It was a typical morning and Damian, like usual, had woken up late. "Damn alarm....Always failing to go off!" He grumbled as he forced himself up and into the shower. He took what was possibly the shortest shower in history, brushed his teeth and got dressed. He took a glance into a window, decided he looked fine then mentally beat himself up for worrying about his looks. He ran outside, grabbing a bagel on the way out and hopped onto his motorcycle.

Damian practically sped to school, it didn't make a difference though because he was still late to class. He Stepped into the class room and everyone stared at him. Damian shrugged it off and walked to his desk. There was a new girl today, he glanced at her once, realizing who she was, and then looked back to the board to take notes.

Damian almost fell asleep when his teacher announced that there would be a project to work on with a partner. Damian sighed lightly as project partners weren't exactly his favorite thing. He listed as the teacher assigned partners to every one. "Damian you're paired with Miss Goldsworthy, the teacher said sounding very bored. Damian glanced at the young lady then nodded at the teacher. The teacher explained that they had to pick an ancient civilization and compose a five minute long presentation about their culture, life tools, accomplishments, and major battles. He also included that it was worth twenty five percent of their grade. Damian sighed and continued to write down the projects rules and instructions.

Jayson was surprised to have a project on her first day but didn't complain about it. Once figuring out who her project partner was she made her way over to him and smiled. "Hi, I'm Jayson, it's nice to meet you." she greeted. She had copied down the details of the project so she knew what to do as she was sure he did as well. "So do you have any ideas on what civilizations we should do?" she asked and pulled up a chair next to him. She looked around and saw that everyone else was conversing with their partner about the project and ignored the few stares given to her.

"Also when do you think we'll be able to work on it?" she asked, jotting down some ideas in her notebook and awaiting his answers. It was the first school project she had ever worked on with someone. Sure she had lessons with private teachers while on the road or performing but never with another person. It felt different and it interested her. Jayson knew she would have to multi-task several things what with her new album coming out soon and promotions for it but school was now an important thing to her so she'd find a way to multitask succesfully.

Damian watched as the young woman name Jayson made he way over to him and pulled up a chair. "Well i was thinking we could do the egyptains, maybe the Mesopotamians. Do you have any suggestions? " He asked. He wasn't making much eye contact, but then again he rarely did. " We can work on it anytime and anywhere thats convenient for you. I'm almost always free..." He said, he doodled on his notebook.

Damian didn't really have much to do now that he was out of his gang for good. His previous friends had shunned his and he was alone most of the time. Damians father was never in the picture and his mother worked three jobs so she was never home, Damian found himself to grow increasingly more lonely every day. "I don't suggest woking on it at my house though, you'd probably get mugged before you got through the door." He said being completely serious. The people in his neighborhood weren't very friendly at all. Damian never looked like he came from that kind of neighborhood though, and it was something he took pride in.

Jayson listened to his suggestion. "We can do those or Ancient greeces or the aztecs but those might be commonly used." she added but wrote down all of the suggestions down anyway. "We can work over at my house for a while though I may have to go to the studio. If you're up for sticking around we can work on it a bit today that is if you can get through those vultures without issue." by vultures she was referring to the press that had made there way outside the front of the school once again.

She noticed his lack of eye contact but hadn't said anything about such or about his neighborhood as it wasn't any of her business and she didn't know him well enough to pry into such matters. She just wondered now if she could have made a possible friend though she doubted it. Her busy schedule and career made it difficult to meet people around her age that were normal and ould act like a true friend instead of just want an autograph, VIP access, and get into celebrity parties to meet other celeberities. She tended not to make any for the fact that every time she did in the past she felt that they were using her.

At school so far it didn't seem to be such circumstances though she wasn't sure if it would stay that way for so long. For right now though she'd focus on her first school project with her partner.

" Greece sounds good to me, we just have to reserve it." He said, finally making eye contact and realizing that she was quite beautiful. He brushed off the thought. " Working at your house is fine with me, and if you have to go to the studio, go ahead i'll just keep working." He said and the bell rang for his next class. "I'll reserve ancient greece. It was nice to meet you...." He said as he got up, collected his things and went to the teacher to reserve the topic. The teacher allowed it and Damian hurried off to his next class.

A few class periods went by and soon it was lunch. Damian was planning on grabbing some fast food but the principle shut down that idea, stating that students weren't allowed to leave school during lunch period. So damian grabbed his lunch bag and plopped it down at an empty table like he usually did. Most of the kids at school knew what he used to be and feared him for it. Damian never understood what was so wrong about it. He sat quietly eating his lunch, ignoring the obvious stares from his classmates.

She nodded at his first statement and smiled at his last replying with, "It was nice meeting you too." she said. Her next classes were filled with people finding excuses to ask her for questions or crowd around her. She loved her fans but the people asking her questios like how much money she has or if they can hand out at a party with her weren't the fans she was used to. Lunch was worse. As soon as she wlked in several things happened. Many offering to buy and get her lunch, or offering to invite her with their group. She regected such offers and got her food by herself.

