once been an Angel of Light, but had fallen and was now a Fallen Angel, a demon.

Samael was having difficulty with Kaoz she was stronger than he had thought. She was about to land a critical hit when suddenly. She was distrated by the sky parting. Samael's masters Divina and Melancholy appeared in the sky. They were his aspiration, true monsters and beings of destruction.
"I have decided I hate Vampire girlies like you," said Samael irritated that she was also suped up making her probably a bit stronger than him. "but with my masters here I cannot lose" He said increasing the fury of his attacks. Swords striking towards Kaoz. "I'll see you to the underworld, Girlie!" He slashed quicker and quicker, but Kaoz sped up as well. They were extremely close in power. Samael managed to thurst his blade forward slitting open Kaoz's arm.
"Dam I only managed to scratch you girlie. Oh well, I guess I'll enjoy this slow-" Samael felt pain looking down at his waist. Their was a black mark appearing. It was a bruise. He felt it his bones were slightly fractured. "DAM YOU GIRLIE!"

William, Shawn and Samuel had no trouble finding Krios. He stood tall over the dark forces. His plasma gave him a ghostly glow. "Let's do this quick!" yelled Shawn. He placed his hands forward While a giant air born leviathan blasted out towards Krios.
Krios simply put up his hand and stopped the leviathan not even budging even in the slightest. He lifted the Leviathan than slammed it into the ground and vaporised it with his plasma.
"Dammit" yelled shawn. "Don't be hasty Shawn." said Samuel. He moved his hands lifting giant boulders and threw them onto Krios.
Everything was quiet for a minute, then bam! Krois shattered free from the boulders.
"I'll get him," said William sending a giant arrow made of his force field. It hit Krios straight in the chest, however it just broke apart on impact Krios was unharmed.
Krios held up three fingers. They glowed blue with his plasma, suddenly they shot three plasma balls. They hit Shawn and Samuel's bird and dragon, vaporising them. Shawn and Samuel landed gracefully, but William was hit in his wings by Krios's plasma. His wing disappeared as he hit the ground painfully.

Semira G. Skeller
Semira sat silently in the shadows, twiddling with her fingers. She had been watching the fight that was happening. Her light blue eyes were locked on the male who had just hit the ground. She wanted to intervene but of course, she was too scared. She could be detected by strong senses, but not too sight. She gripped the grass under her tightly, still contemplating too help or not. She bit her lip and closed her eyes.
Adam V. Blackwell
Adam slid his hands into his pockets, music blasting from his earbuds to his ears. A sly grin spread across his face as he began to whistle too the melody of his music.

Krios stabbed his sword into the center of William's chest. "Please just lay down and die," said Krios. William looked up at Krios the pain in his chest unbearable. "I' c-can'-c-" He tried to say as he passed out.
"You bastard!" yelled Shawn summoning a giant snake. Krios simply swiped it out in to two, his plasma nearly trailing back to Shawn, luckily Samuel snagged him out of the way.
"Calm down Shawn! We can help him. We still have time to help him. First we should draw Krios away from him, then you can send one of your creatures to save him," said Samuel.
"Fine," was Shawn's reply
"Come on bastard!" yelled shawn using his powers to create small creatures to lure Krios away. Krios did follow, but he took his time literally just walking forward easily slicing through Shawn's creatures.
"Dam what is this guy?" asked Samuel mainly to himself.
Soon they were far from William, and in the thick of a raging war. Monsters humans beasts of all sorts all around killing each other.

Semira's eyes widened at the males sudden condition. She bit her lip heavily. She suddenly burst free from the shadows, her long, light pink hair trailing behind her as she ran too the wounded. She knelt next too him, her sky blue looking him over. She placed a hand onto his cheek. "He's cold..." She whispered lightly. Her voice was frail and tiny, almost distant. She began too sing a few pitches in another language. One that was not known too many creatures or humans. William became light enough for her too carry back into the shadows with her.
Once there, she sat him back down and looked at him. This is the first contact she had had with another being in a long time. She surveyed his wounds thoroughly.

William slightly heard the enchanting words, then felt himself being carried. While being carried he smelt a nice smell, appealing to him. He felt himself placed down. It was cool around him, he felt cold. William opened his eyes. "... I must be dead," he said in a soft whisper. Looking down on him was, a beautiful girl, with light pink hair and deep blue eyes. His reasoning for being dead, she must be an angel. 'Guess the Christians were right' he thought to himself.
Then William coughed, and a little blood came out. "Guess I'm not dead yet" he said. If he could feel pain he was definitely alive.

William listened to the words she sung. He didn't understand them, but to him they sounded like a gentle warmth, if their was a way to sound that out. The warm sounds became actual warmth making, he didn't feel they cold any more, it felt like his worries were reduced to mere ripples across a pond's surface.
The girl wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth. Her hand was nice and soft just like her voice as she said to him "You'll be alright..."
William Summoned up what little strength he could to raise his back and head. Making him come face to face with the girl. William blushed a little. "Hi... I'm William," he managed to say.
