[My Past]
James grew up in a rough home. His father died when he was very young and he barely remembers the man. His mom couldn't pay the bills and turned to prostitution before marryhing his stepfather. His mom barely pays much attention to anything except for her next drink or what is on tv and his stepfather is worse. Much worse. To put it bluntly, he is a predator and molested James when he was child and a young teenager. His only solace was a small group of similarly troubled teens at school. James never did well at school though he is honestly quite smart. It is no wonder he didn't graduate.

[My Present]
James jumped at the chance to run away from home with his friends. He barely lived at home anyway and with the way things were going, it was a miracle he wasn't in jail or dead given the hatred he and his stepfather felt for one another. Partying, doing drugs, selling drugs. It seemed like the only thing to do. James just wants to enjoy life as much as he can.