Once getting her food and returnig the smiled the lunch ladies gave her she looked around for an empty table when she spotted her project partner sitting alone and headed towards his table. "Do you mind if I sit here?" she asked ignoring the gasps and sounds of disappointment around her. She had yet to sit not wanting to intrude on the handsome young boy. Last thing she wanted was to seem rude to someone who was actually nice to her by not treating her differently and simply acting polite and normal. Thats what she wanted but she wouldn't demand it and wouldn't demand it from him either.

Damian was muting on his lunch until his thoughts were interrupted by a young girl speaking to him. She was asking about sitting near him. "Go ahead." He said softly. He continued eating his very simple lunch, it was just a sandwich, an apple, a soda, and a lollipop. He finished his sandwich, leaving the apple for later and popped that sucker into his mouth. "Sorry if I'm quiet, not many people choose to talk to me much." He stated after removing the sucker from his mouth. "So where exactly do you live? i need to know for project reasons." He asked.

Lunch was half over and people were leaving the cafeteria to go outside, Normally he would have followed the crowd and sat on a bench outside, but he had a lunch partner today. He decided it was rude to leave and so he didn't. He awaited her answer, humming quietly to himself.

She smiled at his answer and sat down. While she ate she kind of enjoyed the silence. She chocked it up to the fact that her life comes full circle and she loved it all but she also desired a certain silence at night. When Damian commented on it she shook her head. "Don't worry about it. Only time I get silecne is at home." it was true as she legally lived alone. It was easier for her to do so. When he had asked about her adress she was actually surprised he stuck around instead of leaving with the rest of the crowd. She quickly jotted it down on a small pieces of paper that she ripped out from her notebook and handed it to him.

Right now she had music and wanted to outwardly and loudly sigh. She loved singing and music but putting such a strain on her vocal chords and on herself in general wasn't good so she'd avoid singing if she was able to for now if that was possible. "You can always just travel with me to save yourself the trouble she stated. She had to figure out where her class was and she just hoped she would get lost in doing so.

"Ah, Ok then." He said, taking the paper and stuffing it into his pocket for later. "WHat time do you want me to show up to work on the project? " He asked. He checked the clock. Lunch was nearly over and he had anatomy next. He sighed outwardly at the thought of having to sit through that class. Normally he would have just skipped the class, but right now he was trying to get his act together and get his grades up. "I guess i'll travel with you if you have to go to the studio. It would be a bit strange to just be sitting around in your house working by myself" He stated and packed up his things. Waiting for an answer to his earlier question.

Jayson slung her bag over her shoulder before answering him. "You can just come along with me. I'm being driven home so I'll be waiting outside." The bell had rung offcially signalling the beginning of class. She waved before heading off to her class glad that she hadn't gotten lost when trying to find the right classroom. She had come in and met with the face of utter excitement from her music instructor whom introduced himself as Mr.Saunders. Jayson immediately felt welcomed by him and the rest of the class. At least for this class she wasn't bombarded with questions or people wanting to use her her to meet celebrities at least for now. Her last classes went by in a blur and once the school day was over and she was making her way towards thw exit students crowded her along with the press and she barely made it out to the limo awaiting her.

The principal had made many leave with threats to the students of detention or suspension while threatening the press with police action. All of this was hectic for her just to make it to the limo but instead of just getting in she waited outside for Damian.

Anatomy class was boring as usual and Damian found himself almost asleep until the bell rang. He packed up his things and stopped at the school vending machine. He bought two drinks then made his way outside. Damian got stopped by a group of girls asking him out, this happened at least twice a week. Everyone wanted to date the "bad boy" of the school. Damian declined and left them standing in awe that he had refused so quickly.

He made his way outside and saw the limo, Walking up towards it after making sure his motorcycle was safe and secured. He walked up saying a quick hello and handing her a one of the two drinks he purchased. "So...You ready to go?" He asked, eager to leave the school.

Jayson was surprised by the fact he handed her a drink he got for her but took it gratefully. "Thanks and yeah I am." she sighed exasperatedly hearing the press still going on with question from a bit away from the school entrance. They were across the street and wouldn't stop until her chauffeur opened the door for them and closed it for them as well. It was only the afternoon and she still had a busy schedule ahead of her. She was recording her very first album that was fully in english. It was something new for her and it was a big deal to her, her manager, and her fans.

Jayson wasn't sure if the male sitting in the limo with her was a fan of herse but it didn't matter. She'd find a way to contribute her share into the project depsite her schedule. Jayson knew the way she lived was far from the normal teenager's but it was a given. Even if her mother was still around she'd still have such problem just with more problems at home and more to deal with at school. She'd try her best to live the life of a normal teenager to the best of her ability.

Damian wasn't sure what to do or talk about. He had never been in a limo before and it was strange to him. Damian was about to speak when his phone vibrated in his pocket. He dug it out and checked the txt he got. "We need to talk bro, now." The message said and was marked as urgent. He replied with "I can't now..." And shoved his phone back into his pocket. It vibrated sevrel other times but he let it go and eventually shut his phone off, probably looking stressed.

