Though Michael was asleep, his instincts told him that it was near sundown. Even so, it took a lot of willpower to actually bring himself to wake up. His bed, even though it was old, was comfortable. At least to him right now.
he rooled off the bed, swearing a little under his breath as the movement pulled at his remaining injries. It didn't hurt as much as he thought it would though. He must be healing faster than he expected. He would need to thank Lucy for that. Speaking of which, they should be back pretty soon...
Finding a clean shirt among the boxes of stuff he had collected, he went back upstairs, wincing slightly as he pulled the shirt on. The bandages seemed to be okay, and the wounds themselves had closed up fairly well, but he would be stiff and sore for a while yet, until he had fully recovered.
I had some painkillers here somewhere..., he mused as he searched for the box of medication. Finding it, he downed the remainder of the pills, his vamparic body meaning that he had to take almost triple the dose for a human if it were going to have any effect. Said effect would also wear off quicker than it would a human, but it he could just keep the pain away for a few hours, he would be able to think straight for a while.
