"Fee, fi, fo, fum. Ready or not, folks, here I come."
With years of thieving expertise under his belt, Jack is as cocky as they come. Laid-back and ever the optimist, he never seems to have a care in the world. While he fancies himself a ladies man, the only thing Jack truly loves is money and the thrill of thieving. He's an incurable kleptomaniac and will steal just about anything that isn't nailed down, especially if it's made of gold, silver, or the like. Since brute strength isn't really his forte, he prefers to utilize a quick wit and even quicker action. Aside from the philosophy of "Don't get caught," Jack has no real morals to speak of. As far as he's concerned, the world is his oyster, and every pearl is his for the taking.
Silver Dagger: In the right hands, a good knife can go a long way. This was one of the first things he stole from the giant's castle, so he's very attached to it.
Smoke Bombs: Useful for a quick getaway. Also great for parties and magic tricks.
Grapple Hook: Good for...well, climbing and stuff. That's always handy, right?
Leather Pack: Well, a good thief needs somewhere to keep his loot. 'Nuff said.
Never leaves home without a bandana on his head and an earring in his left ear.
Here's a story you may know...
Once upon a time there was a poor boy named Jack who lived a miserable life with his mother. One day, she sent him into town to sell their cow so they could pay for food for the winter. Instead of money, though, he traded the cow to an old man in exchange for some magic beans. Jack's mother, absolutely furious, threw them out the window and told him off for being such a gullible little fool. However, the beans grew overnight into an enormous beanstalk that reached into the heavens. Amazed, Jack climbed it to the very top, where he found a castle inhabited by an rich giant. Once the giant was asleep, he grabbed as much treasure as he could carry and returned home.
Years passed, and Jack continued to venture up to the castle, even after he and his mother had become richer than some royalty. No matter how much gold they had, he always wanted more, having become obsessed with treasure and the thrill of stealing it. Satisfied that his mother was set for life, he set out for far off places in search of fortune and adventure, eventually gaining a reputation as a notorious thief.