"So....What do you like to do? Well, other than sing that is? " He asked. He wasn't meaning to pry into her personal life, but he was curious about her. He knew she was famous but hadn't really listened to many of her songs. He decided that he would when he got home. He awaited an answer while sipping his soda.

Jayson looked over at him after he asked her a question. "Well I love to look after animals, dance and thing relating to art but unfortunately I don't usually have time to pick up new hobbies even though I'd really like to." she answered truthfully as it had been a long time since she was able to do things other than her career and though she loved her career it was also a cause of what deprived her of a normal life.

"And you? What do you like to do?" she asked. She didn't know much about him and seeing as how he asked her the same question she saw it only fair to ask that but also she was curious about him as they had yet to speak about personal things about each other. She wouldn't pry into his life but just see basic things people tend to do when they first meet someone. He's already coming over to start on a project so why not try and get to know each other in the process?

"I like...cats, music, doing martial arts, and computers i guess. I like to work on my motorcycle too..." He answered. "So whats your favorite animal? " He asked. By now he was just trying to make conversation so he wasn't just sitting there all awkwardly quiet like he normaly would. He was going to this girls house, the least he could do if hold a conversation with her.

Damian looked out the window at the passing cars and the blurred trees as the car went down the road to Jaysons house. He knew she must have lived in a really big house, maybe even a mansion. He wondered if the had one of those dogs that only rick people seem to have with them all the time. He realized that he was stereotyping and shut out the thoughts. He was still very curious about her though, probably more interested in her than anyone else he had met so far.

She smiled at his question. "Well I like both cats and dogs but cats are my favorite." she replied remembering how she always wanted one as a child. She could easily get one now but there would be no one there to take care of it and the last thing Jayson wanted was to be neglectful of an animal. She glaned out the window seeing they were nearing her condo. She was content with her living conditions in a condo. Having a big mansion mean that her manager wished to have maids to clen it up all the time but it also brung home the fact that she was all alone pretty much.

Her current house was cozy and had a bedroom and a guest bedroom. All she needed was one bed but she still was grateful for having the home she has now. Once the car pulled up to the complex the driver opened the door for both of them. She stood up taking in the sight of her room and was glad that the vultures also known as the press hadn't shown up here as her address wasn't something made public. "We're here." she stated to Damian.

"Cats huh? I just got a kitten a couple days ago. She doesn't even have a name yet, I've been calling her Kitty" He sighed with a slight smile. His mother had allowed him a pet since he was doing better at school. So he went out and adopted a small, grey kitten from the local animal shelter and took her home.

They pulled up to an apartment complex, Damian was slightly surprised that a superstar like her lived in an apartment. "Were here." She stated. Damian nodded and got out of the car. The press wasn't anywhere around, Damian was happy for that. The press was annoying. He walked with Jayson to her door, carrying the supplies they needed in his backpack. As well ass his computer for researching.

Jayson yelled a thanks to her driver before entering the revolving door to the complex. It wasn't an ordinary apartment complex as there were probably other celbrities residing there as well along with high-ranking politicians, business owners, and several other wealthy people. Jayson liked it because not much happened in the are and it was secluded enough where it wasn'well known. Stepping into the elevator show that it wasn't like normal buildings. It had the color of gold and high tech of it. She was glad for the elevator as she lived on the top floor.

Jayson walked out of the elevator once reaching her floor and opening it using her key which was more of a card than anything that was identified by a security system within a rectangular box near the knob. Even if in a good neighbor people could never be too careful. She walked in and lefrt the door for Damian. "Welcome to my humble abode." her condo was larger than most but fully furnished with nice and matching sets of furniture with high-tech appliances. "Would you like something to eat, drink?" she offered once making it to her kitchen. Jayson had finished the drink given to her by Damian in the limo and was hungry after a long day at school also being her first day which was stressful.

Damian took in the sites of the complex as he walked with Jason to her apartment. It looked pretty normal to him, not too luxurious or anything. He supposed that even famous people wanted to feel like normal people too. Damian walked wit JAyson to her apartment, where she unlocked it and let him in. He closed the door behind him and set his backpack on the floor next to a couch.

"Would you like something to eat, drink?"

"Oh, No thank you, i'm good." Damian was usually never very hungry right after school got out. Tired yes, hungry no. Besides, he had a granola bar in his back pack if he got hungry. He sat down in a chair and got his computer out to do some research.

Jayson shrugged at his answer and took out a pack of gummy bears and proceeded to eat them while walking over to where he was and sat next to him. She stated a few facts about ancient greece that she learned during her lesson and actually visiting greece during her tour. She left the gummy bear in between the both of them so if he wanted he could take some. It was his computer so she didn't touch it but in the middle of researching her manager called her. She was told she need to be at the studio in a half-an-hour. With Jayson agreeing she hung up and looked over at Damian. "So I'm going to have to head to the studio soon. You can stay here or come along though you'll be sitting about watching me record pretty much." she informed him.

The though of him seeing her singing for her new album made her feel a bit nervous. She'd be singing in english and would be singing the new song she just finished writing so it was a new thing to have someone other than her manager and the producers seeing her like that though if disliked such an idea she wouldn't kick him out she'd come home faster than usual to work on the project with him until later.
